I just caught up on Hobi's live. Interesting to know Hobi and JK don't seem to be in touch as much now. I really thought 3J were pretty close. Didn't you? Solo era is interesting so far. Looks like slowly we'll know who are close and aren't that close, based on who is keeping in touch with who.

I'm only going to say this once because I'm going to start deleting asks like this one. This is for you and all the countless anons who think the same way about various friendships in BTS. I got out of a very bad relationship that went on for 5 years and honestly it was 5 years too long, he was pretty horrible and regretfully I eventually started fighting fire with fire, frustration from getting into the same arguments constantly with no change whatsoever just made me so tired and I'm not very proud of how cranky of a person that made me,

The first person I text this news to is the man who would end up being my boyfriend today, he drops everything he was doing, he was literally about to do Uber deliveries but stopped everything so he could listen to me Sob and mumble about everything that happened while I wandered around my nearby Walmart, I didn't realize it before but I found myself very comfortable with him, we had a rocky start to our friendship but he ends up being my rock,

I wasn't trying to find a new relationship, if anything I wanted to avoid it, after five years I was both crushed and then humiliated me, romantic feelings was the last thing I wanted to get, but about a week later we're hanging out daily, I looked forward to coming home from work to play overwatch with him, one night we get off of overwatch, I had work the next day and was trying to go to sleep, I couldn't help but lay in bed awake, thinking about him, he's just such a sweetheart, not to mention passionate about the things he loves, and the things he works on,

I do everything to push back and deny any feelings, not only because of what happened to me recently but I also don't want to make things awkward, the more I tried to deny it the harder things got, I couldn't get him out of my head, and I'm not that good at hiding things either, we were still hanging out a lot as well, feelings weren't going away so I tried to ask him out in one of the most stupidest ways possible, I tried to slide up to him and say he should date me, probably one of the dumbest ways to confess to someone but the fact I was able to confess at all was a miracle by itself,

The confession doesn't go perfectly as planned he's originally not sure, he's not sure about a relationship and respects me, he does not want to somehow hurt me, however him and his friends would happen to be where I live, there's a lot to do over here a huge spot for tourism, he wants to meet me during this trip, he's never met any of his online friends before and wishes to see me, so when the day came to see him I got all dolled up in this sleeping beauty themed dress that I just loved, and the night before I haf done my hair up as nice as possible and I set out, it started when he offered to hold my hand on a ride and he just didn't want to let go and I just remained glued to him, there wasn't exactly another confession from either of us or anything we just knew we were dating now, it's been over a year since, we've actually been pretty steadily taking trips to see each other typically every two months after I first visited him in February for Valentine's Day, we also had the opportunity to celebrate our one year anniversary together I flew out to him and we went out to Vegas, we're actually currently planning on moving in together at the very end of thid month as well,

Kind of odd to go on about it's so hard to share all the fine details but I have never shared this story I haven't even shared it on my tiktok yet and I do a lot of personal story time there, hopefully the cute art is at least nice to look at lol

As categories, you can select any of these factors as you wish and search for any idea that you have or any niche that you want to pursue. - for now, I would just search for personal finance - let's see what the trend for personal finance search term. You will get the data of people who searched this term in the United States

Analyzing the trend results

See this trend is quite stable overall, it stays around  75 which is a good number. At the top you get the trend then you can check other details like from which states and how many searches are made. You will also get related topics to the keyword you searched. All the related topics they show are rising, so there are opportunities for you to get traffic with these terms.

Additionally, they display queries. You can analyze what kinds of questions people ask related to your search term. For instance, you can see here a query “best-selling personal finance guru”. Therefore, if you create content around these queries, there's a good chance for you to get significant traffic and views for your videos.

Using Prpmoterkit for Niche Research

Another tool that you can use is Promoterkit, Go to promoterkit.com it's totally free you can sign up for a free account and then just log in since I've already logged in and signed up for it, I'll just log in. This website has 30+ free tools that you can use for marketing and keyword research. I'm gonna choose Keyword Research Tool for now Here you type your keyword and see how it goes. Let's check personal finance for now. and choose the language English and country to the United States. make sure you tick I'm not a robot first, before clicking the find button.

The number of people who searched personal finance is around 2,900 searches and paid competition is about 10 and CPC is around 2.44. It also shows other keywords that you can get content ideas from. For personal finance, you can see the CPC, the amount that you can earn, and the trend this search term has. You can see whether the trend has been stable or has it gone up, or down. You can check everything here for free. Choose whatever topic you wanna create content around and on this platform, you get to perform keyword research about 20 times per day, so that's more than enough for you to do keyword research. That's how you come up with a niche that you wanna pursue

Factors to Consider When Selecting the Niche

Just picking a niche because you're passionate about it wouldn't be a sustainable strategy. You need to consider three things before picking a niche, - That niche should have videos related to the niche topic that get at least a hundred thousand views consistently. - The niche should have a high CPM. CPM means the amount of money you earn per thousand views. - The niche should also have affiliate products or digital products that you can promote and earn revenue in addition to the revenue you earn from your views.  if you can tick all three factors in the niche you have chosen, you are ready  to go

Example of YouTube Channels that Make Money on YouTube Without Recording Videos

Check out this channel called Body Hub, It's creating content under the health and fitness niche and you can see that they have just made these videos using stock videos

This channel called Natural Cures creates content on the health niche. They are also doing the same thing as the YouTube channel above, they've got 3.4 million subscribers already.

The next channel called Chris Invests, has 134,000 subscribers already. They create videos from a software called Videoscribe.

3. Creating the YouTube Video to make money on YouTube Without Recording Videos

After you decide which niche you wanna create content around, and your specific topic for the video, the next thing you gotta do is create your own unique YouTube script. If you find it difficult to create a YouTube script by yourself, you can use the chat GPT to get some ideas and get some help to create one. You could also outsource these services from platforms like Fiverr, and Upwork. After creating a script, you just have to go to websites like Pixabay.com or Pexels.com and then download the relevant stock videos for your video. After that, all you have to do is compile these videos using free video editing software like Capcut, Hitfilm Express, or Openshot. Then get a voice-over of reading the script you have created. If you can do it by yourself that will be ideal, if you find it difficult, you can always outsource that part of creating a voice-over by outsourcing the task to freelancers. My 2 cents

its not PR or planned. They have followed each other for a while. Scott has a picture with her from 3 years ago, it reasonable to assume they have met before and became friends. Its important for young puppies get socialized with other dogs and dog parks are closed now. I can absolutely see chris hearing about her new dog and offering up dodger as a socializing exercise.

as for the videos. im sure they both took tones of videos that day. Maybe they were sharing videos with each other the next day and decided to post some. That would explain why they posted at the same time.

as for JJ. i really dont think they posted 4 hours before the videos were posted. Not a single blog fan account or page posted the photos or about the photos. As many fans that a have google alert set for chris, as many fans that check every gossip site daily for his name, you really think not a single fan saw that JJ post 4 hours ahead of time. Content spreads like wild fire in fandomes and those videos and pictures werent seen anywhere until chris posted them on his page. That theory started on 1 tumblr page from one anon who screan shot their google results time stamp. It spread, again, like WILD FIRE. Some one with more computer experience than made a post about reading the html code on JJ, i cant repeat it all from memory but she basically said that the both the JJ time stamp and google time stamps aren’t reliable. It is known that google time stamps are wonky. it is possible that JJ wrote up the post 15 minutes after it was posted, the first JJ post did feel very basic and rushed. This would also explain why there were two post on JJ. The first did not mentioned ally, the second did because ally posted a few minutes after chris and it took them a few minutes to put together whos dog it was. If this was pre planned PR they would know whos dog it was before they made the first post.

As for the sweater. It is a sweater he owns, he has worn it before.

There is a normal sound and logical explanation for every part of this “event”

Shinsou stepped out of the arena holding his hero licence. When he was moved into the heroic class, into class 2A, not only did he need to keep up with his peers, but also learn and achieve everything his class had done on his first year. Which included getting his provisional licence alone with thousands of people going after him, since they knew his quirk from the sports festival. Luckily he had aced it, and was able to get his hero licence.

Hitoshi never thought he would be able to reach this point. At UA, in the heroic course, with friends that weren't afraid of his quirk and every day getting one step closer to becoming a pro. And all of it because of one teacher. One man that had seen his potential and had given him a chance to prove himself. One man that taught him and provided him with tools to succeed. Hitoshi wanted to make him proud.

As he stared at his hero licence in disbelief, a car honked at him. Looking up, he saw Midnight-sensei waving at him. There were a few men, both teachers and students, blatantly staring at her salivating and with their jaws dropped while she leaned out of the car window. Taking his hero gear and putting his new licence in his pocket and went into the car. Once he had his seatbelt on, Kayama sensei started the car and they were on their way back to UA.

"So?" His teacher asked after a while. "How did it go?"

"Fine,"

"Well, what's your hero name? I know you wanted to keep it a secret until you had your licence, but you got it now," She asks and makes Shinsou start worrying.

He didn't want to say what his hero name was because he didn't have one. He was planning on just using Hitoshi or Brainwash, but Kayama had told him that it wouldn't be a good idea. Since he wanted to be an underground hero, having his name or his quirk name would play as a disadvantage for him in the long run. So he was back to square one. 

When they gave him the document to fill with his information to make his licence, he didn't know what to write down. He was about to put down his quirk name, with the faith that he would change it once he got his real hero licence, when he got an idea. A stupid and very reckless idea that was bound to make a lot of people mad. But he went with it anyway.

Kayama sensei, was one of those peoples that might get mad at his hero name choice. Not because it was bad or dated, but because of the history behind the name. It was a lot to live up to. And while Shinsou was ready to try, some people might think he would never be able to.

Taking a deep breath, he took his licence out of his pocket and gave it to his teacher. They had just stopped at a red light, and as he took out his wallet to put his licence on when she gave it back, Midnight stared at it quietly. 

She snapped out of it when the car behind them honked at them, the light going back to green. Kayama sensei gave him back his licence and continued their drive back to UA. Shinsou placed his licence, the real, touchable proof that he was going to be a hero, in his wallet and Midnight, as she drove, cleaned the few tears that were escaping her eyes.

His anxiety making him jump to conclusion, made Shinsou say. "I can change it back later..."

"Don't," Kayama assures him. "You are a great kid, Shinsou,"

The rest of the drive is quiet, with the music from the radio filling the background. When they reach UA, Kayama hugs him before leaving, telling him that he should go to his dormitory and to 'watch out'. He didn't get it until he went into the 2A dorm.

All the light were off and it was quiet. Too quiet for it to be class 2A dormitory, the class of problem children. He deduced quickly what was going on.

"Oh No,"

"SURPRISE!!!!!!" His classmates from both classes of the heroic course jumped out of hiding, turning the light back on, throwing glitter and confetti at him and displaying a giant banner that said "Congratulations Shinsou!". 

Kaminari had asked him how the exam had gone when he was waiting for his licence to be made. Him and the lightning dumbass had become pretty good friends since he joined the hero course. They texted daily and more than one time had the loud blonde found a place inside his room. He figured he had been the one in charge of asking him if things had gone alright. It would have been awkward if he hadn't gotten his licence and they threw a party for him.

As he was pulled further inside, and a crown was pulled on top of his head, everybody grabbed a drink and raised their cup to cheer. He was given a glass too, and as Kaminari perched himself over his shoulder, he screamed: "To the New Hero of UA".

Everyone whooped and drank. As the surprise party continued, with games, food and other types of shenanigans, soon enough the one-million-dollar question needed to be answered.

"So what's your hero name?" Izuku asks him as they all seat around the couch eating cake.

"Yeah, what did you end up going with?" Kaminari, on his other side, questioned him too, but louder, getting everyone's attention.

Great. Now a bunch of people that might get mad at his choice for his hero name wanted to know what he had decided on. Great.

Taking out his wallet, he passes them his hero licence. They all take turns to read his name, the room growing quiet, until the licence makes his way back to him. The silence that invaded the room is, surprisingly, broken by Bakugou.

"That is a great fucking name," 

"Thanks, Bakugou,"

The party doesn't die down thankfully, and soon enough they are back on track playing with a piñata and making smores with the help of Todoroki. A few hours later, with the party done and the class cleaning up or ordering a bunch of pizza ("How are we going to pay for so much pizza?" "I got my old man's credit card,"), Shinsou finds himself escaping the chaos and going to the gate of UA. There, dressed in his normal clothes and with his hair down, is one of his teachers, Present Mic. Shinsou isn't surprised to see him here. Present Mic, having a voice-based quirk had helped him a lot in his studies. He looked up to him a lot and wanted, no needed, to get his permission on something.

"Hey, listener," Yamada sensei greets him once he sees him. "How did the party go?"

Figures he knew about it. "It was okay, they are too loud," Mic chuckles at his response and messes with his hair fondly and earning a grunt from the purple-haired teen. "I wanted- here," Hitoshi gives him his new licence, embarrassed.

His teacher takes the plastic card and, when he reads his hero name, his ever-present smile falls and grows at the same time. Hitoshi doesn't know if it is a good or a bad thing. He hopes its a good thing. If Present Mic, Hizashi Yamada, pro hero, radio host and teacher of UA did not approve of his hero name, he will change it.

Suddenly, he is enveloped by two large and thin arms as the man above him cries quietly. Shinsou returns the hug, a few tears escaping his eyes. "He would have been so proud of you, Hitoshi," His teacher sniffs and Hitoshi presses himself harder against him.

• Law isn't particularly interested in food in general. Food is a basic element of life, it helps you to live and to have enough energy, but he's not "into" it. He totally respects your passion for cooking things, but most of the time, you're slightly disappointed with his reactions

• When Law comes at the table, usually he's pretty silent. He eats his plate without a word, and doesn't make any comments on the way things are disposed in his portion. He's too busy and preoccupied by his daily tasks to pay attention. Lunches and dinners are always pretty quick, and when he thinks that he had enough, he just stands up, and if you are alone in the kitchen with him, he kisses your temple and immediately heads back to his lab

• The first time you try to make him eat something with bread in it, or just bread, Law intentionally picks everything else on the table. He thinks that you already know that he hates this particular dish, and he doesn't force himself to have a try. Even when you encourage him and push the plate in front of his eyes, he simply waves his hand and says that he's already full and doesn't need to taste anything else

• Law understands that it hurts your feelings after a few times. He notices that spark of disappointment on your face, and rather than eats your plates, he makes amend by rooming you in his office and gives you burning kisses to make you forget about his reluctance to taste your bread recipe. He knows it's clearly a way to manipulate you, somehow, because he truly hopes that you will stop trying to make him eat something he really doesn't like, when he takes care of you like this. Indeed, perhaps you only do this to catch his attention, and he's more than willing to give you some... but there's no need to bake bread for that

• Yet, you keep trying your best to make some, and one day, after he refuses to taste it for the thousand time, you can't hold your tears anymore. You yell at him that it's impolite, and childhish to turn down your cooking, but Law simply argues that he doesn't want to eat something he despites, and you must know it. Since when, it's a cold war between the two of you... and Law, first, withdraws into himself, pretty sure that he's right in this fight... and for a few days, he simply waits for you to make the first step and apologize

• But you don't, and it starts to bother him. This is entirely different from your other fights. You're clearly hurt, and he can feel it anytime he meets you on the submarine. You don't speak, and you don't even smile, keeping thid oddly sad and desperate face, avoiding his stare and his presence. Law finishes to believe that, perhaps, he's the one who has been rude, and he decides to act to make things better between the two of you

• As you're in the kitchen, he silently walks behind you and circles your waist, putting slow and hungry kisses in the crook of your neck, whispering kind and lovely words, until you finally melt under his poisoning touch. He feels that it's not enough though, and as you turn your head to look at him, Law gently asks you if you can cook him your famous bread, so he can taste it. He softly smiles, because you seem surprised, but yes, he actually means it and he squeezes your hips tenderly, urging you to start cooking for him

• During the whole baking process, Law never leaves you. He watches you preparing the bread, almost tenderized by this adorable way you cook for him. You seem happy, and bubbly, and somehow he feels slightly bad because he could have seen you in this mood a long time ago if he hasn't been a jerk. Sometimes he even steals a kiss from your lips, when he comes closer to see if the bread is almost ready or not. And if he can have some tenderness coming from you... you better be sure that he loves to push your buttons and hungrily skim your skin while the bread is getting ready

• When it's finally time to taste it, for a second, Law fights a violent nausea. Even the lovely smell of your cooking doesn't help. He's sure he's going to hate it... But for you, he forces himself and finally takes a bite. He chews it without any conviction, yet, soon enough, he feels all the tasty flavors and the delicious aroma spreading into his mouth, and despite his terrible wish to hate it, he can't help but loving what you have made for him

• For a long moment, he remains silent, but as soon as he takes another bite, you feel like you have just won the greatest battle of your life. Law sighs in front of your happy face, yet, his growing smirk only makes you understand how much you are right. "It's not that bad..." Law finally confesses, while the bread is almost entirely gone in his belly. "Come here, you cooking goddess", he whispers, dragging you on his lap so he can share the taste of your talent in a passionate and sloppy kiss

Some of you may have notice a difference in my posts the last few days. Me and my Partner of almost two year have split up, and its currently not on good terms. I am still living in a house with him until we can both more out. I am very far away from family support and moving back home is not a option as my younger brother now stays in my old room. Emotionally, i am not coping and i can't stand this house anymore.

My dad is helping me put my name in local housing lists and we're hoping due to my severe mental health and the situation im in pushing me to the edge will help me move ip the list quicker. I have to think about life alone, without my partner, which is something im not prepared for. We dont have all we need for this current house and now i'll have to furnish a new one by myself on benefits.

This has ruined my top surgery fund as i'm now having to dip into that to survive. Being in thid house is killing me - i havent eaten or washed since friday and i can hardly sleep. You can't help me get a house, but you could help me get the things i need for it and enough to survive right now.

Dear last night of the year

ise to I don’t wanna start telling how long Its been since the last time I wrote. I want to start saying how strong is my need to write down some of my reflections of 2017. Right now, my mind is running through so many moments, thinkings, promises, expectations. Some people will say to me how grateful I have to be for everything that happened to me, 2 wonderful jobs, sucessful year in college (not even exams), no health issues, friends. In part, I just have to be thankful, end of story. Other ones, ionly I know better. People seems to be dissapointed when we don’t show total happiness, apreciation. Well, so lets go to the real rewind, only honest can be used; 

1) I started the year with so many dreams ahead, which seemed to be right in front of me, the promise of a bright future in a big company, well known and motive to cause jealous friends always coming and asking me how did I get the job. After a month of a giant effort to have all the documentation ready, I gave my first step to adult life, without even knowing what I was going to become. It did last only 5 months indeed, but it felt like years. That place was a mix of anxiety, discovery, training, hard work, disappointments, crying, but the most important after all, is that I saw with my  eyes that life makes justice in its own way, even I we don’t believe anymore. That place was also a battlefield, today I can apreciate every moment as a trial to make me stronger, mature and resilient. I survived all that with a smile in my face, telling my family and friends how happy I was and how amazing I was to be managing everything so well. I don’t even need to say how difficult it was, today, I feel grateful, for being so well trained. I’ll always remember of every face i met there, my intern friends, all the capuccinos I bought to escape even for a minute from the pressure. Thanks for making me more wise, prepared and strong. 

2) After all that drama, I was lucky enought to get another job in a big company. I needed that motivation, at the time, i honestly felt like no one would think I was smart or anything special. Being between two possibilities, two choices of companies, it was the first time that I really understood what intuiton is like. I decided to let my sensibilities flow and guide me to my next future. I took thid decision on my own as usual, but this time sharing with the most important people in my life, my parents. At the first I had that experience, i shutted them out, like if they would try to do any harm, or being hurted by me. I did’nt know at the time that I was hurting them at that point, the opposite of everything that i wanted. This year, one of the most important lessons was to retunr the love my parents have for me, at the same level. I was to arrogant to see that, like they were not the responsibles for all my victories in life. Thanks for teaching me to be gratefu for the ones who gave me life, support, education, love.

3) Of of the thig I that sticks in my head, is how distant I was from my friends. I focused all my energy in my professional life, pushing every love I could get away from me. All the events that I tried to attempt in a hurry, was to pleasure other people, not me. I have to banish this from my life, giving all my time and energy to people’s pleasure. Although, is unfair to say that all my frinds were pushed away from me. I strenghthened some relations, people I truly believe are pure and good to me. Also, I am doing ok in my new job, breaking all the bad memories I used to have from a job. I realised I can be useful, intelligent and valued. I met amazing people there, the kind of people I know that is going to be around for good. Thanks for remind me that I need to look for my happiness first to be able to look for the other ones. 

4) I left my body and my health out of all the plans. Out of my life like its not part of my dreams. At the last day of the wear, I can see how negligent I have been with me, not taking care of the most important treasure. I need to start 2018 knowing how important I am, how lucky I am for being good until now, but how it can change in a second. Please, let me have strengh enought to take care of myself at the best way. Thanks for making me notice how important is to treat myself well.

5) At last, my not least important, I learned that I need to let myself to be loved. If I have trust issues, that’s my problem, not anyone else. Even having such a nice year of professional and academic victories, I can be happy if I don’t have my social life balanced. I need to let people be part of that. I need to learn how to let my guard down, if this will make it possible to let people in. I need to let the shame out, the masks, fake smiles and false enthusiam out of daily routine. I need to be loved like everyone else. I need to understand what is wrong with me, and how to be a better person, that’s the only way that I will find goog people. Not perfect, but good hearted people. Thansks for awakening the good person I know I can be.

No more hating, no more caring to much for other people’s life. No more negligence, no more fake, no more playing to safe. 

Thanks Universe for one more year, and just like the rain that just happened, let it clean all of the dirt in my life. Grateful for having the chance of a new start.

BAM! Kicked his ass in court yesterday, in pro per while he came with an expensive lawyer. I'm now covered for 1 year and he has to give up his concealed carry license, can no longer possess his 30 (yes, THIRTY!) firearms, and I learned at the hearing that he now works for a company that does something with rifle sales. So the PPO has now likely taken away his ability to maintain his employment (sorry not sorry, thid is 100% his fault and he's wealthy and doesn't need to work anyway) AND this took away his favorite daily hobby - going to the gun range.

It's been over 30 hours since I got the paperwork in hand and I'm still a mess. The judge outright told me she doesn't think this piece of paper will stop him and gave me instructions on how to press further charges and told me she expects to see me back in her courtroom soon. I'm SO thankful to have the paper so I can call the police when dude reappears, but I don't know how long I'll feel unsafe everywhere I go because of him.

My life has somehow become a Lifetime Movie. I watched an episode of SVU today about stalking and almost lost it. I know I have no responsibility for his behavior. But I also have no idea how this is my life right now.

The PPO documentation has to stay with me at all times for the next year. So I'll have a daily reminder every time I see it that this is my life. I hope the cloud of fear will lift soon. But I've also seen enough Lifetime movies and read enough horror stories of domestic stalking in the news to know this still may not end well.

I know I've been #intentionallysingle for awhile. I'm fucked up enough from all of this that my relationship status will NOT be changing anytime in the foreseeable future.

I'm so goddamned proud of myself for not only showing up yesterday, but for waiting 4.5 hours for my case to be heard and for standing up to my stalker. The vindication when the judge issued her ruling was so overwhelming that I started shaking sobbing uncontrollably. As did my mom a few feet behind me.

I won. I did it. I'm a strong as hell, independent, successful single mom who can conquer anything. But that was one of the scariest experiences of my life...and somehow I feel like this has just begun...

Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much

“No society can surely be flourishing and happy, of which the far greater part of the members are poor and miserable.”-Adam Smith ("quotes on flourishing communities - Bing", 2019). A flourishing community: defined in the dictionary as a state where people experience positive emotions, positive psychological functioning and positive social functioning, most of the time, living “within an optimal range of human functioning” ("Flourishing", 2019). However, every individual will view whether a community is flourishing in a different light, for example, an individual from a rural community may view a more urban community as the ideal, flourishing community. On the contrary however, an individual from an urban area may view the increased sense of community, “Ubuntu”, as the ideal, flourishing community. I guess there is some truth in the saying that the grass is always greener on the other side. As someone who has experienced both urban as well as rural areas, I believe both communities may indeed have elements of flourishing, growth and absolute beauty and function. The rural community does indeed have a lack of economic resources, high rates of unemployment, poor social resources and schooling. However, from experience I have noted that these types of communities are somewhat more resilient, members from these communities form more of a large, extended family, supportive, hard-working and embracing the true sense of “Ubuntu” a more collectivist community. This does not necessarily mean that this community may not flourish in its own way; money is not the sole element of a community’s ability to flourish. The urban community does indeed have more economic resources, opportunities, development and higher class schooling. However, from experience, these types of communities tend to be more individualistic, each person focused on their own lives, responsibilities and daily routines. These communities lack a sense of “Ubuntu”, and tend to lack the true sense of what it means to be a community, other than simply being a group of people situated in the same area. Therefore, sometimes I wonder and find myself challenging the status quo of what a flourishing community really is, you see I am not entirely convinced that urban areas are flourishing at all, as how can a community be truly flourishing without the sense of community to begin with. What is the point of having money, resources and development if there is no sense of being a community, working for the betterment of our neighbours, but instead focused on the betterment of oneself alone? Surely then it is individuals that are flourishing, instead of a flourishing community. In saying that however, research states that; Community wellbeing is the combination of social, economic, environmental, cultural, and political conditions identified by individuals and their communities as essential for them to flourish and fulfill their potential. There are three elements of a flourishing community; connectedness, livability and equity. Connectedness refers to a community’s social networks, social support, engagement of community members and empowerment of members to participate in the community development. Livability refers to infrastructures which include housing, transport, education and public safety. Equity refers to the values of diversity, social justice, and empowerment where all members of the community are treated with fairness and the basic needs of the community members are met. ("What Is Community Wellbeing? | Taking Charge of Your Health & Wellbeing", 2019). Low socio-economic communities generally have the element of connectedness, as previously explained, however do not possess the element of livability as these communities generally do not have running water, electricity and money is limited in terms of buying healthy, sufficient, nutritious food. Equity is an element which some low socio-economic communities may have and others may lack. This will be in terms of the members of the community being treated fairly as well as whether their basic needs are met. From my experience of working in the Inanda community, this community falls within the low socio-economic spectrum. I have witnessed the element of connectedness in its true form, a community working together, assisting one another for the betterment of a whole. This can be seen within the community, members supporting one another’s informal businesses, in the clinic where There are however the conflict and disagreement that is experienced in most communities, in general though this community tends to fit the typical low socio-economic mould. This also refers to the fact that the element of livability is somewhat flawed in certain areas of this community, having limited money/income, lack of running water and electricity (not in all areas of Inanda). In saying that however, as previously mentioned, lack of economic resources does not completely necessarily mean this community may not flourish, with hard work, effort, collaboration from community members as well as the assistance of some outside parties/individuals Inanda may flourish within its own context and manner, as a flourishing community does not hang solely on the development of infrastructure, malls, movie theaters and stadiums, however on a smaller more intimate scale in terms of the development of parks, after school programmes, sustainable projects and programmes for the elderly in the community ensuring well being amongst the members of the community. “If we bring together the right people, communities can flourish and wildlife can survive alongside them.”-Jochen Zeltz ("quotes on flourishing communities - Bing", 2019).
