Small reminder
Sometimes you need a day off. Sometimes you need to fail at something to know how to improve yourself.
Sometimes you need to put yourself first.
Sometimes you need to hit rock bottom to rise.
Sometimes you need to cry to get it off your chest.
Sometimes you need to let go.
But
You ALWAYS need to fight.
You ALWAYS need to be true to yourself.
You ALWAYS need to take care of yourself.
You ALWAYS need to listen to your body and your heart.
You ALWAYS need to try to improve.
You ALWAYS need to plan for a brighter future.
You ALWAYS need to be kind to yourself and to other.
You ALWAYS need to stay away of things and people that harm you.
Drink some water, listen to your favorite song and fall asleep with the conscience that someday life will be better and that you are going to fight for it.

I am so greatful for this
Study tips when mentally ill.
1. There will be days when you will feel like dropping out and walking out into the middle of nowhere (see also: staying in bed all day every day). Here’s the thing. Nowadays there’s a lot of pressure to have it all by a young age. But if you’ve got to leave to take some time off it’s okay. It’s okay. On the other hand, it’s important to recognise whether you can work through this or whether you need more support. Sometimes this decision will not be yours to make, that’s okay too.
2. Education will always be waiting if you need to take some time.
3. Here’s another thing. Cramming can trigger stress which can trigger more emotional distress. So start little bits earlier. I mean near enough the beginning of the year, little bits at a time each week. Small steps. Try and make notes as you go along. This could prevent huge blow outs before exams.
4. If that doesn’t work out, find someone who takes notes. Ask if you can borrow them, or take pictures of theirs and use them to compensate for the lack of your own.
5. Studyblrs are pretty to look at. No your notes aren’t worth less if they don’t look like that. You want to write everything in black ink? Go for it. Pencil? You do what works for you.
6. Education is hard, intensified by the battles you fight. You can’t measure your success with someone not facing the same challenges. No one is running the same race. Someone got full marks? Good for them. You got out of bed and sat the exam? I’m proud of you. Recognise your achievements. It’s okay if the goal posts change. They’re allowed to. Keep challenging yourself (in a healthy way)
7. Support system support system. I know it isn’t possible for everyone but speak to your tutors. Let them know what’s going on, ask for extensions if you need them and find out what help they can give you. They want you to do well even if it doesn’t always feel like it.
8. Have a plan in place in case things get messy and fall apart. Then try to follow it.
9. Your education does not have to involve clubs and alcohol if it isn’t your thing. If you’d rather curl up in front of Netflix then do it. Don’t let anyone make you feel lesser for doing so.
