Barris has only written romcoms and BLACK-ISH, a show I was never tempted to watch, even before realizing how many of the actors are also Queer. I honestly could care less about a Wizard of Oz remake, given it's been done to death and THE WIZ still lives.

But It's A Wonderful Life doesn't need a shitty, token remake using whatever Flavor-of-the-month, that Hollywood wants to push. There are PLENTY of Black Christmas films and a growing number are already classics in the community. Why rip off A Wonderful Life, AND DELIBERATELY PISS OFF FANS OF THE CLASSIC, SUCH AS MYSELF?

Hollywood is tired, mobbed out, compromised, and filled with creatively empty and empty-headed, Wall Street money men, who really need to stop running the Film Industry into the ground, with their endless hubris, greed and 1% ideologies.
