ava, end of september, first semester of college

#ts4 #ts4 edit #ts4edit #myedits* #ava* #wanted to give ava a new haircut and then i ofc added meaning to it aksdsad #basically. last summer before college and last month of highschool were very very different to how they pictured #so this is after theyve had time to try and settle into that big change (not college they do be struggling lmao) #so theyre a bit out of their comfort zone with some clothes and trying new things #she spent the summer with carter on the ranch and took some inspo while still being them yknow #the denim top one im like struggling to see on ava #but she 'stole' it from carter bc she really liked it (which i do feel ava would like it) but doesnt know how to quite style it in their st #-le #tbf a lot of her wardrobe is sweaters and hoodies with shorts in september but this this is the broader variety #idk im a bit nervous on this one bc i tried to show a change while still retaining their style #again the denim vest is a mystery on how to style for them for both me and ava #but i tried bc ava stole it out of carters closet bc it was cool #anyways...

vr46 Marc AU + follow-up of this

Valentino truly pauses, looks at Marc and deadpans: “And they say I’m the dramatic one between the two of us. Bullshit. They truly don’t know you like I do.”

Marc almost opens his mouth, aborts the movement, tries to think the words through, figure out how they make him feel. If Valentino really knew him like he wanted to pretend to, there are so many actions of Marc he would have never questioned like he did. Which— again, not the fight to pick right now. Not when Marc’s brain is just a little foggy and a part of him wants to refill his glass and ask Valentino questions he’s had burning on his mind for years now.

“Yeah?” Marc eventually asks.

“Yeah,” Valentino smiles, finishing his drink.

“Tell me something about me that you’re the only one to know right now.”

Marc can tell that Valentino didn’t expect the question. His surprise reads in his open mouth and the light tilt of his head, the way he frowns and lets his eyes leave Marc for a moment before coming back on him.

Marc puts his glass on the table, doesn’t reach for the Amaro bottle.

“You’re getting one hell of a hangover tomorrow if you don’t drink at least a liter of water before going to bed.”

Marc scoffs, as much from his anticipation being snapped in half than because Valentino decided to be ridiculous, breaking the tension that had built up after Marc’s demand.

“I know how to handle myself after a couple of drinks, thank you,” Marc says back, only half pretending to be offended.

“You’ve drank less in your 31 years of existence than the average 16 years-old Italian but it’s fine if you wanna pretend otherwise. Actually, the boys were sensible tonight because of training tomorrow but if I give them a free pass, they’ll be happy to drink you under the table. I’ll just have to tell them that they’re the ones taking care of putting you to bed.”

Valentino stops in front of Marc after getting up, his palm is warm when he grabs Marc’s hand to help him up from the couch.

“Good night, Marc.”

“Good night, Vale.”

As he takes the stairs up to his room, Marc’s brain goes “this is the first time he’s called me by my name and not Marquez in years”.

It feels like a very silly thing to notice. It’s probably just the alcohol talking.

Marc drinks two tall glasses of water before going to sleep. He wakes up with the barest hint of hangover.

I think Malon invented ice cream. Like in the loz universe she was the one who invented it. Somehow Link has a hand in it (got his hand on an ice rod perhaps?) but Malon was the brains of the operation.

This was my NaNoWriMo story for this November, and I can't tell you guys how proud I am of it. It's almost completely done, and I will be updating it on Fridays. So far, it's looking like 6 chapters, but it may end up being more.

This story has light smut but I will be posting an Under The Cut companion that has all the full Smut outtakes.
