In the fanfic, and also in ror, it’s said that there are no born demigods in the ror universe. IT WOULD MAKE EVERYTHING EVEN WEIRDER, cause, why would a majestic god lay with a lowly, disgusting, awful, dirty, nasty, horrible, mundane, human?

They would be shocked, because in their universe it isn’t even posible!

Anyway, just read the fanfic, it’s amazing if you like a good yandere book and both record of Ragnarok and Percy Jackson 👍

Let's talk about evolutionary anachronism!

The idea is, a plant had a co-evolutionary companion animal (usually megafauna) which died out but the plant continued on. (See osage oranges, pawpaws, and ophrys apifera an orchid that evolved to mimic a bee/pollinator that has since gone extinct.)

I highly recommend reading, "The Ghosts Of Evolution: Nonsensical Fruit, Missing Partners, and Other Ecological Anachronisms" by Connie Barlow sometime. It is a fascinating read!

And my favourite fact is the avocado is an anachronistic fruit that they believe giant ground sloths would eat!

The thing about normal people that tears my heart into pieces is that the thing Connell ruined their relationship for - aka his friends knowing he and Marianne were together aka his "reputation" - was utterly pointless, not only because those people's opinions didn't matter but because their love for each other had always been so evident, people just kept quiet about it.
