Tab Hunter and Roddy McDowall (1953) for Movies magazine. While there is no evidence that Tab and Roddy dated, they were featured in a Movies magazine pictorial entitled "Calling All Girls". The pictorial featured the pair doing things that all straight guys do such as baking cakes and cooking hot dogs shirtless, swimming and sitting around the pool shirtless, and when fully clothed, Roddy introducing his "pal" Tab to his parents.

One of the most lamentable ramifications from the transition to digital distribution is the dwindling need for developers to employ competent designers/advertisers to generate publicity in tangible formats - magazine ads, posters, postcards, or, in this case, insanely great flyers. Dorothy Bird jumps for the ball as the umpire, known as Prince Leon, calls a sliding Violet West safe, April 12, 1938. The game, in Prospect Park, was played for relaxation and publicity by showgirls in the cast of Hooray for What?, a Broadway musical starring Ed Wynn and featuring songs by Yip Harburg and Harold Arlen.

How do you become an it-girl in an online community?
Be authentic – share about your genuine interests, perspectives, skillsets, inspirations, etc.
Understand your "why" and "what" – the purpose and "brand personality"/personal brand of your content
Thoughtfully communicate and curate your image/profile via images/text/video
Post regularly. Respond to community engagement
Follow and engage with creators you love/others in these communities
Be consistent. Allow the authentic progression of your life to reflect in your content while remaining mindful of/adjusting to cater to your audience's needs (Why do they come to your page/follow + interact with you?)
Hope this helps xx

It’s reached Seth Rogen and Roxane Gay. It’s the number one topic on Canadian twitter ahead of Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and their beloved Canadian superhero roles.

Somewhere in Los Angeles, some very tired staff at that company are looking at their phones and saying, hey, at least we’re trending.

During her early hit years, Houston did few interviews. Music industry insiders suggest that Davis limited the media's access to Houston because of the disparity between her white-friendly image and her proudly black manner. It wasn't long before the apparent vacuum of her personal life filled with a persistent rumor—that the diva was a dyke. How did that get started? "Mmmmm," hesitates the usually quick-witted star. "I suppose it comes from knowing people…who are. I don't care who you sleep with. If I'm your friend, I'm your friend. I have friends who are in the community. And I'm sure that in my days of bein' out, hanging with my friends, having nothing but females around me, something's gotta be wrong with that." Push closer to The Question and Houston's playful demeanor vanishes, replaced by the bitterness that's often defined her media profile. "Listen, I took a lot of grief for shit that wasn't me, OK, 'cause I had friends, 'cause I was close to people," she says, eyes blazing and hands waving. "But that ain't me. I know what I am. I'm a mother. I'm a woman. I'm heterosexual. Period. But I love everybody. If I was gay, I would be proud to tell you, 'cause I ain't that kind of girl to say, 'Naw, that ain't me.' The thing that hurt me most was that they tried to pin something on me that I was not. My mother raised me to never, ever be ashamed of what I am. But I'm not a lesbian, darling. I'm not [laughs]." Later, when the interview is over, she introduces me to her assistant, Robyn Crawford, the woman said in the tabloids to be her girlfriend. The introduction suggests these longtime friends have nothing to hide.

Sherlock: A Scandal in Belgravia | The Problem of Thor Bridge
'Well, if dollars make no difference to you, think of the reputation. If you pull this off every paper in England and America will be booming you. You'll be the talk of two continents.'
'Thank you, Mr Gibson, I do not think that I am in need of booming. It may surprise you to know that I prefer to work anonymously, and that it is the problem itself which attracts me.

Alright, fellow gaylors, help me out with something. As some news outlets are gaining traction with the “TS has fake relationships for PR“ angle, I want to know your opinion on whether ALL, SOME or NONE of her public relationships were PR.
Feel free to share opinions in the comments but remember to stay kind and respectful
