Yesterday I watched Cartoon Saloon’s short “Screecher’s Reach”, and thought Daal’s hair was almost exactly like how I envision Mathilde Lachance’s hair, so I decided to try and draw her. Today I stopped cleaning up the sketch after about an hour because I got bored, so it’s going here.

Okay, but you know an easy fix that makes pretty much the entirety of canon 10x worse? What if WWX was a woman? JC is not at all excited about having another sister, especially if it means giving up his dogs, and though he grows to care for f!WWX he is really struggling with jealousy and self esteem issues, ‘cause she keeps besting him at every turn with no apparent effort. WWX is a spitting image of her mother, so it only fuels Madam Yu own jealousy and dislike for the girl more. Worst part?1/4

2/4 WWX is much prettier than JYL. JYL really loves her little sister, but it gets harder and harder to hear just what a shame it is that she is so plain, while that servant’s daughter Jiangs adopted is such a beauty, especially knowing that WWX can’t be arsed to brush her hair on most days. Imagine JZX ending his rant about JYL with something along the lines of “I’d rather marry WWX, ‘cause at least she’s pretty and can actually cultivate” He can say it just to slight them both, or worse -

Which means that WWX could never return his feelings, not when he first threw them in her face as an insult to her own parentage and, of course, her beloved shijie Either way JYL is absolutely devastated and can’t help but feel resentful and bitter, WWX is thrown out of Gusu and absolutely obliterated by guilt (also LQ would definitely add fire to the flames with some snide comments) and JC is left with conflicted feelings-even peacock wouldn’t say shit like that unprompted

4/4 ,right? Wens still come for Lotus Pier, but instead of whipping, WLJ asks for WWX’s face to be mutilated - which Madam Yu allows. Before throwing WWX into the Burial Mounds WC has his way with her, after which she falls pregnant. Ashamed and pretty out of it, she hides the truth for as long as she can, but when she really starts to show she goes into seclusion. Somehow WWX gets WQ to deliver the baby and than take it away, as children have no place in war and she promised to help JC, also

5/4 her feelings about the kid are Very Complicated. WQ is the only one to know of the father. Later when WWX stands up for the Wen remnants, in part because people who took her child in are dead and can protect him no longer, she can’t bring herself to tell A-Yuan (of course, how could I not) the truth, plagued by shame of her “weakness” and guilt for having already abandoned him once just for being born. She takes him under her wing and makes a promise to always be there, but can’t keep it.

6/4 Also think about LSZ coming to terms with not only being a Wen, but being aired by a man who brought so much pain both upon his mother and her home and family and his father. LWJ struggling with guilt for not being able to protect his beloved from such a terrible fate and, worse, not even knowing about her struggles. And, last but not least, JC learning about LSZ’s parentage some time after he and WWX talk about golden core andJYL death, only to realize that not only did he kill his sister,

he also orphaned (and almost caused the death of) his nephew - the same exact thing he hated WWX for for so many years, but with one difference - he meant it. Sorry for so many asks, this got out of hand

hello! sorry for taking a while to respond but here is my (hopefully) easy to follow tutorial (btw i’m writing this assuming that whoever reads it has zero knowledge of photoshop so anyone could follow it) 😂

A guide to making simple animations using smart objects in photoshop...with what seems to be blurry screenshots and and even more lq end result :(

(lets pray the keep reading thing works for once - if not then i apologise in advance for the long post)

Okay so the obvious first step is to make a new file and do whatever you want to do with the background (and whatever non animated things you’ll have)

i for this tutorial i just drew the perspective of the inside of a box (but whatever you choose to do i hope you’re better at drawing than me)

The next step is to make a new layer for each thing you’ll have animated and to make a new layer you can either press the icon in the red box in the picture above (bottom right of the screen looks like a paper with the corner folded) or the keyboards shortcuts are ctrl+shift+N (⌘+shift+N for mac)

So you can see on the right hand side i made 2 new layers for the two things i’ll be animating and when i thought of what could go in a box for some reason my mind went ball and then exo LOOOL -  so i have a small ball and the exo symbol

Once you have all your layers you can click on ‘Create Video Timeline’ in the red circle in the image above

Once you have your video timeline you need to turn the layers you want to change for your animation into smart objects, so like in the image you click on the layer and go to 

Layer > Smart Objects > Convert to Smart Object

Once that is done, in the video timeline if you click on the little arrow button next to the layer name you’ll see it drop down to reveal 3 things (transform, opacity and style) each with little stopwatch symbols those are the 3 ways you can alter your layer. I have not yet figured out what happens with style but if I ever do i’ll add it to this but for now i’ll just show transform and style

If you press the little stopwatch icon you’ll see 2 yellow diamonds pop up, one next to the stopwatch and one on the timeline - you have enabled the stopwatch and created the first keyframe which will be the initial state of your layer

You then need to move the time bar to however many frames along you want it and press the yellow diamond next to the stopwatch again to create your second keyframe and you’ll see another diamond pop up on the timeline too

So I’m starting with transforming the ball - when you’re on the second keyframe you can now transform. To get the transform box on the layer you press ctrl+T (⌘+T for mac) and the box like in the image above appear and from there you can transform it however you like - so i have moved my ball into the opposite corner on the box and made it bigger (if you want to scale it precisely you can use the little boxes above to scale it to the percent you want) and then press the tick at the top when you’re done

The ‘smart’ in smart layers is that in the frames between your keyframes, photoshop will fill in the rest, so if you move your timeline bar between the two keyframes you will see the layer transforming gradually into whatever you made it to be 

For changing the opacity of the exo logo i decided to start where the animation for the ball ends so i made my opacity keyframe on the same frame that the last keyframe for the ball is and then changed the opacity to zero (right hand side of the screen in the red oval) so the logo can’t be seen - since this is my first keyframe all frames from the start of the animation to this will all have an opacity of 0 for this layer. I then just moved the timeline along, made another keyframe and put the opacity to 100 and then if I moved the timeline between those two keyframes I could see the logo gradually appearing

(Just a note: you can add as many keyframes as you like and make the animation more complex if you like )

Once you’re happy with it you can export it the normal way you would a gif  with

File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy)

I have tried flattening the clips to make frames and photoshop doesn’t like it so if you aren’t happy with the speed of the animated gif and want to change it you would have to export like shown above and then open the gif to change the frame rate

And that is my crappy animation! I promise you can actually make cool looking things with this (this is just me being bad at drawing loool)

Today’s new release is Minor★Prix Fixe which is a Toriko DJ starring Coco x Komatsu! I must admit we don’t know anything about the Toriko series so we only did Naono’s half since anything Naono we’re given must be worked on!

Before you read it I wanted to point out that these scans are bit smaller and LQ than we are use to working with but I did the best I could to fix them up without reducing the quality so please forgive the blurriness on some of the images.

JYP had an odd feeling. With both big and small companies making mixed groups, he couldn’t help but feel that his groups are now too old-fashioned. In fact, a lot of his groups succeed, however, he knew a change was required in the music industry.

As the boys’ team got a path to debuting, he thought in a way to make a new generation. The girls’ team were perfect, he couldn’t tear them apart. So, he knew someone whose success was almost assured.

Like if it was nothing, JYP left the room. 

As long as Hwamin remembers. She had always been privileged. With both friends and strangers telling her how beautiful she is, it didn’t take too long until she started to feel arrogant. Bottom line, she was born with good looks that always gave her privileges, so she knew every opportunity has to be taken. “You are good” Chan broke the silence, his expressions soothing slightly.

After that, the cameras went off. 

“You can’t let her get in the group” Hyunjin barked out, annoyance sparkling in his eyes “We have everything, she will be just dead weight. Besides, why would we need another vocalist?”

“Let’s be rational, isn’t her fault” Woojin intervened “Mixed groups became a trend now, it’s good to change, sometimes” he pondered “Furthermore, I’m the one in charge of the vocal team”.

“I hate people who think that they can win everything with beauty” the tallest hissed.

“Enough, Hwang Hyunjin” Chan scolded, walking to Hwamin “We don’t want you here, you know that, uh?” he murmured, softly. Although his words was harsh “But, I really want to debut. So, we have to work together. Please, don’t screw up.”

“I want to debut too” 

“You have been here for like… Three months? Stop talking nonsense” Hyunjin snarled.

“Stop acting like a child” Jisung argued. 

“I have to debut” Hwamin snapped “JYP PD-nim told me to be here and I would appreciate very much if you guys at least pretend to tolerate me on cameras. I’m sorry, but I had to grab this opportunity and I will work hard, I promise. However, I won’t hesitate to stand for myself if someone starts throwing a tantrum again”.

first off thank u honey!!! but oh god i’m the worst w/ tips and like helping in general…… u really kind of just have to mess w things and play around w the different adjustments until u get something u like, i know no one likes to hear that i’m sorry /: it’s just what u have to do to get where u want! also use colors that compliment each other and make sure the videos ur using are high quality bc that can really mess w coloring and the gif in general! ig this isn’t like? a must have? but i always make sure i have an idea in mind for what i want it to look like? it makes it easier for me to get what i want in the end! and one like. actual good tip i have is to have a good base coloring! something that neutralizes (idk if that’s the right word for it) the gif/image, so it makes it easier to control!
