Sooo Calypso and Leo would have been better as friends. It is not okay to have calypso be a woman that is clearly better than Leo and have Leo oppress her when through the entire time we have known him Leo is a mysogynistic freak who can’t handle strong women and needs a fucking mom to be his s/o and all that shit. Why is calypso the one he is not afraid to fight with? Where did that come from? I think Calyspo is Demi sexual which means she would love to have a relationship where they do couple like things and hold hands, cute seeet stuff like raise a dog together. Her whole thing is finding love so if it took a while or she found a friend she like raises a kid with and didn’t do the nasty and had a whole self discovery of her being asexual, that is what would make sense and be inclusive. Calypso deserves more than being the helpless ex who is awkward and sweet and has a shitty toxic relationship. We all saw her the the way station, she WANTS she YEARNS to have a roof garden and a little girl and wear overalls and grow old like Emmy and Jo did. She wants to make cheese bread and be the gardener grandma and live her life to the fullest with indie music playing on the background. What she does not need is for Leo to get her pregnant straight out of high school and treat her like an item and be toxic and keep her from having a rooftop garden in Indiana. tips to male authors who are worried about making mistakes like this though if you may be worried.

Women don't stare at themselves in the mirror and admire their boobs or their ass or whatever. They are often disgusted by how they look. It is important to show some sort of insecurity because things in the media where women "don't give a shit about how they look" can make insecure women feel upset. But it is important to have the character grow away from the tendency to make fun of themselves, so have the character develop away from that!

and also, to that first guy, out boobs don't roll with our eyes.
