Been a while since I've fallen so quickly and so thoroughly into a hyperfixation, but Hazbin Hotel has me by the neck. Especially the pairing of Angel Dust and Husker.
My favorite parts of this to draw: Husk's murder face, Valentino's coughing and retching sound effects, and Angel draping himself over Husk at the end.
(The last panel came to me as an afterthought, hence why it's a separate image.)
when i get my hands on Liam O'Brien i'm making him pay all my therapy bills
like. LIKE. look at his face. the sudden surprise as jester invades his space and proceeds to RUTHLESSLY unravel and acknowledge his pain after the traumatic events of the day, the way he's so carefully tucked away all emotions and tried to move on without worrying the group. look how quickly the layers all crumble away, how emotional and vulnerable and small he looks, how for a second we see Caleb Widogast without all his layers. if i had any power at all to do so i would give this man a thousand oscars and then ask for a milion dollars to compensate for the emotional damage he has wrought me
hlvrai is actually the perfect media because everyone in it is both taking it seriously and dicking around at the same time. it’s the beautiful equilibrium of “it’s not that deep” and “it absolutely is”. it has the cinematic beats of an actual three act structure but the beats are about beyblades and soda and heavenly sword
When Leo first became LunaNardo he needed to be babysat constantly because he kept trying to do stupid things. (Stupider than usual according to donnie)
Flatwoods Monster and Mothman are the same entity.
Both located in West Virginia only a 2 hour drive apart (shorter for flight) Flatwoods W.V. and Point Pleasant W.V.
Both described at tall and dark creatures with glowing red eyes.
“But one doesn’t have wings”
What if mothman had its wings tucked behind it and thus, formed what looked like F.M. Headpiece/frame? Or what if F.M. Frame could stretch out and look like wings?
“But F.M looked more metallic.”
MOLTING!! What if it was a hard shell that is similar to metal and Mothman is the form underneath!?!? Maybe it was a cocoon?
Thus, with not researching anything else or looking over any potential evidence, these two cryptids are the same.
Reblog to grow the mothman fan club. Please I love this little freak so much and I want other people to appreciate him too. He's so sweet and handsome look at him confess his love for LAMP LAMP LAMP L-
Sorry that was weird. Purchase for your nearest forest-dwelling cryptid. (yes you count. I promise. we know.) Pre-order ends November 6th, don't forget!
an underrated aspect of eiffel and lovelace's dynamic is that she is the one person who can speak his language, she's just not happy about it. "we're bootlegging the opening band to figure out what kind of anvil the headliner is going to drop on our heads." / "oh! why didn't you just say that?" or saying "there is no try" to him in the live show, or trying to explain her time loop predicament with the one pop culture reference he doesn't actually get, etc.
lovelace is also a pretty quippy and pop culture savvy person, and, unlike hera and minkowski, lovelace has definitely seen star wars. she has referenced star wars. there had to have been a moment where eiffel realized he was finally, after so long, occupying the same space as another person who has seen star wars. this absolutely does not mean eiffel can talk to lovelace about star wars, but you know he tried.
it actually is so bullshit that mothwing is so defined by her relationship to hawkfrost and how they grew up together and he ended up mistreating her, and that the erins just couldn’t care less about her relationship with her half siblings. hawkfrost is allowed to have some contrived half baked thing with brambleclaw but mothwing has zero family left and i guess they all just pretend shes this totally unrelated girl or something
