Coming from a broken home, he was terrified that his marriage would end up in shambles like his parents.

He learns to love the little things. Your tired face in the mornings when he wakes you up from a dead sleep, the way you stare at the ring on your finger for at least 10 minutes every day, the way you looked when saying your vows. He wanted to keep these memories forever.

In conclusion, married life frightened Billy, but with his beautiful wife by his side, he felt better every passing day.

a/n: Steve and Billy join the party! Been thinking hard about this so I had to put it into words and share a quick blurb for each boy. I'll happily do more for other characters if anyone wants that!

Steve:

She did up and left him and Billy resents her for it and yet, he loves her at the same time. He would never say he hates his mom because he doesn't - he understands why she left. He thinks he would have done the same thing but he does resent how she just. left him.

he hasn't tried to seek out his mom. he hasn't even allowed himself to think about it because her leaving cut deep and he can't bare to have his heart broken all over again if he finds her and it turns out she wants nothing to do with him.

He does have ways of honoring his mother, though. In canon, he actually has seashells on a shelf, i've noticed it in the background, and I think he keeps em because it reminds him of Cali and his mom.
