LET'S F*CKING GO!!

Okay I know that episode had kind of a bad ending with that cliffhanger of Lydia and the Nogitsune vanishing and Stiles's very emotional and worried and guilty facial expression that is gonna haunt me forever, but DUDE!!

THAT WAS F*CKING INCREDIBLE OMG MY HEART IS JUST--

First of all, YES LYDIA!! YES SCOTT!! WAY TO SEE THROUGH THE TRICKS AND GET OUT!!! Lydia obviously had some help from Peter, but she was still able to fight it and find her way out.

Also as an aside, I feel like, no matter what else he may say, Peter really cares a lot of Lydia, and I feel like she cares about Peter too, in some ways, which is why she keeps going to him and calling him for things. I know there's a romantic ship out there, but that kinda bugs me, so I see it as platonic and I'll stick with that. I fully acknowledge that they care, albeit begrudgingly, about each other though.

And then Scott!! I'm so proud of him!! He knew something was off, but he couldn't quite place it, and as much as he loves/loved Allison, I'm so proud of him for being able to look past that and identify that no, that wasn't right, and he needed to get out, and YES SCOTT I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!!

Before we get into the big scene and ending that I'm obviously going to be adding to my "Best Sciles Moments" list, I do want to branch off for a second to acknowledge Kira and Allison (and Chris, honestly, breaking out of the chair and then not killing Derek because he's awesome), being f*cking bad*ss while fighting the werewolves and trying not to truly hurt them I just...

AND CAN WE JUST TALK ABOUT THIS SHOT?!

WHEN I TELL YOU I SCREAMED I MEAN--

WHAT A MOMENT!!

So anyways. Just wanted to acknowledge that.

AND THEN!!!

THE F*CKING ALPHA ROAR!!!

LET'S!!!

F*CKING!!!

GO!!!!

"He's human. But he's still part of the pack, right?" "Yeah. Yeah, of course." "So how do wolves signal their location to the rest of the pack?" "They howl."

YES LYDIA!!

YES SCOTT!!!

LYDIA'S PLAN!!!

SCOTT'S REALIZATION!!!

AND THEN THE BIG OLD TRUE ALPHA HOWL THAT FINALLY GETS STILES'S ATTENTION!!!

AND THEN THE WAY STILES GLARES AT THE NOGITSUNE!!

AND HE DESTROYS THE GAME OF GO!!!

AND THE NOGITSUNE LOSES CONTROL OF ALL THE WEREWOLVES!!

AND HE'S FREE!!

And then it's really emotional and terrifying for a second because they think it didn't work, and everybody's all panicked, and now Scott is wondering what the f*ck Lydia and Peter are talking about, and then in the grossest f*cking way possible, Void Stiles pukes up Real Stiles (but they don't know that yet, but you know what I mean), and everybody's freaking out (and here we love these little subtle moments of Peter putting a protective arm across Lydia's body, and then Peter and Scott diving to grab Real Stiles (before they know it's him) to keep him away from the others and Alan putting his arms around Lydia and Melissa protectively <3) and it's all scary and terrifying and gross.

But then I LOVE that Scott picks up on it. I LOVE that he realizes that something is off, and that the struggling is much more fear than it should be for the Nogitsune, and I love how he considers it, and I love that SCOTT is the one that realizes what actually happened, and then he uncovers his face, and it's STILES, the REAL STILES, and the way he just says "Scott?" with all of this emotion and fear and guilt and relief and Scott just looks at him in utter relief and they both look like they're about to cry and GOD I WISH WE COULD'VE ACTUALLY BEEN ABLE TO ENJOY THAT REUNION BECAUSE IT WAS SO GOOD AND I'M SO GLAD WE GOT HIM OUT!!!

But of course not, because Void had to f*cking run off with Lydia and now we have to deal with that and there's still two episodes left which means this isn't over but STILES IS ALIVE and he's OUT and Scott SAVED HIM and I just....

I'm gonna revel in that, okay??

I'M GONNA REVEL IN THAT!!

And then now we can go save Lydia and kill Void and everyone can be happy and okay and NOTHING ELSE IS GONNA GO WRONG, OKAY?!

NOTHING! (She says not believing a word she says.)

THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT STILES IS FREE AND NOW WE HAVE MORE OF A CHANCE AND GOOD JOB SCOTT I'M PROUD OF YOU!!

Let's go kill this son of a b*tch.

hey instead of bullying or scaring you into switching to firefox, let me tell you why i LOVE firefox and how my online life has improved significantly since installing it

- the setup process is easy, and even fun! if you’re using tumblr rn, you can handle it, and if you’re the kind of tumblr user who likes customizing your blog or tinkering with xkit, you can have a lot of fun personalizing really granular settings and picking themes and extensions and everything, it’s very customizable and i happily spent like 2 hours getting everything perfect.

- you can use a command line entry tool to change specific settings right from the search bar! i did this to make firefox stop auto filling my email information since i use a different password locker (which you should too! try bitwarden!), and it was easier than digging through a bunch of submenus for a setting i wasn’t sure existed. you can just turn shit off!

- there’s a preset theme called aurora that’s purple and VERY pretty

- once you get ublock origin and as many other blockers as you’d like set up, no ads, anywhere, ever! streaming sites, youtube, all the basics, totally no stress and no compatibility issues for me

- in browser screenshot and picture in picture functions!! holy shit i use these every day, the PiP is especially helpful, it replaced an extension i used to use on chrome and it’s leagues better and works on all video content pretty much

- overall better downloads management imo, it’s a lot easier to get to your downloads and find them later

- better bookmark system, with the ability to organize your bookmarks with searchable tags and assign them a shortcut you can type into the search bar to go to

- containers! you can have two accounts to the same website open in two different tabs and switch between them without having to switch accounts. also gives firefox the ability to contain facebook and their trackers, so you can click that party invite link without feeling like you just let mark zuckerberg into your house

these were just off the top of my head, i love firefox a lot and actively enjoy using it, which i never felt with chrome! please download firefox!! you will not regret it!!! where’s your fucking rage!!!!!! go!!!!!!!!!

Steve watched Eddie's van turn the corner and shut the front door, closing himself away from the outside world so none of his neighbors could see him as he rested his forehead against the painted wood.

"I'm not going to cry," he told himself.

He said it even as his eyes began to burn and his face began to twist, teeth grinding and throat closing. He wiped quickly at his face, again and again, as he stumbled to the couch to sit, drying each tear as it rolled down his cheeks, clinging to his jaw.

"I'm not going to fucking cry," Steve choked, and then doubled over into himself, arms around his thighs, and he began to sob.

So what if he was twenty-two, living in his parent's house alone, working the same dead-end job with a sixteen year old manager. So what if all his friends and family were in college, spread out from New York to Chicago to Los Angeles. So what if his boyfriend was moving to Seattle for his band and they broke up, because Steve was never going to be his parents, resenting and being resented for keeping his partner from his dreams. So what if he was too scared to ask Eddie to stay, to ask Eddie if Steve could go with him. So what if everyone moved on and Steve couldn't?

Steve grew up lonely. He could get used to it again.

He didn't realize how hard he was crying until the front door burst back open and Eddie hurled himself at Steve's feet, long limbed and clumsy and babbling.

"Baby, oh fuck, I'm sorry," he said, already untangling Steve from himself, tying all his loose ends back up together with his until they were a knot of their own. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, Stevie. I never should have— I wanted to—"

"I'm sorry," Steve sobbed back. He gasped and swallowed it all back down. Eddie had already gotten them raveled up again, it would take forever to pick it back apart. Steve knew it would hurt worse this time. "Fuck, Ed, you didn't have to— I'll be okay, I don't want to hold you back—"

"Come with me," Eddie burst.

And Steve couldn't help himself, and began to sob again.

"Please," Eddie begged over Steve's crying, his voice shaking and his face wet enough to match Steve's. "Please, sweetheart, honey, please just come with me?"

Steve took a shaky breath, embarrassed and now too full of hope and fear. "You sure?" he whispered. He pressed his face into Eddie's neck, breathing him in again for what might be the last time, again. "Eddie, don't—"

"I'm so sure," Eddie said. "I'm so fucking sure, Steve, please."

"Okay," Steve breathed. Eddie had always been the braver of the two of them, especially when it counted. Steve leaned back so he could look at him, red faced and watery eyes. He tried to give Eddie a smile, but he knew it was wobbly and weak. "Okay."

All of Steve's fears meant nothing as he watched the happiness break like dawn over Eddie's face.

he cuts open a pomegranate for you and pours the seeds into a bowl so it’s easier for you to eat them. he pushes your hair away so that not a single one gets caught when he zips up the zipper on the back of your clothes. he hooks your necklace for you, apologizing when it’s taking so long for him to do so because the clasp keeps slipping from his pinched fingers. he takes the fuzzy socks from your hold so he can slide them on your feet himself, his big hands massaging the back of your shins with murmured praises because he knows how much your legs are hurting after such a tiring day. he talks to your plants because you told him, in passing, how you heard that plants apparently react to human voices the way people do so he makes sure to tell them how much he loves you—he thinks it will help maintain the healthy lushness of their leaves. he brews you coffee before fixing himself up a cup of tea; then, he learns how to make iced coffee when he noticed that you prefer colder drinks. he’s always the one who ties your shoelaces, be it at home or outside.

(now that he’s retired, i love imagining simon round with all the love he carries, both for you and from you. he is softer now. happier. yes, he still prefers to keep to himself, still prefers the quiet. but now it is not tainted with the necessity to survive, instead, it is filled with tenderness and love. and you.)
