The Dragon Boat Festival was on the 18th of June~! I was going to do some animation for a school but I suddenly became really busy so I ended up starting on this after the festival...  This was my first time animating pixel art, it was quite fun but the flag was an afterthought so I cheated that in AE with a turbulent displacement... for shame..

A mother’s loving :) _________________

Right, I decided to whip this up real quick for the loopdeloop competition as well but I spent another day changing the colours around to get to this! The initial one had her top as a dark purple with a dark green bg, my sister pointed out that it looked like the colours of jealously haha… so with her help, I changed around the colours a lot… all the black and white sketching with pen has made me realise how bad I am with colours~
