Since Val is a moth, do you think he ever just...eats clothes? Like, if he's having a bad day and isn't in the mood to rip up models, he can be found sitting in the corner, angrily munching on one of Velvette's designer shirts while she rants and cusses and demands that Vox get up there NOW before fucking Valentino EATS her whole wardrobe!

So, mutual-pining Cherrisnake duet with Pentious singing in Heaven and Cherri singing in Hell when???

I've been having a thought because it would be a major angst fest if it happened, but it's also an issue that would realistically come up as the Hotel gets popular: What if Valentino, or someone like him, came to the Hotel claiming to want to be redeemed?
I mean, we know that someone like Val wouldn't actually want redemption and it would be a trick to get him into the Hotel, but what could Charlie realistically do without either going against the entire purpose of the Hotel or snatching away Angel's safe space? Remember, she let Alastor in despite knowing he didn't actually want to change and knowing he's a powerful Overlord with souls in his possession (two of whom are working at the Hotel by force). So turning away Val if he hypothetically showed up would put the HH under heavy scrutiny. Imagine demons finding out that Pentious got into Heaven, then spreading word that only Charlie's favorites are offered a chance to get out of Hell.
I wonder if Charlie has thought about what to do in this kind of scenario, because she's in Hell. Odds are that, if the Hotel gets popular, she'll end up having someone coming there who has badly hurt someone else who is either already there or who wants to be there. How would she handle a victim and an abuser both coming to the Hotel without either having to turn one away or forcing the victim to share a roof with someone they were trying to get away from?
I know she likely doesn't have a game plan. The Hotel was a shot in the dark to begin with and she was announcing it to Hell as a whole when Vaggie was the only employee and Angel Dust was only there for free room and board. I'd be interested to see how Charlie and the others would handle difficult logistics like this and what other challenges will come up in season 2.

With the final season of Beastars coming out, and Gosha's official appearance coming up (EEEEEEEEEE), I found myself looking back on his story, his relationship with Toki in particular. Spoilers below.
Toki's suicide is seen by a lot of the fandom as something that was a result of incredible stupidity. As someone who has suffered depression and suicidal thoughts, I can see another side to it. Generally, when someone is suicidal, it isn't because they want to die. It's because their life is something they feel incapable of continuing. It's because they don't see options that are without unbearable pain.
Toki was in a hopeless situation, even if there was happiness on the outside. The man she loved was someone she could never marry. She couldn't even kiss him without being immediately sprayed and wiped down afterward. There's also a chance that she was privately dealing with some postpartum issues after having Leano.
She loved Gosha. She didn't want to leave him. But she could never have the happy life she wanted to have. So, she gave herself the happiest day of her life and claimed that last "victory" by finally kissing him so she could die at the peak of joy rather than living the rest of her life in a state of wanting.
Note: I am absolutely NOT justifying what she did by saying this! After all, we the readers saw the aftermath: Gosha lost the woman he loved in the exact way he feared, leaving him traumatized and with a baby to raise all alone. Don't forget he was still 19-20 when this happened, so he was barely an adult when this all went down (as was Toki, adding another layer to her shortsightedness).
What Toki did was ultimately selfish and for no one's benefit but her own. It was a premeditated decision to end her life on the highest note she could, at the expense of her family. She specifically threw out all of Gosha's disinfectant before this happened, so this wasn't just a spur of the moment decision!
However, it was also a decision made by a woman who could never live her life to the fullest due to a combination of societal cruelty and nature itself.
I have both anger and sympathy for Toki as a result. There were other options. She could have lived a life with Gosha if she had been able to accept the sacrifices that would have been required. She could have been there for Leano and helped her through her anguish when her scales started appearing, perhaps even preventing her suicide later on. Life is always the better option, but sometimes it can be difficult or impossible for someone to see that.

It's been years since I've played SV in earnest, so I didn't really experience a lot of the earlier new content. I'm talking Ginger Island and the Shane and Emily romances were after my time. Like, I played a bit, but not a lot.
Onto the point... I wasn't sure initially if I was going to romance Shane or someone else. I did Sebastian in my OG file, so I wanted to do something different this time.
Well my boy has been sending me letter after letter with gifts of pizza he stole from the Joja backrooms and I think I'm in love, ya'll.

Saw the trailer for Beastars Final Season and I'm really curious to see where they go with this, because let's be honest: Paru kinda lost her way after the Murder Mystery Arc. While I absolutely loved the lore that was dropped during Legoshi's time stepping into the world of adulthood, there really wasn't a solid story until the Melon Arc, and that kinda fizzled and died by the end.
So far, the anime has done a good job of condensing and, in some cases, improving the source material, and they'll have to do a lot of that in order to make the last season a concise story with an actual ending.
(Also hoping certain things are changed utterly because holy fuck Louis deserved better than what he got!!!!)

You know, it hit me that Sir Pentious's redemption is going to rock Heaven in more ways than one. Besides the initial "Holy shit, redemption IS possible," what's gonna happen when the details of his death get out?
I mean, he was redeemed after sacrificing himself...in a battle AGAINST HEAVEN! He was killed while using his death ray AGAINST ADAM! That's what's really going to fuck up angels like Sera, who were convinced of Heaven's moral superiority.
I'm still interested to see exactly what determines whether redemption is possible, and why it only happened for the first time after Charlie visited Heaven. Are we dealing with a God who created the universe, then fucked off, only to turn around when something caught his attention?
And again, what will it mean going forward that a demon who stood up to an angel was the first to be risen to Heaven???

Jumped back into Stardew Valley for the first time in years. I actually haven't played a lot of the updates that happened, so getting to experience them along with the 1.6 is gonna be a blast! Now that I have a Steam Deck and can play it horizontal, it's even better! ^_^

So, I'm convinced that we'll see more of Heaven in season 2, and that there will be factions that are for or against extermination, redemption, etc.
And I know for a fact that those who are for redemption and anti extermination will absolutely adore Angel Dust! Like, I'm imagining him becoming the face of letting more sinners into Heaven! Every sympathetic angel who saw Angel being abused by Val will be absolutely feral about removing the obstacles keeping him from salvation. There will be souls in the streets with Angel's face on signs protesting the unfair treatment of Hell's people.
And when Angel finally gets there? He's gonna be the most loved newcomer Heaven has seen in ages! He'll arrive to find a whole legion of angels who have been actively rooting for him ever since they first learned of him! Emily will be so proud, Pentious will be ecstatic, and let's not forget the family reunion with Angel's mom and Molly!
What I'm saying is that Angel Dust's story resolution absolutely HAS to have him being validated and loved for the good soul he is and having everyone say how proud they are of him!

Cherri is ticklish, which Pentious learns when he's cuddling with her and starts talking, causing his tongue to flit against her neck, which sends her into a giggling fit. Of course, upon learning this, he frequently will hiss against her neck or stomach when they're in bed just to make her laugh.

Guys I'm imagining Razzle in season 2 becoming hyper-attached to Charlie, both because he's lonely without his brother and because he's scared of losing Charlie if he lets her out of his sight. And Charlie understands completely and makes a special bag that he can ride in when his wings get tired. Because she's also grieving Dazzle and doesn't want to let her last little dragon-goat out of her sight either.
I'm also imagining Fat Nuggets noticing Razzle's sadness when he's wandering around the Hotel. When Angel's at work, Nuggets starts hanging around Razzle, keeping him company and cuddling him if he starts to cry or have a panic attack.
Eventually, there comes a point where Charlie has to go somewhere without Razzle, and she tells him to be brave until she gets back. Nuggets doesn't leave his side for a moment.

My overall opinion on Goro Akechi. Spoilers below.
I like him as a character and as a villain, but I will never ship him with Joker or be able to see him as being an equal member of the Phantom Thieves.
The dude literally put a gun to Joker's head and pulled the trigger with a huge fucking smile on his face. He also killed an officer just to clean up any loose ends. He then framed Joker's death as a suicide, all while acting like some paragon of justice. The only reason it didn't work was because HE was outsmarted by the Phantom Thieves. He had every intention of making Joker DEAD!
And even after that, I was ready to have a "Cool motive, still murder" moment later, but I honestly didn't even feel that. Here's the thing: Akechi could have easily used the Metaverse to get his revenge on Shido WITHOUT becoming a fucking serial killer. He could have axed the bastard off or even tormented him a bit first, but no. Because he was so determined to get noticed and to play a long game that stroked his ego, he made the CHOICE to play with his prey. He wasn't manipulated into killing. He chose. He was old enough to know "murder is bad." There's only so much him being a teenager can excuse, okay?
He killed Wakaba. He left Futaba without a mother and in a state to be manipulated by Shido's goons into believing that she was somehow the cause of her mother's death.
He orphaned Haru. Yeah, her father was a piece of shit, but his death on live TV still scarred her badly, and it should have been HER choice whether to kill him or let him live.
He caused a train derailment that could have killed dozens of people.
Even in Shido's Palace, there is no doubt in my mind that he would have killed Joker and the others without a second thought if he had won that fight. His "heroic sacrifice" only came after he was utterly defeated.
Here's the thing though: He's a damn good villain and foil to Joker. I enjoy his character immensely. His obsession with Joker and the connection they share definitely evokes other fictional relationships like Sherlock and Moriarty and Batman and the Joker. I just will never see any of these pairings as healthy romances or even friendships.
I also loved how much of an edgelord he was in Royal. There was no begging for forgiveness or sudden redemption. Nope. He was just being an unhinged, bloodthirsty nutjob because he actually COULD act that way now that his mask has been removed, and I kinda loved that.
So yeah. Those are my two-cents on Akechi. He's an enjoyable character and villain, but I have no intention of ever seeing or writing him as anything but just that: a villain.

I want Emily to start cursing more and more as her association with Pentious, Charlie, and everyone continues, and I want to see Sera's absolute horror when she hears her "innocent little second in command" call someone a cocksucking motherfucker.

Not gonna lie, after the Palaces in P5, it's actually kinda refreshing to be grinding in a more classic, straightforward dungeon-crawler like Tartarus. Saved just before the first full moon. Looking forward to seeing what's about to happen!
