I'm so fuckin mad, the Sunshine Springs update came out (Saints Row Reboot) and a bunch of the dialogue has been changed!

The player character didn't once say "it's my first fucking day!" during the first mission.

The player character didn't have the "fall in line" rant! At all!! They just cut that bit completely! Your character says nothing in the morning commute now, and just listens to the voicemails. The voicemails have changed now too, but I don't hate those choices. I hate the choices that make your boss less chatty!!

Also, when Kevin calls you about side hustles, a chunk of that dialogue is missing. The player character used to ask him "when you say friends, do you mean friends friends or special friends?" and he would reply "all my friends are special." Those two lines were cut. 👀 I don't like that. I don't like hints about Kevin's sexuality being removed.

They've adjusted voice lines for other missions too, such as The Great Train Robbery, Going Overboard, and Severance Package, but I haven't gotten far enough to know what the changes are yet. And I'm in a pissy mood with it now so I'm turning my attention to something else for a bit.
