A Brace of Mallard Ducks - Kodachrome by 📷 Petri Varsa
A paired couple of mallard ducks swim in the Bow River in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Eventually, I will post a similar picture taken using Kodak Royal Gold 200 film for comparison. (I accidentally got my film uploads out of order.) I had two FTb camera bodies at the time, and it became my habit to load slide film in one, for art, and negative film in the other for snapshots. However, sometimes I took comparison shots like this. Although I really liked Kodak’s Royal Gold line of negative films, I think the Kodachrome shot has better colour. I guess that is not too surprising.
Check out an album containing more of my photos shot in 2002.
