House Cleaning

Today is Saturday. In the morning, my father went to work and my mother went out for the day. I didn't have any lectures or plans with my friends, so I just decided to stay home.

I planned to do some house cleaning. First, I scrubbed the floors with a rag and cleaned the furniture in the room, the television and the stereo. I also dusted the windows and ceilings.

After cleaning, the house's atmosphere was very different. The room was clean and a sparkly shine came from the kitchen, bathroom, and windows.

Since the inside of the house was clean, I felt super refreshed. After house cleaning, I decided to do the overdue laundry. I like using the washing machine more rather than doing laundry by hand. Of course, if you do it by hand it is more tiring. However, rinsing the laundry and disposing of the water feels very satisfying. This kind of feeling is why I still do the laundry by hand.

지난 주말에 친구랑 피어싱 했다가 파스타 집에서 식사했다. 그 파스타가 손으로 만들었다. 정말 맛있고 그날부터 매일 파스타에 대해서 생각해요. 식당은 tortello라고 한다.

일주일이 지나갔는데 받은 피어싱이 아직도 아프다. 근데 귀여워 보인다.

이번 주말에, 여동생이랑 ‘센과 치히로의 행방불명’을 보러 갈 건다. 그 영화는 미야자키의 영화 중에 내가 제일 좋은 것이다.

저의 친구는 자기에 대해 쓰는 저를 원했어요. 그래서 친구에 대해 쓰고 있어요! 3년 전에 우리는 대학교에서 만났어요. 우리는 둘 다 부끄러워서 처음에 많이 말하지 않았어요… 하지만 우리는 비슷은 음악을 좋아해요. 그 후 우리는 음악에 대해 매일 이야기했어요. 대학교 졸업한 후에 저는 멀리 이사했어요. 우리는 채팅을 아직 많이 해요. 이 상황은 방탄소년단의 노래 '봄날'과 조금 같아요. 지금 봄이에요 ㅋㅋㅋ 

My friend wanted me to write about them. So I'm writing about my friend! We met at the university three years ago. We were both shy, so we didn't say much at first… But we like similar music. After that, we talked about music every day. After graduating from college, I moved far away. We still chat a lot. This situation is a little like BTS's song 'Spring Day'. It's spring right now lol

today's accomplishments: Going Seventeen re-runs / journal / warm-up + workout / Japanese lesson (2x) / Chinese lesson / Korean lesson / read Howl's Moving Castle / meditate

i'm dreading tomorrow, but that just means i need things to look forward to ☺️ so here's the plan! 🌷

journal — i really want to get back to journaling first thing in the morning but i also like sleeping in...

warm-up + workout — i'm going to try to break my running record again because i've been stagnant at 4 minutes max for a while now

Japanese lesson (2x) — 私は本を読みますと音楽聴きます (i read a book and listen to music) it's very simple, but i didn't know it before, so i'm very excited with my progress!!

Chinese lesson — 我真的要新字 (i really need/want new words)

Korean lesson — i need to work on my grammar more, but i also want new words, but i can only focus properly on one thing at a time :p

read Howl's Moving Castle — i really, really love it so far!! as the eldest of many siblings i relate to sophie so much!! why have i not read this book sooner??

watch Yuri on Ice — @megumi-fm i might be addicted and it's all your fault 😂 i have to know if he wins the Grand Prix and if Victor stays (and in theory i'm also learning Japanese idk, lol)

meditate — i can meditate for maybe 1 minute if interesting music is playing, so i want to listen to more taemin as i've been meaning to listen to his whole album since @nelyastudies recommended it to me... ages ago 🙈

whew, i feel better about facing tomorrow now 🥰 また明日! (see you tomorrow!) 💕

It’s been a while hahaha

요즘 많이 바빴어요. 많이 일해서 일기가 안 썼어요.

매일 한국어를 공부하고 싶지만 가끔 식안이 없어요.

이본 주에 한국어 수업을 없어서 방학해요.

저도 1월 부터 Hello Talk 있어고 여기 한국어 사람들이

마나고 싶어요. 하지만 자주 복잡해요..

또한 요즘 잠자리에 늦게 들어서 회사에 피곤해요. 💤

오늘 삼촌과 배터시 파워스테이션 쇼핑몰에 갔어요! 점심을 먹으러 고든 램지의 레스토랑에 같이 가서 엄청 맛있는 오리 샐러드 먹었어요! 쇼핑몰에서 파바도 봤어요!! 한국이에요?? ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 쇼핑후에 복스홀에 가서 삼촌은 저에게 맛있어 보이는 도넛을 사줬어요 😋 근데..사실..도넛이 좀 맛없었어요 ㅠ 왜냐하면 그 크림은 충분히 달지 않았기 때문이에요 😔 그래도 좋은 날씨를 즐기며 좋은 하루 보냈어요~🌞😌!

I went to the Battersea Power Station shopping centre with my uncle today! For lunch we went to Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant and I ate a reallyyy good duck salad! I also saw a Paris Baguette! Am I in Korea?? Lmaoo

After shopping we went to Vauxhall and my uncle bought me a tasty looking doughnut 😋 but..actually..the doughnut didn’t taste good 😭 it’s because the cream wasn’t sweet enough 😔 I had a nice day enjoying the good weather thoughh 🌞😌!

TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean)

Today I took the TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) at the Korean Educational Institute. I could not sleep properly due to my anxiety about the test. I woke up at 6 a.m., did gymnastics, and washed my face. Also, at 7 a.m., I ate breakfast and headed off to the (Korean Educational) institute.

I entered the classroom. It seemed like all of the students were nervous.

In the 1st period, there was a vocabulary, grammar, and writing test. I wrote my name on the answer sheet using the marker pen, wrote down the test number, and started solving the questions. The questions, however, were not so difficult. In the 2nd period, there was the listening and reading field (of the test), but maybe since I often met with Korean people, the listening portion was very easy. Despite that, I was short on time for the reading portion. The sentences were long, and there were many words I didn't know. Regardless of any possibility, I had no confidence in the reading section.

어제 친구들을 다운타운에서 만나서 브런치를 먹고 Barbie 영화를 봤다. 식당에서 나는 딸기 프렌치토스트를 먹었다. 맛있지만 비쌌다.

Barbie 영화는 너무 좋지만 생각보다 슬펐다. 내 어머니에 대해서 생각하게 했다.

내일 쇼핑을 할 건다. 뭐 맛있는 게 먹으면 좋겠다.

어제 저는 미니 road trip을 갔어요. 재밌었어요~ 날씨가 너무 좋았다! 저는 호수 위에 있는 다리에 타는 동안 사진을 찍었어요. 이곳은 도시보다 나무가 더 많아요. 저는 언젠가 거기에 돌아가고 싶어요.
