YANDERE MHA 'YOU ARE NOT THE FATHER!'
ft. Midoriya, Bakugo, Todoroki, Aizawa
TW: OBSESSION, YANDERE THEMES, ACCUSATIONS OF CHEATING, KIDNAPPING, METIONED MURDER, MENTIONED BABY-GO-BYE-BYE BUT LIKE SUBTLY i hope
Thanks for the ask!
READ PART 1 HERE
MIDORIYA IZUKU
Oh dear...that's certainly a problem. The birth of your first child was something he was looking forward to with a lot of hope. Hope that seeing him caring for the child would spark a love for him finally. Unfortunately, it's obvious the child wasn't his, and they didn't look like you either.
You had cheated on him. Well, not actually. In truth, by the time Izuku kidnapped you, you were already pregnant with your current partner, who Izuku got rid of, but none of you were aware of it at the time. But acknowledging that was acknowledging that Izuku's image of a perfect family had shattered and it was all his fault.
So he blames you. Throws all sorts of accusations about you cheating and sneaking out to see other men, and then dumping your bastard baby on him. He refuses to have anything to do with the child and only used them to keep you in line, threatening to get rid of them if you misbehaved. Izuku felt broken. He felt as if everything had taken a sudden wrong turn in his life. He felt like he just lost control of the life he had planned. Everything was going to be perfect, your lives were going to be perfect. Then you had to go and spoil it all.
The only thing you can do at this point is try to make him happy. Maybe if you have a couple of kids that are actually his, he will be willing to forgive you and accept that child as a member of his family.
BAKUGO KATSUKI
Katsuki is angry. But not at you, he's just pissed that he didn't see something like this coming. When that filthy bastard that used to call himself your boyfriend put his hands all over you, how could Katsuki forget? If he had known sooner, he could have done something to stop it before it got too far.
But he's too late now. Worst part is, he has to watch you pay more attention to a brat that isn't even his. Katsuki grudgingly helps with the baby, still a bit resentful that he wasn't the one to knock you up first. The kid starts to grow on him soon. The little brat sort of reminds him of you and he can even pretend it's his for a moment.
It's not too bad, Katsuki decided one night as the baby lay fast asleep on his chest and you curled up next to him on the couch, dozing off as well. Maybe he was cut out for this family shit after all.
TODOROKI SHOTO
Oh boy...
He's relieved that he technically had no part to play in it but he's also very pissed. Who would dare to touch his darling? He hates the thought of anyone being able to impregnate you other than him.
Shoto is literally acting hot and cold, sometimes being helpful and supportive, other times dismissive and harsh. He's not quite sure what to do with another man's baby. All his fears about bringing in a child that has his family traits have disappeared but there's still an actual, living baby to consider.
He tries to get out of his head a bit when he sees you are actually struggling to take care of the baby and of yourself too. All things considered, he still loves you. For now, Shoto will just concentrate on keeping the baby alive and keeping you happy.
AIZAWA SHOTA
He's surprisingly chill about the whole affair. As an underground hero, Shota's seen a lot of people in a lot of different situations. Things like this just happen. While he's definitely surprised, he adapts pretty quickly. He's a pretty good dad, very reliable when you're not feeling a 100%. It really improves your opinion of him and makes you more comfortable around him.
Don't let your guard down though. Shota isn't going to settle for just one kid. Once you're healed, get ready to get pregnant again :)

The inherent romanticism of constantly chasing after the one person who is everything you think you need to be, while they’re chasing after you for the exact same reason, when you two are polar opposites.
Can you imagine being two halves of the same whole the way Katsuki is Victory and Izuku is Hope and together they make the heart of a hero? Constantly being inspired and driven to do and be better because your other half already is and you can’t be left behind?
Nobody is doing it like bakudeku

So we all know that crack-ish theory that midoriya actually doesn’t remember the river scene and bakugo had been obsessing over nothing for the last decade. And I do think that’s really funny if true BUT I also think that, given midoriya’s character and where he seems to be going, it would make SO MUCH SENSE.
Midoriya, right now, is probably thinking that once he loses ofa he’s done, he can’t be a hero anymore, and he’s lost his chance at achieving his dream. I mean, all the good things that have really happened to him have happened since getting ofa, and whenever someone brings up something related to it, it’s always sort of implied to be SINCE getting ofa (Pikahlua has a better explanation on their blog somewhere, if you care to go looking). Now, the only person that knew midoriya before he got ofa is bakugo, who so happens to be on the battlefield right now. The idea is that he’s going to convince izuku he can still be a hero, right, and he’ll have some examples from when they were kids, ie the sludge monster and the river scene. Bakugo has always thought midoriya was this great hero, which is why he obsessed over the river scene so much for the last decade. He thought midoriya knew he was better than him, and was looking down on him. But we all know, as does katsuki now, that he was actually just doing what he knew was right, nevermind actually being a hero. Because a real hero wouldn’t do it for glory or gratification—they’d do it because it’s what’s morally correct and necessary.
Midoriya still probably has it in his mind that he can’t be a hero without a quirk. All might told him he could be one—by giving him a quirk. When bakugo apologized, the wording was *just* vague enough that someone deep in denial (like midoriya) could mistake it for taking back what he said before BECAUSE of the new quirk, not in spite of it, like it actually was meant to be. But in order for this to be true, he’d have to either misunderstand or forget the heroic things he did in the past. Like the river scene.
So, imagine. Midoriya forgot about the river scene because in his mind, it was just another failed attempt to get back his friendship with katsuki. But for bakugo, the person he was helping (saving???? Does it really apply here??) it was actually a HUGE deal and an act of heroism, so significant it would affect him as a person for the next ten years. So bakugo sees midoriya, even quirkless, as a hero because he can remember all the times midoriya acted heroically before getting ofa. Whereas midoriya still believes he never did anything important until getting ofa, and thus thinks he’s about to go back to being a nobody and an outcast.

Don’t y’all love it when a popular tiktok creator is analyzing a character and interpreting it so, so wrong, and him and his dumb ass take is spreading.
Like it was one thing for you to be wrong
ITS ANOTHER THING FOR YOU TO BE WRONG AND MAKING OTHER PEOPLE MORE WRONG
If one more person says that Izuku is “underdeveloped” and that he’s “uninterested in all of his other relationships” and that he “has a power imbalance in his relationships with other characters bc they care more about him than he does them” STOP. PLEASE STOP.
A fundamental part of Izuku’s character: He is an UNRELIABLE NARRATOR. Most of his character is, therefore, told through SUBTEXT.
Izuku doesn’t say that he feels ashamed about his feelings for Katsuki.
But he does say that he thinks they’re gross.
Izuku doesn’t say that he thinks that Toga and her feelings arent human
But he does say that she is the “perfect counter to this quirk”.
THE LIST COULD GO ON.
Izuku is an unreliable narrator in a third person omniscient story (though sometimes mha acts more like a third person objective story? Anyway). That means that the way we do not understand the story is not through a retelling of what is happening to you, the viewer, unreliably—instead it is not telling you the full extent of his character and his thoughts.
To say “izuocha’s relationship is underdeveloped because it’s one sided” is NOT the same as saying “bkdk’s relationship is underdeveloped because it’s one sided”.
Izuku has always been obsessed with Katsuki. At some point the rhetoric being passed around was that it was Katsuki who was underdeveloped and uninterested in the dynamic. Now that rhetoric has been reversed since we’ve seen so much of Katsuki’s POV.
Ochako has always been obsessed with Izuku, NEVER THE OTHER WAY AROUND. In fact, Ochako’s arc even surrounded letting go of those feelings… as literally said in the text. Because that is a textual statement that she makes.
Izuku does not understand how or what Ochako loves in anybody, especially him. She loves a unique sense of personhood, which Izuku has always carried, and of which she saw in the entrance exam.
Izuku does not know how to view things he deems as “girly”, and Ochako very personally CANT be in a relationship with someone that she has realized is very repressed. Her friendships turn from friends to fascination very quickly, into her heroic form. (Think her few moments with Katsuki in that extra, or how disinterested she became of Izuku as she saw him run away from help, and not know how to respond to an apology. Or, hell, how much more interested she became when Himiko was honest with her feelings in their second real confrontation. She even says that she “admires how she can love so freely, and say it with her whole chest”)
LIKE ALL OF THESE THINGS. THIS IS WHY IZUOCHA ISNT DEVELOPED. That’s a purposeful choice in genius writing, at least in my opinion.
Bkdk is a result of Izuku being uninterested in acknowledging said feelings, and this is shown to be different because of the amount of times he has had that imply a deeper emotion or thought that we are not told. Think black whip, controlling your heart solely surrounding katsuki, “my feelings are gross”, the ear piercing scream when katsuki was kidnapped and the “this was a total loss” line, relaxing into katsuki’s arms after the apology, only coming home because of Katsuki, comparing romantic feelings toga had for him and admiration to ALLMIGHT and not katsuki who was “actually in his life”, I COULD GO ON FOR HOURS.
This is absolutely NOT underdeveloped, this is called SHOW NOT TELL. Horikoshi is so purposeful in what he shows vs what he tells. He tells you that ochako and toga are the same, he tells you that katsuki is worried about Izuku, he tells you that katsuki is there to step in when deku can’t handle it on his own, he tells you that ochako has a crush on Izuku, and he tells you that Katsuki is Izuku’s “closest person”.
But he also SHOWS YOU SO MUCH MORE. Unreliable narration is such a key part of Izuku and his character. Izuku doesn’t understand Izuku as much as the audience doesn’t understand him. It’s why I genuinely think most interpretations of his character are wrong, because you really can’t take him at his word. It’s the same reason no one understood katsuki for the longest time, he was in the same circumstances of a character who is only showed to you, not told.
I know i named so many god damn references so if anyone is curious as to what specifically I’m talking about with what, I’ll gladly show what scene I’m referring to. Apparently I can’t remember a damn thing but this manga anyway.

It's funny to me whenever I see polls or other posts about who is more "possessive" and/or "obsessive" between Izuku and Katsuki and then I'll see "Oh, it's Izuku" because...
Only one time we were see him act "possessive" is when Mr. Compress got a hold of Katsuki.
And that's it. That's the only instance I see anyone bring up Izuku being possessive.
Meanwhile, no one can't talk to Izuku, bring up Izuku, look at Izuku, breathe near Izuku without Katsuki popping off. (This is an exaggeration, so fucking chill.)
Bro is nosy as hell AND IT DON'T EVEN BE HIS BUSINESS.
He blew a gasket when Shoto asked a simple question about him and Izuku being childhood friends.
"Eyes on me, Deku." And Izuku don't even be thinking about competition or anything until Katsuki is like that.
Really, until Katsuki actually pokes at him, Izuku be vibing.
We seen both their inner thoughts before, and yes, Izuku has thought about Katsuki before, but not all the time. (Well, Kiya, he's the protagonist, he's supposed to think about saving others and whatnot... OH REALLY, I KNOW!) Hell, he gets mad over Katsuki, yes. Yeah, Katsuki is a trigger for him, I ain't doubting that. He praises Katsuki, but he will praise others, too. This is Izuku Midoriya, we're talking about here!
Now for Katsuki, I'm thinking and I'm thinking really hard about it and I cannot recall a time that Katsuki wasn't thinking about Izuku in some way. I'm sure there are some times, but I honestly can't think of any, but that's just me.
I just really do think it's funny some will say Izuku is the more "possessive" and/or "obsessive" when like out of the two.
Like, again, goes both ways, but either Izuku isn't as he is exaggerated to be (because let's be for real, I don't see him listening on Katsuki's conversations) or he just has a better handle on his feelings or whatever. That's just me, that's my opinion, not arguing about it.

Thoughts on the official translation of 405?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yeah, thoughts abound.
1. Is the official translation of the final line in chapter 405 accurate? No.
2. Regardless, some people think it's inaccurate in really blatant ways that it actually is not. For example, some people think the official translation is changing some explicitly used pronouns around. If there's EVER anything about Japanese that isn't completely clear, it's what the pronouns should be--because the vast majority of them are implied.
3. Re: the "yeah yeah" line, I can conceive of a delivery of the line that does not sound disrespectful. That doesn't mean that's how the translator meant it, and this translator does have a habit of translating Katsuki's rude language with a certain *VIBE* that I don't always agree with--but that doesn't change the fact that Katsuki does speak very rudely and the translator clearly tries to capture that in the way they seem to think is best.
4. It's quite a leap to claim that this official translation is inaccurate due to deliberate malice, which I see a lot of people doing. From what I can tell, the translator just didn't realize the final line is a callback to chapter 322. Without that context, yeah, I can see how it'd be difficult to fully understand what's being said there, because enough of the words are vague or implied that it'd be confusing what Katsuki's talking about without that realization. Katsuki doesn't say "I (ore)" in the line, he says "kocchi (this/here)," which depending on the context can mean "I, we, us over here on this side (of the line, of the argument)." He also doesn't say "Izuku/Deku/that nerd" specifically, he says "aitsu (that guy over there)" with the kanji reading as "One For All." Without the context of chapter 322, it could easily read like "we'll wipe the floor with you where those One For All guys couldn't."
5. Building off #4, we need to be a little more self-aware as fans. When you are a big fan of something, you're gonna be more likely to remember specific lines and notice callbacks and be keyed into the little details. First of all, not everyone is capable of that, especially with respect to a long 405-chapter-and-counting manga. This line is referencing something that the translator hasn't necessarily seen in over two years. Should the translator have to comb back through the entire manga every week just to be safe? Is that really feasible? Of course I'd love for the official translation to be as accurate as possible, but when you're translating something on a weekly basis that isn't even finished yet, it's just a fact that there will be times you miss things. You don't always have the luxury of time to go back and check for things you've missed that need to be tied together. I've messed up lines in my translations before too. Please keep in mind this is the translator's JOB, not necessarily their PASSION. They're likely translating multiple projects at the same time for a meager paycheck. They've got a lot of stuff to remember from various projects at the same time, and they're gonna miss stuff on occasion. Did the translator "not care" in this case? I think it's far more likely the translator cares enough, but if they're not in the fandom they're not gonna care more than the fans nor should we expect them to.
The proper response is not to ATTACK THE TRANSLATOR'S LIVELIHOOD like I see MANY people doing, holy crap.
Translating is often a thankless job. No one writes Viz telling them how good of a job the translator is doing when they get 99% of the translations right. The most obsessive fans often jump on mistakes as if those mistakes are personal attacks. But we're complaining about 1 or 2 lines out of the whole chapter. The rest was pretty good. That's the case for most chapters. It's hard to justify claiming malice when the translator far more often than not gets it right. But goodness, attacking the translator is not going to endear you to anyone who matters. If the translation is something you truly care about and you want to foster nontoxic fandom spaces and have good relationships between the fandom and the producers, a more proper response would be something like:
"Hey Viz, I think the translator missed this key bit of context which could have helped him with this line's translation. I love Horikoshi's work and want the best for it, and I think the translator cares about doing a good job. Would you please let the translator know about this and have him look into it for the official print tankoban release in English?"
The more you alienate and dogpile the translator, the less they're gonna care about doing a good job.

bkdk nsfw fic I just wrote hehe
Warnings: spanking, biting, praise, oral, face-sitting, anal, multiple org*sms, mating press, top Baku and bottom deku, porn without plot
Word count: 1553
Kneeling is Izuku’s favorite thing to do. More specifically, kneeling down to suck cock. He even has his own little pillow to put down on the floor so his knees don't get sore. It's not the kneeling Izuku likes the most, but it's what he does when he kneels; he worships his husband. Licks him, sucks him, kisses him, grips him, everything. Kneeling down let's him have that thick cock in his mouth while he holds onto those muscular, meaty things, Katsuki’s hands intertwined in his hair and his praises filling the room.
So, it's not a surprise that Izuku’s doing it once again.
"Ah- ah, fuck-" Katsuki groans, throwing his head back and biting his lip, "Fuckin' hell baby-"
Izuku holds back a smile as he continues his assault. He can feel muscles flexing under his fingertips, tensing and relaxing over and over again like they have a mind of their own. He gazes upwards towards Katsuki, never looking away once from his eyes. It's so hot to feel small and weak beneath his husband, like he's the one who isn't in control, and that anything and everything could happen to him.
He runs his hands over Katsuki’s thighs, then trails them up to grip his ass. For a man who doesn't normally bottom, he has such a huge ass. Izuku can't help but feel a pang of jealousy.
Izuku’s face is shoved down to Katsuki’s pubic bone by huge hands, the entire length of his husbands cock inside Izuku’s throat as Katsuki comes. Katsuki groans and stutters, then takes a deep breath and releases his grip. Izuku swallows immediately.
"Fuck-" He gasps. "That was fucking great."
Izuku’s chest swells with pride. He did a good job. He pleased Katsuki. He was useful.
"Really?" He asks like he doesn't already know he did fantastically. But he wants to hear it again. Please be proud of me, he thinks.
Katsuki nods, then sits down on the floor in front of him. "Mhm. The best."
Izuku tries to hide his smile, but fails. Katsuki laughs through his nose and reaches a hand out, fluffing and stroking Izuku’s hair. "You're really good at it. You got like a sixth sense when it comes to knowing how to suck cock." He kisses him on the forehead.
Izuku giggles. "You're gonna make me blush."
"What, you didn't blush when my cock was in your mouth but now that I'm praising you, you will?"
"Kacchan!"
He laughs, then scoops Izuku up in his arms and lays him on the bed. "I love when you blush. I'll praise you all fuckin day if it gets you to do that."
It's not that hard to get a praise kink fulfilled when Katsuki is your husband. Not hard at all, actually. Katsuki will tell Izuku what a good job he's doing and how awesome and fantastic he is just for getting out of bed in the morning. After a while someone might get used to it and it wouldn't make their knees weak anymore, but not Izuku. No, after searching for Katsuki’s words of approval for so long, his praise will always make his heart race and brain blank.
Katsuki climbs on top of Izuku and kisses and sucks down the side of his face, across his jaw, down his neck, over his chest, until hickeys and bite marks are littered all across Izuku’s freckled upper torso. The little marks Katsuki makes lay claim to what's his; they let everyone know who Izuku belongs to.
Katsuki kisses Izuku’s toned stomach, until he's sucking on the skin over his hips bones and laughing when his legs twitch or he whines. "Sit on my face baby? Please?" He asks, staring up at Izuku with puppy-dog eyes.
Izuku giggles and nods. "Your obsession with my ass is concerning."
He's flipped over and pulled on top of Katsuki, then dragged up until his ass is hovering directly over his waiting mouth. "So fuckin' pretty down here though. Can't help it." He grips Izuku’s cheeks and spreads them apart, then squeezes them. "My favorite."
With an eager and skilled tongue, Katsuki slowly undoes Izuku and remakes him again, over and over and over, until the poor man is whimpering and shaking, gripping at anything he can hold on to and sobs of pleasure wreak though his body like a hurricane. Katsuki never lets up his aggression, each moan and whine spurring him on to ruin Izuku more and more, to destroy him completely. Boys like Izuku were made to be fucked so hard their minds go blank, and by God, Katsuki’s going to fulfill that.
"How you holding up Izu?” Katsuki groans, then dives right back in before Izuku can reply.
Izuku whines and grinds his freckled ass down onto Katsuki’s mouth. "M-more- Please."
Katsuki smirks and grips Izuku’s hips tighter. "Your wish is my command, baby boy."
Katsuki snakes his hand around and grips Izuku’s cock, his thumb trailing over the tip in gentle strokes, collecting all of the dribbled out pre-cum. He starts out slowly at first, gently caressing Izuku’s length, then ups his pace faster and faster until he's working at lightning speed, Izuku shaking above him. His tongue works twice as hard, exploring Izuku’s hole and kissing and sucking the rim with complete abandon.
Whining and thrashing, Izuku cums harder than he ever has before, spurting his load all over Katsuki’s stomach. Dear lord, he thinks he's seeing stars. He got lucky that his soulmate is such a master in bed.
Katsuki doesn't stop. He feels he can't stop, because Izuku’s perfect ass is in his face and all he wants is to keep it there. He grips Izuku’s cheeks and spanks them, spreads them apart, kneads them, and keeps assaulting Izuku’s hole like he needs it to live.
"Kacchan!" Izuku cries out, "Kacchan- fuck- please!"
Izuku tries to squirm away, but Katsuki holds him down steady. Izuku doesn't think he could even move his legs right now if he tried. The overstimulation makes his stomach light up with sparks and shake, until he's cumming all over Katsuki again.
"Kacchan- Kacchan-" Izuku whines, sounding so fucked out and done yet grinding back onto Katsuki’s face, "Kacchan- fuck- I'm gonna- I'm gonna break!"
Katsuki chuckles beneath Izuku. That's exactly what he wants. He wants Izuku pliant and needy for him, blissed out and incapable of coherent thought.
When Izuku cums again, Katsuki decides he's had enough. For now. He lays Izuku down, quivering and eyes glassy with tears, on the bed and kisses him all over his face and down his body, until his face is level with Izuku’s cock.
"Kacchan- can't- can't go a-again," Izuku mumbles, his eyes half shut.
"Mmh, that's too bad." Katsuki spreads Izuku’s legs wide open and pins then back to his shoulders. "I was gonna fuck that ass of yours, but if you really don't want it, I guess I won't."
Izuku whines. He never passes up an opportunity to get railed into oblivion by his husband, no matter how fucked out he is. Screw Katsuki for using his weaknesses against him.
"Mmmmmmh-" Izuku whines, "y-you can..."
"Oh? But I thought you couldn't go again?"
"Please- please fuck me-"
"I don't know baby. I wouldn't want you to break, would I?"
Izuku bites his lip. He knows exactly what Katsuki’s doing. Katsuki wants to hear Izuku beg for him, tell him he needs him and that he can't possibly stop now. He wants Izuku to beg to be broken and used.
"Please- please- fuck me please," Izuku begs,"Need you- need you, please- want you to break me-"
Katsuki smiles wickedly, then slams into Izuku in one thrust. Izuku cums immediately, completely untouched.
"Aw, look how cute you are, cumming just from my cock going in. Wonder what will happen when I start fucking you into the mattress, hmm?"
Katsuki’s pace is brutal, sure to leave bruises in it's wake. Izuku relishes in it. He loves being slammed into so harshly, his prostate being abused and Katsuki’s huge balls slapping against his ass. His cock leaks like a faucet, pre-cum settling in pools over his stomach and mixing with his cum.
"You like when I- fuck- when I fuck you like this?" Katsuki grunts, his grip so tight on Izuku’s legs that it'll surely be sore later.
"Yes! Yes! F-faster please!" Izuku wraps his arms around Katsuki’s neck and tugs their faces together. "Faster!"
Enveloping Izuku in a kiss, Katsuki quickens his already brutal pace tenfold. The insides of Izuku are so heavenly, clenching around Katsuki so beautifully and aching for him. With a groan and gently biting down onto Izuku’s lower lip, Katsuki cums inside Izuku.
Izuku cums as well, for the last time that night. His arms fall down on the bed beside him, his entire body exhausted from cumming so much.
Panting heavily, Katsuki pulls out and gazes down at his beautiful husband, practically fucked to sleep by him. He feels a strong sense of pride swell in him, from the fact he can do this to him. He never has to worry about whether or not Izuku is satisfied in bed.
If this will happen after every time I suck Kacchan’s dick, Izuku thinks, I’m going to do it a lot more often.

You can say no to this! Just a idea that came to find. What if y/n was kinda like a mean girl, but not that mean…like she is kinda stupid and says what comes to mind. Like she doesn’t mean to offend anyone but at first she seems really rude but after a while they are just like “does she not know what she’s saying?”
But, like reader cares for all of them so much!! She thinks she’s helping by being brutal honest
OMG YESSS THAT SOUNDS SO INTERESTING
Tumblr media
Yandere class 1a x "mean" reader
•your classmates were kinda confused about your personality as much as they loved you they were also confused about it they didn't know if you were mean or just using tough love
•Like how you told mina that her Fighting slack skills and she should focus more on her fighting then being lazy which left her a bit hurt
•or Like that one time you hit bakugo with how he was so mean to everyone and always takes advantage of his power to boost his ego up rather then focus on the true meaning of heroism
•or even told izuku that he was Irresponsible with His quirk of trying to get himself killed with his reckless
• every day it's always you telling them their flaws and how they should be doing better which kinda hurts them but the delusional ones think that you're just being a tsundere or just don't know how to show affection
That what they all thought until
• in class When you were rambling on telling Katsuki about his anger problems and how he should pay attention to the Usage of quirk rather than obsessing with winning while the class watched in a mix of worry and protective making sure katsuki won't hurt you but that's when he snapped "YOUR AN ASSHOLE TOO YOUR ARENT ANY BETTER BY CALLING OUT MY OR THE OTHER EXTRAS FLAWS" you are confused about his statement which surprised him "Wait I was being mean I thought I was helping you getting better by calling out ur flaws so you could be better heroes!"
• everyone was shocked at this new information until Tsuyu spoke up "Wait so you aren't being mean? *Kero*" "No no! I just wanted to help you all by being honest! im sorry if that's what my words made you feel.." you said looking down while frowning on one hand the class felt bad because they all thought you were just being mean and on the other hand their hearts were SOARING when they realized that you did care for them!
•now whenever you wanted to call out their flaws they didn't get offended or hurt actually it somehow made them confident and whenever you praised them for their improvement for them it feels like they won a important prize!
•They would show off or brag about how much they improved it and would bicker and argue about who improved the most, You also worked on being a bit less brutal but still slipped out some brutally while being honest but they didn't care at all they just wanted to hear you ramble and ramble all-day and also trying to find a way to better themselves to be perfect just for you! You're their darling after all!

Quirks and MHA society
Throughout the manga there is this reoccurring theme of people not being able to use and control their quirks and the quirk system being broken but honestly this plot point never really goes anywhere in my opinion or if it is used it's not used properly and never reaches it's fullest potential.
Like we see people break the law a bunch of times by using their quirks illegally and we see people state that they cannot control their quirks but nothing is done about it. We never see people arrested for quirk use unless said quirk use harms people.
If it's illegal to use your quirk then how is it that you have middle schoolers freely using their quirks in school or how normal members of the public use their quirks? Also what does this mean for people born with a heteromorphic quirk? Is part of the reason they're discriminated because they can't turn if their quirks or is it because so heteromorphic quirks make the user look more alien and less human? The government in MHA doesn't seem to be very strict about quirk use laws but states that it is (hori failing in show don't tell again🤷‍♀️)
Tumblr media
What about people whose quirks are dangerous if they don't release it? What do they do? Do they just have to suffer or does the MHA government have a facility where people can safely release their quirk? This doesn't seem likely considering that izuku, ochako, Katsuki and miriko ran into someone who they(miriko and bakugo)deemed a villain for not being able to control his quirk. This case is treated as a one off incident but it really isn't. If one person has a quirk like that then that means so many other civilians do and they could of been pushed into villainy due to it. Hori establishes that the MHA universe lacks establishments that help people discharge/release or deal with their quirk but he never outright does anything with this plot point (it's mainly used to justify characters actions or villainy)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Horikoshi also introduces the half baked idea that quirks can influence ones personality and desires. This idea is introduced mainly in the MVA arc to ig justify characters (like toga and tomuras) actions and behaviours. I think it could of been a good idea if characters end up acting similarly or develop similar traits that come from their quirk however as I mentioned before the idea is half baked. Toga having an interest/craving in blood because thats how her quirk works makes sense but it's not heavily established. When it comes to toga we get mentions of how broken the quirk counselling system is and how instead of helping her to deal with a quirk that makes her have such a strong fascination and affection to blood it only made her suppress the urges until she went off the rails into full insanity. When it comes to tomura this idea is only used as an excuse (almost) for his actions, his quirk is used to demonise him and make him more of this completely psycho villain who loves to destroy things because that's his nature?!? When it really isn't.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Quirk counselling is a plot point with so much wasted potential. Like how did quirk counselling work? Was it a legal requirement or was it recommended? Did it actually help some people by helping kids understand their quirks, help them with control, offer any support equipment if needed to deal with the quirk and teach children morals? It seems like people with ordinary common quirks benefit more from the system then people with unique quirks that have unique side effects. We are told that toga's quirk counselling was full of adults not understanding and telling her that she is a weird psycho who is obsessed with blood instead of actually helping her. We see curious herself admit that there are many problems with the quirk counselling system and how it only benefited people with certain types of quirks and how it was basically a place teaching and breeding children to learn "right" and "wrong".
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We see the quirk counselling system fail but it's never addressed. MHA chapter 22 shows how people with powerful or uncontrollable quirks tend to be failed by the system just like how toga and tomuras were. Eri is a special case you can't even know if she is just being trained or if she attends general counselling because in all truth we aren't told. Eri also faces the same problem where she can't have too much build up for her quirk or it will hurt her so shouldn't MHA dive deeper into the idea of quirk counselling and people not being able to control their quirks. Heck you even have all might state that he has noticed a lot of people can't control their quirks which brings the question is quirk counselling only for young people in elementary school and not for older people because people like midoriya who had a quirk in his teenage years was never forced to do any quirk counselling by the government?!?!?!?
Overall, in my opinion quirks in MHA is a wasted potential of a plot point and topic. MHA fails to truly delve and dig deep into topics like how the government fails in providing help with quirk counselling or establishments that help people deal with their quirks, or how less people know how to control their quirks being a result for the quickly failing system or how badly the law is reinforced . These ideas intertwining with quirk inequality and how it affects peoples day to day life could of all been interesting points to explore.

im obsessed with the idea of being stuck in a time loop with izuku. at first you have no idea that both of you are in this time loop in the first place but as you begin to go mad trying to change the outcome of this life, he begins to notice you. small odd details that no one wouldve notice had it been any NORMAL person. At one point he just straight up asks if your in this time loop with him. YES finally someone to talk to without the repeat dialouge from days old past, which was actually just a week ago. you begin to grow closer, fleeting touches here and there. Soon you start to date, afterall he is the only person in the universe who understands what your going through. When he dies on a mission you simply kill yourself to reset the timeline and start fresh again, clean slate. With the never ending possibilities of the infinite universe, you can do anything. Have sex while skydiving, have sex anywhere and everywhere without worrying about the repercusions. he always wants to be the hero for this world, every. single. time. but you know better than that, you know it would be a waste to be a hero every reset. you become the biggest supervillian fighting against your lover, unbeknownst to all the other heroes and students. right at the climax of the fight, you and deku standing face to face, everyone watching. you kiss him, hard. you fall to the ground viciously attacking each other with your lips. he reaches up and grabs your breast, soothing your hard nipples. all onlookers are shocked, they cannot understand why this is happening but katsuki is DEF sporting a hard boner seeing these mortal enimes go at it.
anyways ill probably expand on this idea in a more coherent way soon cuz i cannot stop thinking about this, also wrote this in english and health class and its a wonder no one saw me. sorry for my bad spelling im kinda fucking dumb

The MHA Fandom and How Minoru is written in Fanfics:
So today I wanna talk about a somewhat controversial topic. Let me preface this by saying that I am no means a Minoru Stan. I’m pretty neutral about his character but I completely understand the hate he gets due to his actions.
However, a pet peeve of mine is how people write Minoru in such a negative light that it becomes OOC, especially when they write Katsuki in an extremely positive light when both of them have done extremely shitty things. Let me break down some stereotypes that fanfic writers fall into when writing Minoru:
Homophobic/Quirkist Minoru: Something that is constantly done in MHA to villainize a character they don’t like is to make them either homophobic or quirkist when they aren’t in canon. Focusing on the homophobia part, Minoru’s a victim with this alongside other characters such as Neito and Inko. A lot of authors will write Minoru as this homophobic asshole who sprays out slurs and will bully whichever character(s) has come out. With Minoru, the idea that he’s homophobic comes from him being a sex obsessed person who’s always lusting after women. The thing is, Minoru displays absolutely no homophobic tendencies whatsoever in canon. You know who does? Katsuki. In one of the light novels, he asks Ejiro if he’s ‘into that’ with a disgusted tone when it was revealed Ejiro wore a dress once. Minoru on the other hand has never said anything negative about the LGBTQ+ community. For fics to have Katsuki be the one to defend the LGBTQ+ community and have Minoru be disgusted by it screams “let me villainize Minoru so Katsuki can look good”. In regards to whether he’d be quirkist, that’s also a resounding no. In fact, he apologizes for calling Mezou an octopus after hearing how he’s been discriminated against and tells Izuku that it was his bravery that inspired him rather than his quirk. Minoru also canonically has self confidence issues with his own quirk not being as flashy as other people’s so he’d be more empathetic towards someone who doesn’t have a quirk. Katsuki meanwhile bullied and suicide baiting someone who didn’t have a quirk because he saw him as beneath him.
Coward Minoru: Now, in canon, Minoru is more fearful than his classmates. However, fanon would have you think that he’d abandon his classmates to save his own skin. Canon once again disproves this. During the USJ, he was panicking, for a good reason mind you, but inspired by Izuku taking action even when he was afraid for his own life, he ended up aiding Izuku and Tsuyu in stopping the villains. During the Final Exam, he did initially cower against Midnight. A few moments later, he gathered the courage to not only go against Midnight, but to save his partner Hanta from her clutches. This proves that despite his fear, he wouldn’t leave someone as a result of it. You know who would leave someone? Katsuki. In the Final Exams, Katsuki refused to work together with Izuku to the point of admitting that he’d rather fail. It took Izuku sucking up to him to actually convince him to work with him. When it came time to rescue Katsuki, Izuku knew that he hated him so much that he’d never accept his hand, so he had Ejiro reach out to him instead. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather have Minoru as a teammate than Katsuki.
Now, does this mean I think fanfic writers HAVE to write Minoru in their fics? Absolutely not. Are fanfic writers not allowed to expel him? Again, no. Alongside Katsuki, Minoru’s the easiest character to expel. He’s constantly groping and harassing the female students. All an author needs to do is have one of the girls become so fed up with him that they report him to a teacher. Boom! Problem solved, and it didn’t even involve jumping through hoops to make a character look worse than they actually are. Another way you can remove him is have Shota expel him during the Q.A.T. Minoru, despite his fantastic score in the side step test, scored below the guy whose electricity based quirk can’t help him with any of the exams, the girl with an earphone jack quirk that faces a similar problem, and an invisible girl who struggled to do a pull-up. Shota could look at this, somehow notice him being creepy to one of the female students during the exam, and expel him for these reasons alone. If you wanna remove him from the story later, you can either have one of the girls get the teachers involved or you can say that Minoru decided to drop out of the hero course after experiencing the War Arc or something along those lines. Seriously, it’s not hard.
In conclusion, while I’m not a fan of Minoru, it bothers me how much people will butcher his character just to have a reason to shit on/expel him where there are perfectly reasonable ways of which they can shit on/expel a canon accurate Minoru. It also annoys me when people choose to make Minoru a worse person while simultaneously making Katsuki a better person despite both characters having done some shitty things. While it is Fanfiction and people can do whatever they want, it’s bad writing if you have to change someone’s personality to make them look bad to prop up another character, especially one that isn’t a good person. There are better ways of writing a Katsuki positive story that aren’t lazy and/or cliched.

Hey, weird comparison might be a stretch
Okay angy-grrr (yes I’m name dropping you and I’m not sorry <3333) I think made a comment a while ago about how this whole thing between Afo and Yoichi felt incestual, and I’d be inclined to agree.
However, however however however, I do have a few bits of commentary on that sentiment. Specifically in relationships to this scene specifically.
Tumblr media
And, alright, no this is not some bs like “pro incest” or whatever, you can talk about topics that are taboo and not necessarily agree with them. I understand that I’m a shipper but I’m inclined to follow my nose where it leads, and my nose says here. So.
We’ve established a lot that the kanji horikoshi used when Izuku says “Give him back!” Is very possessive. Like an ownership over an item.
Okay, because Izuku and afo share one very weird trait—possessiveness. And for literally a month I’ve written and rewritten a post about how I just can’t get behind the idea of Katsuki paralleling afo, because it just doesn’t fucking make sense.
What is it telling us? That Katsuki has become a better person? We already KNEW THAT. The Kudou parallel says something, it says that Katsuki rises ABOVE the fate of the OFA predecessor because he and Izuku accepted their hearts.
Not only that but what is it exactly that we’re paralleling? Afo is defined by ownership (an Izuku trait), an unreliable narrator (also an Izuku trait)—in my opinion, horikoshi isn’t that simply Willy Nilly about parallels. It’s not about shipping to me rn, I’m literally comparing him to Izuku and how Izuku obsesses over Katsuki, IT JUST DOESNT MAKE SENSE.
Besides, wouldn’t this parallel be made significantly earlier, when Katsuki was still acting like an asshole? The kudou parallel was made literally from the start of his introduction, just because he looked so much like him. We didn’t know why this was the case, theories were thrown, and we’re only being told NOW why this parallel exists. But it was built, very carefully, and served a purpose.
And, to add onto this parallel of at the very least afo and Izuku, the portal is very similar to the floating hand.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Especially with the reminder that Katsuki was taken away by dabis hand on his neck (hands always have symbolism in this series after all, it always has a purpose)
If someone, anyone really, could show me some genuine evidence of afo and Katsuki parallels that isn’t just “Katsuki was selfish about Izuku when they were younger” then by all means
But to me, along with the fact that Katsuki called himself IZUKUS NICKNAME, right before a chapter where afo talks about NAMING YOICHI, ummmmmmmm… I gotta say. Things ain’t looking so great in that evidence department. I guess you could argue that Katsuki did the same thing with deku, but deku hasn’t even been said these past few chapters and Kacchan has so????? Idk.
Anyway, this weird overly attached, incestual, codependent relationship is really fascinating to me. I’m not so inclined to say that Izuku and afo are the same since they very obviously aren’t, izuku is just toxic in his silly goofy ways, but I think it’s an interesting thing to point out.
It almost feels like a “fuck you” to people who have been saying Katsuki and Izuku act like brothers for years. Maybe like Horikoshi is saying, “well I guess if they’re brothers they’re incestual too :)”
And that’s gotta be the biggest power move I’ve ever seen. “Oh you wanna read this relationship in that light? How about I show you what that light would look like if it were true :)” AND LIKE. WOW.
I know anime is not new to incest, but I don’t think this is the “random incest for funsies” type of incest, I think this is the incest built off of actually talking about the taboo. The weird. The not so great things we’ve done as humanity, but that exist anyway. Because mha WANTS to talk about the taboo, things we find morally wrong and therefore don’t belong in our stories, but that just makes them all the more incomprehensible were it to be happen in the real world. Art is made to talk about the stories we wish remained unfinished.

This isn’t gonna be a very in-depth because I don’t really have time at the moment, but I keep thinking about Heroes Rising in relation to the actual end of of the manga. I mean, don’t we all. But specifically, I’m thinking about the fact that Katsuki had to have convenient amnesia in order to keep it from interfering with the main story. Most notably, Izuku is allowed to remember sharing One for All with Katsuki, but not vice versa. Katsuki remembering and processing what happened is the ONLY bit of character development in Heroes Rising that was significant enough to explicitly undo. Why? It must be that whatever epiphany Katsuki had in this moment-
Tumblr media
-would have fundamentally changed their relationship. ^This face doesn’t just represent Katsuki realizing what Izuku intends to do, but also something deeper. I imagine the epiphany Katsuki had was something along the lines of, “holy shit, he’s actually choosing me.” He’s choosing him to carry on the torch of OfA, and more importantly he’s been choosing him as a person all along, regardless of their current status as competitive equals. The thing is, Katsuki already knew that Izuku is self-sacrificing and doesn’t think twice about risking his life. But there’s a huge difference between dying as a hero in an act of sacrifice, which in this society is basically normalized, and the sacrifice of becoming quirkless again and living on without fulfilling a lifelong dream. For Izuku to not only accept that, but to be okay with the person who once bullied him for being quirkless taking his dream away from him, it confirms something Katsuki wouldn’t dare to hope: that their relationship is not just a rivalry, and Izuku values their shared closeness far beyond what their training can do for his progress. Yes, Izuku wants to be the greatest hero just like Katsuki, and they feed off each other’s competitive energy, but (and idk if this is a hot take) their rivalry only exists because Katsuki put it there. Izuku goes along with it because he’ll take any excuse to keep Katsuki in his life.
If Katsuki remembered all of this, he would never have said in his apology that he doesn’t expect anything to change between them, because he would know that Izuku’s feelings toward him are completely unconditional. Their rivalry would be a moot point, leaving them to figure out why else they’re still obsessed with each other. Which brings me to the fact that Katsuki’s apology remains unanswered. We’ve all been wondering when Izuku will finally be shown confirming that yes, he does want things to change between them. And now I think the reason it didn’t happen in some quiet corner before the second war started is because it’s just too monumental. It’ll be something that, just like in Heroes Rising, Katsuki realizes through some grand dramatic moment. It’s the moment they cease to be rivals, and truly become two halves of a whole.

I’m gonna say something that’s probably not going to be well received in certain circles so let me start by saying this: I believe, with only a few rare exceptions, that you should be able to ship whatever speaks to you the most. And just because I don’t ship something doesn’t mean it’s wrong for anyone else to ship it, and the same for things I do ship, no one else has to ship it too. Who you do or don’t ship will never be a reason I pass judgment on you, ever. Live your best life.
That being said, I want to talk about Horikoshi and straight ships.
(And bakudeku.)
Here’s the thing: Hori has written straight ships into MHA and he’s done it so masterfully that it’s made me ship them without even realizing it. I don’t know if we can call them canon because as far as I know no ship is actually canon yet, but what is canon is the care Hori put into building these relationships.
Kirimina. Hori wrote in a backstory that parallels bkdk that I just adore. There is something about Kiri looking up to Mina and being so inspired by her bravery that it shapes the hero he becomes that is such good content. They’ve had multiple mid-battle moments of protecting and helping each other. I ship Kirimina so hard because of the canon Hori gave us.
I am a low key Denki/Hitoshi shipper but season six kinda hit me in the face with whatever we’re calling Kyouka/Denki these days and now I guess I’m a multi-shipper???? That is how hard Hori hit me with the Kyouka/Denki feels. And he did it the same way as Kirimina, because we have years of content of Kyouka teasing Denki mercilessly, plus the cultural festival band, so when they’re separated in Season 6 and Denki has this intense moment of realization that she’s who he needs to be brave for and it actually works??? I’m a goner.
Heck, I ship todomomo too you guys though I can’t blame Hori for that one, that’s just me being me. The point is that I ship it because the characters Hori gave me struck a chord inside.
But there is one straight ship Hori never once made me ship.
Every time izu*cha showed up I just kinda endured it? It just wasn’t for me. I didn’t see two kids with chemistry, I saw two kids who didn’t know who they were or what they wanted fumbling their way through a will they/won’t they without either of them seeming all that invested in it.
In six seasons and nearly 400 chapters and multiple times revisiting the story I have never once felt any inclination to ship izu*cha
Hori can write straight ships. Hori made me ship his secondary straight ships nearly effortlessly. So if izu*cha was meant to be canon why have I never once felt the chemistry?
You know who has the chemistry? Bakudeku. But here’s the thing: I wasn’t thinking about Katsuki as a possible love interest for Izuku the first time I watched the entire story. I honestly wasn’t paying much attention to him at all, he was everything I didn’t like on the surface so I more or less ignored him despite Izuku holding onto him for dear life. Katsuki never once colored my opinion of izu*cha, they did that all on their own.
It wasn’t until after my first watch through, when I was hungry for more and trolling around tumblr, that I realized people shipped Katsuki and Izuku and it was literally like something out of alignment popped into place in my head.
Oh. Duh. That’s the ship.
I went from zero to a million in a handful of seconds because the chemistry was there, the backstory was there, and boy are Izuku and Katsuki loud about how obsessed they are with each other. Just like Kirimina, just like Denki and Kyouka, Hori planted the seeds throughout the entire series so that when it was brought to my attention everything about the narrative and character development supported it.
And I have to take a moment to explain my dislike of Katsuki at first: I honestly fell for the surface-level interpretation of his character and then kinda wrote him off without much more thought. Which is insane to think about because you can’t really understand MHA without Katsuki, he is so integral to the story as a whole that any version of it without him is skewed so far out of alignment that it’s not even the same story anymore. But I just saw angry boy who yells for no reason and put Katsuki in a box and left it at that.
It wasn’t until I was willing to give his character a second look that I started understanding him, and more importantly, his relationship with Izuku. And it helped that when bkdk was presented to me as a ship that my brain understood immediately why it worked. The canon source material supports bkdk at every possible moment.
I really don’t think it does the same for izu*cha.
