you went out in the freezing cold without a coat on, even though they told you to put it on

genshin impact + jjba | i missed a lot of characters sorry :(

he would laugh at you saying, “i told you so didnt i?”. he would tease you to no end. saying how cute you look wrapped up in the blankets, how he’s your personal doctor for getting medicine for you, and even laughing at your embarrassed face when he feeds you. he does enjoy taking care of you though, it’s one of the rare times he can tease you all day with an excuse. if you happen to need something he’s already on the way to grab it . “it’s a prince’s job to get whatever his dear princess desires” he’d say. even though you’re in a miserable state he always finds a way to brighten up the mood.

“oh dear…” he sighs knowing he shouldn’t be surprised. after all he couldn’t be mad at you, all you wanted to do was enjoy the rain. he chuckles to himself when you blush as he puts the spoon towards your lips. “come on my love, you know this is good for you.” the medicine is very herbal, he tells you how natural medicine has more benefits and blah blah. he gives a satisfying hum as you swallow it (pause), knowing you’ll be better soon. he still does everything as usual, going to work, making breakfast, and cleaning the house. he gets everything ready and prepared for you before he leaves to run errands. although he loves you there’s no kisses until you’ve recovered, he wouldn’t want to get sick as well.

“hmm….” he acts like he doesn’t care even though he does. he buys anything you need and just hands it to you, saying “you can do it by yourself.” once he realizes you are too sick to do it he quickly takes things in his own hands. while taking care of you he keeps a straight face but is screaming on the inside. it was a perfect chance to enjoy being near you without making it obvious. he doesn’t mind taking care of you though. wait. he…is…taking care of you? and the way he is so close to his love makes him melt. his cheeks flush a crimson red, when you notice this and mention it he’ll just brush it off. “i must be getting sick because of you.” at the end of the day he’ll give you a kiss on the forehead, “you should listen to me next time” he hopes you don’t so this can happen again.

he’s very sweet, always making sure if you’re okay. he will use words of encouragement, “i’m sorry you’re sick dear, but i promise it will be over soon!” he says as he smiles at you. he’s such a sweetheart, bringing everything you need in an instant. his bright personality makes you forget that you’re even sick sometimes. he kisses you and hugs you as usual even though you warned him you don’t want the sickness to get to him. “i don’t mind if i get sick as long as i get to kiss you!” he also insists he does everything for you. it’s like you don’t move an inch, not even if you need to eat something, he prefers if you let him feed it to you. he wants you to rest the best you can and get better as quick as possible! he loves you a lot and will always find a way to put a smile on your face.

Yoshi!! I'm so happy to get a request from you :D And Kira is such an interesting character to write for (I get why he's your fave)! There's a lot of ways to interpret him I think :0

I went for the reader being a house spouse for now, but I might also be interested in writing how he would be as a stay-at-home husband too...

Kira as a Husband

Warnings: Gendered reader (fem) (only outright mentioned in points 2 and 3)

First and foremost, Kira is a traditionalist!

He's not so strict in his beliefs that he's against any and all amendments, but he does push for you, as the wife/fem-leaning spouse in the relationship, to be more domestic

In other words, he thinks that you should be the one to stay home and take care of the house

...Not that his vision is really accurate to reality

Kira got so used to taking care of his house/shopping/cooking during his life as a bachelor, he found he actually quite likes it!

He finds that cooking helps him cool off/unwind after a long day at work especially.

He'll come to realise his love for cooking quickly into the relationship. Especially if something about your food seems off– like you put too much salt into his eggs

In that case, he'll try to help you with cooking next time so you "know what he likes". But then he'll get a little too particular...

By the end of it, you'll be sitting down at the dinner table while he finishes making the meal alone

Kira does have an unfortunate habit of getting a little controlling and particular– especially with mundane things

He'll try his best to point them out to you politely– let's say, he tells you before going to bed that the books on the coffee table were displayed horizontally instead of upright with a bookend –but it's not hard to tell it really bothers him

He's simply not all that used to letting other people into his life so intimately

Never doubt his love for you, though! Kira truly believes you were meant for him, and he was meant for you

Again, it's the little things that mean the world to him. Little things you do that make him fall all the more in love for you

When he first met you, it might've just been the type of nail polish you used, or the polite way you spoke to him

Then he started noticing your unique and charming traits–

Maybe it was the reoccurring snacks you took during break being similar to his own tastes

Maybe you're the kind of person to stop what they're doing just to fix a tilted picture frame in the same way he would

Maybe it was just a unique accent or dialect he's never heard before.

Whatever it was, it seemed to hit just the right spot! Now he's dedicated to learning all your little quirks– especially now that he's your husband

I mean, that's what husbands are for, right?

He'll notice how quickly or slowly you go through certain foods/drinks/anything, really

And, though he generally doesn't do the groceries, he'll pick up similar foods/drinks/items to the ones you're so fond of after getting off his shift every so often

By the time he's married to you, he'll already know your favorite color and animal. But he probably won't know your favorite scent, your favorite vegetable, or your ultimate pet peeve

When he's married to you, he'll try to learn every little detail about you as though it were his life's mission

Preferably, he'll do it without outright asking you. But if the answer evades him for too long, he'll get frustrated and ask you point-blank

So it's not an uncommon occurrence for Kira to randomly ask a question like what celebrity you had a crush on while you were in middle school

Kira, prior to you, generally didn't make an effort to develop meaningful relationships with other people

It was something that his coworkers noticed and found odd

To Kira, he just never felt a need to connect with other people. He felt he was okay on his own

Now, of course, he has you! And not only do you provide him with a relationship, but you push him to make more human connections

If you're the one telling him to do it, he'll actually put in an effort to talk to his coworkers.

He supposes he could even take them up on an invite to a nearby café someday– if that's what you really think he should do

Though no matter what, he'll always find the relationship he has with you as the best one he has

As close as he may get with other people, he feels that you're the only person he can truly relax around.

He never has to feign politeness around you (well– apart from when you sort his alphabetical books wrongly. But even then, he's nice because he wants to be kind to you)

He can be as "boring" as he wants to be around you

Attention. how much attention do they want in the relationship?

she can be very needy at times so she wants all the attention she can get!

Babies. do they want a family? why or why not?

she does, but that’s not until wayyy later into the relationship. jolyne herself would want a small family and she thinks having a baby would be so cute.

Cuddling. do they like to cuddle and show affection? if so how?

yes she loves cuddling 100%! she would show affection but hugging you or wrapping herself around your arm, and the occasional kisses on your lips/cheek.

Dates. what are dates with them like? what do they like to do?

she would like to go somewhere fun. perhaps the park or somewhere with icecream! she loves to talk about the both of you and her journey with friends and such. dates with jolyne are super fun and filled with laughter.

Equal. do they prefer to be more dominant or submissive in the relationship?

jolyne is kind of both. in the beginning she’s submissive, but as time goes on she’ll slowly start to be more dominant.

Fights. how do they handle arguments?

she would want to work things out between the two of you. she can be a bit stubborn at times but in the end you both make up for it ( in a tight hug or just laying in bed holding each other).

Gratitude. how grateful are they in general? are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

she is so grateful to have you as a partner! yes, she knows everything that you do for her so she makes it up by taking you out on dates!

Honesty. are they honest with their s/o? how important is it to them in a relationship?

she’s 99% honest with you. the other 1% would be something she’s embarrassed about. it is almost everything to her in the relationship, jolyne would like it if you kept nothing hidden from each other but she of course understands there are boundaries.

Insight. how easy is it for them to read their partner? (mood, thoughts, etc.)

it might take her a little bit to realize if something is off with you, but due to her observation abilities she’ll catch on quickly. i’d say it’s fairly easy for her to read you.

Jealousy. do they get jealous? if so, how easily? how do they deal with it?

she can get jealous, and it doesn’t take much. when someone is being to touchy or rather close to you. she’ll try to hide it by acting nonchalant but she’s secretly dying on the inside.

Kiss. what are their kisses like? who kissed who first?

her kisses are soft and sweet, she likes to give you pecks on the cheek. jolyne kissed you first but blushed a lot afterwards.

Love. who said "i love you" first? how often do they say it?

she would be the one to say it first. jolyne loves you a lot so she will say it everyday when you wake up.

Marriage. do they want to get married? how long do they have to be in the relationship beforehand?

yes she would love to get married! jolyne wants to marry the right one so probably 3-4 years.

Nickname. what are the nicknames they have for their s/o? do they like when their s/o uses nicknames?

she’d try to be romantic so maybe things like dear/darling. she absolutely LOVES it when you call her a nickname. she thinks it’s cute but would probably blush after hearing you say it.

Jolyne’s trust has been broken before so she doesn’t want to feel the same devastation as she did again. it would take her around 6 months to start trusting you.

PDA. how do they feel about public displays of affection? what kind of PDA do they show?

she gets a little embarrassed about it but doesn’t mind if you hold hands/hug each other.

Quality time. what do they like to do for quality time with their s/o?

she likes to be outdoors with you, you’d find yourselves at a fast food place or an aquarium. even holding hands while you just walk around the city.

if you’re feeling sad then she is sad. jolyne will want to cheer you up right away! seeing her s/o in a state like that is a big no. she’ll think of a solution quickly and will take you out to whatever restaurant you love. if you don’t feel like going out she’ll gladly stay inside with you while you both watch a movie and cuddle, she’ll even try to make you laugh with some jokes as well.

she’s willing to try new things as long as you are too. she doesn’t really mind having a routine just as long as you’re happy! but she might want to try some things here and there.

she basically knows everything about you. she can tell how you’re feeling just by looking at you, her ability to understand you is incredible.

it is very easy for him to read you. he can know how you’re feeling just by looking at you and even your thoughts by the facial expressions you make.

yes he can get jealous. but it’s not really easy, it mostly happens when you give someone else your attention for too long. or when a friend of yours is a bit touchy. he will try his best to not show it, telling himself that that’s just what friends do. but when it keeps happening he’ll make excuses for you to leave that person, saying something like, “ i believe we need to finish shopping dear” and gently pushing you to walk away.

Kiss. what are their kisses like? who kissed who first?

his kisses are soft and short. he prefers to kiss you on your hands but doesn’t mind giving them on your lips/forehead. he would be the one to kiss you first.

Love. who said "i love you" first? how often do they say it?

surprisingly he said it first. kira wants you to feel loved so he’ll tell you it every night before you both go to sleep.

Marriage. do they want to get married? how long do they have to be in the relationship beforehand?

yes he wants too 100%. kira would rather find someone who’s willing to be a stay at home wife, if you decide not to be one then he doesn’t mind. there’s not a specific time for him to want to get married, it’s mainly when “the time is right” (about 3-5 years).

kira likes to call you sweet things such as dear, darling, my love, things like that. he absolutely loves it when you call him those as well.

due to his quiet and reserved nature it takes a little while. probably around 6 months to actually start talking about himself, this is when you guys start dating. he tells you simple things like what kind of food he likes, favorite movies, etc. but never about his childhood, so it’s like you don’t really know him.

he doesn’t like it. the only time you’ll receive some sort of pda is in a secluded area, even then the only thing you’ll get is him holding your hand. it’s not you that makes him this way, it’s the thought of someone seeing you both and starting rumors that could potentially ruin his quiet life at work. besides it’s none of their business anyways.

Quality time. what do they like to do for quality time with their s/o?

definitely cooking and cleaning. he likes to turn on the mori-cho radio while you both cook and even pause for breaks for a little dance. sitting in silence while he reads a book as your head is on his lap works for him too.

the only time kira is away from you is when he’s at work, but even being at work can be a pain. he would cope by thinking of driving home and opening the door to meet your greeting and hands. his dinner would be prepared and you guys would have a nice conversation like usual, oh how he couldn’t wait to be home and away from all these people.

kira prefers a routine so he’s not one to try anything new. if something special is coming up he might take you somewhere expensive. however, if you do want to try something new he will think about it.

diavolo sighed…he knows he needs to confess his feelings sooner or later, but the fear of rejection and the weight of his criminal life held him back. he couldn't bear the thought of endangering you or exposing his vulnerabilities. so for now, he will continue to do what he has been previously doing, just a little more…obvious.

like before, you would be the one to say it first. jotaro prefers to say it during special moments since he’s not the type to show affection. he doesn’t say i love you a lot but his actions reassure you that he does.

this could be a 50/50, it depends on what’s happening. since he is a joestar enemy stand users are bound to attack him and he doesn’t want to put you in that loop. so maybe not and you continue just being partners, or he decides that the enemies have lessened and proposes. in order for you guys to get married you need to be together for at least 4 years. if he’s going to marry someone he needs to find the right one and make sure he can fully trust them.

he does not give you any nicknames sadly :( the most you’re going to get is ‘brat’. he does find it annoying when you call him something but not to the point where it angers him.

it takes jotaro a very long time to trust someone. so for him to open up to you means your are incredibly important (you are). it will take him around a year to finally say some things about himself. he will slowly reveal more of his interests and such as the years go by.

no and none.

Quality time. what do they like to do for quality time with their s/o?

quality time is rare for both of you. so during moments like these you try to make the most out of them. he would take you to the beach, not just because he loves the marine life, but rather because it’s a calming place where you both can be alone. even if he doesn’t speak, it’s nice to be in each other’s presence enjoying a comfortable silence.

the joestars and their friends where such a headache, but you where quite different. oh how much he hated you. you where mearly a pest, an annoying fly that would come back when you would shoo it away, a cockroach that seemed to always live no matter how many times you try to kill it. just what where you doing with his enemies? he almost felt sorry that he will have to kill you as well. dio has felt like this for a long time, until he got the chance to take a good look at you, a certain someone has managed to sneak a picture while you weren’t looking.

you seemed rather pretty a nice figure with beautiful e/c orbs that glistened in the sunlight, your eyes were half lidded as a gentle smile appeared on your face. you seemed to be at peace and just enjoying your surroundings. your skin looked so soft and your h/c hair seemed to be greatly taken care of. dio would be lying if he said you didn’t look gorgeous.

what made you even better was when he heard that you and the joestars managed to defeat some of his servants. it was rather impressive and he wonders what kind of stand you possessed, but he knows it is no match for ‘the world’. the thought of him standing above you while you bled out in front of him was rather….arousing. how interesting, dio has never had thoughts like this before.

a week has passed and these thoughts had only gotten worse. he needed to get rid of them, he needed to do something, he needed you. everytime he saw you whether it be a picture or in the middle of the night, his heart skipped a beat. it was rather obvious dio has fallen in love with you. but this wasn’t your normal kind of love, he was obsessed.

how funny, someone as charming and powerful as him has fallen in love with a mere human as you. of course there where others that where strong too but they where nowhere near him, that’s another reason why he needed you by his side, was to protect you.

usually you would see a car or two pass by, not even a cricket was making a sound. but once again with a fanfic cliche, that was before everything went black.

you woke up feeling dizzy, your vision blurry and your head hurts…almost like something has hit you from there. wait where were you? you looked around only to find that the room was rather dark. the only source of light would be from the candles that hung around the room. you seemed to be lying on a king sized bed, there where even bookshelves around the walls. trying to comprehend what just happened you tried to get up only to be stopped by ankle cuffs.

“ i see that you are finally awake ” a voice says near you.

you looked by the door and see a rather tall man, with beautiful golden hair as his ruby red eyes stared into yours. you wanted to scream.

‘ what was happening? who is he? where is kakyoin and everyone else? ’

you tried to call out your stand only to find yourself being chocked the next second, feeling his long pointy nails gripping your neck.

‘ what the hell? ’ how was he suddenly in front of you?

“ i would normally kill someone such as yourself right now, but i am willing to spare you, so let us make a deal, hmm? ” the man’s smooth silky voice said in your ear.

“ you will do as i say and in return i will guarantee your safety, you mustn’t worry about jotaro or your friends i can assure you that they are perfectly fine. ”

struggling to breathe you managed to do a slight nod, he smirked in satisfaction and let you go.

“ one of my servants has prepared you new clothes, you will find them on the table stand next to you, i will see you soon love ” and with that he was gone.

many questions popped up in your head. ‘why would he call me love?? what did he know about jotaro? was he a friend of his?’

no that couldn’t be, it’s obvious he’s much more than that. ‘was he actually safe?’ but for now you can only hope that what the man said was true.

minutes turned into hours, hours turned into days, days turned into weeks…just how long have you been here? you often wonder if you will ever escape always hoping that someone would just bust in and help you break free. but you learned that will never happen, being stuck here made you learn a lot of things.

you learned to always obey the man that kept you imprisoned in this mansion, dio. only talk when spoken too, stay by his side at all times unless told not too, be his perfect little pet. you hated being called that, it was like the woman y/n no longer existed and is now an obedient play toy. there where a few times where you almost escaped, so close to reaching that door of freedom but of course vanilla ice was there to stop you.

you screamed and thrashed to get out of his grip, only to be pushed in front of someone. carefully pulling yourself up, you slowly look up…recognizing the shoes of the man who put you here in the first place. dio let out a sigh. after all this time have you not learned anything? did you not see that everything he did was for you?

he was there to protect you and give you all your needs. he spared your life so you didn’t end up like the women he had previously eaten. he wouldn’t dare waste such a beauty like you, there may be times where he needed to give you a little….lesson…but it was out of love. dio excused vanilla ice and you would soon find yourself laying on a bed. no this couldn’t be happening…surely he’s not going to do what you think he is doing, is he?

the closer he got the more you wanted to scream, but you knew better. dio leaned down in front of you slowly rubbing his cold hands against your body, “ you know you really are so beautiful, “ he started, “ you truly are a precious gem, a beauty only one can be described as a goddess…but you know that beauty only lastes for so long, it slowly looses it’s spark, getting old, and eventually dies….you however….”

dio paused as he takes his left hand to reach something , “ i don’t want to ever lose you, you are mine and i wish to spend eternity with my darling. ”

a smile crept up his face as he brought something towards your cheek, but his smile seemed off, before you could say anything you felt immense pain. all you could see was a red liquid and feel the warmness of your blood dripping down your face. was…this…a mask?

he did it…dio finally did what he’s been waiting for, after all this time you would finally be with him forever. tears started to form in your eyes, this couldn’t be happening, this isn’t what you wanted. you wanted to live a normal life and grow old with the ones you loved, not this monster. all your hopes and dreams slowly faded away as you felt your nails grow longer, your skin drained of color and your precious e/c eyes turned a dark red.

“ doesn’t this look nice my love ” dio said as he fixed your dress.

you where standing in front of a mirror, the same mirror that you use to get dressed like the many nights before. it was now dinner time, and you would walk with dio to the dining room.

“ of course it does dear ” you said as you forced a smile.

dio hummed in satisfaction, slowly wrapping his arms around your waist. it seemed you two where just standing in silence for a few minutes, just enjoying each other’s presence. before you could break the silence he lays his head on your shoulder.

“ i love you y/n ”, he whispered.

you tensed up, dio knew you hated responding, this was like a game to him, taunting you knowing you have no choice but to say it back. taking a short breath you once again reply,

“ i love you too “.

dio lifts up his head and turns you around, bringing a finger to your chin as he forces you to look up at him. he stares at you for a moment before slowly closing his eyes and leans in, you know what he wants, this was part of your little routine, so you know you have to do the same. the kiss lasted a little longer than usual, he must be feeling like that tonight, how disgusting.

before things go any farther he stops and suddenly walks away. of course, he didn’t see you as nothing more than a toy, only someone to cure his boredom. or was he simply teasing you knowing you’ll want more later?

you sighed as you look in the mirror once again. taking a good look at yourself, hair nicely done, nails freshly painted, and a beautiful (color) dress that stopped just before your knees…just how dio likes it.

this was your life now, obeying dio and giving him whatever he wishes. he always claims to love you but his definition of love was clearly different than what you know. he was so protective of you, no other man dared to look at you, even if you weren’t with him. if anything was bothering you he would get rid of it within seconds. if you needed anything, you would have it in your room the next day.

a new pair of clothes? already in your closet. need something else to spice up your skin care routine? you’ll find it by the bathroom sink. not feeling like yourself? you will find a plate of your favorite food and a bath that is ready for you. you once asked him if he had anything to do with it, he just let out a “tch” and denied it, it was an obvious lie.

it was strange to say but it was somewhat attractive. where you falling for him? you have to admit dio was not an average looking man. he was very handsome and a body some people would kill for. any woman would be blessed to have a husband like him.

…what?

did you just say husband? are you really falling for your kidnapper?….where you experiencing stockholm syndrome?

no. you would surely never fall for someone like that. this was simply your mind playing tricks on you.

deciding that you wasted enough time you start to walk towards the door. walking in a “lady” manner with your back straight and chin up, something dio has “trained” you to do. you soon reach the doors of the dining room knowing he was waiting on the other side.

perhaps things would be different if you weren’t stubborn and just accepted kakyoin’s offer, or just sucked it up and ate the dissatisfying food. how funny that something as simple as food led you into this curse.

as you start to open the door, you could only wonder what the future will hold.

→˚₊· after all there wasn’t a lot of times where you two could hang out like this

→˚₊· because his hair was so short you didn’t have a lot of options

→˚₊· while you worked on styling it he sat perfectly still

→˚₊· his hair was so shiny and soft

→˚₊· when you were finished he looked in the mirror and smiled at you

→˚₊· he loves it and asked if you would like him to style your hair

→˚₊· if you say yes then he happily puts it in any style you want

→˚₊· but being a capo meant his free time was limited

→˚₊· he had to leave for business reasons but not before he gives you a hug and a quick kiss on the forehead
