All might, who told quirkless izuku midoriya he couldn’t be a hero without a quirk and then gave him one, who gave society his all until he had nothing left, lost a friend over his devotion to the job and struggled with retirement and feeling useless both as a teacher and as a mentor, who has even his closest friend doubting his ability to do it, is now fighting the greatest, most dangerous villain in history, who also killed nana shimura, with a suit that is more of a support item than a superhero outfit, that he made with all the things his students taught him while he was teaching them, made by a quirkless girl that is part of the family that he chose, that he carried with him everywhere, waiting for the moment when he can, once again, help his successor in the fight of one for all and all for one.
At last, the prediction that lost him his friendship with nighteye might come true, and the world is once again going to witness toshinori yagi in his final moments, always smiling and always standing strong, so they know that now that he’s here everything is going to be fine.

I had so much fun writing the Dad Might and Ochako bonding in Ghastly Advice I kind of want to start a series where I give different characters some time with Dad Might.

Note
If the ask game is still open how about an Anyone au where when AFO asked about Izuku's family Izuku went on an hour long rant complete with a PowerPoint that illustrated all his special feelings about his dad
1 - In this AU, AFO actually had the courage to ask Izuku about his family and how he felt about his parents. Even if he lived for 200 additional years, he would still regret that decision. He certainly didn't expect for Izuku to spring The Power Point Of All Power Points detailing his hatred for his deadbeat dad, Midoriya Hisashi.
2 - Three hours into the Powerpoint, Izuku notices that AFO is crying. He asks him why and AFO says that it's because growing his eyes back left them sensitive and in need to be hydrated and how he will probably need to retire for the night soon to let let them rest. Izuku opens a drawer, threw eye drops at him, and continues his presentation. AFO should have known better than to open that Pandora Box and isn't allowed to leave until Izuku has ranted away all of his Daddy Issues.
3 - AFO, not wanting to meet his parents' fate, try to introduce Izuku to the idea that his father might have a good reason for leaving, that he might be dead or incapacitated. Izuku. Does. Not. Care. Izuku makes it clear that if Hisashi ever shows himself in front of him, he will throw him from a building as many times as it takes to kill him. AFO believes him.
4 - Time for Plan B: time to convince Izuku that his deadbeat dad is someone AFO wants dead. Since he is an ambitious man, he naturally picks Yagi, thinking that now that Izuku has stolen his quirk, it's time to take his life. He creates "proof" that Toshinori can change appearance and that his secret identity used to be Midoriya Hisashi. It's so convincing that Izuku breaks into the Might Tower with an album picture, several DNA tests and generally emitting a "????" sound.
5 - Now, All Might is an intelligent man who knows when someone is trying to pull an emotionally charged narrative climax where one murders his father. But since he is also dumb, he doesn't say "Mmm, your dad is AFO and is manipulating you. Also, could you give me back my quirk please." Instead, he says "I am so sorry, I had to leave to protect you and your mom, what do you mean you didn't get the child support and the unlimited AM merch I have been sending you every month?"
+ 1 - Now, Izuku isn't dumb either, knows that there is something fishy and if All Might is somehow truly his dad, he can't accept the "I abandoned you to protect you" excuse. But... Unlimited All Might merch. So he is willing to hear him out. As long as he keeps the merch coming.
+ 2 - All Might accidentally sics Izuku on the one who "stole the alimony and the All Might merch"... The HPSC President.

If DFO Theory (the theory about AFO being Izuku's father all along) is right,
Then I find it interesting that the one thing that signifies Izuku as An OFA holder would have something to do with AFO himself.
Let me explain,
A large portion of OFA holders' names has something to do with their numerical order of OFA's succession,
Yoichi (与一), Ichi(一) means 1
Shinomori (四ノ森), Shi (四) means 4
Banjou Daigoro (万縄大悟郎), in different kanji (五), Go can also means 5
Nana (菜奈), in different kanji (七), Nana can also means 7
Yagi Toshinori (八木俊典), Ya(八) means 8.
And now, let's see Izuku's name,
In Izuku (出久), the"久" kanji is read "ku",
but "ku" itself, in different kanji (九), can also means 9.
And If DFO is true, then AFO's real name is "Hisashi", which can be written as "久".
See? The one thing that signifies Izuku as the 9th holder of OFA is the Kanji that can be read as AFO's Real name.
And if we assume AFO named Izuku*,
that means The very thing that signified Izuku as OFA holder (the "久" in "出久") is originated from AFO/Hisashi (久) HIMSELF.
it's like How OFA originated from AFO!!
"It's like poetry, they rhymes"
-George Lucas, Star wars' producer.
Fyi, Horikoshi, my hero academia's author, LOVES Star wars
*i mean, c'mon, AFO is so obsessive, he locked his own brother in A VAULT, so putting his own name (久) on his son's name (出久) to mark his connection to his son is so in character for him

Thanks for that answer and while I'm not fond of Toshi dying, I am curious about a canon divergence where he and AFO both go down in an act of mutual annihilation during their first battle (and AFO won't get recovered), if only for the consequences. If you're willing to do that one, I'd love to hear it, but if AM dying is a hard no, could you perhaps do an AU where AFO dies for real + consequences?
mmm, yes, how about some middle ground- AfO and All Might both die in the first fight, but Toshinori Yagi survives, barely.
1- Toshi drags AfO's corpse behind him as he goes to recon with Gran and Sir. One For All is fading, slipping out of his fingers, and he grips AfO tighter to try and hold it in. It doesn't prevent his strength from leaving, but it keeps AfO's body from being snatched. Sir is stunned and horrified by the sight, his trembling call of 'All Might?' ignored. Gran breaks through and takes the corpse from him only after he says in a voice more gentle than he's used in years that "It's done, Toshinori."
2- Gran leaves to take care of the body. Sir gets Toshinori to the hospital. He's in critical state for days. When he finally wakes up, the blood's been all washed off. He says that All For One is dead, and so is One For All. He meets Sir's eyes. "You looked?" He asks. Sir looks down. "Only to see if you'd wake up." Planning All Might's funeral, after all, would have required a lot of time. But Toshinori sighs, and says they'll still need that funeral, and Sir, as his sidekick, gets the agency. Sir says he'll just do the paperwork to get the money where Toshi wants it sent, and only for three years. Toshi wonders if he's been given a prediction, but doesn't ask.
3- Toshinori spends a lot of time on I-island in his retirement. David is one of the few people he has, after all, and once he is firm in his retirement and official death, Dave is just happy that he's alive and returning his hug to put other thoughts out of his mind for a while. Only a while, though- Dave knows the power vacuum and crime surge that's ramping up. Toshinori can't fight it anymore, but he's strategic and has a lot of intel on villains in japan, and the two of them make plans and send support to the heroes back home. It helps, a little bit.
4- But Toshinori can’t stay on I-island, even if he feels most helpful there, even if Dave and Melissa’s guest room is all but his. Nana died for Japan, and he sacrificed a lot for it too, and it’s easier to keep an eye on things there. So a lot of movement back and forth. He didn’t die after three years. Sir makes his own agency, and it’s strained but not without contact. Toshinori is tired. The world keeps changing and won’t let him rest. But, one visit to I-island, Melissa mentions that there’s a new student at the academy, a freshman who’s quirkless and from Japan. Izuku Midoriya, she thinks he and her uncle would get along.
5- so, the ripples: Because of increased crime, Inko and Izuku leave Japan to go join Hisashi working abroad, which is stressful but eventually Izuku wins entrance into I-island’s academy, the closest he could get to heroics as no schools near his new home accepted quirkless students and his parents refused to return to Japan. Endeavor, thrust into the Number One position six years early, has much less time to be home and Shoto is glad. When Fuyumi turns eighteen, she quietly asks her father for an allowance and an apartment away to watch her brothers in. Enji, two years into this change, agrees. Bakugou and Tsubasa are the two students from Aldera Middle to make it to UA High- they haven’t seen Deku since he moved away in other school, and haven’t thought about him for a couple of years. They’re close, though, as the orphanage Tsubasa lived in closed due to lack of funding and Tsubasa’s been crashing on his couch more often than not, which is not exactly a healthy environment but is better than going in the nomu soup. Mina comes across a giant man who’s sniffing around insisting that he smells All Might, that he's still here, still alive, he needs to find him. Mina watches him investigate a building that looks run down and abandoned until a short old man walks by, says he's dead, but the building is where he used to live, historic location, can’t torn down for it. The giant keeps insisting that he’s alive, the scent fresh. Mina tells him she wishes All Might was alive too, but she going to be a hero inspired by- the man lashes out, angry, and Kirishima can’t help but watches as the old man moves quickly, and the next thing he knows he’s sitting next to Mina as the police drive the giant away and the EMTs look over his friend, who’s alright but going to have a much more heroic scar than him. They promise to be heroes and have each other’s back. When they get to UA, their class looks different, fewer people each year take the entrance exam, though still more than most other schools. Hawks is exhausted as his rise through the top heroes is planned to emulate All Might’s. He had to make top ten before he was twenty, to beat Endeavor’s record, and sometime between his twenty fifth and twenty sixth birthday he knows he’s going to hit number one, burning through more and more official cases to get the number he needs. It’s not hard, with crime rates rising, even if it’s not going up as sharply as David and Toshi feared. The Yakuza is even making a comeback, as much as vigilante Stendhal tries to fight it, and Chisaki Kai’s sister is not allowed to leave the family to get married, too much risk. She resents this and slips some secrets to Giran, who’s curious about her adopted brother’s quirks- a shame his old patron isn’t around anymore, but he's got an annoying nineteen year old Tomura upstairs in his loft who tracked him down years ago, leading a mostly unresponsive Kurogiri by the hand, demanding to know why he’s been abandoned and how to fix the only caretaker he has left.

i’m knee deep into a bnha AU that is very wildly AU but involves some of these factors (idk if the ask will accept my bullet points but we’ll see):
Izuku is not Yagi Toshinori’s child, but Inko did remarry to Yagi when Izuku was very young, and his father (hmm I wonder who this could be?) has been out of the picture since he was very young
Tenko is rescued by Gran Torino as a child and is on track to be a hero. Due to some circumstances, he gets taken in by Izuku’s family
Izuku is quirkless. I am shooting for maximum angst.
Izuku feeling like he is being replaced by Tenko and being pushed out the family, but he has the self-worth of a crushed peanut that would apologize to the blender so he keeps his mouth shut. The worst part is, he doesn’t think Tenko is doing it intentionally, and his parents certainly don’t notice. No one does.
Izuku has to deal with bullying. His parents forget to pick him up from school activities often. He’s lonely and hurt and doesn’t quite have anyone to turn to. This does not bode well.
Yoichi and AFO are immortal fae brothers with grudges the size of the EU and a sibling rivalry large enough to develop its own gravitational pull
OFA is something Yoichi created to mess with AFO because it would drive him up a wall that Yoichi would give humans that power. But also. AFO can’t even steal it away.
Izuku runs into the forest to avoid bullies, trips into a fae circle, uh oh?? Except Yoichi finds him and is like: “free child? Free son?”
Yoichi is all like “I WILL KEEP YOU!” And Izuku is very lonely and wants to be wanted and doesn’t believe anyone would care if he disappeared so he’s all like “Okay! :)”
And Yoichi is like: “Oh. I understand. I need to kill someone. Worry not, my dear child.”
This is a very humorous and abbreviated/incomplete version of the AU. I guarantee more angst. I would know, I’m a few thousand words in :)
Oh this looks absolutely fantastic! I hope you'll drop us a link when you get something posted!

Hello fantastic fandom fellows!
Just an update on my general life I suppose. I am a writer, if you didn't already know and I have many, many WIPs that I can't wait to be completed...
Unfortunately I am cursed with the blessing of ADHD, however I have long since learned my lesson and no longer post works that I have not completed... however that means that currently, none of my works are posted.
I will (eventually) post my stories on our wonderful AO3 for your consumption... but I'm hoping a little hype will force my brain into submission
Thusly, we come to the purpose of this post. To inform y'all about my different works so y'all can ask questions or just be hyped for my future works or whatevs. This, a short listing of fandoms and a brief description of each work.
A warning, most don't have names yet, but I'm working on it!
Good Omens:
A post season 2 story on stopping the Second Coming and remembering the past - M, with mpreg, true forms, Heaven bashing, and torture themes
A Love I Can't Remember - Crowley still feels hunted by their old bosses, but is this paranoia or something more? - M, with flashbacks, PTSD, really fucking powerful Crowley, and some Eldritch Horror themes
BNHA
Hisashi Midoriya is Toshinori Yagi. He tries to balance hero work with secrets and keeping his family safe. - As of yet unrated, Midoriya adults adopted Aizawa, Aizawa/Yamada, so many secrets and lies
All Might is hero by day, Villain by night who falls in love with a certain night nurse - M, AFO is Yagi's Dad, explicit torture and BDSM scenes, Toshinori/Inko
Surprise! You are Izuku's father, Toshinori! - T (probably to go up, I'm mean to the characters I'm sorry), Trans Toshinori, Trans Izuku, Inko was a Vigilante, Adopted Aizawa and Bakugo, Aizawa/Yamada, Very rough childhoods for our favorite parents
All Might is Evil, take 2. Runs evil company. Falls for a Vigilante - M, Toshinko (can you tell I'm a fan), evilnesses and idk I haven't worked as much on this one and I'm not as good as writing bad guys it gives me anxiety.
Inuyasha
Black Horse and a Cherry Tree - Sesshomaru raises Inuyasha's twin and discovers how to love a human - M for spicy scenes, major character death, battle scenes, birth scenes, they are all adults calm tf down! Sesshomaru/Rin, not apologizing (there will be a part two in modern day Japan if I EVER FINISH THIS, IVE BEEN WORKING ON IT FOR A DECADE)
HP
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me Black - Marauders Era, an OC forms friendship with the strangest people and changes the fate of the Wizarding World- M, child abuse, torture, trying to figure out Right from Wrong, vampires
Snape/James/Lily, Snape does his best for his family after his husband and wife die - M, child abuse, grief, mentions of alcoholism, secret relationship, trying to keep the Problem Child from killing himself is really fucking hard
So that brings us around. These are just the ones that I have actively started in some form or fashion. I have a Zutaraang that floats in my head too but have never committed anything to digital paper yet, so don't be afraid to ask about your favorite fandom!

things I wanna see by series' end (in no particular order):
AfO finally gets his
a proper flashback to the fight that gave All Might his scar
a Vestige fight
saving Tomura
Shigaraki being the one to kill AfO, whether by accident or on purpose
classic "one character on the verge of death prompts other character to push to his absolute limit"
Vestige!Yagi minus flame aura
some sort of proper goodbye between Toshinori and Nana
finding out who Izuku's real father is
by which I mean, having Izuku finally call All Might "dad"
(but honest, where's Mr Midoriya? [my money is on AfO using Hisashi as his current body])
happily ever after

FEBUWHUMP DAY 6 | SECRETS REVEALED | wc: 1,156 | Coraline AU snippet! for context... AfO is the Other Father who’s back for Round Two after Toshinori (+ Nana) successfully locked him back in the vault/Other World; Izuku’s about to embark on his quest to save Inko, but first, every hero needs to learn the lore.
//
With his mother gone for the second day in a row, seemingly without anyone knowing any better, not even her overbearing co-workers--Izuku swallows past the remorse in his throat and steels himself for the return to that Other World. His hands are shaky with nerves. The memory of his Other Father’s long arms embracing a frightened Midoriya Inko close, propping his chin on top of her head and leering at Izuku--
His Other Father had said, “You’re trembling, Midoriya Izuku. What can your Quirkless self even muster in her defense?”
But he has to go. He can’t leave her, not when she’s all Izuku has.
The only problem is that the key to the vault has been repossessed by Mr. Yagi, who only returns to the apartment building late at night, if he ever returns at all. When Izuku considers how he’s supposed to retrieve it, his first instinct is to break into the man’s living quarters.
Mr. Yagi had held the key between two long skeletal fingers like it was diseased. He wouldn’t want to carry it on his person, and after a careful question posed to the landlord, Mr. Yagi didn’t seem to trust Mr. Torino with the key either.
Fair. Mr. Torino’s negligent approach to household security had been like, half the reason Izuku managed to find his way to the Other World. It is, alarmingly, the reason why Izuku finds himself camped out at Mr. Yagi’s door. He’s ignored his first instinct (burglary is tougher than it looks!) and is going with his second: conning his way into Mr. Yagi’s apartment, and scrabbling his way through any and every drawer until the key is back.
The conversation between him and the landlord regarding his newfound earnestness to talk to Mr. Yagi is short.
“What are you doing down there?”
“Um,” Izuku had answered clumsily, “waiting to talk to Mr. Yagi.”
“Huh. You need a snack? Might be waitin’ a long time.”
“I’m fine, thank you.”
And just like that, Mr. Torino had nodded and hobbled down the stairs to the ground floor, wooden cane clacking against the linoleum in an unsteady rhythm. Izuku remains pressed up against the door, yellow backpack clutched in his lap, for hours after dinner until Mr. Yagi’s slow footsteps come into his hearing.
He doesn’t rise to his feet yet. Instead, he watches Mr. Yagi enter the hallway and freeze upon seeing Izuku, rocking back on his heels as if he’d like to retreat.
“Midoriya-shonen,” he rasps in greeting. “Torino-sensei mentioned you’d been waiting…”
Izuku nods mutely, because he is frantically digging through his head for that internal script of how he’d steal the key back.
“Well? What was it you needed?”
“My mother--” Izuku claps a hand over his mouth, horrified at his reflexive slip.
“Your mother,” Mr. Yagi echoes, blankly, until something clicks for the man. His jaw drops and his skin tone, already a sickly tan, drains even more. He lurches forward. Izuku recoils against the door, shrinking--but Mr. Yagi’s already fallen to a knee, reaching out with long arms to grasp Izuku’s shoulders. “Your mother. Where is she?”
“She’s… she’s not here.”
“A villain?” he mutters to himself, then shakes his head. “No, no, you’re a smart young man. You would’ve gone to the police.” Mr. Yagi peers at Izuku’s face. It doesn’t seem to matter that his eyes are heavily shadowed, sunk deep in his skull by exhaustion and evident malnutrition--the eyes glow a bright, burning blue. “Did you reject the deal, Midoriya-shonen?”
“The deal?”
“With the Other Father,” says Mr. Yagi.
Izuku stares, and Mr. Yagi holds the attention solemnly, unflinchingly, before he sighs and creaks back into a standing position. He gestures for Izuku to rise too, and reaches into his pocket for--his apartment key. Of course. Hadn’t Izuku already determined that Mr. Yagi wouldn’t keep the vault key on his person?
“Come in. You have time for tea, I think.”
Unsteadily, Izuku follows Mr. Yagi. The man changes his work shoes for indoor slippers and heads for the kitchen. Izuku clutches the straps of his backpack as he scans the tidy apartment for any potential hiding spots, but he manages to say, “It’s… it’s almost been two whole days. I can’t waste another second.”
The door clicks shut behind Izuku; two ceramic mugs are pulled from a high kitchen cabinet, and Mr. Yagi puts a tea bag in each before filling them with hot water. He tips his head towards a table with two chairs.
“Yagi-san,” he says, “you know what I’m here for.”
“And you’ll have it, I promise,” says Mr. Yagi. “But first. Tea.”
Izuku toes off his sneakers and takes a seat, putting his backpack in his lap and hugging it, even as a mug is set in front of him. Steam curls like an invitation, lightly fragrant as opposed to the strong brews that the Midoriya household subsists off of. He resists the urge to drink.
Mr. Yagi takes the opposite seat and merely cradles the ceramic between two palms, as if the heat is insignificant. His eyes are downcast, but his voice is firm. “Your mother should still be alive, Midoriya-shonen, if you haven’t turned down the Other Father. You didn’t, correct?”
“I wasn’t going to accept the deal,” says Izuku, stung. “I wasn’t--I wasn’t even really thinking about it.”
“I know,” Mr. Yagi placates. “But where the Other Father doesn’t hear a no, he sees a chance to pull from you a yes.”
“When did you meet him?”
“... A little older than you, I think. My final year of junior high. It was… a stressful time for me, and as you might have noticed, Midoriya-shonen, the Other Father excels at weaving paradise for weary children.”
“You didn’t take the deal,” he observes. “But you’re acting like you lost your mother to him.”
“In a way. My guardian--she was known as Seventh Wonder, partner to Gran Torino.”
“Oh,” says Izuku, trying not to think about that parodic interpretation of what he now realizes featured Mr. Yagi’s parental figures. The garish costumes, the florid dialogue--the strange, tender way Seventh Wonder’s model had pressed a hand to Gran Torino’s chest. “Was it like now?”
“Not quite.”
“What happened?”
“Arrogance,” says Mr. Yagi. “Plain, stupid arrogance. The Other Father is a trickster prone to dramatics, and a sore loser, but fortunately for us, he’s remarkably straightforward in his actions. He’ll try to tell you that his plans are myriad and layered, Midoriya-shonen, but when it comes down to the wire… You’ll win.”
“You can’t know that,” Izuku says in a small voice. “I’m--I’m just Deku.”
“Mm. Let me tell you another secret then, ‘just Deku.’” Mr. Yagi pushes his chair back a little. Then, with a controlled inhale--All Might is sitting right there, holding a mug of tea that he also just made for Izuku. “Does it help that All Might believes in you?”
“Hghahahgh,” he manages.

What is down with the ship AU?
Tumblr media
Soooooo yeah.... Down with the Ship is kinda my self indulgent Titanic themed au. It's not exactly based on the movie, I'm just really fascinated with the whole story of the actual ship.
But I'll go over some of the main points.
- the au centers around Izuku and Shoto specifically (it's a big tddk au).
- Izuku boards the ship, under Gran Torino's care who is one of the higher up workers/possibly Captain.
- Izuku is trying to follow his mother to America. Inko had escaped her husband's domineering control with the help of Toshinori Yagi.
- but unfortunately Izuku could not come with and had been hiding away with Torino until they could finalize his passage under a fake name.
- Izuku is boarded on first or second class as Anataki Mikumo.
- Shoto is on the ship with his father, who hopes to expand his business empire in the Americas.
- Shoto is upset about having to leave the rest of his family and being forced into a career he doesn't enjoy.
- but he lacks the will to break free from his control.
- but then they meet.
- one who is looking for freedom and hopes for a better future.
- and one who hasn't had hope in so long and is stuck in his past.
- Also Hisashi(afo) is also on the ship determined to go to the states and drag his wife and son back home if he has to!

And now for something completely different: headcanons for an AU where Toshinori Yagi was the Seventh One for All holder and Nana's teacher, and Nana became the Symbol of Peace.
Roleswaps are always fun to do.
This means that Toshinori had Gran Torino as a best friend instead. Although, it's more like, "good friend who terrifies the shit out of me to motivate me but I know will always be there for me no matter what" Oh, and he's still born quirkless here. However, he managed to be a hero thanks to En giving him OFA. Nana still has Float.
They met when All Might saw 12-year-old Nana trying to fight off members of a gang by herself to defend someone else. He quickly stepped in, and seeing how she managed to use her quirk in tandem with her heroic instincts, he offered to train her. She accepted.
Torino still used his harsh training methods, but All Might had an outside perspective and bought those teaching books earlier. Torino thought he was being soft-hearted, but the Dad Might instincts cannot be tamed, and he treated Nana as his own daughter. Not only did he teach her the way a father does his daughter, but he cooked her lunch and cheered her on when she started at UA, which is when he passed on OFA.
Because I'm a bit of a sucker for Dad Might, I'm going to mess with the timeline here. All Might survived past Nana's graduation and got to go to her wedding and even babysat her son a few times. In the end, All Might ends up getting killed battling AFO sometime when her son turns three. (I like to think that OFA wouldn't have faded so quickly if he still had his organs intact) She would become #1 hero, the Symbol of Peace, just six months after his death.
Her husband lives, so Kotaro doesn't go to foster care and gets a good childhood, meaning he doesn't become abusive. Hana lives and Tenko doesn't become a villain, in fact, he's quirkless. Unfortunately, there's another problem. OFA is slowly draining her life force. It's not too bad at first, but she still doesn't tell anyone besides her husband (who I headcanon was a nurse). By the time Tenko's born, it's clear that she's starting to crack under the strain. Literally. She got a new costume to cover some of the cracks starting to appear, but she can't hide the white in her hair and how she's making less and less public appearances.
She and her nurse husband figure out that it's OFA sapping her strength, but they don't know what to do about it. She's certainly not going to Torino, and most heroes are in the HPSC's pocket, making her distrustful of them. While she doesn't have a muscle form like All Might does in canon, the cracks in her skin start bleeding after too much exertion. Nezu offers her a teaching position to give her more time to figure something out. She needs a successor, but what's to stop this from happening again? There's something they're missing...
You pick what happens from here. Will she find Izuku Midoriya or will her grandson get it? Or maybe someone else entirely.

AFO (after everyone denied his claim on his perfect son):
I’ll take this to the Court
Judge: The Court rules in favor of Yagi Toshinori. I find he is clearly the boy's biological father!
AFO: *Seething
Hell Lawyer: Sensei, I warned you this wasn’t my area of expertise.
That's actually a lie as the Hell Lawyer is an expert in everything, it's just that AFO is such bad father material that it would take a divine miracle for him to win custody.

The last nova, please!
BNHA x Star Wars AU. Temporary title.
DFO AU. Izuku is emperor Hisashi's only son. His father wishes for him to become a perfect heir and attempts to teach him the Dark side of the Force. Unfortunately, despite his best efforts, his seemingly lack of skills in that one area annoys Hisashi, it seems his son cannot stir anger the way he his supposed to. He vault send him away from the court while he think about his future.
After AFO's takeover 100+ years ago, the Jedi order has been on the run accross the outer rim and regularly cooperate with rebel factions.
Thinking that Izuku holds important information or could be used as hostage, a rebel faction manage to get their hands on prince Izuku. While interrogated, he catches the eye of Jedi master Toshinori Yagi, who feels that there is more to the boy than just being a despot's sithspawn.
Against the Council's advice, Toshinori will end up taking Izuku under his wing. Turns out Izuku's potential in the Force bloomed in the Light side more so than the Dark side.
AFO deploys his enforcer -Yoichi- to retrieve Izuku and smite anything in his path as exemple. It is more as retaliation of stealing an important piece from him and under his nose than out of guenuine worry for his son.
Despite everything, Izuku does cares about his father. But being on the other side of the coin and seeing the darker side of the galaxy he's supposed to rule over, he starts questioning his father and his loyalties.
One for All is the name of Yoichi's Jedi lineage. It was composed of very skilled, albeit short-lived, Jedi knights and masters with unorthodox abilities and methods that got passed down each generation.
While AFO is Palpatine's equivalent, Yoichi is the one currently filling the role of Vader as Hisashi's Sith apprentice and enforcer. Yoichi used to be a skilled Jedi, albeit with a frail health and body. After some gaslighting/treachery on AFO's part, he turned his brother naive and hopeful heroic values against him, cornering him and making him go too far to go back. Having too much regret and ashamed of what he did, Yoichi fell while being in complete denial, convincing himself that what he did was for the greater good. With his brother's teaching and the help of the Dark side, Yoichi has become healthier and deadlier, able to serve justice and order as his brother he sees fit.
Yoichi is 100+ years old as well. AFO discovered how to use the Dark side to slow down the aging process and shared it with Yoichi upon having him as apprentice.
Unable to go back to the Jedi order, Yoichi is now chained at AFO's side. Indeed, AFO had planned for years to takeover the galaxy for himself, thus he also studied how to make his brother fall and make him stay at his side, as he knew conflict between factions would brew and he wanted to not have his brother on the other side of the war.
