🌞 Fluff Monthly ~ June 🌞
Welcome to Pride Month 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈 of course, we have something special for you...
💛 Since it is Pride Month we thought one simple prompt on our regular monthly cards wouldn't be enough - so we created a special Pride edition 🥰
Tumblr media
We hope you enjoy this 😘 of course you can combine both cards and all the squares in whichever way you like
💛 If you wanna stick to our regular card that's also great 😊
Tumblr media
🌞 Each month of 2023, you will get a new bingo board with the following mix of prompts:
the month itself, which you can either use as an actual prompt or as your typical "free space" on bingo boards
two prompts related to the month/time of year
and two general prompts
🌞 Whenever we prompt a line from a song, you can either use it as such or you can simply listen to the song and let it inspire you for your creation. This month's song is Stand By You by Rachel Platten. Our Pride song is Born This Way by Lady Gaga
🌞 You can fill as many or as few squares as you want - and you can also fill one creation with multiple or even all prompts!
🌞 Since this is a year-long event (with the exception of Flufftober itself, of course), reblogging will not happen daily! It will happen the first three days of the month and then every weekend.
🌞 Aside from these special event rules, our standard blog rules still stand (you can find them under the cut).
🌞 Posting
Please use the tag #fluffmonthly
Since tags are wonky sometimes, make sure to also tag @flufftober in your post
To make reblogging easier, make sure to add the following tags: #fluffmonthly #[fandom] #[ship and/or main character(s)]
If you're posting on ao3, you can add your creation to the collection Fluff Monthly
We hope you will all enjoy this little event and that we can keep our blog active over the entire year 🥰 so as always:
🌞 Happy Creating 🌞

🌞 Standard Blog Rules & FAQs
No inc*st or p*dophilia - we can't keep you from writing it or creating art for it but it won’t be reblogged.
No hate or ship bashing - we’re all different and we all love different things. As long as it doesn’t go against rule #1, it’s allowed.
Tag correctly! Trigger warnings (including cheating!), ships, ratings, (pure) smut, etc - it’s all fine as long as you tag it.
There’s absolutely no word count restriction, write as little or as much as you like.
In regards to art, anything goes: drawings, paintings, collages, mood boards, gifsets, videos, playlists… the sky’s the limit (though not really…)
While we can’t force you to write fluff or create fluffy art, please try to keep in mind that this is a fluff event 😉
You can start writing and/or arting as soon as you see the prompts.
You can create for as many or as few squares as you like, even if it’s just one; you can also create multiple entries for the same square.
You do not have to stick to one ship or even one fandom - switch as often as you like to or even write for multiple ships for one square.
The ship does not have to be a romantic one! Friendship and family feels are more than welcome (but this is not a way to get around rule #1!)
This event can be combined with other events as long as the other event allows it.
Late entries are always welcome, even if it is months later.
All fandoms and ships are welcome - fanon and canon - as long as they’re of age (in case you want to add smut) and not related.

Personal queer facts #2
When I read Sherlock Holmes, which was written more than a century ago, it was funny to realize that whenever I'd read the word "queer", which appeared quite a lot, it was right away replaced by "LGBT+" in my mind instead of meaning "odd" or "weird".

Serious time: Pride edition
I think that the trend labeling all men, especially trans men, who enjoy wearing traditionally female clothing as "Femboys" hurts more than it helps.
When you think of a femboy I think people think of a very particular image, a boy who (regularly or on occasion) wears very feminine clothing. If you want to get even more specific you could say that the majority of femboys people see online, tend to have short hair and tend to be light-skinned.
This is notably different than what we think of as an effeminate man, though they do definitely have overlap. Where femboys are mostly defined by their clothing and effeminate men are mostly defined by their behavior.
And neither of these are bad things. But it's important to remember that these are not the only categories of masculine people who like to wear traditionally female clothing.
There are many people who enjoy wearing skirts and dresses, not because of or in spite of the fact that they are feminine or make them feel feminine, but just because they like how they look or feel.
Because although clothing can be gender-affirming, clothing does not have gender.
And immediately labeling any masculine person in a skirt as a "Femboy" enforces the idea that certain clothes are gendered, and imposes a label onto someone that they might not be comfortable with.
And it's almost never femboys or effeminate men who are the ones imposing this label on others, it's most often people who fit the gender binary.
If you're a femboy, great! Good for you! It takes confidence to do that! But not everyone who isn't a girl and who wears dresses is a femboy and I think that needs to be acknowledged.
Or at least that's my take

For disability pride month (and the rest of the year) here's a shout out to
- people who have to take "scary" meds like antipsychotics, tranquilizers, schizo meds, lithium, opioids, and steroids because they're the only things that work
-people taking medicinal drugs that may be illegal in some areas
-people who have to get dangerous procedures and treatments
-people who will literally die without their meds and can't stop taking them
-people who can't afford their meds or their meds are so expensive it puts them in poverty
- people whose meds cause undesirable side effects
-people whose meds cause them to be immunocompromised
-people whose meds damage their bodies, but improve general quality of life enough that it's worth it
-people who get told to get off their meds constantly by people other than their doctors (or their doctors didn't want to put them on the med bc they're "too young")
-people who can't take medicine other than ibuprofen or Tylenol due to allergies, interactions, etc.
-people who don't want to take any medicine due to medical trauma
-people who can't take medicine at all and have to cope in other ways
-people who are addicted to their medicine and don't want to stop taking it
-people who are addicted and want to stop taking their meds
-people still suffering from unforeseen side effects that still affect them even though they got off the meds
Our relationships with our medicines/treatments are complicated and no one body is ever exactly the same. Please be respectful of people's choices and feelings about their meds.
