i’m actually Very interested in a pre-canon fic about life pre-purge esp for like uther and ygraine. it’s just so hard for me to conceptualise a young king uther whose kingdom had magic running through its very soil. he’s brash, arrogant, too full of hard love, but still a young man—still happy. or ygraine who we’ve never seen outside the bounds of Dead Mother. and what about the royals’ best friend, nimueh who loved them so much to grant them a baby knowing that magic will take a life away. and what of balinor? was he their friend too? did he and uther make jokes about the pendragon name? did uther ever joke around and ask if balinor should ever take a wife? i want to see their camelot. bright with promise, hiding shadows within.

you know i have this tougth that what if giorno and haruno are twins

and for all of part 5 giorno leaves whith the bucci gang without leaving and note haruno starts poking around and from what he gathers asumes giorno was lidnaped by the mafia

this is likely not at all in the direction you meant for it to do in but

what if. What if Haruno accidentally created Giorno with Gold Experience-

like. Haruno was experimenting with what exactly he could and couldn't do with Gold, thought "hey can I make people?" and then the next thing he knows he's looking at Him But Blonde and can't bring it in himself to turn him back into the small pile of rocks he started as

given the fact he was made by a Stand, Giorno can see Stands but doesn't have one of his own. However, he does still have a bit of ingrained loyalty to Haruno and the damage reflection :)

Haruno's bio mom and stepdad has no fucking idea where this Honestly Terrifying Identical Blonde Kid came from, but there's some freaky magic shit going on with him and the last time the stepdad tried hitting him it resulted in a black eye and the kid being untouched so they give the pair a wide berth

they honestly think Giorno's some kind of weird fae thing that attached itself to Haruno. The bio mom's aware of the existence of vampires since Dio, so she just assumes other magic things could be real and that Giorno is one of them (which...... she's not fully wrong but not quite correct either). However, on paper Giorno is Haruno's twin

Giorno is also....... Really Weird. While he definitely has the mentality of a child, there's also Some Other Stuff going on in that head of his which comes from his Weird Creation. He's also stuck in a weird in between of being VERY protective of Haruno and looking out for him vs being a little brother and looking to Haruno for guidance. This feeling is also reciprocated by Haruno, and the two honestly flip back and forth pretty often on who's the "older sibling" of the day

and ofc, things are absolutely INSANE with the Bucci Gang. He probably explains away the damage reflection as his Stand Ability, but Haruno not being there with Gold is going to get things interesting

maybe at one point after the whole Betrayal Thing Giorno all but demands they go back to Naples immediately because like hell he's leaving Haruno alone and at risk like this

to be clear, i'm not angry about pretty boy slade wilson at all, if clark is just starting out then bruce has probably only been at it for a couple years himself, and dick is definitely still flipping about at haly's with his totally alive not ever gonna die parents and a good few years from slade deciding that his archnemesis needs to be a teenager from the most insane family in all of north america, it makes sense that slade so far is a young man still fulfilling mercenary contracts and other things like that and still in the relative flush of youth

also again, the way they drew him was hot, if this is how slade's anime twink phase goes i'm not mad about it

I feel like the people who lose it over people wearing things like sneakers in the live action need to relax and reevaluate their way of gauging things like that because if it bothers you because it’s somehow “too modern” there are canon outfits in the comics that are more modern. If you think everything should be roughly industrial/pre-industrial as I’ve seen some people say then you can’t have stilettos, speedos, Hawaiian shirts, fishnet stockings etc bc those all start to emerge in the 1920s.

That’s not even getting into how various cuts and styles of things that would exist, like dresses and suits, are very obviously modern. I mean look at nami and robin’s water 7 outfits. Those are so aggressively modern fits.

Like— it’s one piece. Please look around at all the character and location designs again and rethink your perspective on this. It’s an aggressively anachronistic world. We literally have dinosaurs and super tech side by side. The franky family is wearing fishnets, tiny goggles and what can only be described as giant metal egg cups for pants. Sneakers are the least of our concerns.

i very rarely make playlists/fanmixes anymore bc the order of the songs is what tells the narrative and without that they're just a collection of vaguely thematic songs, and back in my fanmix days using songs to tell a narrative was like. the entire reason i enjoyed making and sharing them.
