Do you guys think that as time passes Robb’s story gets turned into a folk tale…a cautionary story for children…a story rooted in truth but the real details are lost. A boy king marches south looking for justice for his good father but gets betrayed by the people he trusted too much…he gets turned into a beast, half boy and half wolf, forgetting who he is and living among the forest. The riverlanders say that you can hear the wolf king howl when you’ve been lied to, and that he scavenges the woods, pouncing on liars and betrayers. And his mother, so mad with grief, stalks riverbanks at nights, her face torn to bloody ribbons, attacking similar victims, but preferring the ones with blonde hair. Little children hear scary tales of Lady Stoneheart and the Wolf King and are too frightened to ever tell a lie. Men sit in taverns, singing sad drinking songs about a mother and child draped in tragedy. Girls sit about with their needlework, sighing at the true love the Wolf King died for, his fair queen who he put above all others, even himself. Robb Stark is betrayed, and this is true. But time twists the truth. Truth fades into story fades into legend. And he is forgotten, nothing more than a symbol in an old tale.

there's an interesting statement being made about identity if you accept all of the wolf 359 characters are equally themselves as of the finale: eiffel is form without memory; hera is memory without form; lovelace is both, but without continuity of experience; minkowski is both with continuity - and she's still not the same person that goddard recruited. if we're never the same people we were, but we're always ourselves, then the only way the self can be defined is through its own assertion - and maybe it can be argued that "my name is-" (and later, being able to say "my name is hera" reintroducing herself to pryce) and "i am captain isabel lovelace. no matter how hard you try, you are not taking that away from me" and "without me, who are you?" / "renée minkowski, and that is more than enough to kick your ass" are all the set up for (and part of the answer to) "am i still doug eiffel?"

Maybe they will believe you, maybe they won't. But it doesn't matter. Don't do it for them. Do it for you. This is a chance to write your own story.

liam and theo have different kinds of loneliness. like liam's kind is at the anticipation of no longer being surrounded by his friends, his comfort. his loneliness is in the fact no one understands what its like. with his IED, being treated like a monster, the disappointment. its ostracization. its not exactly being by himself, it's being himself that makes him lonely. theo's is much more simple, but still relatable to liam. any time a lonely person finds another ... you get it. two lost ships at sea finding survivors. theo before s5 probably didnt have many friends. sure he knew manipulation tactics, how to lie, sneak and probably steal. he knew a lot about werewolves and other supernaturals. he knew a lot in general. probably had a job. maybe went to the gym. knew vague pop culture references. his extent of human interaction. he was mad at the dread doctors in s5 because he wanted a pack. sure it was about power, but think about it. whats a pack about? camaraderie. trust. companionship. people who have to understand you to a level, people who have to respect you. theo was craving that after what the dread doctors put him through. after hell it was . everyone hated him. wanted him dead. were disgusted by him. avoided him like the plague or tried to kill him. so he had no one. he didnt have a fear of being The Monster because everyone already decided he was one. with liam everyone understood (somewhat) that he was good and trying and theo was bad and never going to change. while liam has people and scared of losing him because of being himself, theo has no one. at all.

With Eman Esfandi being cast as the Live Action Ezra Bridger, it got me thinking.
In my mind Ezra is with the Chiss Ascendancy in their war against the Grysks, and Ezra’s most iconic force ability is beast taming so my brain naturally concluded:
Csillan War-Mount Creature!
Tumblr media
So yeah here’s Ezra’s pet/war mount, a gigantic 4-eyed stoat combined with a snow leopard/ sabertooth cat/ polar bear. A Snow Stoat-Leopard… A Stoatpard.

Until a canon word appears her name will be Sh’uaks’ha, aka ‘White’ in Cheunh according to me. (Kit Sh’uaks’ha - top right)

Finally decided to give into temptation and draw Franks mom (Gabriela) and post some headcanons here teehee
35 years old
His first language is Spanish and then later on he learned English (bilingual king)
Big party animal in his teens and early 20s, lowkey a player
Pretty good dancer
Raised by a single mom, knows about his dad but neither had ever bothered to reach out.
Momma’s boy (nerd)
Their relationship was essentially perfect until she found out about Frank’s involvement with crime (selling drugs and other petty crime) in his teens and early 20’s. Aside from being mad she was disappointed in him, having raised him to be better than that and to stay away from that sort of crowd. A tearful screaming match ensued that ended with Frank getting kicked out of the house and unless he quit his current lifestyle he wasn’t allowed to come back
Since he’d left he’d tried sending her money, but she refused to accept money earned illegally.
He hasn’t seen her in 12 years.
Has a folded picture of her in his wallet with her phone number scribbled on the back. Has never tried calling her, having only gotten more heavily involved in crime since the day he left. It’s hard to crawl out of the hole he dug for himself.
Passes by his childhood home once in a while, just to make sure she hasn’t moved or left town.
That’s it (for now >:^]) have some VERY messy doodles

solas: I heard about your organization, Sera. I am impressed.
sera: Is this a trick?
solas: Hardly. But it is an opportunity. You have already divided your group’s membership. That is wise. No one cell can betray all your secrets. The next step is to establish a rhythm. When your enemies pursue, you vanish. When they become complacent, you harass them. When they are weak, you strike in earnest.
sera: Where’d you get all this, then?
solas: Do you wish to be unnerved by another tale of my explorations of the Fade, or do you wish to learn something?
sera: I don’t know. Neither?

As much as I love Theo Raeken as a villain and in general s5, it would have been so much better if they had kept him being a villain a secret for longer

Wolf isn't the only one that deals with nightmares about the past, especially the nightmares about losing the love of your life.
But the nightmares are just that, bad dreams that tell a story of fear and things that never came to be, as when these nightmares pass come the comfort and reassurance that what was seen wasn't real, and that they are both still there and alive.
Also below is the picture frame in the background.

The picture is post inauguration into the Toppats, with Wolf not quite a picture taking person but is very happy for the moment and Lex's eye being wrapped up after being looked at and properly treated by the Toppat medical team.

the "big picture" - whether that refers to some detached, calculated greater good; ruthless ambition and progress for the sake of progress; or even the dear listeners' cosmic indifference - as an antagonistic force in wolf 359 is so fascinating to me because of the way eiffel as a protagonist is set up to oppose it, just by nature of who he is. eiffel retains his humanity even under the most inhumane circumstances. his strength is in connection, and with that he's able to reach others who share his core values, but he's operating under a fundamentally different framework from the show's antagonists. he can never understand where they're coming from or be swayed by their points of view because, for better or worse, he can only see the world through a close personal lens.
it's an ideological conflict he has with all of them, but notably with hilbert: "you talk about helping people, but what about the real, live people around you? [...] that's your problem. you're so zoomed out." eiffel will never, ever see that "big picture" because he is so zoomed in. at his best, he puts things into perspective and grounds the people around him. at his worst, his perspective narrows so drastically inwards that he becomes blind to everyone and everything else. his failings are deeply, tragically human - they're personal, they're impulsive, they're self-destructive. they're selfish. no matter how much he might try to narrativize or escape from himself, he's still left with doug eiffel: "it's taken me this long to realize that running from everyone else means that you're alone with yourself." eiffel could never be convinced to harm others on purpose, but he has hurt people, and it's never been because he didn't care. the very fact that he cares so much, that he's incapable of reconciling the hurt he's caused with the things he values, is what keeps him from real growth for so long. where many of the other characters in wolf 359 will justify their cruelty in service of something they consider more important, eiffel is so caught up in vilifying himself and the fear that he's always going to harm the people he cares for without meaning to that he shuts himself off from the people who care about him and perpetuates his own self-fulfilling prophecy.
