literally so fucking obsessed with how Megan thee Stallion & co. took all the most recognizable and appealing parts of the silouhette & construction of Boa Hancock's outfits and reworked it into something structurally very original (& clearly lending itself more to the fighting game theme than a 1:1 copy of Boa Hancock's costume would) but still instantly recognizable as referencing Boa Hancock
like I thought I was pretty indifferent to Boa Hancock's design to be honest but Megan's take on it has made me suddenly fall in love...
the permission to dream bigger that he’s been waiting for <333 denji being depicted as his child self, aka the truest denji and the one that represents all the unhealed hurt & the growing he needs to do still before he can undo all of the trauma he’s been through. although i love to see pochita & i love the fact that pochita acts as a true guiding figure for denji, one who only has his best intentions at heart, i do hope by the end of the manga we can see denji making choices for himself because he knows he wants them and he knows he doesnt need anyone else’s approval to dream of anything. the fact that his next dream isnt “a lot of girlfriends” or “money” like it might have been at the start of the series, but the freedom to be a part of himself that he’s had to keep suppressed, the part of himself that gives him power in his own life and allows him to continue to dream. raghh i just really feel like this was a push he needed to realize that he can choose to do what makes him happy instead of holding on to his idealized image of a normal life <333
