Author’s comment:

The sixth day, Astro Boy’s fourth adaption of animated TV show was aired on April 6 2003! One of the great adaption that has amazing animation, faithful designs and contrasts between complex subjects and playfulness.

Although some of them changed a bit in English dub version, I personally like the Japanese dub more because I’ve read the original manga itself. I love the story, characters and concepts very much, I took so many inspirations from this series for my personal projects.

I’ve been wanting to draw him again in a while, and it’s so challenging to pull off Tezuka Osamu’s cartoony style, I hope you like it!
