The MonsterVerse Timeline, Part 1: 40's, 50's and 60's.....
Well, since the new MV movie is coming out at the end of this month, I figured it's time to go through the years in this particular movie universe from start to finish.....
1940's: The Beginning...
1943
A battleship called the USS Lawton is sunk by something out in the Pacific Ocean. There's one survivor, William(Bill)Randa, who says a creature sunk it, but no one believes him...
1944
Pilots Marlowe and Gunpei crashland after a dogfight, but soon realize they must work together as they learn that they're on a monster infested island after encountering a massive gorilla.
We'll come back to these 2 later, so let's check on Randa.....
1950's and 1960's: Godzilla Awakens and Monarch Begins....
1952
During an investigation in the Philippines, military man Shaw and scientist Keiko run into Randa. The trio encounter the Ion Dragon in what remains of the Lawton and they decide to work together after surviving the incident.
1954 to 1955
The USS Nautilus, the first nuclear submarine, dives deep enough that it awakens something that leaves a massive footprint that sees the military get involved with Shaw, Keiko and Randa.
The military invite them to an island where they decide to use a nuke to lure it so the trio want to study the creature.
The creature in question? Godzilla...
The island? Bikini Atoll....
The trio finds out too late that the army wants the creature dead and Godzilla appears to die in the resulting blast....
The following year, Godzilla turns up completely unharmed near Japan on Monster Island(there's no monsters on it). The trio try to keep it secret but eventually tell the government to secure their ongoing funds and Randa theorizes about the Hollow Earth Portals...
1959
They soon come across a possible portal to the Hollow Earth in Kazakhstan but are attacked by bug like creatures and Keiko dies in the process leaving Randa to adopt her son, Hiro as a result.
1962
Operation Hourglass begins as Randa and Shaw attempt to go to the Hollow Earth, but it all goes wrong when the portal shuts just as Shaw goes through. Shaw survives, but the two crew members die: one dies upon landing while the other is eaten by a monster.
Shaw spends a week fighting until a portal sends him back to Earth, more specifically a forest.....
Next time, we'll go back to check on Marlowe and Gunpei as well as see Randa one final time....

Godzilla Minus One Recap/Review......
Okay, I was waiting until the theater run was over so now I'm jumping on this!
We begin on Odo Island where a kamikaze pilot lands his plane due to a malfunction. Koichi is the name of the pilot and as the head mechanic, Tachibana, figures out, he's trying to duck fighting as it's 1945 and Japan has pretty much lost at this point. Later that night an alert is sounded which is revealed to be a 15 foot tall dinosaur the locals call Godzilla...
They try to fight it but Koichi chickens out and one of Tachibana's friends fire on the creature out of fear which results in Godzilla killing everyone but the former two who get sent home the next morning. Over the next 2 years, Koichi winds up finding family in the form of Noriko and Akiko, a woman and a child who lost their families in the bombings, and friends in the crew of a minesweeper boat, Kenji, Shiro and Yoji.
But he's not the only one who's changed.....
Remember Godzilla?
Well, in the summer of 1946, a hunting ground he was at was the testing site for Baker....as in one of the bombs for Operation Crossroads....he's caught in said blast and undergoes a mutation that turns him into something powerful and also enrages him beyond belief.....
From July of that year to May of the next year he attacks the American warships stationed there and starts heading for Japan.
Plus, the Cold War is about to start, so the Americans can't get involved because the Soviets would be suspicious.
Koichi and co encounter Godzilla and just barely survive, but the Takeo, a Japanese heavy cruiser, is blown to bits by him. After waking up on the mainland, he learns that the Japanese government is not gonna warn everyone about the 164 foot tall mutant dinosaur that's on it's way because they don't want a panic on their hands. The next day Godzilla makes landfall at Ginza and devastates the city and Koichi is the sole survivor because he went there to save Noriko but she gave her life to save him from the shockwave of Godzilla's heat ray blast.
Koichi, along with every other citizen in Japan, decide to come up with a plan to kill Godzilla using explosive decompression. They even get Tachibana to help and the plan almost fails but with a fleet of tugboats they wound Godzilla heavily and Koichi finishes him off with a kamikaze attack that results in Godzilla losing the top half of his head and his body disintegrates. Luckily, Koichi not only ejects from the plane before it hits but visits Noriko at the hospital as she had survived so happy endings all around!
Except for the black growth on Noriko's neck that's moving......
Plus, there's a left over chunk of Godzilla that is shown to be regenerating, so he'll be back......
Guess that's more bittersweet then, huh?
Still, great movie! So we are most likely getting a sequel but we've also got Godzilla X Kong coming out next year so the big guy is as popular as he's ever been!
Plus, to me, this movie is the 4th Godzilla movie by Toho released in the USA(Godzilla 1985, Godzilla 2000, Shin Godzilla and now Godzilla Minus One).

The HellaVerse.....
Yeah, I figured I might as well get on this before the show hits Amazon in January....
For those who don't know what the title means it's a shared universe set in Hell that centers on 2 protagonists: Charlie Morningstar and Blitz the Imp.
Charlie runs a hotel that's basically a rehab center in order to redeem Sinners and stop the yearly cleansing that claims the lives of Sinners and demons alike.
Meanwhile, Blitz runs an assassination service along with 2 other imps and a hellhound as they get hired by Sinners to kill the person that killed them when they were still alive.
Those are also the plots for the shows they star in: Hazbin Hotel is about Charlie and Helluva Boss is about Blitz. Though Helluva has been running since 2019 with about 15 episodes under its belt , Hazbin is about to debut in January.
They also have different functions in terms of story: Hazbin is set in the Pride Ring and features the Sinners and Overlords that run it along with Charlie trying to save her home and people. Helluva features the demons and the other rings of Hell and over the 15 episodes we've visited Greed 4 times, Wrath we've seen 2 times, Lust we've seen twice and saw Gluttony and Sloth once. Hell, we visit the human world a few times too!
The reason I'm not talking more about the story for Helluva is because the 15 episodes are available on YouTube for free and if you're wondering, no, Helluva isn't majorly connected to Hazbin.
Let me put it like this:
Hazbin Hotel is like the MCU/JGDCU/Monsterverse of the universe where the major things happen...
Helluva Boss is the Defenders/Peacemaker/Disney+ Marvel Shows which are set in the universe but are more personal...

Captain Laserhawk Review.....
Ok, first up is this pretty cool show on Netflix. I'm not going to spoil anything cause this is one of the shows you should go into blind......
I am going to talk about the main trio of the show(mostly due to the fact that a day before the show aired 3 posters spotlight them)....
Dolph Laserhawk
The star of the show and he represents the Blood Dragon world which is a spin-off of FarCry. He's a fugitive of Eden because he discovered their dark secrets....
Bullfrog
A frog who's a member of the Assassin Brotherhood and is essentially a french version of Ezio. He's the heart of the show and in the world's setting, a neutral party.
Rayman
He's been making a comeback and why most would watch the show. He's Eden's mascot and a celebrity and represents the world's state under Eden's rule..
Seriously, watch this show cause it's quite the ride and deserves a 2nd season! Oh, it also crosses over most of Ubisoft's gaming franchises.

My Adventures With Superman Season 2 Guesses.....
Hey, I've been busy with a lot of things, but first things first, I want to give my thoughts on what the next season of this show is gonna be like....
During the last episode of the 1st season, we learn that the trio are now reporters. Which means the second season could have them visiting various locations across the DC Universe:
An episode in Central City
An episode that involves Atlantis
An episode about a visitor from an island
A 2 parter set in Gotham
Seriously, there's plenty of stuff to use, plus the fact that everyone is designing how Bruce would look in the show(everyone has him looking like Wolfwood from Trigun)and the fact that they've been dropping references to all of the DC Universe, I wouldn't be surprised in the least!

My Adventures With Superman Thoughts.....
Hey, it's been a while. Honestly, I've just been busy but I did watch the new Superman cartoon(the first one since the 90s one). It's pretty good! I'm just gonna recap it before the second part of Zero Day airs tonight....
The series starts with Clark already in Metropolis and he works with Jimmy and Lois as all 3 of them are interns at the Daily Planet and have adventures together...
They introduce new turns on classic villains as well:
Doctor Ivo becomes Parasite by way of a high tech suit.
Livewire is a criminal instead of a unpleasant radio DJ.
Intergang isn't a crime ring but is instead made up of 3 teen thieves who aren't very good at it.
Heat Wave shows up and is a woman, but Heat Wave is a Flash villain but not a popular one and might become a Superman villain later....possibly Volcana.
Ivo has an assistant named Alex who's probably who we all think he is...
2 Doom Patrol villains appear but aren't villainous and portrayed as victims.
Even a certain 4th dimensional imp appears to cause trouble, but he looks different...
A character from Gotham appears but it's not Mr. Wayne.
Hell, Jimmy and Lois find out Clark's secret so it's doing lots of fun things. Like having Deathstroke(this guy usually is antagonistic towards the Teen Titans and Batman), Waller and Task Force X(Suicide Squad)be his enemies for this show!
I'll give my thoughts on the Zero Day 2 Parter after the conclusion airs tonight....

Reaction to Marvel's Spider-Man 2....
The story trailer for Insomniac's Spider-Man sequel has a ton going for it. To me, it's basically a greatest hits of Spider-Man's run during the 1980s.
That's not a bad thing because that decade gave Spider-Man a new foe that would become an antihero and gave one of his classic villains a dark send-off which stuck until the mid 2010's.
I'm talking about Kraven's Last Hunt, which is a popular story and the references can be seen at certain points in the trailer such as Miles fighting Kraven's men in a building teeming with animal heads on the walls. Hell, Kraven's motivation is to find prey worthy enough to fight him and boy, is he gonna get it. Lizard fills the role of Vermin as an animal themed character that gets mixed up in it.
I could go on and on, but there's also the fact that we might have 4 playstyles in the game....
I mean, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart we essentially played as 4 characters: Ratchet, Rivet, Clank and Kit. Who's to say that maybe Insomniac will surprise us?
All in all, the game is due out in October so it's festive for that time of year!
