Need Advice On Quitting Message.

... Society tells me this isn't right to do this over a message (email or text), but... I really can't go back in. I do have health issues... but what I haven't said in the message is that it's mostly emotional due to the fact that my boss makes me so miserable... I just... want to know if this looks... okay.......

"There’s no good way to say it, so it’s best if I just come out with it. I have to step away from the clinic. My health is taking a decline and between appointments; juggling my medications; more issues, symptoms, and diagnoses that keep cropping up… I can’t keep up with it all. I need to focus on my health right now. I’m sorry for doing this, but I just keep getting hit with more health problems that are putting me through a lot of emotional and physical duress and I won’t be able to endure much activity – that means working even half a shift. I’m so sorry for doing this, and so suddenly, but there is honestly no way I can even attempt to work in a manner that is efficient or effective. I want to thank you for the opportunity you have provided me and I am extremely grateful for everything that I’ve learned at the clinic. I can honestly say, wholeheartedly, that this was the best vet clinic job I’ve been a part of. You do some incredible things here and I’m proud that I got to be a part of it. Thanks again, for everything."

... I feel guilty. I feel shame and embarrassment. But at the same time I just know my boss is going to talk so much awful shit about me to my (ex) coworkers. This woman is going to curse my name and tell everyone about what an awful person I am for doing this...
