La torre che produce acqua
Fa 100 litri di acqua al giorno. Si chiama Warka Water ed è una sorta di albero che produce acqua. Alta 10 metri, pesa 60 kg, questa torre è realizzata con nylon, giunchi di bambù e bioplastica, Warka Water si basa sul principio della condensazione dell’aria, sfruttando l’escursione termica giorno-notte che in Africa è molto accentuata. Attrae l’umidità nell’aria circostante, facendola ricadere in veri e propri secchi. Può essere installata in qualsiasi zona rurale dove esistono problemi di siccità consentendo alle popolazioni la loro autosufficienza idrica.
