Let go of everything
Every position that you find yourself in, every situation that you find yourself in, with whomever you find yourself, the positions that you have or don’t have, whatever you may be in this world, is your right place at this moment. Bless this, love it. I know it sounds hard when you think of a horrible condition and you say, “I must love it?” Let me explain again. The reason you love it, is because God is all there is. Try to remember this. There is nothing but God. Therefore if you hate something, you’re hating God which is your Self. It’s all coming out of you. You are That. You must learn to trust and love your Self, your precious Self. When you become despondent, depressed, hateful, feeling sorry for yourself, this is what blasphemy really means, for you’re feeling this way about your Self. Can’t you see? There’s only your Self. If you think something is horrible, you’re speaking about your Self. You look at a situation, you watch it, you observe it, you never react, you leave it alone. And then you’ll be given the power that you need to handle it, to go through it, without thinking, without thoughts, without any commotion, without any noise. These are the things you must work on. Be that Self. Never be frightened again by anything. If I can make this perfectly clear to you, never allow anything in this world to ever frighten you. Allow things to unfold as they may. Remember, you just watch and observe. Hold on to the truth. Happiness will come of its own accord. When you hold on to the truth, when you do not react to life’s conditions, person, place or thing, when you leave things alone and you stop fighting life, you’re not giving up. I’m telling you there is nothing to fight. And the only thing you’re giving up is your ego. You’re giving up your body, your ego, your mind. You rise to a higher dimension where there is happiness, peace, compassion, love and joy, that is naturally yours. You begin to feel these things instead of the things you felt before, prior to this, when you were fighting life, when you were sticking up for your rights, when you were trying to get even, when you were working as an ego. Let go of everything. Do not hold on. Stand naked before God, without any crutches, without anything to hold on to. When you can do this, from this moment on you will begin to rise. And you will become aware that you are not the body or the mind or the world or the universe, but you are effortless, choiceless, Pure Awareness. You are boundless space, infinite like the sky. You have become everything, and everything has become you. There comes a time in everyone’s life when they have to stand naked before God. By standing naked I mean no scripture, no fancy words, no preconceived ideas, no spiritual intellectual knowledge. But to be totally naked, in humility and humbleness. Therefore when you can forget about your scripture, forget about everything you’ve learned, and become totally empty, you will then become full.

witnessing resonance, part 2: being transported by others' performance of their preferred identity
when I call myself a witness of resonance, what do I actually mean?
continuing from here
so what is it about the second layer of meaning in witnessing? what does it mean to be transported by someone else’s performance of their preferred identity?
(here I come with my big “anthropology of experience” guns)
when we say and/or do something to express and show who we are, who we are becoming, and who we want to be, —  all these utterances, visual representations, stories, visual narratives and actions can be called “performance of preferred identity” or “performance of preferred identity claims”, to be precise
when we are directly involved in a dialogue, both performing our identity claims, we are interlocutors
when we observe somebody else performing their preferred identity claims, but we are not involved in a dialogue, but nevertheless we are experiencing the impact of this performance of preferred identity on our lives, we are witnesses (spectators, listeners, readers etc.)
the relationship between those performing their preferred identity claims, and the witnesses, can be a two-way street, and can be a one-way street
what happens usually is that expressing something important to themselves, the performers of their own preferred identity claims create something that hooks our attention. usually it happens when whatever they say or do gives expression to some of our own unexpressed experience, for example, it may be some past experience, or an association that had been lurking in the background of our mind, a fear, a hope, or a longing
when the experience finds its expression, it is like a dam (maybe just a small one, but still) has been broken, and our flow of experience resumes; movement replaces stagnation; we feel energy and direction; we get more in touch with some previously-unexpressed values
this experience “they found exactly the right something to express my experience” feels like “ring of truth”, a stirring inside. Gaston Bachelard calls it “reverberation”.
Reverberation creates resonance — like a wave of sound goes through our inner experience, eliciting harmonious response from some perceptions and memories. We feel a connection, a linking of memories, perceptions and hopes into a storyline. “This is what it reminds me of”, “it made me think about…”
the energy, the direction and the emerging storyline all unite to transport a person in their inner experience from some point A to some point B. we are transported, transformed, we become able to see the world from a different point of view
the energy, the direction and the new meanings derived from the new storyline may lead to new kinds of intentional action; we become capable of something that we weren't capable of before
somebody expresses their preferred identity claims, we are touched, we engage and respond, and we are transported. this is the one-way street of witnessing
but we can also make an effort to make the result of our transformation visible to those who caused it by sharing their performance of preferred identity claims with us: “look, I saw your dance, watched your vlog, read your interview, listened to your songs, etc., and this is what happened to me as a result, this is what became capable of doing to perform my own preferred identity claims better”
this “confirmation of being transported” makes the witnessing experience a two-way street
it confirms to the performers: “you achieved your goal, you touched my heart, i got engaged with something important to me thanks to you; your actions have meaning; your struggle and overcoming have not gone unnoticed”
when this is seen and acknowledged, it creates a tremendous supportive and even healing effect
…as a self-identified turtle, I am a witness of something precious, of an untold story, of various subversive, clever and inspiring performative acts of two people who I assume consider their identity of loving-and-being-loved by each other to be an essential part of who they are
and I feel reverberation and resonance, and I am transported, and I wish I could make the ways I am transported and transformed, visible
but in a safe way, because the story remains untold by its authors-and-protagonists because it is better this way, at least for now
but I can witness also the resonance it creates in other turtles, and it can also create reverberation, resonance and transformation in me, and I can make it visible, so the other turtles receive the acknowledgement of their preferred identity claims

The Parable of the Sower ~ Mark 4:1-9 (NIV)
Again Jesus began to teach by the lake. The crowd that gathered around him was so large that he got into a boat and sat in it out on the lake, while all the people were along the shore at the water’s edge. He taught them many things by parables, and in his teaching said: “Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grain. Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.”
Then Jesus said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.”

P1: I am sceptical about putting this out there (for thoughts that malicious people will throw it in my face, and try to use it against me) but I need to be obedient to the Spirit. So, here goes. . .How Jesus Christ found me vs how I am now in Him addition: How He found me: swearing, raging anger, partying, drinking until my vision got blurry and I couldn't remember things, sexual immorality (having sex with those of the opposite sex), depression, anxiety, discouragement, no purpose, smoking Marijuana and cigarettes, deep in darkness, no hope, no future etc. How I am now in Him: profane language has decreased (and in the process of being completely removed), my raging anger is raging less and less (I pray often for self control and to be slow to anger), I am not having sex (and the person I'm with is in agreement with me that we'll abstain until marriage, which is challenging lol, but not impossible), I'm not drinking to get drunk (drunkedness is the sin), I'll drink a couple of glasses of red wine but to a limit where I'm still sober (and it's not often either), I have more joy in the Lord than I thought I had in the world, while I get random attacks of anxiety (I stand on the word of God with regards to that & what the Scripture says) I pray and rebuke it because I know it's not from Him. While there are bouts of discouragement, once again, I stand on God's Word, and rather turn my attention from my discouragement (and cause thereof) to Jesus Christ, praising and worshipping Him in the midst of it. More often the not, I end up encouraged. I smoked cigarettes when I felt stressed/anxious (not only was that unhealthy but it wasn't a good coping mechanism, it was a temporary means to a temporary emotional situation) now I don't smoke cigarettes at all. I smoked Marijuana to give me peace, happiness, to experience enlightenment, to give me pleasure but once again those were just a product of a temporary solution. Now all those things I was looking for in it, I experience with Jesus Christ and I can't even stand the smell of it nevermind smoke it again.

EXERCISING FAITH IN PRAYING FOR YOUR LOVED ONES
"Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb?" saith thy God. Isaiah 66:7-9
Travailing for Souls
Soul travail is an impassioned, deep level of intercession (prayer) that affects the spiritual atmosphere so that the lost can hear the Gospel and make a decision to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We literally push back the blinding, oppressing power of the enemy so that the Gospel penetrates the heart. Effective evangelism can never be done without a burden, anguish, and true weeping for souls in prayer first! (Photo via Freeimages)
We need to be wrestlers with God for souls. We need to become like Jacob (see Genesis 32:24-30) and say, "I'm going to get a hold of You, Lord God. I am going to wrestle with You, O God. I am going to labor right here in the spirit until You bless me. I want You to bless me with souls: the lost and dying world getting saved, healed, and delivered. I am going to wrestle with You, O God, until my household gets saved."
The apostle Paul talks about travail: "My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you" (Galatians 4:19). Paul had already labored and travailed for their spiritual birth and once again he is in labor until Christ is formed in them.
There is a fire, there is an anointing, that can fall on us so that we are literally overcome with the heart of God. There is grace available from the Lord to bow before Him on our face, weeping, crying out, and there is grace for us to be touched by the Holy Spirit to labor and travail for souls.
And God can take us out of our comfort zone and compel us by His Spirit to go into the streets to share the Gospel with the lost. We'll be moved into evangelism.
We Have a Great Promise of Household Salvation and Revival!
And they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Acts 16:31
There is a place where we stop asking God to give us what He told us to take. There is a place where we recognize that we have an enemy to the harvest God wants to give us.
We need to rise up in the spirit and say, "Joe, or Sue, I set you free in Jesus' name. Come forth, you who sit in darkness. I command you, devil, binding Joe, to loose him to see. I lay hold of Joe in the spirit and I open his eyes to see. Lazarus come forth!" When we begin to take authority and become pregnant with God's heart for souls, and travail through weeping and warfare prayer, we can see a great harvest.
Key: What You See is What You Get!
The song "Open The Eyes of My Heart" is actually a reality for the believers that  see the harvest with the eyes of their heart and now they get a revival. Are you provoked to jealousy? Are the eyes of your heart opened? Do you see the harvest?
Key: Birthing
We need to be burdened with his heart in our spirit for souls and pray until we see a breakthrough. That is true travail and birthing God's purposes in the earth. We need to sense God's plan in our spirit, too, and then move into that place of relentless intercession and prayer until we see a manifestation of His promise.
Key: Identify With the Lost
Jesus gave up His glory in Heaven and became God in the flesh and took on a human body. What a drastic change! He gave up the glory and power in the heavenly realm and came down to earth as the Son of God, with no reputation. When He took on human flesh just like ours, He was tempted as we are tempted, yet without sin (see Hebrews 4:15). He knew then, and He knows now, what we're going through. He identified with our human condition and He saw first-hand how needy and lost we are. In fact, because of His personal identification, He could become our High Priest and Intercessor (see Hebrews 4:13-16, 5:1-10).
You know, we need to be able to identify with the lost, too. Perhaps we need to remember what our lives were like before, when we were blind and walking in darkness. Because afterwards we'll have more passion and feel the urgency to see that lost souls find Jesus Christ. God wants us to be moved with a burning heart for the lost to be saved!
When we allow the Holy Spirit to take us into a place of identification, we will actually identify with the plight of the lost to the point that our heart and emotions become involved. At this point we need to persevere and allow ourselves to move into prayer in a deeper and deeper way, travailing for the salvation of souls.
The Key to Growing and Sustaining Revival
There is no growing in or sustaining revival without travailing prayer. As persecution mounted against the early Church, some of the apostles were beaten and jailed but later escaped when the angel of the Lord opened the gates of their prison during the night in Acts 5:17-20. It was a time of miracles and conversions! The Church was growing, and in the middle of all the excitement, there arose a legitimate complaint (see Acts 6:1).
The apostles decided not to involve themselves in the problem, but they suggested a remedy (see Acts 6:2-3). Here's the reason why they didn't want to become involved: "but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the Word" (Acts 6:4). The apostles knew they had to be in that place of prayer, birthing souls into the Kingdom of God.
Their wise choice to devote themselves to prayer and the ministry of the Word helped the Word of God to spread to the point that the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and even many of the priests were obedient to the faith. The number of disciples went from "multiplying" to "multiplied greatly" (Acts 6:1, 7).
They realized that the key to the continuation of the harvest and the fuel to the revival with mighty signs and wonders was the Word of God and prayer. Prayer was first and foremost! They placed such importance on that and we need to come back to that place of prayer for the lost, too.

My FIL (baptist minister) wrote a bible tract "A.S.A.P. - my MIL handed them out to the great grandkids when they came to visit last week 😑 I wanted to scream, I wanted to reach across the table and rip the tracts from her hands and throw them in the trash...which I did trash them after they left. But it took all I could muster to sit and listen to her rambling stories of people in their church, family members, neighbors, anyone at all she could think to talk about- she did. Nevermind the six great grandchildren you came to see, or asking them any questions about them- no. Just kept talking, self absorbed as ever. She has not only NOT changed in the last 10 yrs, she has doubled down on the gossip (prayer request sharing). I'm so glad they live 4 hrs away and we rarely see them.

Three Methods on the Path
There are three methods we use to help us on the path so we can realize our Self: 1. Self-surrender - where we surrender completely to God, or to your Self. But that’s hard to do for most people. It sounds easy, but it’s not. It means that you have no life of your own. You surrender completely and totally, everything to God. Totally. Every part of your life goes to God. “Not my will, but Thine.” That’s devotion, bhakti. Again, it sounds easy to some people, but it’s not when you get into it, because it means every decision that you have to make is left up to God. You give your mind to God, totally, completely, absolutely. And that leads you to Self-realization. 2. Mindfulness - Becoming the witness. Watching yourself continuously. Watching your thoughts, watching your actions. Sitting in meditation and watching what goes on in your mind. Not trying to change anything or correct anything. Just observing. Becoming the witness to your thoughts in meditation, and to your actions in the waking state. 3. Self-inquiry - this is the one that I advocate. Asking yourself, “To whom do these troubles come? To whom does this karma come? To whom does this suffering come? It comes to me. Well, what is ‘me’? I am me. Who am I? From where did the I come from?” And following the “I” to its source. You can use any (or all) of those three methods, whatever suits you best. But by all means, do something. Don’t waste your life with frivolities. Work on yourself, if you want to become free. It doesn’t mean you have to give up going to the movies, or going to work, or anything. You give nothing up. You just become aware of what you’re doing. You become a conscious being. You become conscious of your actions. You become loving, compassionate, gentle to all people. You stop watching out for number one. Most of us say, “Number one, I’m number one.” Forget it. That’s how you suffer. That’s ego. It’s hard to understand, when you give up your ego, how you can have a better life, but you do. Try it and you’ll see. When you stop thinking of yourself, and you start thinking on your Self, but yourself becomes Omnipresence, that means you're thinking of everybody else as yourself. So if any human being suffers, you suffer too.
