Jet Set Radio Future (a game that almost 100% of the population has never heard of) was my favorite game back in the day. You were a graffiti artist rollerblader who tore up a futuristic Tokyo with your rad skate moves. It was the coolest. Anyway here is some art I did, that I added accessories that would fit into the game. :) I also obviously had to add parallel universe elements.

A little caricature I did last weekend. Super stoked about how it came out, for the amount of time spent on it. From start to finish it took just over an hour. I’m a pretty slow worker and that’s definitely something I’ve been working on. So for this project, I would draw a line and then leave it. (Rather than redoing it until it was perfect). And the chin is a perfect example of how imperfection adds personality. The coloring is simple and just 3 blocks of color with very basic shading. I dig it.

Welp. Here I go. Again.

As a 27 year old, when I think of Tumblr... I think of me, a dozen lifetimes ago,  hunching over a desktop computer carefully choosing which Taking Back Sunday track I wanted as my new Myspace profile song. Flash forward- Here I am. It’s 2021, and I’m creating an account to post my art, thoughts and other creative shit ... *crosses out*... “endeavors”. (Can you curse on Tumblr?)  While I read up and remember how to use this platform, I’ll post a few recent drawings. The 15 year old me is excitedly screaming inside of my head with this fresh start.
