seeing james mcavoy from the third row was EXTREMELY 😍😍😍
when i was 13, i cut out a picture of him from newsweek magazine (the closest thing to an entertainment magazine i had access to) he was in children of dune and he was shirtless and being taken over by sandworm scales (?) and tiny teen!me was like "makes no sense. compels me though" and stuck it up on a bulletin board in my room, where it stayed for many years.
(this one, or quite similar)
then later i saw him in atonement and was totally blown away and realized WAIT IS THAT THE GUY FROM MY BULLETIN BOARD?!
and tonight i got to see him in real life (shirtless, at that!) and it was rly like . . . wow. i didn't think that was a life goal of mine, but maybe it was. maybe. it. was.
(and i think he's a wonderful actor and the play was very good)
glassblowing rules because it's like one of the single most hardcore and impressive processes in the entire art world yet almost everything you make with it looks lame as hell. it's essentially a form of smithing that only produces neglected gift shop tchotchkes.
Fan-art because I can draw. And I um.. kinda really love @akanemnon‘s comic…
Kind of a minicomic below…
Please forgive me. I’ve had this in my head forever and just wanted to share my AU meeting yours. That is my Final message. Goodbye. 🫡 jumping in this hole now 🕳️🚶♀️
happy new year Ego!!! Just wanted to let you know that I absolutely adore your twst fanart and the tags are just an absolute pleasure to read! You are my greatest inspiration for my personal twst art and I just wanted to thank you for your wonderful masterpieces <333 if possible, may I ask what are some of your headcanons for the diasomnia family? If not for diasomnia then any other characters are fine as well!
thank you, and happy new year! 💚💜💚 that is amazing to hear; it's always a little bewildering but super flattering that other people like my silly little doodles so much!
I don't think I really have any really solid headcanons and also canon keeps validating me left and right (FLUFFY DOMESTIC DIAFAM IS REAL). mostly just kind of...impressions and general thoughts, if that makes sense! lately though I've been kind of obsessed with thinking about Lilia's hair, and specifically when/why he ended up cutting it. (l-look, we're bouncing around the timeline and I gotta make decisions about these things when I draw, it's relevant) (I mean I would probably be weirdly fixated on this anyway, but.)
I think I've settled on the idea that he kept it long until he went to NRC, partly because 1) I like drawing The Ponytail, and 2) I think he thought of NRC as a chance to reinvent himself a bit! he gets to go and be a wacky carefree teenager for a few years and have fun! (officially he's there to keep an eye on Son #1, but how much trouble could he get into, really.) so he gave himself a Cool Teen Haircut to go with his fresh new Cool Teen Persona!
also maybe he had some reflection on his hair's troubled past with three kids...
...and had to weigh his vanity versus the fact that he was going off to be around hundreds of kids on a daily basis, and. the choice suddenly seemed obvious.
convinced that no one who calls tim drake normal has ever read the original comics leading up to him becoming robin. a 13 yr old runs to titans tower to look for dick and then hears he’s gone to visit haley’s circus and proceeds to LOCATE DICK and when he finds him dick is like. you’re like 12 where are ur parents. and tim’s like that’s not important listen BATMAN NEEDS HELP and dick brings him back to the manor and when alfred asks he’s like Look idk either. later tim wears the robin costume and goes out to help batman and nightwing himself. and Later he has like. straight up stress+guilt-induced hallucinations of robin!dick and robin!jason. this is only the tip of the glacier. no one who thinks he's boring should ever speak to me actually
hands on the wall foaming at the mouth screaming and crying about how Surf's Up (2007) is the greatest movie ever . to think, i loved it as a kid, BUT WATCHING IT AT 19 YEARS OF AGE???? JESUS FUCKING CHRIST THE MOVIE IS SO GOOD i know JOY
