The current for honor season storyline is basically a bunch of conquistadors (horkos knights, specifically) sailed out and found another continent where the Aztec were living. Being conquistadors, they then robbed them of a lot of gold, and probably killed a lot of them. Now the Aztec jaguar warriors have arrived and are hunting down the conquistadors

The game is saying that they've been accepted by the Outlanders who see them as kindred spirits, and are helping them with their goals, but...

The first Outlanders are pirates.

No fucking way would pirates be helping an empire get its gold back, and no way would people fighting for what's theirs identify with pirates.

Actually, the other 2 Outlander groups were also people fighting for their cultures riches and artefacts, so it really doesn't make sense for any of them to be allied with pirates.

#pirates really are the odd ones out #outlanders are meant to be people who arent related to the 4 main cultures (knights. samurai. vikings. imperial chinese.) #but the pirates are actually chinese. the only difference is that they speak cantonese instead of mandarin
