200 followers special
includes: multiple characters (would add more tags but.. i reached 30 ;;)
your name is shortened to y/n, they/them pronouns
notes: thank you for 200 followers! this isn’t really going to be that long, but im just doing the characters i really like so ;; ALSO I MIGHT’VE GOTTEN KIRI’S ENTRY A LITTLE WRONG so ugh sorry ;;
shouto todoroki
— THE OBSERVANT SIMP
from the start, he’s quite oblivious to certain things, (social ques, signs of romantic interest, etc.)
but when he’s observant with someone, then that totally means you’re special to him. does he realize how much he pays attention to you? hmm.. maybe?
he’s going to be the first one that notices you’re hungry, even if you don’t realize it yourself. he’s quick to grab a snack and break it open to you
same thing with being thirsty— if he notices that your water bottle is empty, he’ll quickly find the nearest vending machine and buy a bottle.
temperature is also no problem. he can immediately tell whenever someone’s cold; but he usually helps you first
too hot? he’s slowly putting down the room’s temperature
too cold? his left palm starts emitting some sort of heat in your direction, hoping it creates some sort of aid
if your shoelaces are undone, and/or he notices that there’s a button undone on your shirt— he’ll fix it for you
will ask to take your pictures on dates, and he’ll also help you pick out the best photo (not that any photo of you is short of any beauty)
in short— people will notice that he’s actually a big simp for you; because of how observant he is with you specifically.
katsuki bakugou
— THE TSUNDERE SIMP
just because he’s simping for you doesn’t mean he’ll treat you any differently. bakugou will be bakugou, and you eventually learn how to adapt to that.
but even so, his simp habits slip out sometimes.
when he’s cooking, he’ll accidentally make too much to eat, and he’ll coincidentally put the extras in another box and hand it to you
he’s a good student, even with studies. but would he say he’s a good teacher? hm. probably not
but if he notices you need help, he’ll sigh, feining annoyance as he decides to tutor y’all, because those ‘idiots’ are hopeless
rolls his eyes when he sees food on your cheek, but he’ll grab a tissue and wipe it off for you— claiming how you’re so messy.
he’ll act like he hates hearing your ‘annoying ass singing’ but he’ll lean against the doorway and listen to you rock out to whatever song you’re singing to.
denki will call him a simp for looking after you, and bakugou will just yell at him to “SHUT UP” >:T
he secretly likes taking care of you. his words aren’t the softest thing in the world, but his actions make up to it.
izuku midoriya
— THE DETAILED SIMP
as katsuki bakugou would call him; he is a nerd
he definitely meant that as an insult, but his input on detail makes it very useful in things like relationships
he remembers every detail of your quirk, your limits, potential secret moves.
it would’ve been stalker-ish, if it weren’t for the fact that deku does this out of admiration for his s/o
so if you so happen to collapse due to overusing your quirk— deku has a detailed plan on what to do. it’s almost scary.
he puts detail in a lot of things, anniversary gifts, birthday gifts, and so on.
deku’s also the type to plan things weeks before it actually happens. like.. planning out the perfect birthday gift
and with this, his memory is really good. so it’s very unlikely that he’ll just suddenly forget anniversaries and birthdays.
i hc deku as a bad cook, so he eats takeout food more than his homemade food
but he’s takes note of your allergies, your dislikes with food— and he finds himself mumbling small details to recall what you like
when you walk out in pretty/good outfits for dates
his face will break out into shades of red— suddenly rambling all the good details of your outfit, complimenting you while he’s at it
“y/n’s looks fantastic as always. i might die from their beauty”
if anyone calls him a simp, he’ll be really embarrassed about it. “me? a s-simp? is that a bad thing?”
just tell him it’s fine.
denki kaminari
— THE HYPEMAN SIMP
a big simp
like.. really big
he worships the ground you step on, and hypes up everything you do
y’all know when irene from red velvet literally breathed in north korea, and the crowd just
*claps*
yeah, that’s denki to you
it’s so blantly obvious that he’s simping over someone, and everyone’s just kinda used to it at this point
he’s just a big fanboy sometimes
whenever you’re sparring with someone, he’s always in the background like
“go s/o!!” 🤩
and he has tendencies to go a little easy on you like.. what’s he gonna do when you get electricuted??
but that doesn’t mean he’s never serious— nah.
there are times where he’s just a little bashful just being in your presence
sneaking glances your way, as he silently fanboys about you in general.
“s/o looks really good today. they always look good but !!”
when y’all weren’t together, the bakusquad was just tired of the constant romantic pining
it was really obvious that he was simping back then, and they’re not so sure as to how you didn’t say anything about it
mina always called him a simp
so yeah!! it was a big relief when you got together with him. he never makes you feel terrible, because he’s always your #1 hypeman.
eijirou kirishima
— THE HELPING SIMP (rip idk what to call this)
i didn’t really know what kinda name i went for this one but let me carry on
kiri upfront is very confident, and friendly. he never shows a mean side to anyone,
and there are rare cases of him being bashful
he’s kinda almost like a golden retriever? since he’s always nice and friendly to everyone
but then when you enter the room; he suddenly goes quiet, and he’s left alone with his rather loud thoughts about you
he didn’t really know how to properly approach you at first
but him being kiri, he’s still rather friendly to you (for now)
when he’s messing around, practically sharing one braincell with kami and sero
and then you suddenly walk in— he snaps out of his foolishness, and greet you with his very warm smile
“hey y/n!” he waves at you, and he hopes you don’t mention the teasing look on both kami and sero’s face
sometimes when he’s doing his close combat training, and he notices that he’s getting too close to you
he’ll be like “woah man, maybe we should move locations.” bc he doesn’t wanna hit you by accident ;;
kirishima prefers to not stand near you when his hair is all spiky. like he’s never conscious about it, until he’s around you
man poked sero with his hair before, and he doesn’t want to do that to you
kiri always looks at your hand, just to see if it’s occupied with something. his thoughts linger to what your hand might feel like
“their hand looks really.. soft. argh! i shouldn’t be thinking about these kind of things in public! im sorry y/n”
bakugou really only notices kirishima’s simping ways
bakugou always mentions the fact that kirishima goes really silent whenever you’re around—
and he’s secretly contemplating on having you around more so he can just shut up 。・°°・(>_<)・°°・。
moving aside all of that, kiri always carries your things.
you’ll beg him to give you at least one thing, and he’ll say no because it’s “not manly to let someone carry all of this.”
if you’re sad, he’s the first one to cheer you up— reassuring you that everything will be okay.
kiri’s just wants to be at your service at all times! it’s manly to help people, right?
hitoshi shinsou
— THE DISCREET SIMP
no one would be able to tell that he’s simping for someone
because unlike kaminari; he’s not like IM HITOSHI SHINSO AND IM ACTUALLY A SIMP
he’s a lot more discreet, and no one has really caught on, besides you and kaminari of course
he’s a lot less sarcastic with you, asking you about anything that’s happened instead of just being there
he prefers it to hear you talk. the way each word and syllable rolls off your tongue smoothly, and the way you use your hands to emphasize things
he’s amused.
oh and the way he looks at you? almost any normal person can sense the simp in him pop out (he’s so contained though)
he’s definitely the person that’ll get rid of any bug that’s terrifying you— even though he’d normally just leave it to them
he’ll do it, regardless if it’s the biggest fucking spider he’s ever seen, or the smallest spider
he’ll do it to make you feel safe.
he has these random spurs of compliments during the day
the source mainly comes from his staring habit
and they’re just so unexpected and out of the blue. hitoshi’s amused whenever he sees your reaction to his compliments
like.. you could be really frustrated about something, and he’ll just go “your eyes are pretty.” that’s his discreet method tO MAKE YOU TEMPORARILY DISTRACTED FROM THE ISSUE—
call him a simp, whatever. it’s true anyway so he doesn’t why should he be ashamed of it?
he’s discreet about it, since it’s your business and his business. but you can definitely feel his feelings loud and clear
neito monoma
— THE 180 SIMP
“i’m not a simp!”
[you enter the room]
*nervous laughter*
he had his last laugh, and he never thought he’d be this soft around someone.
especially if you’re from class 1-A like.. i became the thing i hated, ugh.
relentless teasing is amped but this is his way of making sure you remember him loud and clear
but he’ll never tease you in a condescending way— like how he torments the rest of class 1-A
that’s reserved for them 💅
always compliments you, that’s the first thing he does when he sees you—
and they’re never generic compliments either
“it’s nice to see you here, y/n! you make the world better day by day!”
“i’m still wondering what you’re doing in class 1-A, you’re much better than them!”
everyone secretly wonders how you got monoma to like you
monoma canonically likes pastels. spread the word
so sometimes, you’ll walk over to your desk— and you’ll just see this random pastel ornament sitting on your desk
you know who it’s from
whenever monoma starts becoming annoying, kendo will definitely use you as a weapon to make him shut up
he’ll be laughing at the expression on his face, thinking he’s absolutely winning at this
but the smile is wiped off his face when he hears “ok go on, i’ll tell y/n about your antics.”
“no, no! i’ll behave now, please don’t tell y/n.”
class 1-b literally use you as blackmail whenever monoma acts up, and it’s because of how different he is around you
like.. his personality takes a 180, (besides the obvious teasing) it’s alarming

Reconnecting isn't so bad
Characters: Shinsou Hitoshi x Denki Kaminari
Words: 3,620
Summary:
The group text had been sent, still active from their time at UA and almost everyone had responded that they would be there.
Denki had not been able to put his phone down, he’d screenshotted the chat, panicked, texted Mina and panicked again; amongst all the replied saying “hell yeah” and “awesome, it’ll be great to catch up” was a reply he hadn’t expected to see.
A one-word reply had consumed him for an entire week now
Shinsou Hitoshi: Sure.

Denki had never thought throughout all his schooling years that his adult life could be even more stressful than his years at UA. He’d spent the last five years interning at an agency before finally getting the invitation to join Ground Zero’s, which he immediately accepted; Bakugou, Kirishima and Denki had always worked well together so Denki thought it only natural that they’d continue their friendship into their twenties. He has been at Bakugou’s agency for two years now and had just celebrated his twenty-fifth birthday which was an event all in its own but it would have nothing on the party he was invited to tonight. Todoroki, although quiet and stoic majority of the time still loved to find ways to piss off his father, his latest method was hosting the most lavish and wild parties for pro heroes which always left a hole in his dad’s wallet and a mess in his penthouse. The party Shoto was throwing tonight was by all standards much quieter than his normal events, it was only open to his graduating class which he hadn’t seen in quite some time, at least not all together as they were all busy at different agencies across the country.
Izuku had been the one to suggest the “get together” as he had called it but Todoroki didn’t do small, this party would be like all his others, an open bar with very expensive alcohol, security and of course safety from paparazzi.
“It would be so fun to see everyone again don’t you think?”
Izuku had practically begged Shoto, eyes tearing up when he’d suggested it, how could he say no? Izuku was his everything, whatever he wanted he would have.
A one-word reply had consumed him for an entire week now
Shinsou Hitoshi: Sure
That meant Hitoshi was going to the party, Denki would see his high school crush for the first time in six years, He had given up on trying to ‘seduce’ Shinsou when Monoma had asked him out first, the thing that hurt Denki the most was that Hitoshi had said yes and as far as he knew they’d been dating ever since.
Denki had tried to keep in contact but Shinsou was working as an undercover hero, he rarely answered messages or had the time to hang out, either that or he just didn’t want to. Eventually he just let bygones be bygones, stopped messaging knowing he wouldn’t get a reply, he didn’t even know which agency Shinsou was working for, only that his hero name was Brainwash.
His mind the week before the party had been all over the place, Bakugou was yelling at him even more for stupid slip ups he was making and Kirishima kept giving him pitying looks. He couldn’t help it though, he was beyond nervous, what if Shinsou had really thought him to be annoying all those years and had stopped replying to him because he genuinely hated him, they often were paired together in sparing matches at school to improve their close quarters combat training and Denki had thought they’d at least had some fun, even managing to make Shinsou smile on occasion.
All the thoughts Denki was having were absolutely sabotaging him, he even thought it might just be a good idea not to go to the event, that thought had quickly been thrown out the window after the pre drinks with Mina and Sero had started. Mina really was the queen of self-confidence and always seemed to know the right way to bring anyone out of their own brain.
“Look Denki my darling, my lightning bug, everything will be amazing, you’ll go to the party with us, you don’t have to talk to anyone you don’t want to, were gonna dance, drink and grind on each other for a while, we have our escape word if things get bad and your ass looks great in those shorts. You’re gonna be fine I promise, plus its Shoto’s party and we haven’t seen the class in years”
“Yeah you’re right, I guess I’m just stressed because I’m overthinking. You promise you’ll bail me out if I make a fool of myself or anything?”
“I promise! Sero and I will be by your side or super close all night”
“For sure dude, we’ve got your back and maybe your front depending on how the night goes”
Sero gave Denki a wink, he was one of the only people Denki still regularly hooked up with, it was more a bro helping bro let out frustration thing but they’d been doing it for a while and they were definitely comfortable enough with each other. It was easier for Denki to do friends with benefits, dating wasn’t really something he felt he was comfortable doing, especially now that he was a pro hero, the attention was nice sure but dating fans or sleeping with them was one of his hard no’s.
The trio continued their pre drinks knowing full well that the bar would be flowing when they got there, making final adjustments to their outfits, makeup and hair they were finally ready to go, hopping into one of their private cars they crammed into the backseat while the driver took them to their destination.
Todoroki’s penthouse was beautiful, the view was spectacular and all of the furniture was so incredibly comfortable, Denki felt like he could snuggle into it and sleep forever. He took in the partygoers around him, they were all chatting and catching up, some obviously having worked together at the same agencies but for others it had been the first time they’d seen each other since graduation.
Speaking of which Denki was desperately trying to avoid the tall handsome man with purple hair that had made himself comfortable on the balcony, chatting with Izuku, no doubt catching up. Denki sighed as he watched Hitoshi bring his cigarette to his lips, taking a long drag before releasing the smoke into the warm night air. Denki shivered, oh yeah he was definitely not over Hitoshi, his eyes were still sunken and carried his usual bags but he had grown his hair out a bit, wearing it half up in a bun like he’d seen Mic Sensei do in the past.
Denki groaned as he tore his eyes away from the man he knew he could never obtain; he was nowhere near drunk enough to get through tonight. Looking over towards the bar he spots Shoto and Mina chatting and drinking; finally, an escape from his torment, Mina would help take his mind off things and Shoto was never one to ask invasive questions.
Almost reluctantly he got up from his comfortable seat the alcoholic buzz hitting him as he stood up, the slight feeling of dizziness telling him it was probably not the best idea to keep drinking at the rate he was.
‘Screw it’ Denki thought to himself making his way over to his friends. Mina already had a drink to hand him when he got there, taking it and thanking her he took a swig, letting the alcohol hit his tongue, slightly burning on the way down but not an unwelcome feeling.
He’d spent about fifteen minutes talking to his friends and catching up when Todoroki noticed his boyfriend approaching them, giving a small wave Denki looked back to see who he was waving to. Deku was making his way over to them with Shinsou in tow.
Denki felt his blood run cold and the nausea hit hard as his eyes met Hitoshi’s; spinning around a bit too fast he frantically looked to Mina while mouthing the word ‘help’. As Izuku and Shinsou approached Mina put her arm around Denki holding him close to her, and reassuring him he’d be okay. Izuku threw his arms around his boyfriend’s neck and kissed him deeply, Shoto seeming all too happy to return the kiss.
As the two seemed to be wrapped up in each other Shinsou turned to the others to say hi.
As he observed the two Mina was smiling at him while Denki did not look well at all, his head was hidden in Minas shirt and he looked like he might be crying.
“Hey guys, good to see you again”
“Hey Shinsou!” Mina smiled and replied for both of them. “You’re looking well, how have you been?”
“Yeah, good, just work and stuff, y’know …the usual. …Hey is-is Denki okay?”
Denki froze, oh god his voice was so deep, Denki can’t even count how many times he’d fantasised about that voice, feeling genuine tears start to prick at his eyes he gave a small thumbs up as he raised his head to meet Hitoshi’s gaze.
“Hey Shinsou, yeah I’m fine, just feeling a bit nauseous, I think I drank too much”
Denki felt another wave hit him, oh no, maybe the threat of vomiting was an actual threat now; his stomach was doing flips and his head was spinning even more.
“Ummm, I think I need to go to the bathroom. Please excuse me” Denki released himself from Mina’s hold as he looked for the bathroom, honestly he welcomed it at this point, at least he could be alone for a while, try and clear his head a bit.
Denki hated being sick, it was always so unpleasant. Eventually he got a break in his sickness to stop and have a breather, hearing a knock on the bathroom door he managed in a soft voice
“Hey sorry dude kinda occupied in here”
“Denki …its Hitoshi, I thought you might need some water and asprin?”
Denki felt the blush on his face grow as he realised Shinsou had been the one to come check on him, why now? Why him? Denki could only imagine he looked like a mess, against his better judgement he reached up to unlock the door.
When Denki opened the door he saw Hitoshi standing above him staring wide eyed at the scene in front of him. Denki could only imagine how bad he looked right now, red eyes and messed up makeup from crying, hair tied back as best he could, shirt askew exposing his shoulder, slumped over the bowl with apparently every last once of dignity literally flushed away.
Hitoshi sat down beside Denki, ripping some toilet paper and wiping his face clean; the act was gentle and far too domestic for Denki’s liking, another wave hit him as he returned his face to the toilet.
Once he had finished Shinsou patiently returned to helping Denki tidy himself up, offering him the pain killers and water.
“Here, open up” Shinsou whispered as he held up the tablet to Denki’s mouth
Too stunned to talk Denki could only hold eye contact as he obeyed and opened his mouth for Hitoshi, gently placing the tablet on His tongue before offering the water.
After swallowing they sat in silence for a while before Denki spoke
“Thanks Shinsou, I really appreciate it, Sorry I’m such a mess tonight…and like..in general y’know heh”
“You’re completely fine Denki, you’re beautiful, just like always”
Denki’s head snapped up so fast, he thought his brain had gone static again, starring dumbly at Shinsou trying to figure out if he’d actually said what he thought he’d said.
“What?”
“…I’m sorry, I just, I don’t know why I said that” Hitoshi felt the blush on his cheeks rise as he realised he’d just confessed to his long time crush
“You really are beautiful though, I’ve thought so since high school, I guess just seeing you tonight made me realise I still like you, I’m really sorry I don’t even know if you’re single or not and I really shouldn’t be confessing to you in a bathroom when you’ve just been sick and don’t really have the option to-“
“Hitoshi.”
Shinsou stopped his rambling, looking into Denki’s golden eyes, expecting to see rejection but instead Denki was smiling and looked like he was trying to hold back tears.
“I-I like you too Shinsou, but…but I thought you were with Monoma?”
“Nah we split pretty soon after graduation, just didn’t work out, and I could never really get over you”
“Oh” Denki’s tears began to flow freely as Hitoshi pulled him into his chest.
“You wanna go home? I can drive you, I’m sober”
“Yeah, that would be really nice please”.
Denki did his best to clean himself up before heading out with Shinsou, explaining to Mina that He was going to take Denki home she gave him a small wink and smile.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walking Denki inside Shinsou took in the apartment, it was modest enough and fairly clean, pictures of Denki and his pro hero friends and team were strewn about the place.
“Hey I think I just wanna have a quick shower, do you wanna have a cup of tea? Or if you need to get going that’s fine too?”
“I would love a tea Denki; you go shower I’ll put the kettle on”
“Cups are in this cupboard, tea selection is in the pantry” Denki pointed before heading to grab some fresh clean clothes for his shower.
Feeling clean and sobered up from his shower and tea Denki and Shinsou spent the next couple of hours talking about themselves, catching up and confessing to each other about their mutual crushes while laughing about it.
“I should probably go; let you sleep” Hitoshi said looking at his now empty cup
“..You could stay if you want?” it came out more as a question on Denki’s part
It was so fast Denki almost didn’t register it was happening, Shinsou had kissed him, deep, gently wrapping Denki’s arms around his neck and lifting his legs around his waist; breaking the kiss only to ask which way the bedroom was.
Eventually they made it to the comfort of the bed neither boy willing to let the other go as they entangled themselves together, only breaking the kiss occasionally to breathe, Shinsou took one of those opportunities to move his mouth to Denki’s neck licking a stripe before attaching his mouth to suck a dark purple bruise on porcelain skin.
Denki’s moan was so guttural he couldn’t silence himself even if he tried, it had been a while since he’d been with someone but oh god he felt so good just being with Hitoshi.
Shinsou moved his hands down the blonde’s body, under his shirt to gently tease and play with his nipples; Denki’s breath hitched in his throat as he let out a silent scream, oh god Hitoshi was talented.
“T-Toshi ..please ahh-I can’t oh yes hnng”
Shinsou ground his hips against the smaller boy’s beneath him, feeling his member stiff in his pants, the friction felt delicious. Breaking the kiss, Hitoshi caught his breath as he observed Denki beneath him, trying to do the same.
“Hey, I just wanted to be clear what you’re okay with tonight?”
A sudden panic struck Denki, he wasn’t sure he was ready for full penetration tonight, prepping generally took him a while; Shinsou must have noticed the worry in his eyes leaning down to kiss him gently.
“Hey, it’s okay, we don’t have to do anything you don’t want to, I’m just happy being here with you”
“I’m sorry Toshi, ummm maybe we could just make out and dry hump? If you’re cool with that?”
“what about a blow job?”
“Oh” Deni’s blush reached the tips of his ears “Yeah I can give you a blow job if you want”
Shinsou’s laugh was low and quiet “I meant me give you one” a sly smile on his lips as he glanced down at him; suddenly Denki felt very small beneath the taller man.
“Really? Are you sure?”
“Of course I’m sure, Denki I want to make you feel amazing, show you how much I’ve wanted you, how much I need you”
in between each breath Shinsou kept peppering gentle kisses to Kaminari’s lips, neck and chest looking up into his eyes awaiting consent to move lower. The answer he got was almost a whisper
“please”
“Keep your eyes on me okay kitten?”
moaning deeply Denki felt his cock twitch at the pet name, his blush increasing and spreading to his neck and chest.
Shinsou noticed the effect that seemed to have on the man beneath him, moving to cup Denki’s growing erection and gently began to rub him to full hardness.
“Did that make you feel good? You want me to keep calling you my kitten?”
“Yes! Toshi please! I’ll be good I’ll be so good I promise please keep going”
A dark chuckle built in Hitoshi’s chest looking up to meet Denki’s beautiful golden eyes again
“Of course Kitten, you’re being so good for me, so well behaved, how about I give you a special treat for being so patient hmm?”
Denki threw his head back at the praise as Shinsou slipped two fingers into the waistband of his pants gently sliding them down, Denki lifting his hips to help him. Once his pants were off Denki realised how exposed he now felt, his shirt was still hitched up exposing his tummy and his cock was straining against his boxers. Shinsou seemed to notice Denki’s change in demeanour and removed his own shirt.
Hitoshi’s body was stunning, he’d beefed up so much in the last seven years, his muscles so well defined and his abs looked like they were chiselled from marble.
“Careful kitty, you’re drooling” Shinsou chuckled as Denki Realised he’d been staring wide eyed and open mouthed for a bit too long.
Crawling in between the smaller man’s thighs Shinsou allowed himself to start working on Denki’s cock, gently kissing along the shaft through his underwear and lightly fondling his balls. Denki let out a silent scream as he began to leak precum, staining his boxers and leaving a gorgeous wet patch just above where Hitoshi was kissing.
Looking up at the blonde Shinsou smirked, Denki looked utterly wrecked and he’d hardly done anything to him yet.
“You ready kitten?”
Denki just nodded and let out a weak “please”
Focusing his attention back on the task at hand Shinsou carefully began to remove Denki’s boxers, freeing his cock to the chill of the air, it twitched at the sensation before Denki gave a full body shudder as Hitoshi moved in to release his warm breath along his shaft.
Purple eyes met gold as Hitoshi wet his lips before placing a final kiss to Denki’s head as he gently, inch by inch, took him completely into his throat.
Hitoshi set a gruellingly slow pace, bringing Denki to the edge only to deny him his release. After teasing the blonde for a solid half hour he looked about ready to cry; Shinsou gently released his dick with a quiet pop.
“you ready to come kitty?”
“YES! Toshi please oh god I need to come PLEASE!”
“Alright kitten, I want you to come down my throat okay?”
“What!? Toshi are you sure? I don’t think-”
“Of course I’m sure, I can’t wait to taste you deep in my throat”
With those words Denki was completely lost again, Shinsou taking him in his mouth once more and increasing both speed and pressure. Denki could feel his orgasm building, just a little more, he was so desperate to go over the edge.
Shinsou could feel Denki’s cock hit the back of his throat again and again as he bobbed his head, desperate to pleasure him, needing to show him just how much he meant to him; Feeling Denki’s hands find purchase in his hair, tugging but not pulling too hard he felt his hips begin to stutter, a sign Denki was close to finish.
With a few more thrusts Denki was moaning as he released into Hitoshi’s mouth, he couldn’t remember the last time he’d had this strong an orgasm, thighs tensing and trembling, eyes rolling back as the last spurts hit Hitoshi’s tongue.
Breathing heavily Denki released Shinsou’s hair, swallowing the last of the come Hitoshi moved to lay next to him, pulling him in close to his chest and tangling their legs together.
“Did you enjoy that?” Denki’s voice still small and wrecked from his orgasm
“You have no idea” Hitoshi chuckled, kissing Denki on the forehead.
Denki angled his chin up so he could give Shinsou a proper kiss, gently sliding his tongue into the others mouth before pulling away.
“Oh my god I taste gross I am so sorry Toshi!” Denki panicked eyes met Hitoshi’s as he began to laugh
“I think you taste delicious, just like whipped cream” Shinsou held Denki closer as his laughs rumbled through his chest “Although maybe I should steal some toothpaste, do you have a spare toothbrush I could steal?”
“Yeah of course I do, in the first draw beneath the sink in the bathroom”.
When Shinsou returned Denki had cleaned up and put fresh pyjamas on, Shinsou being the furnace he was just opted to sleep in his briefs, snuggling under the covers and once again pulling Denki to his chest. It was the most comfortable either of them had felt in a very long time, they would be able to talk things out in the morning but for now they were both content in each other’s arms.

edit: in my rush to post before it hit midnight in my timezone, I forgot to tag @third-winchester-second-potter and thank them for the photo album idea
Three months nine days and approximately eighteen hours, that's how long Izuku had been planning this. This, the best damn birthday ever, as to be proclaimed by his boyfriend Katsuki, as soon as it’s over. After nearly two decades of knowing each other, and three years together, properly, it had been hard to track down every picture of them, but he was sure now that he had found most of them at least. Between what he got from his mom, Katsuki’s parents, and their old classmates from UA, he now had a photo album thicker than most of the books they had to lug around in their third year of high school. But the real surprise, that wouldn’t be till the end, not till after dinner, not till Katsuki got to the last page of the book. That’s the part Izuku had really put the most work into.
Tracking down all the photos, reserving a nice table at Katsuki’s favorite restaurant, making sure no press would be around to disturb the high ranking duo, and worst of all, making sure Katsuki had a nice looking suit to wear, it was all a breeze compared to putting together the last page of the photo album. He had poured his heart and soul into it, and keeping his boyfriend from finding the rough drafts had been hell. He’d take the entire League of Villains any day over trying to hide shit from a pro hero ever again.
Fixing his tie in the mirror he knew it would all be worth it though. He had made sure tonight was going to be perfect, the best birthday Katsuki would ever have. Taking a moment to take one last look at himself, he nodded. “Alright, go time. This may be a sensitive mission, but I’ve planned out everything. Well, almost everything, but I can’t make a plan for the impossible. That’s just impractical.” Grabbing the nicely wrapped package of the foot of their bed and tucking it under his arm he stepped out of the bedroom, and right into his boyfriend's chest.
“Damn Deku, took you long enough to get ready,” Katsuki chuckled, grabbing Izuku’s arms so he wouldn’t topple over. “Weren't you the one in a hurry earlier?”
Smoothing out his boyfriend’s suit, and then his own, Izuku nodded. “We are in a hurry.” Taking Katsuki’s hand he made his way towards the front of their house. “I took the appropriate amount of time to get ready. You’re the one who took twenty minutes to put on that tie, Kacchan.”
A sigh, a very dramatic sigh in Izuku’s opinion. “I hate these damn things Deku, is it really necessary? Where are we even going?” Katsuki closed and locked the door behind them, before following Izuku to the car.
“If I told you,” Izuku leaned into the backseat, placing the present down there, “Then it wouldn’t be a surprise, now would it?” Standing back up, he noticed his boyfriend still standing on the drivers side. “You can’t drive Kacchan, I’m the one who knows where we’re going.”
“Nah, wasn’t planning on it.” He grinned. “Just enjoying the view.”
Now it was izuku’s turn to sigh. “Get in the car Kacchan. You can enjoy the view all you want after dinner.” Getting into the driver's seat, Izuku heard a chuckle, and simply rolled his eyes as he waited for Katsuki to be ready to go.
The ride to the restaurant was mostly uneventful, filled with the sounds of the radio, and Katsuki insisting to know where they were headed, as Izuku took a less than direct route there. Both for the sake of surprising his boyfriend, and to make sure no one was following them. Even with the indirect route Katsuki still managed to guess about a block away from the restaurant, leaving Izuku grumbling about a blindfold.
Once there Katsuki ordered, predictably, the spiciest thing on the menu. The two ate and talked, and as it got later watched as the restaurant cleared out. Twenty minutes to midnight Izuku finally gave his boyfriend the present. “Oh can I open this now? And here I was starting to think it was just an empty box you wrapped up to look pretty, Deku.”
Izuku rolled his eyes, laughing. “Don’t worry Kacchan, that's not till next year's gift.” He was fidgeting a bit now, picking at his hands and unable to sit still. Luckily, Katsuki was too invested in unwrapping the book. “Anyways, I think you’ll like this a bit more than an empty box.”
Laughing as he tossed the wrapping paper at his boyfriend, Katsuki looked up at him. “Only a bit more? Damn deku, and here I thought you’d put a bit more thought into my present then that. Or was all the dramatics over the suit and restaurant a ruse?”
“That’s it. You’ve caught me.” He tucked the crumpled up paper under the table for the time being. “All of this was just a cunning ruse.” Katsuki was looking down at the photo album now. “All I got you was a book you’ll probably only look at this once.”
Izuku had feared that Katsuki would simply open it, leaf through the pages, then close it again, but was able to sigh in relief as he slowly made his way through the pages. Izuku kept moving in his chair as Katsuki took the time to stop and look at all the pictures. He frowned, a worrying sight, until Izuku noticed where he was. A little less than halfway is a gap in the pictures, as a startling jump from seven year old Izuku and Katsuki to nearly sixteen year old Izuku and Katsuki was made. A nearly ten year gap in age, that Izuku knew Katsuki regretted. He sighed in relief as his boyfriend kept going, and his expression softened. Three quarters of the way through he looked up. “How long did this take you.?”
“Long enough that Kirishima was a real pal for letting me keep it at his place when I wasn’t working on it. Putting them all in the right order was still only the second hardest part of it all.” He smiled, urging Katsuki to keep going.
With a nod, Katsuki went back to the pictures. “That explains why you two kept making excuses to hang out the last couple of months.” Izuku blushed, a bit embarrassed at having been caught, and Katsuki chukled. “Relax, if it had been anyone but you two I might have been worried, but I have it on good authority that Kirishima’s planning something for you know who, so I assumed he was getting your help on that too.”
Izuku chuckled now. “So you heard that too, huh. Well, yea, we were both helping each other out with our projects.”
“Well now, that sounds ominous Deku. What have you been planning?” Katsuki looked up and grinned, just as he turned to the last page.
With an eye roll Izuku nodded to the book. “Why don’t you finish the last page first. I put a lot of work into that, you know.” Katsuki threw his hands up in defeat, looking down to the last page.On the left page was a photo taken after their last big mission, the two of them standing side by side, hands clasped and in the air above them. And on the right page was a letter.
“If I told the little green boy, in the beginning of this book, where he would be at twenty two he would think it was a dream come true. If i told that same boy during the empty page where he would be, he’d think I was lying to him. And if I told him just five years ago, he’d think it was impossible. But it’s not. It took a lot of work, on both our parts, but it was possible, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I know you mourn for the time we missed out in middle school, and I do too, sometimes, but our relationship is so much stronger now for it. We’ve moved past that, and worked for a friendship. For a relationship. Built on talking, and understanding, and most importantly, sharing. That little quirkless boy has become the hero he always dreamed to be, and he’s done it with the partner he always wanted standing beside him. Some days I still have to pinch myself, just to reassure myself that this is real, because you make me so happy, even when we’ve both had a bad day at work, and I could never ask for anything more. We’ve known each other our whole lives, and I want to be able to say that, for the rest of mine. Whether I live till ninety nine, or just till next week. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and that’s why, Kacchan, I need you to finish reading this, and look back to me again.”
As Katsuki read Izuku grabbed the much smaller box he had hidden in his suit’s inner pocket, and quietly got down on his knee, waiting for his boyfriend to finish reading. By the time he did look at Izuku, Katsuki’s eyes were red around the edges, and even in the low lighting of the restaurant Izuku could tell they were shiny with the beginnings of unshed tears. He heard Katsuki whisper his name, but ignored him as he opened the box. “I’ve been thinking about how to do this for a very long time, and at some point I realised, I was never going to be able to make it perfect, because no matter what I tried to plan, I always thought of something better three days later. So I decided, why bother with perfect, when I could do something, us, instead. That’s what we’ve done our whole lives after all.” As he was talking Katsuki got down on the floor with him, so they were kneeling in front of each other, both properly crying now. “It seems silly, to ask you to make me the happiest man alive on your birthday, but what can I say, I’ve always taken a shot at what I want.” They both chuckled at that. “So Kacchan, will you marry me?”
It was silent for fifteen, agonizing seconds, before Katsuki pulled him into a hug, laughing his ass off. “Of course I will.” He kissed Izuku once before pulling back to look at him. “You’re a dumbass though, you know that? Not perfect my ass. We could have gotten takeout at home, and you could have shoved it in my face and said ‘let's do it’ and it would have been perfect. You always overthink everything. And I love you.”
Izuku wiped some of the tears away from his own face, laughing a bit. “I love you too Kacchan. Thank you.”
“I’m pretty sure I’m the one who should be thanking you right now Deku. For the best damn birthday ever.” Katsuki smiled, pulling his fiance in for another kiss, longer this time, and full of promises.

Heroic Tales and Less Heroic Exploits
An au where Izuku Midoriya dies in his second year of Yuuei, and is reincarnated as James Potter. Shenanigans and changes to the timeline ensue.
It wasn’t anywhere close to immediate; his memories of his past life came back to him slowly at first, then all at once as soon as he was old enough to even slightly comprehend them. But by the time his fifth birthday rolled around, James Potter knew with absolute certainty that he was once called Izuku Midoriya (or rather, Midoriya Izuku).
He’d felt like crying later that evening, when Euphemia Potter tucked him into bed and kissed him goodnight. Not because he’d had a bad birthday, or gotten presents he didn’t like, or hated his bedtime. No, he cried because that was the night it had truly hit him; he’d died young, in only his second year of Yuuei, and had left everyone behind, including his classmates, friends, All Might, and his original mom.
Euphemia was a wonderful mother. But Izuku had had Inko Midoriya as his mom for far longer, and he missed her dearly. He’d never be able to see her again.
As soon as his new mother left the room, he finally let the tears roll down his cheeks, splashing onto the silk bed sheets.
(James Potter would never be wanting for anything material. Izuku Midoriya would never get the things he truly wanted.)
———————————————————
It didn’t take long for Izuku to realize he was in a very different world than the one he had inhabited in his previous life. For starters, when he had glanced over at the newspapers his mother and dad liked to read, he’d learned that the date was several centuries in the past. That was the first clue, as who’d ever heard of a person reincarnating backwards? A far more logical answer was that this world was simply younger than the one he’d come from.
The kicker, though, had come the day after all of his memories had settled in. Sixteen years for Izuku had quickly crowded out his far younger memories in this life, most likely because he’d really been to young to retain them for long anyways. If he’d had, Izuku might not have been as shocked when his mother made the toy trains he was playing with come to life and zoom around the room all on their own. He’d chalked it up to being her quirk at first, but then watched her flick a wooden stick (her wand, his memories supplied), and saw the toys react by flying up in the air and traveling across the room, before settling neatly right where they were usually stored.
Izuku’s little mouth fell open. “How did you do that?” He asked, astonished. Animating toys and levitating objects were two different quirks! Well, he supposed they could possibly fall under a single quirks category of controlling a certain type of object, but it was still pretty wild.
His mother smiled and patted his head. “Levitating charms, sweet. They’re one of the first things you’ll learn when you go off to Hogwarts. But that’s for when you’re older.”
Levitating charms? That sounded like some sort of magic. If this really was a new world, was magic real here? It didn’t seem possible, but then again, a new world could probably have new rules.
Izuku had so many questions, he didn’t know where to begin. If he decided for the moment that magic was real, then it would make sense for there to be a place to learn it, which lead to that ‘Hogwarts’ mother had mentioned. So if he asked about that, he could also know if his theory about magic was correct.
So that was the question he would start with. “Is Hogwarts a magic school?”
“Yes, and a very good one at that,” Mother affirmed. “Your father and I both went there when we were young adults. It’s one of the best magic schools in the world.”
Izuku’s eyes went as wide as the cucumber slices his dad liked to munch on. That had answered a few of his questions, but had also generated about fifty more of them. “Can you show me more magic?”
“Of course!” Mother indulged him. She pulled out her wand again and swished it gently. Small golden lights appeared wherever her wand had been, hovering in the air and shimmering softly. Another wave, and they started changing colors, the ground around them lit up by the glow.
Izuku may have had the memories of a teenager, but at the same time, he was still just as childish as his current physical age would have people believe. Out of curiosity and pure five year old instinct, he reached out and tried to grab one of the lights in his fist.
Warmth spread from his hand out to the rest of his body, like sitting next to a roaring fireplace, except the fizzling was inside of him and not surrounded by stone. “It tickles!” He giggled.
“It does, doesn’t it,” Euphemia agreed, smiling indulgently. Izuku let go and she waved her wand once more, causing the lights to vanish and leaving Izuku with a faint sense of disappointment. “Come now, it’s bedtime.”
Izuku allowed himself to be picked up in her arms. “When do I get to go to Hogwarts? I want to learn how to do that!” He paused, years of bullying for being quirkless flashing through his head. “Do I have magic?” He whispered, almost too softly for her to hear. “What if I don’t? What will happen to me then?”
“There’s no need for you to worry about that,” Mother chuckled. “Do you remember a couple weeks ago, when that painting burst into flames? Or when the cookies somehow ended up in your room, even though your father and I had been with you the whole night?”
Izuku did remember those things. He’d hated that weird painting from the minute dad had brought it home, and had wanted it out of the house. Just as he’d been glaring at it from across the hall, it had spontaneously burst into flames. There hadn’t been enough to salvage, so dad had thrown it out. With the cookies, he’d been craving them all afternoon, but with his parents around, hadn’t been able to sneak one. Yet they’d somehow shown up in his bedroom that evening. Luckily his parents had found the situation funny, and they’d all shared the cookies that night.
He nodded in response to his mother’s questions. “Well,” Mother continued, “Those were bits of accidental magic you performed. You’ve been doing things like that since you were a little baby. There’s no doubt that you grow to be a fine wizard.”
So those were little acts of magic he’d done? Izuku’s head spun at the implications. Setting a painting on fire with his mind was very different than somehow transporting cookies to his room. Then again, levitation and little balls of light were also two very different types of powers. Was magic anything like quirks were, or was it as unpredictable as it was in some books?
“How does accidental magic work exactly?” He asked. “I mean, do people generally do specific types of accidental magic based on what they end up being best at? Around when does it usually develop? Is there any way to control it before you go to Hogwarts?”
Mother laughed. “So many questions, I love it! Maybe you’ll be in Ravenclaw once your at Hogwarts. Fleamont has been so sure you’d be a cinch for Gryffindor.”
“What’s Ravenclaw? And what’s a Gryffindor?”
“They’re Hogwarts houses, sweet.”
“Houses? Like places to stay in?”
“That’s right.” She was carrying him up the back staircase, holding him tightly so he didn’t bounce around too much. Their house was really, really big. “They’re dormitories, where all the students sleep.”
“Oh, okay.” Izuku was reminded of the Yuuei dorms. This had obviously been around for a long time, however. “How many houses are there? And what does asking a lot of questions have to do with being in the Ravenclaw dorm - I mean - house?”
They had reached Izuku’s room. Mother took one hand away from him to open the door and they walked inside. It was almost as big as the entire bottom floor of his old house, with its own comfy blue couch and chairs, soft gold carpeting, and a giant four-poster bed, the curtains and sheets made of red and gold.
Mother sat him down on the bed, and Izuku crawled under the covers. “There are four houses,” She answered patiently. “Really, you can ask a lot of questions and be in any house, but it’s more of a Ravenclaw trait, because people are sorted into houses based on what they value the most.”
Izuku frowned, pulling the expensive bed sheets up. “And Ravenclaw is the house of valuing questions?”
Mother laughed. “Sort of.” She went to smooth out his hair. “How about your father and I tell you about all of the houses another day. It’s bedtime for you right now.”
Izuku pouted, as five year olds are want to do. “Aww man.” He brightened up. “Can you answer my first question though? About how old I need to be to go to Hogwarts? I really want to know the answer to that one.”
“Of course,” she agreed. “Kids start Hogwarts when they’re eleven years old. So you’ve got six more years before it’s time for you to go.”
“That’s a really long time.” He wasn’t sure if he could stand not being able to properly learn and understand magic for another six years. Then again, maybe he didn’t have to. His own home had a library, and his mother and dad seemed perfectly willing to answer any questions he had. Izuku promised to himself that by the time he went to Hogwarts, he’d be more than prepared.
“It goes by fast,” Mother assured him, kissing him on the forehead. “Trust me, I’ve been where you are.”
———————————————————
It was much easier to think of Fleamont Potter as his dad than Mother as his mom, hence the terms Mother and Dad respectively. While he loved Mother a lot, and she was a wonderful parent - even if he did recognize that she spoiled him more than a bit - the term “Mom” would always belong to Inko Midoriya, no matter what. She had been there for him at the hardest times of his life, and while there were some times when he wished she had been more supportive of his dreams and aspirations, he couldn’t think of a better mother.
On the other hand, Hisashi Midoriya hadn’t been around in years. He’d been gone when Mom had taken him to the doctor that had told him he was quirkless, he’d been gone when Izuku had found All Might and was given the power to be a hero, and he’d never once showed up in either of Izuku’s years at Yuuei. He was almost always overseas on work, stopping by every few years for a few weeks, then leaving again. Izuku hardly remembered anything about his father's interests or personality, and had only a vague idea of what he looked like.
Dad, on the other hand, was a constant presence in his life, and it made everything so much better. He also worked hard on hair potions that could fix peoples hair the way they wanted in seconds, but he always made time for his wife and only child. He had a nice, if very dad-like, sense of humor, and was always willing to drop whatever book or paper he was reading to play with Izuku and answer his endless questions.
One day, while Dad was reading the paper and Mother was just coming home from brunch with some of her friends, Izuku opened up the line of questioning he had been sitting on ever since his talk with his mother about accidental magic and Hogwarts houses. “Dad? Mother? A few weeks ago, Mother told me about Hogwarts houses, and how different houses value different things. Could you tell me more about that?”
“Of course kiddo,” His dad grinned at him, eyes twinkling. “Learning more about the houses so you know to try for Gryffindor?”
“Don’t pressure him, Fleamont,” Mother pulled her handkerchief out of her coat and tossed it lightly at him. It landed square on his face. Dad chuckled and pulled it off, tossing it back to her. “I think he’s just as likely to end up in Ravenclaw anyways.”
Their son shifted impatiently. “I still don’t know what each house values,” he reminded them.
“Of course.” Dad set his paper down, and Izuku caught a glimpse of the moving photos that had been the subject of his fascination for the last couple weeks (and the reason he had left this line of questioning until today; he’d been far to busy asking how they worked).
“Well for starters,” Dad said, “Gryffindor is the house I was in when I was a boy. Gryffindors value bravery and chivalry above all others. It’s a house that always fights for what’s right.”
“That sounds like a really good place to go,” Izuku noted. He imagined that if All Might were here, that would be the house he’d end up in. Yeah, now that he thought about it, that made a lot of sense. But could Izuku get into a house like that?
“Don’t count the other houses out,” Mother laughed lightly. “I was in Ravenclaw, for instance. We value wit, wisdom, and creativity. That was why I said it was the house for asking lots of questions. I think, with your curiosity, you’d do very well there.”
He probably would. But who could blame him? Magic was fascinating! Really, Izuku wondered why every wizard didn’t end up in Ravenclaw. Who could look at this world and not want to know everything about it?
“That’s pretty fair.” Dad squeezed his hand. “But most kids aren’t like you, Kiddo. Especially those from wizarding families, they aren’t that interested in how magic works, just what it can do for them.” Izuku winced slightly, he must’ve been mumbling again. While he didn’t do it nearly as much in this life, it still came out now and again.
“There are two other houses, of course,” Mother continued. “The students in Hufflepuff value things like honesty, loyalty, kindness, and hard work. They’re generally a very nice group of people.”
“I like the sound of that.” Izuku wondered which of his friends would end up there. Kirishima, definitely. Maybe Tsyu? No, she was probably a Gryffindor. Now that he thought about it, Aizawa valued those things more than anything else, so he’d probably be a Hufflepuff. “It sounds like a good house.”
“It is,” Dad agreed, “even if they aren’t always taken seriously.” He sighed dramatically. “And then there are the Slytherins.”
“Fleamont,” Mother admonished, looking more amused than anything. “Please don’t bring your personal bias into this.” She turned to Izuku. “Slytherin values ambition and cunning above the others.”
Izuku frowned. “That doesn’t sound too bad.” Were Slytherins and Gryffindors rivals?
“You got it,” Dad admitted, somewhat chastised. “And it isn’t bad, per say. Everyone needs some ambition to get places in life. But would you honestly trust someone who made it clear they value ambition itself over things like kindness or bravery?”
Surprisingly, it wasn’t a villain that popped into Izuku’s head, but Endeavor, who valued his own status as a hero over being a hero itself, so much so that he forced his own child to be someone he could live vicariously through, and neglected his other kids. He gritted his teeth at the thought of that man.
“Yeah,” he managed to get out. “Yeah, that doesn’t sound very nice.”
“There are some very nice Slytherins,” Mother pointed out, sitting down beside Izuku at the table. “A few of my school friends were from that house, and they were good people.”
“You just couldn’t trust them,” Dad snarked.
“Fleamont!” Mother chided. Izuku could tell it was teasing on both sides, but he vowed right then that he wouldn’t be in Slytherin. He wanted to be better than that.
But to be better, he had to know how one’s house got chosen, so that he could aim for one of the other three. “How do you get into each house?” He questioned his parents, who were still gently teasing each other.
“Ah,” Dad forced himself to stop laughing. “That’s a secret Kiddo, sorry. School tradition.”
“I wouldn’t worry about it too much.” Mother smiled down on him. “Wherever you go, we’ll be proud of you. We may not be able to tell you what the sorting process is, but we can tell you neither of us have heard of an instance where someone was sorted wrong.” Izuku nodded, feeling reassured.
Still, he’d try to find out more later. He didn’t want to go into this at all unprepared.
———————————————————
“James, sweet, it’s bedtime.” Mother poked her head around the door to their library. “Still reading all those books, I see. You haven’t come out of there all day, save for meals. What are you reading that has you so interested?”
“Lots of things!” Izuku picked his head up from the current volume he was reading. Scattered around him were many other books of varying sizes, containing all sorts of different subjects. “Did you know that no one ever figured out a pattern to how accidental magic manifests itself? It can appear at any age, in tons of different ways. But why? Why does it do that?”
“It’s magic, Sweet.” Mother sat down next to him, gently stacking the books up and sending them away with her wand. “Magic does what it wants, it seems. Every magic user is different, so it appears in many different ways.”
“So is magic sentient then?” Izuku wondered aloud. “Is it okay to use it then?”
His mother gave a small shrug. “I wouldn’t call it sentient, so much as unpredictable. But with proper learning, it becomes more and more predictable, and easier to use. That is why we have schools like Hogwarts, after all.”
“I was wondering about that too,” Izuku admitted. “How does one get accepted into Hogwarts? I mean, how do the teachers know who’s magical, and who isn’t? Especially with muggleborns and squibs.” He’d done research into that subject, and like everything else, found frustratingly little on the subject. It seemed some people were born with magic, and some weren’t. Although the idea of people possibly being exiled from their communities for not having magic was uncomfortably familiar.
Mother folded her hands on her lap. “If what I’ve heard is true, there’s a magical quill and book, charmed by the founders of Hogwarts themselves, that are able to detect when a child is magical, and write their names down. Apparently, they haven’t been wrong yet.”
“Wow.” Izuku thought about that. “I wonder what sort of charm they used to do that?”
“That I don’t know.” Mother shook her head, smiling. “But what I do know is that you can continue your reading tomorrow. For now, it really is bedtime.”
Izuku pouted.
———————————————————
Izuku always knew technology had been held back by the appearance of quirks, but now that he was so far in the past, he was seeing it firsthand, and the shock of it was even greater.
While technology hadn’t progressed to the point it was at in his past life, it was actually pretty close, with similar cars, radios, and television. Cell phones and the internet weren’t a thing yet, but with the way things were improving, it would only be a matter of time.
Even more interesting than that, however, was the fact that wizards were way way far behind when it came to technology. Sure, they had radio and trains, and could replace things like phones with talking through fires, but wizarding society as a whole was still super far behind!
Izuku had searched their library for information on wizarding technology, but couldn’t find anything. He decided to ask his dad about it.
“Technology, hmm?” Dad stroked his chin, pondering the question. “That’s a very interesting question. Sorry we don’t have any books on it.” He brightened, and lifted his head up. “Oh, I know! How about we go to the London Public Library, and see if they have anything there?”
“Isn’t that a muggle library?” It hadn’t been a big shock to find out he was now living in England; he’d been speaking English this whole life, after all. Still, it was a big weird, walking out of the house and into the English countryside, like something out of a storybook.
“Sure it is,” Dad agreed. “But there’s a magical section hidden from muggle eyes there as well.”
“That sounds so awesome!” Izuku couldn't help but bounce up and down. “Yeah, let’s go there and see if they have anything.”
They took floo powder to get to London, which was still both neat and somewhat terrifying. Once there, they walked the few blocks to the library, Dad holding Izuku’s hand the whole way there. Izuku looked around at the rows and rows of books, itching to get his hands on them. However, his dad led him to a door in the back, which everyone else seemed to be overlooking.
They entered to find even more shelves filled with books. These ones, however, were flying off the shelves and into people’s hands of their own accord. The people reading the books were wearing robes of all sorts of bright colors, some of which almost hurt to look that.
That was okay, of course. Izuku would much rather look at the books than the people reading them.
A wizard with a bright green robed glanced up as they approached, looking somewhat disinterested. “Can I help you two?”
Dad smiled at him. “Yes, thank you. We’re looking into wizarding history, technology more specifically. My son’s interested in the topic.” Izuku waved at the man.
The man’s bored expression morphed into one of surprise. “Huh. Not many wizards or witches look into that sort of thing. Usually just as a passing curiosity, or to write some sort of article. Follow me then.” He lead them off into a corner, where the books all looked dusty and less used. “Hope you find what you’re looking for.”
“Thanks!” Izuku waved at him. He gave a short nod back and walked away.
———————————————————
When Izuku was six, he finally decided to test out One for All, to see if he still had his quirk or not. It was obvious that quirks as a whole didn’t exist in this world, at least not yet. But he had to try and see if his still worked.
It was late at night when he decided to test if out, after Mother and Dad had both gone to sleep and he was alone in his room. Izuku slipped out of bed and onto the soft carpets that covered his room.
He focused as hard as he could on the feeling One for All gave him, how it felt with all of that power rushing through his veins. Izuku clenched his fists and waited.
At first, nothing happened. But slowly, green sparks started to fly around his body’s coursing through his veins like an old friend. It was light, weaker than it had even been before. But it was there. If Izuku had to guess, he was able to use less than one percent of One for All at the moment. But the fact that he could use it at all was encouraging.
———————————————————
Despite the equal feeling of being loved he received from each, were many differences between the Midoriya family and the Potter family. Besides the fact that he lived with two parents instead of one, and the fact that while Mom was making good money as a middle class citizen, the Potters were sitting pretty on a massive fortune, there was the parents themselves.
Euphemia Potter - Mother - was beautiful for her age, especially considering she’d had Izuku when she was around forty. She had long flowing dark red hair, speckled  with strands of gray. While she was equally kind, Mother was much more self assured than Mom had been, radiating confidence. More than a few times, Izuku wondered guiltily if that had to do with the fact that he was born magical in this world, but quirkless in the previous one. Pictures and stories, however, told a different story, one that said Mother had always been like this. He hoped it was just that.
Fleamont Potter was just a few years older than his wife, with smooth salt and pepper hair and sharp hazel eyes hidden behind glasses. Izuku couldn’t exactly compare him to his previous father, as he didn’t know the man, but a huge difference from his previous life was that while he had taken his looks from his mother then, now they came almost completely from Dad. It still shocked him everytime he looked in the mirror, expecting green hair but seeing messy black.
Another major thing that set the Potters apart from Mom, however, was that the Potters had lots of friends. Lots and Lots of friends.
“Come on Sweet.” Mother gently pulled him along. After weeks of pleading, She and Dad had agreed to take Izuku on a broomstick ride, which had proven to be even more of a thrill than he’d imagined. Now that they were at their destination, however, his nerves came rearing up, threatening to consume him.
“What if he doesn’t like me?” Izuku voiced his hesitant thoughts. “What if we get off on the wrong foot, what if I say something dumb and he thinks I’m an idiot, what if-“
“It won’t be like that Sweet, I promise,” Mother assured him. “I’ve met Frank before, he’s a very nice young boy, and only about a year older than you. I’m sure you’ll get along splendidly.”
That would be nice, except the anxieties wouldn’t leave him. They walked up to the front steps of the Longbottom’s house, a huge estate that almost rivaled their own.
The door opened as they approached, and a small creature in rags appeared at the door.
“Miss Augusta and master Frank are waiting for you, Sirs and Madam.” The thing spoke with a deep croaky voice, as it bowed them inside. Mother thanked it kindly as they passed.
“What was that?” Izuku wondered.
“A house elf,” Dad explained. “They work for some rich wizarding families.”
Izuku glanced back at the house elf. “Why’s he wearing rags?”
“They hate clothes. Giving a house elf clothes is essentially firing them, which they consider a great failure on their part. Ah, Augusta!” Dad spread his arms out wide as a sharp looking woman approached, kissing her on the cheek in greeting. The greeting she and Mother shared was equally warm.
“It’s about time you visited. Your son is already six, and I’ve barely met him.” Augusta Longbottom leaned down to meet Izuku’s eyes. “You must be James. You’ve grown since I last saw you.”
Izuku didn’t remember seeing her before, but he nodded his head politely anyways. “Thank you ma’am.”
“So polite! He and Frank will get along splendidly. Frank!” At his mother’s call, a boy came thumping down the stairs, and locked eyes with Izuku. Frank was tall for his age, with brown hair and curious eyes.
Izuku gave a shy wave. “Hi. I’m James.”
Frank smiled. “Hello! It’s nice to meet you.”
Mother gave his hand a squeeze. “Why don’t you two get to know each other better?”
“Right.” Augusta nodded firmly. “Frank, give him a tour of the estate. Be sure to ask what he wants to see the most.”
“Okay.” Frank gave Izuku a smile and motioned for him to follow. Izuku walked with him as their parents talked in the background. “Is there anything you want to see?”
Izuku rubbed the back of his head. “Well, what do you have? I mean, this is your house, after all. Well, actually if you have a lot of books I would love to see them. I’ve read almost all the books in my house, which is both great and frustrating because not many books talk about how magic actually works. And you’d think they’d have something on it in different magical libraries, but it’s like not many wizards seem to care how anything works, and isn’t that weird? I mean-” Izuku cut himself off when he saw Frank staring at him with wide eyes. He winced. So much for making a good first impression. “Sorry, I tend to ramble a lot.”
“It’s fine, that’s not-” Frank cut himself off. “Midoriya?”
Oh.
Well this just got a lot more interesting.

Make Every Moment Last by osakakitty
( E | 6,885 | 1/1 )
There are days where Izuku Midoriya wakes in a different world. It is usually a world very similar to his own, but with noticeable changes. The thing that changes the most is Katsuki Bakugo. Sometimes he's a friend, sometimes he's not, and sometimes he's something else entirely.
Canon-Divergent story where Midoriya has the uncontrollable ability to travel to parallel universes. He sleeps in one, and may wake up in another. By seeing through the eyes of many different 'Izuku Midoriya,' he learns things about himself and Bakugo.
Caught Looking by EAter ( E | 6,537 | 1/1 )
He hadn’t meant to look, but once he did, he couldn’t stop. Izuku always knew Katsuki was attractive, in a sort of removed, passive way. He’s obnoxiously fit- with good posture and clear skin and those sharp, dangerous eyes.
Really, it’s a wonder Izuku hadn’t stopped to stare sooner.

“Alright, buddy,” Katsuki says, swatting at the weeping guy with the broom. “Time to clear out.”
--
AU where Bakugou works at the cinema and Izuku is the cinema-goer who keeps coming in to cry at sad movies
Unhealthy Fixations by Thesis  ( E | 12,522 | 1/1 )
Izuku is an adult who knows better than to crush on his childhood bully. AND YET.
A Helping Hand. by theweakestthing  ( E | 4,248 | 1/1 )
Knees to the floor, no matter how hard he tried to get back on his feet his legs wouldn't move, not in the other's presence. His body wanted him on the floor, his body wanted him to open his mouth and beg, that wasn't him at all. That wasn't who Bakugou was, he wouldn't put his face to the floor for anyone.
Of all the people to force him to his knees, Midoriya was possibly the last person in the universe he'd ever want to do that for. The thought alone that the other was an alpha was surprising, maybe if he had the presence of mind to examine his interactions with Midoriya he might have been kicking himself, it wasn't like he cared it just seemed to him that the universe was working against him somehow.
He'd had a very long string of luck, now it seemed that he'd finally run out.
Mechanical Bull by warschach  ( E | 27,573 | 1/1 )
Katsuki has a track record of bad choices, it's a condition, but Izuku might be the one choice that's right.
Playgrounds and playing fields by Stars1Are1Metaphors  ( E | 16,872 | 1/1 )
It starts as a game. Doctor and nurse, they call it. They’re childhood friends and there isn’t anyone they trust more than each other.
But somewhere down the line Bakugou and Midoriya end up in a very… complicated relationship.
[Underage]
catharsis by dollcewrites  ( E | 14,976 | 1/1 )
It's been six years since Izuku graduated.
It's been six years since he confessed to his childhood friend; his classmate and his inspiration.
It's been six years since he deleted Bakugou's number, asked his friends not to mention the name, spent every last effort of his heart turning off the TV and averting his eyes from the newspapers.
It's been six, long, long years since he gave up on Katsuki Bakugou ever loving him back.
all choked up by heroin__e  ( E | 5,318 | 1/1 )
Bakugou Katsuki had a habit of turning away from the heard. At 16, he does this by coming to terms with wanting, desperately, to see his childhood friend cry.
[Fake Dub-Con]
spilling over every side by failbender  ( E | 5,618 | 1/1 )
No good deed goes unpunished, not when there's a crazy lady with a complex and Lust Quirk parading around the city. By now, Katsuki should probably be used to things blowing up in his face.
[Dub-Con]
Sour Silk by BrightEyesEren  ( E | 6,116 | 1/1 )
Midoriya Izuku starts to receive random gifts at his door. Chaos ensues when he realises he has a sugar daddy.
Chapter 3 & Chapter 9 of How Long Will This Last by osakakitty  ( E | 2,489 | 2 out of 12 )
A series of short scenes based on prompts asked by my followers on tumblr. Will be updated infrequently. Whenever I have time to fill a prompt, I will do so as soon as possible!
Prompt 3: “Tell me to go and I will, but if you ask me to stay I’ll never leave you again.”
Prompt 9: “Can I kiss you?”
Procrastination by capncapnk  ( E | 5,458 | 1/1 )
But it is still surprising to see his more-than-friend-but-also-lover-he-guesses in his office seeking attention though Izuku already turned him down.
Usually he'll get a text of 'wyd?' followed by a time and place if Izuku responds with a confirmation, and silence if he's busy.
Or slammed into the wall in the agency's shower for a quickie if no one was around, which despite his anxiety, he often acquiesces to.
There was also the time at the annual Pro Hero Gala that Katsuki discovered the bathrooms had their own individual stalls with thick walls that reached the ceiling and shoved him into one, to which he definitely protested because he was not fucking in a public bathroom. 'Germs, Kacchan', was his reason, and of course Katsuki made sure to make fun of him and his 'germaphobia' for a solid month after that.
Drinking Watermelon by warschach  ( E | 8,906 | 1/1 )
For whatever reason, maybe divine fate, Izuku turned and looked over his shoulder and waved to them.
Katsuki’s heart full on stopped right then, and his fingers forgot their duty on the rails, and his body neglected its job to keep Katsuki balanced.
Izuku’s summer sweet smile fell into concern as Katsuki went airborne and cracked his skull on the porch.
or Katsuki works as a camp counselor, and Izuku is a boy made of summer heat and sunlight.
Head Game Strong by InfiniteTeal  ( E | 3,284 | 1/1 )
Some of the students from class 1-A decide to go out to dinner together for the evening. Midoriya hadn't planned to joined them, but it's no surprise that he's under the table fooling around with Bakugou. It sounded like a good idea at first, but Bakugou has a hard time keeping it together when Midoriya gives him a secret blowjob while everyone else is sitting around him.
[Underage]
Sick Like Animals by osakakitty  ( E | 3,848 | 1/1 )
Whenever Katsuki Bakugo is struck by his seasonal heat, Izuku Midoriya agrees to help him until it ends. He takes Bakugo into his care, providing him with the stimulation he needs. One morning, after a night of light sex, Bakugo unfortunately finds his heat unquenched.
Fantasy AU in which Katsuki Bakugo is half-beast, and Izuku Midoriya is an alchemist in-training. They both have a mutual understanding and need and for each other. Sex ensues.
where i feel you the most by shousanki  ( E | 3,899 | 1/1 )
In which Katsuki comes 1) to terms with Izuku's screwy biology almost as unpredictable as the person himself, and 2) down Izuku's warm and willing throat.
cliff's edge by umbrage  ( E | 3,061 | 1/1 )
Bakugou is sure there's a perfectly alpha-centric explanation to his deviancy.
Or maybe, there isn't, and that's okay, too.
Scoville Score by oisiflaneur  ( E | 5,701 | 1/1 )
Midoriya's been acting strange lately. His friends try to figure out why.
It's... Not why they think.
times like these by dalyeau  ( E | 3,333 | 1/1 )
Okay, so 'cute' isn't exactly a word in Bakugou Katsuki's vocabulary, and he has about a million things to call Deku that definitely aren't cute. They walk the wide spectrum between insults, constructive criticism, neutral observations, and compliments, and none of them really change the fact that Katsuki gets in bed with this guy at least thrice a week regardless. Deku’s face is average in every possible way, sometimes mildly attractive at best, and his body is strong, compact, and capable; his hands are a scarred ugly mess, his muscles hard-worked and nice to touch. So yeah, ‘cute’? Not exactly a description for Deku, in Katsuki's opinion.
His ass, however.
Sound Of You (With Me) by linkami1379  ( E | 8,068 | 1/1 )
Katsuki starts his second year at Yuuei High School like he started his first one: full of expletives, dedicated to becoming Number One, and friends with the shit-stain Eijirou. But a new student at Yuuei will tilt the axis of Katsuki's world, just a little.

Alleyway Affair by FreshMilko  ( E | 2,343 | 1/1 )
When you’re both tied for number two hero, aiming at number one, credit is everything. So when the media credits your capture to your arch rival, well, Bakugou thinks he has the right to object.
20 y/o Bakugou fucks Deku in an alley. Deku is sassy as hell. A brick wall pays a heavy price.
If you give me your hand, I'll surrender my heart by soulstring  ( E | 5,254 | 1/1 )
“We could be fucking. I could be having the greatest sex ever but no! My husband is an idiot and now my dick is about to fall off. Why the fuck did I marry you?”
It’s a rhetorical question but Izuku still answers naively with a, “Because you love me?”
“For tax benefits!” Katsuki wails, raising his hands to the ceiling.
In which Izuku and Katsuki are no longer teenagers but still horny, in love, and a mess.
Series Part 1 of weddings, receptions, and other plans gone awry

[Underage]
Dream Come True by shuppet44  ( E | 7,955 | 1/1 )

But he's not sure if the moans Izuku is making in his sleep are improving or worsening his situation. One thing's for sure, he wants to hear more.

twisted by tusslee   ( E | 2,774 | 1/1 )
And, he thinks, it’s probably not even love. It’s likely just some twisted infatuation that he’s developed, his happiness a pavlovian response to Izuku’s tears. Maybe it’s because he is a sadist like Kirishima said.
Maybe he’s just a little fucked up.
“I’ll take that as a yes. That’s a strange kink, Kacchan, but I’d let you make me cry.” Izuku rocks back on his heels and tries to get Katsuki to meet his eye. “If you wanted. Do you want to?”

I Run From You by Morpheel ( E | 6,482 | 1/1 )
The forest was a dangerous place.
Anyone with half of a brain could deduce that much; yet to a prey species, this rule held especially so. The reach of woods was a diverse and lively ecosystem, thriving with both hybrid and animal alike. As cruel as it was- the food chain largely didn’t care whether you were hybrid or beast.
Izuku Midoriya knew this especially so. - - - What's a rabbit hybrid to do when cornered within the clutches of a savage, hungry wolf? Anything he can to escape. (Though his heat makes this a much harder prospect than expected)

Perfect Imperfections
@twinstarsweek #2
Prompt: Secrets/ Protect/ Hands/ Fear
Prompts chosen: Secrets/ Fear
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
Katsuki's POV
It was blatantly obvious that Deku was avoiding me.
Every time we talked, he would get all jittery and glance around the place frantically, as if searching for an exit.
In school, if I turned a corner and found him walking towards me, he would whirl around dash the other way.
It was as if he was hiding something from me, something that he desperately didn't want me to know.
And it was starting to piss me off.
I wanted to know what was going on badly, for my own piece of mind, but I didn't trust myself to keep my cool if I talked about it to Deku.
All my thoughts would fly out of my mouth the moment I opened it and in the worst way posssible.
Besides, we had only just started dating and I didn't want to ruin things with a sudden outburst.
He might be going through some stuff right now and need his space to think things through. Yeah, that's probably it.
Or maybe he's starting to realise he doesn't like you anymore. A voice suggested in my head
He might be re-thinking his descision to be with you right now Added another.
He's probably already found someone else and is secretly going out with them
Yeah, why would he want to stay with an awful person like you?
All my doubts and insecurities circled round my head like hawks and I found myself fearing the moment when- if- Deku finally tells me what's wrong.
What if he is cheating on me?
I'll be mad, of course, but how can I blame him when he's in a relationship with an asshole like me?
Betrayal, sorrow and confusion fogged my logical thinking with impossible senarios that I shouldn't be thinking about, but I couldn't help it.
I should trust Deku more, trust that he wouldn't do something like that. He...he couldn't.
But then...he should trust me more as well, right? Tell me what's been bothering him, even if he does need space at least he could fucking explain to me!
That sadness soon turned into anger as I clenched my fists and thought about the unfairness of the situation.
Why should I be so worried about this whole situation when he is probably not even batting an eye to how I feel!
Probably hanging out with that new dude, having a romantic dinner or something and bitching about me.
I bet it's fucking half n' half, he's been unusually friendly with Deku this past week. Even offering him extra help in class!
That's it. I've had enough! I'm gonna find this shit out once and for all.
~
The next day, I went to Deku's house and rang the bell, hoping he would answer the door and they could get it over with as soon as possible.
Instead, it was his mom that answered it.
"Oh, hello Katsuki! Are you here for Izuku?" Aunty Inko greeted him with a grin.
"Yeah, is he home?" I answered, smiling slightly, despite the situation, because Aunty Inko's cheerfullness was contagious.
"Oh no, he's not here. Would you like to come in for tea, though?" She offered.
"Ah, no thank you, Aunty." I politely declined, "But could you tell me where Deku could be right now?"
"Hmm..." She thought for a moment, "I think he might be at the park, but I'm not sure. That child never tells me anything these days."
"Ok, thank you. Have a nice day, Aunty!" He waved and turned to leave.
There was only one park near by, so I assumed she was talking about that one.
I strolled through the gates and scanned my surrounding, searching for Deku but I found that quite difficult because the place was pretty big.
The entrance area branched off into three long paths, one forward, one to my left and the the other to my right. I couldn't really see much down each path because of the obnoxious amount of trees and plants blocking my vision, so I decided the left path will do.
It led me to a playround littered with children as well as swings and slides. I glanced around the place for a familiar mop of green hair but found nothing.
Sighing, I went back and took the right path which led me to a secluded pond area where a lot of couples were enjoying a romantic stroll and elderly people feeding the ducks.
I treked round the area and still no Deku.
I was beginning to get frustrated at this point. All I wanted to do was talk and get rid of this anxiety growing in me and I'm sent on a wild fucking goose chase?
Returning to the junction again, I took the final path forward. There was a huge field at the end of it with people playing various sports and an even bigger club house behind it.
I was about to wander on to the field to continue my search, when I heard his familiar cheerful voice behind me.
I spun around and found him talking to Uraraka and Kirishima (what were they doing here?) at the far corner of the field.
Exhaling in relief, I made my way towards them. I guess they were to distracted with whatever it is they were talking about to see me approaching because when I rested my hand on Deku's shoulder to get his attention, he jumped and was startled by my presence.
The other two finally looked at me as well with startled and uneasy looks on there faces.
"What's with that face?" I asked, confused by their expressions.
Shitty hair was about to answer when Deku interrupted him, "Oh, um, w-we were just talking about- uh math! That's all! they really hate the subject."
"Uh huh yeah ok." I dismissed it, not believing him but I didn't really care anyway, "Hey, Deku, we need to talk."
"Wh-Now?"
"Yes, now." I tried to grab his arm but he moved out of the way.
"Sorry, we have to do a thing now. I'll talk to you later, BYE!" He said and quickly dashed off with his friends close behind.
Well, that was one way to get out of a conversation.
I got out of my shock and ran after them, wanting to know what the actual fuck was going on.
They ran across the field and into the club house with me in pursuit. They closed the door behind them so that I wouldn't know where they were going.
But they were really bad at keeping quiet and I knew which stairs they took when I eventually opened the door.
Taking the same stairs, I yelled at them to stop but they wouldn't listen. When they were on the first floor they went through the third door into a dark hall of some kind.
Reaching the first floor myself, I stopped to catch my breath before proceeding to go through the same door.
Opening it, I was met with darkness, however I strode inside without bothering to waste time to find the switches.
"I know you guys are in here!" I yelled, "Why the fuck are ypu running away? You think I wouldn't follow you!?"
The door suddenly slammed shut behind me.
"Can someone just explain what the hell is going on-"
"SURPRISE!!"
They lights flicked on and I had to blink a few times to get used to the sudden light.
When I adjusted, my eyes focused on all my friends; Mina, Sero, Kirishima, Kaminari, Iida, Uraraka and Todoroki, smiling at me expectantly as well as a load of decorations around the room.
"What the hell..."
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!"
Oh.
"It's my birthday today?" I asked.
Deku stepped forward, laughing. "Of course it is! Don't tell me you forgot!"
"I forgot." I admitted.
"We thought you would've caught on by now, dude." Pikachu said, "I didn't think you were that dumb..."
"I'm not dumb!" I yelled defensively, "I just had a lot on my mind, ok!?"
Kirishima brought me a slice of the cake I hadn't noticed yet. It was orange and black and had a really badly drawn picture of my face with 'Happy Birthday!' written at the bottom.
"It's chocolate." He said while handing it to me.
"And we got you all these gifts!" Sero added, pointing to the pile of presents next to the table.
I was too shocked to say anything.
So...the ridiculous conclusions I jumped to were just ridiculous conclusions anyway?
I surprised everyone by laughing. Laughing in relief.
"What's so funny?" Mina asked.
"What's funny...is that I thought Deku was cheeting on me." I replied, still laughing.
Now Deku joined my laughter too.
"That is the most stupidest thing you have ever said." He said after his laughing fit, "Why would I ever do that?"
I stopped my laughing and answered seriously, "I don't know, 'cause I'm awful? 'Cause you deserve someone better?"
"Well, no one's perfect." He stated, cupping my face gently, "And I love you for your imperfections because it's what makes you, you."
"That's a lie," I said, resting my hands on his hips, "You're perfect."
"Awww." Everyone cooed.
"Shut up." I said, covering our faces with my jacket as we kissed.

It’s my boy Todoroki’s birthday today! Or, well, it was yesterday, but it’s still only 2:30 AM and I haven’t been to sleep yet so it counts.
@sweater-guy I didn’t really mean to base this one off you at all, but then you made that post about dancing and it was too perfect not to steal, I mean borrow. Also, if you don’t know why Tododeku are living together now or who Mighty Dog is, that’s because I wrote this yesterday and didn’t tag you because I don’t wanna assume you want to keep up with these stories if they’re not based off your posts. (also let’s be real, it’s because I’m a lesbian, fight me)
By the time Shouto gets home, he’s tired and just wants to curl up in bed with a book and Mighty Dog. Izuku too, if he’s home, but he said he to help Uraraka and Iida with something and wouldn’t be back until late. It’s been a long, difficult day and he’s fully prepared to pretend it never happened.
He’s not really disappointed when he walks into his apartment and is greeted by the smell of his favorite meal and dim lighting before their dog even has a chance to bound up and demand a hello, though. However, that doesn’t stop Mighty from running over, his broken leg flinging awkwardly to one side with every step but barely slowing him down, and whining, taking Shouto’s attention from trying to figure out why Izuku surprised him with a romantic meal to lean down and scratch him behind the ears with several low, “Hello there”s.
“Happy birthday,” Izuku greets and Shouto looks up at him in confusion. He stops scratching Mighty to pull out his phone, checking the date, and the dog immediately starts whining and abandons him for Izuku to get some proper loving. “Yes, it’s your birthday.” The laughter in Izuku’s voice confuses Shouto even further, like he’s supposed to keep track of that kind of thing.  Izuku crouches to pet Mighty and hides his smile behind the dog’s head.
“How did you know?” Shouto asks and it comes out almost accusatory rather than the pure dumbfounded that he’s feeling. “I’m sure I never mentioned it.”
Izuku laughs into his Mighty’s neck before standing and coming over to Shouto, Mighty growing bored with them and going to his bed by the table. “Your mom called. She wanted to see if we’d come over for dinner this weekend to celebrate,” he explains once he reaches Shouto, wrapping his arms around Shouto’s waist to pull him into a hug. “I didn’t have time to prepare much, but I made your favorite dinner so I thought we could at least have a nice stay at home date together.”
Shouto ducks his head to hide his blush in Izuku’s neck and murmurs, “That is my favorite kind.” Shouto feels the resulting laugh before he hears it, Izuku’s shoulder shaking against his chin a dead giveaway. Izuku lingers in the hug for another few minutes before separating until their only point of contact is their joined hands. It’s only when he follows Izuku to their table and sits that he notices the classical music quietly playing from Izuku’s phone. “You really went for a restaurant vibe, huh?”
Izuku grins and shrugs a shoulder half heartedly, “Sadly, Mighty Might couldn’t get the hang of being a waiter. I nearly had it perfect,” he laughs and Mighty Dog growls at his words as if he can understand them. “Also, if it ever comes up, ours is not the kind of dog that enjoys wearing clothes.”
With a startled chuckle, Shouto looks at the dog laying in his bed then follows Izuku’s thumb when he points it at a rumpled piece of cloth on the island between their dining table and the kitchen. He stands and goes to pick it up, but the second he lays his hand on it, Mighty gets up and darts out of the room as fast as he is capable with his leg still in a cast. Shouto laughs even harder when it unfolds before him and he is met with a full body dog costume designed to look like a three piece suit. “It came with a bow-tie that’s still attached to his collar,” Izuku shares and his face is red with Shouto looks back at him.
“You’re adorable,” Shouto points out, setting the garment down and going back to the table to plant a kiss on his boyfriend’s lips for no other reason than that he can. “You said something about zaru soba?” he asks when he pulls away and Izuku looks like he’s ready to combust.
“R-right” Izuku stutters while Shouto goes around to sit back down across from him, “I wasn’t sure if you’d actually want it what with it being freezing outside, but I know it’s your favorite and I thought with your hyper-thermoregulation you might like it year round. If you wa-”
Shouto almost wants to let him keep going, just because he likes seeing how far Izuku’s muttering can go sometimes, but he feels bad and interrupts with, “It sounds perfect. Honestly. Thank you.”
Izuku nods as he dishes them both up a helping and can’t help it when he starts talking again. It’s not really about anything this time, and Shouto dons a small smile when he does, so he keeps going and not worry about it. Eventually, Izuku manages to coax Shouto into talking about his day and he frowns when he hears that it wasn’t very good, but relaxes again when Shouto says it was made 100% better when he got home.
When they finish eating, Shouto tries to gather their dishes to wash them, but he’s stopped before he has the chance. “Nope. You’re the birthday boy and I have more plans for tonight,” Izuku says when he knocks Shouto’s hand away from his plate and Izuku takes all their dishes to just put in the sink for the moment. Shouto watches him while he comes back and turns up the volume on his phone. “Up.” Izuku gestures his command with his hands and Shouto follows, though he thinks he knows where this is going and doesn’t love it.
Stepping into Shouto’s space, Izuku places his hands on Shouto’s shoulders, Shouto’s instinctively coming to rest on Izuku's hips, and starts moving before Shouto can even prepare. Neither of them are dancers, and it shows when Izuku tries to lead them into some kind of ballroom dancing and Shouto immediately steps on him. “I’m sorry,” he mutters, his face burning and his head falling into Izuku’s hair since the smaller man didn’t leave any space between them to bring his hands to his cheeks. Izuku laughs it off and takes another step, surely trying to recreate something he saw on TV. Shouto lifts his face and looks down to Izuku’s while they attempt dancing. Izuku keeps glancing between Shouto’s face and their feet as they move, a wrinkle in his brow the only sign on how hard he’s focusing on where he thinks his feet should go and the next time Shouto steps on him it’s really not his fault because the wrinkle is just too cute. Again, a blush coats his face and an apology falls from his lips, and Izuku grins at the whole display. Their flailing attempts at dancing certainly isn’t helped when Mighty comes back into the room and tries to play along with whatever fun game they seem to be playing.
By the time they give up on really dancing and just sway together, Shouto’s apologies have devolved into groans every time he steps on Izuku’s toes, Izuku has long since abandoned his focus on their footwork, and Mighty has grown bored of this human game and laid down with his head propped up on the arm of the couch to watch them. “I took a class today. I was probably foolish thinking that’d be enough to pull this off,” Izuku mumbles when he steps even further into Shouto’s space and lays his head on his boyfriend’s shoulder.
“You took a class?” Shouto asks and he rests his cheek against the top of Izuku’s head.
Izuku hums quietly before stating, “I thought it might be fun. And I don’t really know how to celebrate other people’s birthdays.”
“Neither do I,” Shouto murmurs, “I don’t think I’ve ever done anything for my birthday. Even before Mom went to the hospital, I don’t remember us ever doing much of anything to celebrate.”
Izuku nods and Shouto frowns when his head is forced to move with it. “That’s what I figured. So I wanted to make your first one special. It was always just me and Mom, though, and we celebrated our birthdays with our favorite meals followed by our favorite movies. I’m not sure what you’re supposed to do for friends, let alone boyfriends. And I don’t know if you have a favorite movie since you didn’t get to watch them much growing up.”
Shouto closes his eyes and just sways for a moment before answering. “I think that sound perfect. Anything with you is perfect, actually.” They sway in quiet for a couple more minutes. “My favorite movie is Spirited Away.”
When Shouto feels Izuku’s smile against his neck, he knows Izuku is remember their first date, going to see that movie when the theater in town was doing a special screening. “Then we’ll watch that tonight,” Izuku offers, pulling away slightly to look up at Shouto.
With a smile, Shouto nods and squeezes his arms that are wrapped around Izuku’s waist a little tighter. “Sure, but let’s just do this for a little while longer.”
Izuku forgets about the present he got Shouto until they’re in bed and he’s about to fall asleep. He scrambles out of bed and goes back to the living room, scoops the package up from where it lays on the floor by the couch, and when he comes back Shouto is blinking blearily at him. “I wasn’t sure what to get you as a present, but I thought this might do,” he offers when he holds it out for Shouto to take.
It’s with slow, sleep heavy hands that Shouto receives and unwraps his present. When he sees what’s inside, tears well up in his eyes and spill over before he can stop them. “I love it, thank you,” Shouto murmurs, and when he looks up at Izuku, the man’s smile is bright but there’s a hint of nervousness in his eyes like he thinks Shouto could possibly hate this present.
Using his thumb, Izuku wipes the tears from Shouto’s face and he leans down to kiss his cheeks where they fell. “I’m glad you like it.”
Shouto stares at the present in his hand for a few moments more while Izuku crawls into bed behind him and puts his chin on Shouto’s shoulder to look at the framed picture together. In it is Shouto, Izuku, and Mighty Dog at the vet when they went to pick him up. Mighty is between them, his head turned toward Izuku to cover his face in kisses. Izukus entire face is lit up with his joy, his eyes squeezed shut but his mouth open wide to let out all his laughter. Shouto is looking at the two of them with an emotion he’s still afraid to name clear to see on his face and his arm hanging loosely over Mighty’s back.
