- I like that Ringo's closest to the police, so he sort of keeps an eye on them in case they might just grab him. (In all the other Beatle films he was the central character, it'd be very fitting if they just arrested Ringo and took him off. It would circle us back to hard day's night.)

- What's been nice for me watching the concert today is that my dog was trying to sleep after a very long walk. She's been really annoyed that I keep letting the beatles sing, and that I am 'overreacting' to them. She humphs at me and turns away and furrows eyebrows. She's my very own grumpy crowd member who thinks they're interfering with local business <3

- Oh Mal. Letting them down. Unplugging them like a traitor. BETRAYAL SO LATE IN THE GAME. They trusted you. They thought you loved them. Years together and now this.

- I love Paul and Ringo carrying on regardless, and John and George turning to glare. George turning themselves back on is pure bliss and makes up a good 60% of my love for him.

- In the control room listening back you get to see George Martin being all overcome by how wonderful they are again and it didn't make me cry so that's good.

- slkdjfowosoosoo. The almost child voice that George has when he says 'if we got the police we could pretend in the film that we had to get it down for them', he sounds so different, I love it. I love that people keep telling him that there's no plot for a film and he is making one in his serious voice.

I think the Beatles are cracking. You can't beat them. They're all out on their own. They've got a style of their own. And in my opinion, I think they're a lovely crowd. They've got good qualities. They sing well.

How at least as I understand it, they would come back wrong (tm), but were they ever right in the first place?

She is so complicated, rhere are so many aspects and motivations inside her to keep track of, and she beautifully stays true to the lore and themes of the game! Its so unique to have a villain companion! And you are so GRACIOUS plotting with us bastwrds who are too anxious to make the mean choices in video games. Last time, Gwen observed Logan's disastrous meeting with the other members of Destiny's Edge, then received a mysterious letter about ... apples.

So the letter was labeled "Apples for Sell" and was from "a friend" and apple gourmet who told her, "eating fresh fruit does a lot for the hearing. Why, an apple a day, and you can hear Whispers a mile away!"

The writer recommended a fruit seller in Lion's Arch and the postscript read, "Destroy this letter! I dunno, eat it or something. Get creative." <333333

Gwen followed the directions towards a narrow staircase, which initially prevented her from seeing the apple seller, though she could hear him calling out, "Apples! Apples for sale, come get a nice quiet apple!"

Side note: I love the suspense of this, since Tybalt's voice isn't quite so distinctively "Charr" as, say, Rytlock's, so I can imagine that Gwen didn't immediately realize she was dealing with a Charr at all. She's a typically proud, fierce, and resentful Ascalonian with a massive grudge against the Charr; her family lost everything fleeing them in the invasion of Ascalon, and she herself grew to adulthood in grinding poverty. I don't think it ever occurred to her that the Order would immediately place her under the authority of a Charr.

Of course, that's part of the test.

So, I imagine she climbed the stairs with a lot of curiosity and eagerness as the fruit seller kept calling out ("You know what would hit the spot right now? A juicy, red apple!"). Then, cautious as usual, she scanned the area until she saw a light-furred Charr surrounded by apple barrels, saying to passers-by, "Come buy an apple?"

I think Gwen would hardly believe her eyes at first, and went cold in that way you do when you are absolutely frozen with shock, her fingers actually tingling. But she's a quick-thinking trickster from the streets. It only lasted a moment, succeeded by quickly repressed nuclear rage. She put on a smile that, with some effort, doesn't bare all her teeth and walked up to the Charr fruit seller.

Gwen: :) [I'm going to fucking murder someone] :) :)

me seeing Tybalt for the first time in years: *sniffle* who is a perfect engineer who has DONE NOTHING WRONG IN HIS LIFE EVER. YOU.

Anyway, this immediately breaks into a cut scene that actually tells us, if not our character, who the "mysterious apple seller" is: Lightbringer Tybalt Leftpaw.

In the canon interchange, the PC is a bit foolish and callow about being in a secret order of spies and completely fails to play along, instead directly asking if Tybalt is the Order of Whispers contact. Tybalt sputters a bit and goes "Ack! Sssssh! Apples for sale! Nothing but apples to see here, folks!" before telling the PC it's a secret society, duh, and to keep their voice down and pretend to buy an apple.

It's pretty adorable and fun, but I don't think someone as hardened, secretive, and tricky as Gwen would make a mistake like that. So unfortunately, it's not part of my headcanon for how the scene progressed for Gwen. I think she just pleasantly went along with the apple gig and under cover of the conversation, Tybalt quietly introduced himself and said he'd been assigned to train her.

In the storyline of my main, the aristocratic Althea Fairchild, I imagine Althea as similarly livid, and only later realizing that pairing her with a Charr was part of determining how trustworthy she was. I think Gwen immediately realized it.

She stayed silent, thinking quickly, while Tybalt warned her that a lot of people—some with very ill intent—would like to know the information the Order has collected about the dragons (and presumably about everything).

I do think Gwen's resolve and charm would get her through her canon response: "That makes sense. Put me up to any test, Tybalt. I'll prove myself."

Silently, she was thinking: No matter what, or who, gets in my way.

Tybalt asked her if she was prepared for their assignment. The canon PC asks for details right in public in Lion's Arch (/sigh), but again, Gwen wouldn't be that silly. I think she just said she was ready and per canon, he told her to meet him in Applenook Hamlet.

Interestingly, he then did this:

Gwen wouldn't have expected a Charr to bow to an Ascalonian pretty much ever. I imagine that, though very surprised, she reminded herself that she needed to stay on his good side for now, and forced herself to bow back.

He left, but before Gwen could follow, a different member of the Order emerged out of the shadows, saying, "Before you follow Tybalt, speak with me, Initiate."

How very suspicious! I love it.

The new spy introduced herself as Riel; she's posted in Lion's Arch as the Order's primary spy there. The Preceptors of the Order—the Order leaders second only to the unknown Master of Whispers, and only people who know the Master's identity—sent her to welcome Gwen, a mere initiate. Hmm, that seems a lot of interest in a random initiate, which I suspect is what Gwen thought, also.

It does make a bit more sense in my headcanon with Gwen than my other Order PCs, though, since she is pretty hardcore as well as stealthy and personable. She caught the Order's attention before the game's story even started, I imagine.

Riel said, "You have a right to know the dangers you will face," and then suddenly, a cut scene!

I'd forgotten the Order of Whispers had one as well as the Vigil and Priory, and I'd definitely forgotten that it fucking rocks.

Bathing headcanons with their s/o <3 | Ninjago

A/N: Not a request but I came up with this while I was taking a shower so!!!! Also this is completely sfw, I just thought it would be cute to share these headcanons with you guys!!

Also I skipped writing for Lloyd because I was tired and wrote this at 2am, but lmk if you want me to make another one of these for him!

Cole Brookstone

I'm starting off with him because you know why <3. Imagine a long day of training with only 2-4 breaks, must be exhausting right? So in the evening when everyone was mentally and physically drained from all the training, you decided to treat your boyfriend, Cole, into a nice and warm bath. I mean, he smelled and was sweating really bad, so you really didn't have any choice. You just had to drag him into the bath even if he didn't want to.

"Nooooo..... I don't wanna go, I'm tired and wanna cuddle." the master of earth whined as you dragged him by his arms to the bathroom, but he was way too heavy.

"Cole, babe, I'm not gonna cuddle with a stinky sweaty man. Come on, we'll cuddle after, okay? I already prepared it all, and I can join you if that makes you feel better."

"Okay!" He immediately jumped up and ran to the bathroom as if he just regained all his energy back.

Anyways, now to the headcanons!!!!

This man would be smiling the whole fucking time. He's just so happy he gets to be so close to you (not in a weird way) and he's just really fucking touch starved- Massage his shoulder, he'll instantly calm down and melt into your touch after a tiresome day like this. Also he'd probably just wrap his big arms around your body as you both talk or rant about the day. He'd even maybe sing to you if he feel like it <33333. He'd kinda go into panic mode or he like really nervous when you wash his hair because,,,,, he's not used to being taken care of like that? Especially when his mother died? He absolutely loves it and would probably cry because he miss his mom and just <333. He loves taking his time to be with you, so expect the two of you being on that bath for at least an hour or so 💀. But after that you both go changing, and then cuddle and sleep <33333333. Taking baths with you is probably his favorite thing to do, he finds it so comforting. You guys don't even have to do anything, not even talk, he just wants to enjoy your presence, that's all that matter for him <333333.

Kai Smith

Kai's probably the one to initiate it, unless it's in one of those days like in Cole's. Like maybe he's just missing you and feels like he haven't given you enough affection and love that day so he decides to do something special for you. He's very extra about it and tries to be romantic. You know with all the flower petals, candles, bath bombs, etc. You'll of course thank him for all that, and his confidence boosts his 100% lmao. He probably asked Nya to help him because she's a girl and knows way more than him on how to do these things (which almost led to her to do all the work). He insists in joining you (if you feel comfortable with doing so) and if you said yes, he'd just quickly strip off naked and hop into the small bathtub, causing a quite big splash and a candle or two to fall down, but you luckily caught them both. "Whoops...." You gave him a look and which he gave an innocent smile in return.

So with that out of the way, instead of you massaging him, it's the other way around. I headcanon him actually being really good and skilled at massaging, and would probably heat up the tub a little if it starts to get a little cold. Kai just wants you to know how much he loves you <333. Also you'd both start doing stupid things out of boredom like playing Rock Paper Scissors or would you rather or whatever. He'd wash your hair for you, but ends up accidentally either putting soap in your eye or using the wrong shampoo 😭. Give him a 10 for trying though. He's a sweetheart but an unaware dumbass like <3.

Jay Walker

Okay Jay is very similar to Kai, except he's an aware dumbass <33. He's probably too shy to initiate it himself, but he does try though. He'd be so awkward about it, and would also get Nya and ask if it's enough with all the flowers and candles and shit, and she responds with "Yeah... More than enough I think." But at least he knows it's good. Again like I said, sometimes he's shy with initiating all this, like he's only good at kissing or hugging or maybe hand holding unprompted. It's so cute <33.

"Awh, Jay, you did all this for me?"

"Yeah, I'm glad you like it."

"I love it! Thank you, I really needed something to get my mind off of."

And just as he was turning around to walk out the door, he fisted the air with a small victorious "Yes!!!!!". That was until you stopped him and asked if he cared to join you. He never thought you ask, and got even more happy.

"Are you sure? I don't wanna invade your privacy."

"I know you want to, come on! It'll be fun." You reassured and gestured him to come in as you were already inside the bath tub.

Now that both of you were in it, you sighed and leaned onto his body, allowing him to wrap his arms around you. He has never been this close to you before, to anyone really, so you could tell he was a bit hesitant. But the longer you both were there together, the more comfortable he became. You'd both just talk about random shit, laugh at some jokes, and it'll soon escalate to both of you splashing water all over the place and at each other, so there was a lot to clean up... But you both still enjoyed it !!! He'd definitely ask to do it again sometime, and hopefully it doesn't get that messy again.

Zane Julian

Zane is a nindroid, he can't take baths 💀. But you can still clean him up! Like maybe clean up with a damp towel on some scratches, marks or stains to keep him shiny and new as possible. Let's just take the same context as Cole's. He was a mess as soon as he walked into your room you just had to clean him up. You could tell he was tired to do it himself so you offered him to help. You'd call Nya or Pixal if there was some minor injuries in his system (it's always Nya smh /lh). He felt bad for having you to assist him, but you just have to reassure him one way or another. He'd probably guide you a little though just incase you stumble upon something important or sensitive, he's a nindroid after all and should be taken care of with caution.

After all that, he'd probably make you a treat or a good meal even if he's tired as a reward, he doesn't care if you protest about it. He just loves you okay???? <333 kiss him too, he'll explode. Literally.

Dear sweet Ella. I was driving down the road the other day listening to Fine Line as I do and I had a thought: you know the way Harry sounds on most of the songs on FL? Kind of ghostly, choral, doubled or tripled? Like how the production of the songs makes it sound like there’s at least three of him singing most of the time? I noticed that there are (I think???) only two songs that don’t have that effect at least at some point in the song, where it sounds like it’s only his voice singing alone, the whole time: She and Falling. Me as ni.

Almost all of the other songs on the record are sung entirely in this kind of echoey-sounding mode—like, you can hear his voice solo in places, but not once in Falling nor She do I hear anyone harmonizing with Harry. Just him.

Was wondering…….. what you made of that? My first thought was just our good old friend vulnerability, Harry standing alone without layers of harmony to soften his voice—which would make a lot of sense for the content of both songs, but I’m wondering if there’s more—bc I’m a one trick pony, so it’s always my move to make shit about Harry’s relationship to himself, especially if I imagine his own voice is one of the the ones he’s harmonizing with in the recording studio, singing with him in a way he relies more on his bandmembers to do onstage.

i noticed before, as well, that falling is such an exception on the album, where his voice sounds a lot more clear than on the other songs. like this is something he needed to be raw, honest. just him.

and then to have she fit into that same kind of category? much, much to think about. bc she is gender (and) identity. oBviOuSLy. this is about how someone sees themselves vs. how they're seen by others, or even how they portray themselves to others bc that's what they're expected to be. i always hear the vocals in she as all those different layers to that protagonist, to harry, sounding off together. (this one is especially strong in the bridge, where harry's main voice singing the melody is low, and the harmony is done in falsetto, particularly clear in the lines "lives for the memory, a woman who's just in his head" and "while he plays pretend"). and if i wanna get really way too deep into it: it almost sounds like someone talking to themselves, in a way, like where the echo of "she" in the chorus could have been done by backup vocals, it's all harry. he's echoing his own words, he's echoing his own thoughts, this is all in his head. there is no other woman in his bed, there is no woman singing along with him. it's all harry. so, the absence of anyone else singing on that track is significant in that sense. almost like harry wanted to be very clear: don't get this twisted. this is not a love song. this isn't me yearning for some woman that's out there. this is me yearning for the woman in me

some interesting visuals from tour rn

i think we've all figured out now that falling is so very layered and can be interpreted from left and right, but definitely also from a self-searching angle. (what am i now? what if I’m someone I don’t want around? what if i'm out? etc.) for the choice of vocals to then just be him, like in she, is powerful.

stylistically, i think it's perfect for falling that it's only harry. this is his story; it's him taking a long, hard look in the mirror. there's no one else with him there, there's no one there having this conversation with him. again, it's harry talking to himself, letting his thoughts, doubts, bounce off the walls in a room where it's just him. i definitely think it's first and foremost to sound stripped. naked. just harry. and there's just something inherently intimate and personal about harmonising with yourself? to have to match yourself, to have to follow some direction you yourself previously recorded. that the only one who can get it wrong is you. that when you get it right, it's also all your achievement to celebrate. and it's also lonely. there's no one to sing with you. or it's empowering: i don't need someone to sing with me.

and then i can hardly think of this without crying: forward that to him singing it live for thousands and them singing every word back to him, creating the exact opposite effect of the original track............... like no wonder he gets choked up every time i'd be sobbing

in short, i think it all comes down to the intimacy in these songs, and harry choosing to keep them close. they needed to be only him, and be done exactly like he wanted them to be, so he did it all himself. and he needed to show that these are his, this is where he's laid bare. even though she is sadly so often interpreted wrongly. but maybe the playful tone of the song enables that, and somewhere h even aimed for that. some other way of hiding, still

and yk to compare it all to the rest of the album and how so often it sounds hazy, dreamy, underwater.;....... and then these songs don't.............................

like, obviously for the love songs it's clear: it's all bring out the big guns, the choirs, the strings, trumpets, all of it. let everyone fucking know i'm in love. let my voice sound layered and echoey like a day on the water on a sweltering summer day

for lights up, the most obviously straightforward song about identity and self-discovery, then to have multiple layers and even a gospel choir makes the experience of that song almost religious. a celebration. harry didn't want to sound vulnerable in his journey, he wanted to sound confident, challenging.

and then for fine line, at the end, it all comes together. the layers of harry, the backup vocals, the choirs, the instruments, all of it. it's the culmination of the album, and it has all of its elements. fragile harry, layered harry, falsetto harry, etcetcetc ivegoneoffaboutthissomanytimesalreadyitseems

i wanted to highlight the fact that it was aimeric's neglect that lead him to the regent in the first place. hence "youve done most of the work already" - guion by ignoring and neglecting aimeric created the perfect environment for the regent to sweep in and take advantage. like leaving food out btwn 40-140 F is a perfect breeding ground for bacteria LOL. the books touch on that but i wanted to make it explicit

hello hun! and well, it genuinely was just some random thing that popped into my head asdfghjkl. how it happened i'll explain under the cut because 1) its long because yes to essays and 2) spoilers aha

well, i do have my own plants right now that i've grown starting last April. and most ideas come to me when i'm close to going asleep a.k.a when i'm practically daydreaming/making up scenarios in my head at 4AM lmao. and i was feeling a bit :// that time and when that happens the scenes in my head are usually sad turned to comfort to like help me vent in some way and make me feel better.

so anyways, was laying in bed and the thought "what if someone destroyed your plants" and that hurt to even just think about because they're my babies but then the whole "what if someone important to you destroyed your plants" and that hurt even more and for some reason Tom with a golf club just came into my head and i just went---wait, hold up, that shit hurted™️ so you better write that down.

at first i just kept hold of the idea because i wasn't sure if people would be interested because not many people are keen on plants and planting on general but then i thought of a wonderful way to connect the plants or to mirror it with their relationship so here we are. ++ i actually dreamed of that particular scene as well but it was me with a golf club and destroying everything and i woke up with a bit of tears and a heavy heart and i just knew i had to write it.

at first i was going to make it quick and just jump straight to that heartbreaking part but then i figured that it would feel...cheap almost? like it wouldn't hurt as much compared to seeing them grow so i decided to start from the very first step which was reader taking the seeds out from the fruits. so while you get to bond with tom and the reader, you get to also see the plants grow and hopefully bond with them as well or just at least see their importance to make it hurt more when they get destroyed. (which make me sounds so evil but hey it worked asdfghjkl) so it was mainly starting from the seed and their growth and then i just added some cute, fluff, domestic scenes to show the reader and tom's relationship and their love for each other all while incorporating it with the plants (i.e. the supermarket, tom giving her water, tom building their little house, and then reader watering the plants which led to them having a convo about the future etc). so in some way, the plants also helped tom and reader grow and bond even more ++ their love and care for each other also helped the plants get a house and also, grow healthier. it's like a win-win on both sides. like a...i forgot the term of it in nature but they helped each other somewhat.

also! no one has pointed this yet but i wanted to show the contrast between tom after playing a great round of golf vs tom after playing an awful round of golf. hence why at the start you see him all smiley and all lovey-dovey with here because he's in a good mood since he just got a whole in one and had a great performance. cut to the climax of the fic where he played badly twice and you get to see how his mood is bitter and bitchy and what not. like i wanted to show how different a person can be when they're at their highest and when they're at the their lowest ++ when there's just too much emotions, in this case, anger. you see this with the reader as well how she's understanding of him and his love for the sport at the start and encourages him but because she wasn't in her best mental headspace that night ++ overwhelmed with emotions as well, things just went wrong real quick. kinda how i said that reader being at her lowest too was a gas to tom's flame (anger) instead of the fire extinguisher he's used to when he comes home all gloomy.

as for resolving it...it was a little hard since i was so mad at tom lol so i was tempted to just end it in angst but i figured that one bad moments doesn't negate all the best moments they had together in a sense? so i just let them cool off, give for both sides to reflect ++ give tom the time to realize the things he'd done and fix as much as as he could with her plants but also!! to give the plants to heal and grow a little bit to reflect their relationship too. and then i'll let them talk because it was needed to talk things through rather than jump back in as if nothing happened. hence that ending.

but yeah! that's basically it ahaha. just strings of ideas sewn together into this whole 18k fic. and i'm really happy how it turned out ++ it's getting an overwhelming amount of support which is so crazy to me right now so thank you <333333
