Will, the strange kid whispered to his seatmate. Nico was lazily tracing some doodles on his notebook, cheek resting on his palm and eyelids getting heavier by the second, yet he still hummed softly, knowing that the blonde might pester him forever if he doesn't respond.

Will smiled a shiny wide smile, taking opportunity that the teacher is turning his back to them to face Nico completely.

I just had possibly greatest/strangest fic idea

so character A is a math nerd and character B is in their math class and they like each other, the usual. Character A decides to show their love by literal equations to solve to confess. So every day they give character B a literal equation to solve and in the end they spell out "i like you"

I once read somewhere, Will uses his hypersonic whistling thing and his first reaction is to cover Nico’s ears and I just think it’s cute. It’s a small detail, him hugging Nico’s head close to his chest and cover his other ear, making sure he’d be unharmed first, but it warms me inside out.

Actually I think one of my favourite tropes is when character A is having a panic attack of sorts and their love interest guides them through the five senses exercise but when they ask them what they can see/feel/hear/smell they just say "You. Only you."

I think Nico and Will would like messing with older technology stuff together. Will likes it for the retro aesthetic while Nico likes learning about shit he didn't get to grow up with. Will specifically enjoys getting audio related stuff like cassette tape recorders or radios. Wills dad gave them his old camcorder and polaroid camera so they make little video diary/vlog type shit and scrap books together.

Wet, but he can't feel the rain. it's cloudy, yet he still senses the sun.

He always had this connection to it, the sun, he just can't figure it out, until the day he stumbled upon a cute kid selling animated sun stickers near the park.

The boy was blonde with huge dark eyes. day after day the two bonded together and the kid told Nico,

"my brother makes them at home, he's sick and I'm gathering him money"

"he told me the name of his disease once, wait, it's a name of a constellation I think? Oh, cancer! Will has cancer!!"

"Will baked cookies for me today, I brought some for you. Why are you worried? Will told me he's getting better, he told me he's strong and a mild illness is nothing to him"

"he's so awesome! He's like my superhero!!"

"Nico, he lied. Will is not alright, I saw him coughing blood this morning, he's not alright. I'm scared..."

YES i do!! so sorry that it's been taking so long, i was visiting colleges the past few days and now my spring break is over ://

it is currently abt 4.9k words, and i think there'll prob be a bit more... like maybe 7k words if i had to take a guess? somewhere around there. i'll def be working on it throughout the week/weekend and will hopefully be able to post it soon!

but for now, here's a little excerpt :)

Will thinks that this is easily the most cameras he’s ever been in front of. He attempts to keep his eyes open, barely managing to, but he wouldn’t be surprised if he googled his name tomorrow only to find a bunch of pictures of him wincing at the flashing lights.

He’s still not entirely used to this. He hadn’t grown up in the spotlight. Sometimes, he’s not really sure why he’s under it now, but instead of spending too long pondering about that, he takes a step forward on the red carpet and keeps walking.

God, if someone told his fifteen-year-old self that this was where he would be in five short years? He would have laughed in that person’s face and told them to give that line to the next dreamer. They weren’t short of them in Nashville.

Someone calls his name and he takes a few more steps forward, finding himself on the steps of the Met. He takes the few seconds of peace to look around and get a feel for how quickly everyone else is moving, but tries not to let his gaze linger anywhere on the off-chance that someone catches a picture.

He nearly does it, preparing to move along up the steps, when his eyes catch on someone who seems to be just glancing past him. 

Will feels like he’s seen him before. From the distance, he can’t get a good look at his features, only the pitch dark curls that fall perfectly above his shoulders and piercing brown eyes that spark him with familiarity—but Will has never met him before, has he?

The moment is over within a second. The man—though he must not be much older than Will, at least from what he can tell—gets his attention pulled away by a lady with a microphone, and Will is prompted to move up the stairs again.
