Dating Bucky Barnes Would Include….

- him noticing you before you noticed him

- he would probably ask Steve about you first in what he thinks in a quiet manner

- Steve sniffing the bs and pulling some strings to make sure you are around him a lot more then usual

- Steve also pretending he needs your help with something and introducing you to Bucky

- Bucky definitely goes to bed thinking about you when he’s not with you

- Smiling to himself whenever he recalls a conversation you two had, even if it was something as simple as how cold the room was or a movie you saw recently

- him just happy to be near you, taking any chance to be by your side when it comes

- he’s quite overprotective but he tries not to show it

- whenever Steve or Sam point it out he will deny it and find some justification regarding your safety

- he also gets a little jealous, but mostly keeps it to himself.

- the king of respect & consent

- totally old school

- will buy you flowers “just because”

- opening any doors around you even with only one arm

- sweet compliments 24/7

- he will force you to dance with him in the kitchen at random hours of the day

- trying to get him to adjust to the new world

- he’s also your unofficial protector

- he will protect you from things you didn’t even know you needed protecting from

- also, gifting you a kitty on your anniversary

- he wanted to give you something meaningful and he knew how much you loved Alpine and it was a good start at a little family

- he would make sure you both were ready for another kitty though

- sometimes you guys would have sleepless nights, when he wakes up from a nightmare and you guys binge watch a TV show or movie series

- you end up tapping out first of course and falling asleep on his chest to the background noise of the tv

- Bucky refuses to fight with you

- he’s a very understanding person, so it’s very very rare for you guys to argue or fight seriously over something bigger then where to eat, or who forgot to take out the trash

- he is low key a simp and would soon apologize for whatever it was that made you upset and would just want to be done fighting

- he doesn’t like it when you’re mad at him especially after Steve leaving him you are all he has

- aside from Sam & Alpine of course

(IDC ALPINE SHOULDVE MADE THE MOVIES FIGHT ME ON IT 😁)

- Having to reassure him from time to time that he isn’t a bad guy and never was

- but sometimes all you can do is just hug him

- he has his good days and bad days though

- he can actually be pretty playful when it’s just you two

- him totally using his arm to his advantage when tickling you/play fighting

- one time you grabbed his metal wrist and wrapped your legs around him arm as an attempt to get him to stop tickling you

- he just lifted his entire arm up and watched you dangle in the air

- and then proceeded to tickle you with you with his free hand

- his arm hanging over the couch of course so when you fall you’ll be safe

- you make him love his arm more and feel better about it

- showers together, pretty much 100% of the time

- he can be very domestic, but if we are being honest he can’t cook

- but he makes up for it by doing other things or ordering food instead if you don’t feel like cooking

- he’s very gentle and attentive

- Bucky notices the little things and sometimes beats you to it, like a little task you needed to do or grabbing something like your purse or wallet for you

Flashing Light

Them comforting you during a storm

The bang and clap of thunder is what stirred him from his sleep but it didn't fully wake him what did was the small whimper that left you when a lightning hit close by causing the hall light to flicker.

He would wrap his arms around you pulling into your chest, he'd pull the blankets tightly around you as you held onto him with fear, his chest vibrating as he softly hummed your favorite song.

Your body would shake with each flicker and clap of lightning and he would tighten his hold on you and bringing you further into him if possible, his eyes staring into the darkness as he leaned his chin onto your head.

He wouldn't try to move to much he knows that he should just stay still and be there to comfort you, if the lightning got closer and louder he slowly move his hands to press them over your ears as he pressed his forehead to yours.

When the storm finally passed and your shaking figure finally calmed down he would stay awake for a few more hours coming up with a way he could sound proof the place or have something you could wear so it wouldn't bother you further.

A/n: thank you for the request. This is my first request for the MCU Fandom, hope you enjoy.

Being the daughter of Captain America and Black Widow is blessing a curse... I'll tell you why.

But first if your the daughter of them I could imagine you having Steve's kind heart and Natasha's temper. Your Godfather Tony always got a kick out of a tiny you getting all angry. And his laughter would only get heavier if you came and started punching his leg for laughing.

Tony would definitely be a second father. He's wanted to be different from his father so he will always show you the love and affection his father didn't show him.

You don't like hearing about Peggy. I think it's because she was almost your dad's love. Natasha never had a problem with hearing Steve talk about her but the woman always left you frustrated just by the sound of her name... You'd never tell your dad this though.

Anyway, being around all theses heros obviously inspired your choice of future work, this scares not only your parents but the whole team.

Sure your mother would teach you how to shoot or Tony will teach you how to build a robot but they all fear the day you'll actually have to use those skills.

Your other Godfather Bucky seems to be the only one with peace about this suprisenly. If you told him you want to be a superhero he'll grien and listen to your reasoning.

There's been times where he'll put toy boxing gloves on your hands and teach you how to punch. Natasha put a stop to it quickly though. One day he was setting on his knees so he was your hight and you kept punching his flesh hand. He wouldn't let you hit his metal hand in fear you'll hurt your self.

Sam would always tease that you have Bucky wrapped around your little finger.

Bucky and Tony always compete to see who can be the coolest Godfather. If one gets you a cool Lego set or dollhouse the other one will get the bigger version. You love Elvis Presley at the time Tony will take you right to Graceland. You want to go you a waterpark Bucky will have you there in a flash before Tony can have the chance.

A down side is you learned how to be independent with your Hero Family. It's not a bad thing and they don't do it intentionally but there's many times you spent at the compound with Pepper and Happy.

But your mom and dad always make it up to you. I wouldn't say your spoiled, but if you ask one of your godfathers nicely(with puppy eyes) you usually get it.

But another down side of being a part of this family is them being extremely over protective. There's been many times you couldn't do something or had to stay indoors for long periods of time because someone was plotting your father's death.

If you do go somewhere one of them is with you. If you want to go to a zoo trip for school one of them is with you. You want to check the mailbox Sam is flying around watching you. And don't even think about going to friends house for a slumber party. Steve and Nat aren't trying to be strick or anything they just always have this sicking feeling something will happen.

On a more positive note... You always have the best time with them. To be honest you never worried about having friends because you had them. You of course have friends your age but you consider the Avengers your Best Friends. Speaking of which Cassie Lang is probably your Best Friend.

Which means the first sleepover you ever had was with Cassie. Since you technically would be with an Avenger it was okay. Tony thought it was dumb to leave you alone with "Thumbelina" but Steve trusts Scott and Nat trusts Hope.

Speaking of which play time is always token to the extreme. You want a nerf gun war, the whole team is involved. You want to build a Lego thing, tony will buy the biggest one. Blanket fort? You don't have to ask Clint and Scott twise.

I think you'll always try and lift Thor's hammer. You've tried but couldn't so one time Thor lifted it with you so you could have the experience.

You love it when Bruce reads to you. If you come up to him with a book he'll drop everything and read to you. It's the only thing that will make him leave the lab immediately. It's calming to him and he always uses different funny voices to make you laugh.

I won't tell anyone but once you got older you had a small crush on Peitro, which didn't set well with most of the men in the compound when Cassie acdently let the cat out of the bag. You've never saw the ironman suit appear so quickly..

I think once you got older the over protectiveness got old. You found it annoying a frustrating at times but in the end you're greatful that you have a group of people that care about you so much.

Be patient with them. They love you and trust you, they just don't trust other people.

Since you can't be on the flighting field you went to medical school and with everyones help(especially from Bruce and Tony) you were able to graduate with a trauma certification and now you work with Dr. Cho in the med bay.

You always hate seeing them beat up from missions but you also love helping Them and other people.

I don't think you and Peter would get along. I don't know why, I just do. I think at one point they tried to get you to go on a date with him but it never happened.

For a little bit I think you had a jealously thing going on and didn't like how close Peter was getting to Tony. Your Godfather noticed this and told you that you'll always be his number one.

Speaking of Starks, your literally the best big sister to Morgan. You two are basically two peas in a pod. And don't even think about messing with her because you will through hands to anyone who's rude to her.

Your basically to her what Tony was to you.

When you get older you do become an Avenger and the elders got over it. You proved you can survive and they couldn't be more proud of you.

This is your family and you couldn't be more thank full. There may have been bumbs mountains along the the way but they'll always be family. And that's forever.

Eventually you could convince him that you need the physical intimacy

He’d start off with hand holding

If he has nightmares he always looks for you

One too many times have you gotten up to pee or get water in the middle of the night and you come back to Bucky frantically looking for you in bed.

It’s sad but it’s sweet in a way.

If you’re in public for too long, the second you get home he pulls you into a hug.

He doesn’t care if there’s ice cream on the counter that melting, he just wants to hug you for a few more seconds…. or minutes…

He hates when you’re mad at him

But if you’re angry enough that you want to sleep on the couch, or want him to, he’ll beg you not to (or to not make him)

He hates sleeping without you

It’s hard enough on missions

Don’t make him do it at home too!

In the end Bucky just loves holding his lover, no matter what.

me, very impassioned: it’s important that friendships in media are allowed to be friendships!! That platonic devotion is portrayed and respected in media!!! Marvel Preferences - With A Gamer GF

Bucky - Bucky is a bit of a classic gamer. He can handle an arcade game like no one you’ve ever seen. When you introduce him to the world of at home gaming he is very intrigued. The first few times you show him he simply sits back and watches happily. He enjoys seeing you in your element. Later he asks if he can try. You gladly give up the controller, watching him pick up the game like a fish to water. He’s so good at it. However, he still prefers the classics. So after that he’d rather just sit and watch and go to the arcade from time to time.

Loki - At first Loki finds your games quite silly. When he sees you playing and you explain to him what you’re doing he would turn his nose up a bit. “Games are for children.” He comments absentmindedly before leaving the room. However he couldn’t help but watch one night and what he saw really impressed him. You moved through the levels with such ease and comfortability that he couldn’t help but stay to watch. After that night, he was hooked. He never wants to play with you but he’s become quite fond of watching. He even praises you often when you beat a level or achieve a task.

Tony - Tony is a bit of a gamer himself. Not nearly as in depth as you but he knows his way around a controller. He used to love first person shooters. He was actually quite good at them too. However, after what happened in New York he’s been a bit skittish around the more violent games. It feels too immersive sometimes. That’s when you introduce him to some cozier games. He finds that he enjoys gaming much more when there’s not so much pressure. He really likes Minecraft. He could sit there and build with you for hours. The two of you now have a standing Minecraft date every Friday night.

Steve - Steve is super confused by your games at first. When he sees the high definition graphics and the complex set of tasks he’s kind of blown away, commenting how impressive it is that you can keep track of everything. Wanting to immerse him in your favorite pastime you try to warm him up to playing with you. The first time he actually gets a bit frustrated when he can’t figure it out. However, pretty soon he picks it up and plays with you from time to time. Now you switch off between watching and playing, finding it a delightful way to spend time together. Although he doesn’t admit it, he’d much rather just watch you play rather than picking up a controller for himself.

Frank - Frank is actually a big gamer himself. He loves to relax on the couch at the end of a tough week and mindlessly play a violent video game. It wasn’t until he met you that he discovered other types of games. He’s warmed up to other genres although his favorite is still the classic first person shooters. The two of you always find time to curl up together and play a game. He’s very lovey when you’re playing together. He’ll usually have you situated between his legs, wrapping his arms around your waist as he maneuvers the controller. It’s his favorite when you play shooter games with him. There’s something about seeing you so expertly handle a gun in game that just does something to him. He loves gaming even more after meeting you. Something about that time together is very special to him.

Stephen - Stephen does not game. He finds the whole notion kind of below him. He would never deny you something that made you happy though. So he does try. There have been a handful of occasions where he’s sat and watched you play although in all instances he ended up falling asleep on the couch. There have also been a handful of times when you’ve both played together. He indulges you just because he loves you so much but it’s not something that happens very often. When it does he usually quits within an hour, finding some excuse to be done early. He’d much rather just leave you to yourself when you’re gaming, letting you do what makes you happy without any kind of interruption.

Vision - Vision is naturally a whiz at games. It’s not his favorite hobby but there are definitely times when he is in the mood to game with you. He likes puzzle games the best. Anything that engages the mind. He loves watching you work out the complex rules and steps in order to win. Your intelligence is incredibly attractive to him so seeing your beautiful sexy brain in action is absolutely peak for him. Although for him, a good majority of the games you play are somewhat boring to him since he finds them so simple. His favorite moments are when he is cooking dinner and can watch you playing your game from the kitchen as he works. It’s the perfect amount of stimulation and entertainment for him. He’d much rather do that.

Druig - Druig does like to game with you. He gets very competitive when he does though. Part of you loves it and part of you hates it. It doesn’t matter what the game is, he can always find a way to make a competition out of it. If you’re playing a first person shooter, he’ll bet you he can kill more bad guys than you. If it’s a puzzle game, he guarantees he can solve the puzzle faster than you. If it’s a farming game, he’s sure that he’ll grow more crops than you do. It’s all in a joking spirit though. He never actually means to compete with you. He just finds your huffy little reactions quite entertaining. It’s especially fun when you get into the spirit of it with him, trying to beat him at whatever challenge he’s given you at that moment.

Dane - Dane is really bad at games but he’s got the spirit. It’s always so delightful when you watch him playing a game. It’s never frustrating or hindering. You just patiently guide him through the tasks, watching intently as he completes them one at a time. You find that farming games are really good to play with him. He’s better at those than any other kind of game. You just give him one task at a time. As he completes a task he’ll happily ask what he can do next. It’s kind of funny sometimes but you would never tell Dane how bad he is. You just keep letting him think he’s a game whiz and enjoying his company as the two of you play together. It’s also nice when he scoots close by your side and links arms with you as you play.

Bucky's gaze snap to yours, and his face hardens into that familiar stony, constipated gaze he makes when he's confused. You can almost hear the confused, Huh? before he says it, and you lean against your arm that's resting on the counter.

"I mean, you kept the stubble and all, but you removed the centerpiece of it all." With your other hand you gesture to his head, finally clueing him into what you mean. His fingers brush against the freshly buzzed sides instinctively.

"The long hair?" He clarifies, stony melting into mirth at your nod. "You're a little weirdo." He returns to scooping out batter from the bowl he's holding, dribbling it onto the pan in forming a steady circle. Walking over, you nudge his shoulder to make sure he doesn't pour too much.

"Yeah whatever, but you know, we were actually making progress with the hair treatment." A pout makes its way to your face, causing the edges of his own lips to turn down. But you meet his gaze when you feel cool metal lightly grasp your palm and lift it to the side of his head. It accomplishes his goal of making you smile as you rub the fuzzy texture.

"Well, I guess this ain't so bad either." Using the new leverage, you bring his face own to meet your lips, gaining you a smile from him as well.

"Now don't burn my pancakes, Barnes." He gives a mock salute, only to scramble for the spatula because of the excessive amount of bubbles forming in the cooking batter.

Yeah, you could get used to the new look.
