Full Moon Blessings!

Tonights full moon is called the 'Worm Moon'.

It refers to the beetle larvae which emerges from the thawing bark of trees around this time.

It is also referred to as the 'Paschal Full Moon' as its the first full moon of spring.

This full moon was also accompanied by a penumbral lunar eclipse. These occur when the Earth passes between the Moon and and Sun obscuring the Sun's light and casting a shadow on the Moon's surface. Penumbral eclipses are very subtle events.
