The Origin of Pestilence, War and Famine

Apocalypse recruited the three random mutants whether they are young, old, strong or weak as long as they are considered potentially worthy to him and are willing to buy into his promises that he would make them stronger. Plague the old Morlock was rescued by Apocalypse from Sinister’s Marauders during the Mutant Massacre and he promised that he would make her strong. Abraham Kieros was a paralyzed mutant war veteran who was taken from the hospital when he agreed to serve Apocalypse as a promise to make him able to walk again. Autumn Rolfson was a teenage girl had a fight with her parents and ran away with Apocalypse who promised to make her feel better. With all the brainwashing and enhancements from experiments, the three mutants became the Horsemen of Apocalypse. Plague was known as Pestilence, Abraham Kieros was War and Autumn Rolfson was known as Famine.

Callisto the Morlock throws a knife at Storm (Ororo Munroe) as a form of “Morlock Greeting” as both Callisto and Storm used to be enemies but became allies as time went on.

Back then, Storm fought Callisto in the tunnels as a bid to release the kidnapped Warren Worthington III and Kitty Pryde. They fought each other with knives until Storm managed to get the upperhand by stabbing Callisto. Thus, Storm won both the X-Men’s freedom and leadership over the Morlocks. Callisto would have died from the wound had it not been for the timely intervention of the Morlock Healer.

“But gradually the truth dawned on me: that Man had not remained one species, but had differentiated into two distinct animals: that my graceful children of the Upper-world were not the sole descendants of our generation, but that this bleached, obscene, nocturnal Thing, which had flashed before me, was also heir to all the ages.”

Alternatively captioned: A Morlock’s first time outside

Also, sorry random truck drivers who now have a ghost story of a forlorn Victorian Gentleman walking alongside the highway at 3:45am because of this, yikes
