Something I realized when watching Part 4 of Jojo:

Hair is such a fundamental part of this story.

Josuke's hair correlating with his backstory, and being the source of his inspiration.

Yukako's hair being a representation of her love (Love's Deluxe)

Koichi's hair changing to represent every time his stand changed.

(i.e. his hair being slicked back when it was an egg, being out at Act1, a flat top at act 2 and once again out and free at act 3)

Yoshikage Kira's hair changing as well when a new plotpoint arose.

(i.e. blonde when he was the initial simple lifed serial killer, Black when he changed his identity, and salt and pepper when he gained Bites the Dust)

I can't think of any other examples, but I just think it's a really cool detail because hair kind of does showcase a lot about a person.

This ask has been rolling around in my head every now and then. While I usually don’t do Yandere reader, but I think this works with Yukako. Kinda short since it’s really just short headcanons, and making darling-chan a Yandere themselves almost makes it easier on themselves?

The two of you would end up being the ultimate power couple, a bond stronger than steel. While having the guile of a snake, nothing shakes the two of you spending time together. It’s almost a normal relationship, however from an outside standpoint there’s something off about both of you. Oozing creepiness that no one could quite pinpoint.

Every lick of a rumor or an unfavorable opinion on either one of you almost always ended up with someone getting injured. Whether someone ended up falling downstairs or having their head be bashed into a desk depends on who heard first. As long as you cherish Yukako, which you do unwaveringly, everything is smooth sailing.

Being Yandere yourself around here has an extreme advantage, making Yukako more determined to have you in a relationship and stay in one. The way you don’t hesitate to take care of someone when a person tries to get in between you both is another bonus in her mind.

You do your best in practically worshiping the woman, and know every faucet of her character. Her likes and dislikes, who she loathes and who she finds nice. Though you keep a sharp eye on who she seems to be even neutral of course. Such as Koichi, if you managed to divert her obsession from him to you.

“Those e/c eyes are so cute when you look at me like that” She told you one afternoon.

You’d mention her beautiful hair shining in the sun, and the shade of her eyes glimmering in the sun. Mentioning you both should go out on a date together. You would gladly pay of course, while most people who were aware of your relationship and your personalities would steer clear of both of you.

Imagine; baseball game

Your friend decides to take you with them to a baseball game. During the one of the breaks your friend leaves you to use the bathroom. Your left alone sitting next to three teenage boy that look your age. Everyone's attention turns to the Jumbotron screens to see you and the guy next to you on the kiss cam. You felt your face flush; you now noticed how attractive he was. The boy had a black pompadour with purple highlights, plump lips, he was muscular and had a nice fashion style. The boy turns to you with flushed cheeks, flashing a cheeky, yet nervous, smile. “Do you want to…” he questioned, eyes glancing to the Jumbotron. “Sure,” you answer shyly. The kiss you share is sweet and quick, just enough to feel butterflies in your stomach.

After, you could feel his eyes on you. You most definitely heard the teases from his friends as well.

The game finishes and you and your friend get up to leave. However, you’re stopped by the boy. “Hey!” he smiles, you could hear his heart drumming in his chest even though there was a gap between the both of you. “Do mind- could I have your number? Or would you like to go out for dinner sometime?”
