There's a long frame with gold on it, and inside of it is a nail set he got her his first time ever (that was three years ago 💀) She told him it was coming off, and she was so sad because he got it for her (he fell in love with her more because of that) so he helped her get them off, and he told her that he'll throw them away.

once she left he threw them in his pocket so fast and ran off to his room 💀💀 and then there's a pedestal on the table, and it has a small, marble bust of Sweetheart he paid someone to do on etsy (HE LOVES ETSY IM NOT CHANGING MY MIND) and what's crazy is that all of its glued down to the table, and there's a button behind it, so he presses that button when Sweetheart comes around and the table top flips, being empty and he places magazines on the clean top 🧍‍♀️ THE MAN HAS A SECRET CONTRAPTION FOR HIS SHRINE

They don't really have shrines like Krueger (because he's delusional) but everyone does have a picture of Sweetheart or some sort of gift she's made them somewhere in their room. Or on them.

Like Alejandro has a small gold locket of Sweetheart he wears around his neck and NEVER TAKES IT OFF-- and when he's about to go on a mission, he kisses the locket, says a small prayer and puts it under his shirt, so he knows that he's protected and has someone to go back to (why am I making myself cry)

Rudy has a picture of Sweetheart framed with a letter she sent him on his desk with the little things she's made him. He reads the letter every time he misses her (WHY AM I DOING THIS TO MYSELF)

Ghost wears a braided friendship bracelet Sweetheart made him. (Its black and blue with lil skulls) He hides it on his left wrist with his glove, but he still wears it. When he's not around Sweetheart, he plays with the ties and smiles

Soap has like a little collage of pictures of Sweetheart and him on a corkboard. They take pictures when they're in a new country or state and collect weeds of flowers and give it to each other (SO CUTE I LOVE SOAP) and his sketchbook is FILLED of Sweetheart-- like he remembers what she looks like so much he sketches her from memory. And he uses a separate sketchbook for her, he calls it "Sweet's Looks".

Gaz only has one picture of her, and it's on his phone. It's Sweetheart cuddled up on his side, hand on his chest while watching a movie. It's obviously his home screen wallpaper (not his lock screen he can't handle that) he also has a little basket of different rocks Sweetheart has given him because she has a little basket of rocks he has given her as well (they're birds I tell ya)

Price has a photo of her in his hat. That's why he never lets anyone touch it, and his heart beats a little quicker when Sweetheart wears is hat cause he's nervous she's gonna see the picture (she has, and it's her and Brutus together and she squeals everytime in her mind)

Roach has a picture of Sweetheart taped to a bear. 🧍‍♀️ don't really wanna go into that one--

Alex has like- one of those photo booth type of pictures. Yk the ones that come in threes or fours. They went to a mall and Sweetheart HAD to get some. Alex uses his as a bookmark.

Now Horangi is like Krueger. He DOES have a shrine but it's in his closet. You will NEVER SEE IT.

König would have a shrine in his closet as well, but it's SMALL. Like two pictures and a good luck letter she wrote to him when he was on a mission. He's so soft for her good lord.

Graves has like.... I don't know a paperclip? That Sweetheart gave him? Think he still has that pen that Sweetheart forgot to take back. Still counts.

my predictions for the romantic relationships in fantasy high junior year, mild spoilers for the first episode

kristen: trackerbees is doomed. they're long distance and cannot handle it. firmly believe that they're already broken up by episode one and kristen is in her "first lesbian break up" arc. i think she's gonna also have a hey mamas lesbian flirting experience that's going to be incredibly embarrassing for everyone involved. support her deeply for that tbh.

fig: her and ayda are doing well but maybe I'm manifesting this. they have to confront the fact that they care about each other but want to be individuals. they look at trackerbees and go maybe let's not do that.

gorgug: I'm partially through the seven which takes place during junior year for them I believe but I think. they'll be okay. i think zelda and gorgug are gonna be fine, I just wanna see more from them. don't care if its positive or negative I just wanna see them so badly.

fabian: had/has a messy fwb thing with aelwyn that turned out terribly and everyone hates. learning to not be so obsessed with his external appearance. so so badly wants to be flirted with and is not, in fact, flirted with. ecaf is very bad for him.

riz: wants so badly to NOT be flirted with and is, in fact, flirted with. he's hot now to people and he hates it. npcs keep flirting with him and he runs the other direction. they flirt with him in front of fabian and theyre both massively upset by it.

adaine: she has a moment of awkward flirting with an npc bc her friends encouraged her to shoot her shot bc she thought they were kind of cute. she hates it and decides never to do that again. lives vicariously through her friends relationships. (if she does get a romantic interest they've gotta be the coolest person ever for me to budge on my aroace coded adaine)

bonus ideas: ragh gets a boyfriend this season who does not fetishize him. jawbone/gorthalax/sandra lynn/garthy o'brien are in a weird polycule. hilariel and gilear get engaged. (i also want it to happen that the bad kids get the wedding invitation mid quest and have to rush back to the wedding).

do u have any tips/advice on how to identify and separate intrusive thoughts vs anxiety vs coincidence vs ‘this a fucking sign from the gods PAY ATTENTION’ cause tbh i feel so alone and def fuckng insane :)

First of all sugs, you're not alone. 💚 I definitely struggle with intrusive thoughts and it can be a terrible struggle between a "sign" and "wow you're in a park of course you saw a bird". You're not insane, there's just a lot in the world and even inside yourself for one human brain to process. I'm going to try to break this up into intrusive thoughts + anxiety then into coincidence + signs because it feels easier to lay out that way. We'll talk magical and mundane ways to work through this. I'm sending you good vibes babes. 🤍✨

I constantly have to remind myself that thoughts are not facts and I shouldn’t believe everything I think.

Sometimes when I have an intrusive thought I visualize myself as this dope ass paladin and I literally fight my thoughts away? I just close my eyes and meditate and focus on being the strong person I want to be and slay my own dragons. Sometimes that’s too hard and I just picture All Might because he’s Best Dad, if you have a favorite character I would give it a shot.

Aromatherapy bracelets and necklaces can be super helpful as well. Medicinally speaking lavender, chamomile, and opium would be the most mentally easing. Magically speaking pine, oak, lavender, valerian root, and hawthorn are all great for stability/protection in my experience.

I personally carry around a sachet of onyx, rose quartz, lavender, pine, and oak.

You can minimize the damage of intrusive thoughts with self-help. This includes being mindful in the wake of an intrusive thought. Don’t waste your time obsessing over why you had that thought or what it all means. I’ve noticed once I learned to get past asking, “why am I thinking this?” all the time they don’t weigh as heavily on me. You are not your thoughts.

Intrusive thoughts are kind of just like a really loud boombox to me. Usually, if I listen to music I can really get into I can quiet down the thoughts. For the past four months or so Nujabes has been amazing musician to turn too. This past month Modal Soul has been the album that helps the most. It usually takes me a full album to feel normal again and I feel albums give me more stability than a playlist but honestly do what’s best for you.

Compulsive behavior can manifest when you try to change who you are based on the intrusive thoughts you experience. Changing who you are and your reality because of a thought that isn’t necessarily rational is the worst way to go about it. Stop trying to change who you are so you can adjust to your thoughts. Try to think about yourself in a third person perspective, “what would (insert name here) do in this situation?” This might not work for everyone but it’s helped me out once I started noticing the patterns.

From a magical perspective I’ve noticed moonstone is the stone that helps me the most. However most of my intrusive thoughts are PTSD related and I feel like moonstone helps me because it’s also stabilizing and can help prevent dissociation. I do also really enjoy onyx, tigers eye, and rose quartz as well!

Learn to recognize the starting signs for your intrusive thoughts. When my intrusive thoughts begin, they usually start off pretty simple. It’s one thought that feeds into a bigger insecurity or fear. Once you can spot the first thought you can start fighting it.

On the focus of coincidence versus a sign:

If I'm unsure if it's a sign I ask myself why I'm looking for a sign or if my gods made it clear to me to look out for one. Am I in a turning point in my life? Do I know I need guidance? Did previous divination point towards a sign coming my way?

Sometimes coincidence is the sign. If you're trying to decide if you want a purple or green wedding fit and you're driving down the road and see a shit ton of purple cars. I would call that a sign. If it's something you're actively thinking about and then it's glaringly in your face - I read that as a sign.

I've personally asked my gods to send me a sign three times if they're trying to tell me something. So that way I know.

I also take into account where I am. For example: I tend to read falcons and hawks as a sign or general greeting from Freyja. I live five miles from a national park though - hawks are every where, if I'm looking I can pretty much always find one or two on the way to or from work. Not really a sign if it's just local ecosystem at play.

That being said - they can still be signs. It's one thing if a bird of pray is just sitting on a lamp post. It's another to see it sitting on my car or catching a snake right outside my window. Common things aren't always signs - it can just be the mundane. That's when it's important to think about how it appeared and how it made you feel. Intuition is a powerful tool.

Ask yourself how you're feeling. I know this is probably a typical response but I know I personally read into everything when I'm anxious. I will catastrophize. Anything and everything becomes a sign of impending doom, fear of failure, etc. It's important to be aware of your inner dialogue and feelings when looking for signs.

If divination is a strong suit for you, consider using your divination tools as a way to verify if something was or was not a sign.

This is 100% personal belief but if a deity comes to me in a dream I will always read it as a sign. My dreams with gods are far and few between but relationships with them run very deep.

Regarding the split!Kim AU I'm just gonna put my ramble of thoughts out on here.

1. Okay so what events led to Kim wanting to remove his younger self? What inner turmoil, self depreciating nonsense thoughts did he put himself through?

2. Where did Kim find this magic spell and how did he follow through with it without searching for it's consequences/side effects? Did he go down a black hole on the web and found the most reviewed witch/ spell out there to help him? Idk how to words more on this brainrot

3. How long was it till Kim hid what he did and how did young!Kim reach the compound??

4. What all young!Kim must be thinking and what did he do that everyone in the compound realized something was wrong? (Plus I hope Korn is dead in this, he doesn't deserve to be alive)

5. What was Chays reaction to young!Kim and how he takes care of him and spends time with him? (just being the most loving, and Kim feels so touched and full of unknown feelings because Chay?? the love of his life?? accepts and appreciates and treats young!Kim like he's the most precious in this entire world???)

6. Young!Kim's reaction to finding out about Wik? Is he shocked/ surprised/ wonderstruck? In complete awe of himself of the future?

7. How does Kim behave with young!Kim? Is he hesitant at first? But then he sees the way everyone else treats him and has Feelings™ and then thinks (a lot) and maybe something happens like some new stupidass bodyguard shouting at/ hurting young!Kim and Kim just snapping out on him, completely pissed off and in the worst rage he could ever have, completely protecting young!Kim like who tf you think you are?? How dare you??

Anon darling I'm kissing you on the forehead, you're hitting so many of my story points with these asks! I feel Seen.

I haven't decided what Kim specifically does/feels that makes him want to do this in the first place. Since I started the fic where it's already happened, I just kinda. Handwaved it. But he does comment on the fact that Chay has been pushing him towards therapy, so that's probably part of it. Kim would rather lose all his memories than talk about his feelings. He's also 2 years into dating Chay (which honestly. That's bc I wanted baby Kim to be 13, and aging Kim up to 23 gave me an easy 10 years to work with. Tbh it would work better if Kim were only a few months into dating Chay and he was willing to do anything to Be A Good Person/Boyfriend/makeup for the breakup. BUT I DIGRESS!) Anyway being with Chay makes Kim want to be/feel better, and this is his nuclear solution. It does not work.

I also don't know how he did it! I... hesitate to write white pagan magic in KP fics. Maybe Kim pulled a Porsche and went to a monk for help dealing with his traumas, and ended up with a modified past life ritual that ended up splitting him right down the middle. The most important side effect is the way Kim feels about his brothers now; Tawan trauma happened when Kim was a little older, so the Kinn his child self remembers is still very loving and happy, he hasn't pulled away yet. But for adult Kim, who's memories start when he was a teenager... there was so much distance between him and his brothers, and then he moved out a couple years later, so he feels like they're practically strangers to him. Like really distant family that you only see at weddings and funerals. Meanwhile kid!Kim is a precocious little smol who's cuddling both of them whenever he can. (Khun loves it, Kinn has no idea what to do with it but he loves it too. Adult Kim is jealous but wouldn't know how to accept affection from them.)

It all happens pretty much the next day/couple days later, as of the current time line! Kim goes to the temple and does his thing. Kid!Kim manifests wherever he was when the memory split happens; so he just. Wakes up somewhere in the middle of Bangkok, and has to find his way back to the compound. Meanwhile KimChay are living in his condo, obliviously going about their lives. It takes a while for Kid!Kim to get home, then he's sneaking all around because things are different and he doesn't understand why (and he keeps stabbing people, but like. stabby the Roomba more than murder); Kinn has to find him/calm him down/get Porsche involved and figure out what's going on before anyone thinks to call Chay (who's been busy having sex with adult Kim lol)

Korn is dead! Bc I'm lazy and didn't want to think about all the terrible things he could do to mess with smol Kim! Like I said, Kim is kind of a feral cat just let loose in the compound, surrounded by people he doesn't know and freaking out a lot, until the guards finally get him cornered in his old room and notify Kinn. Then eventually Chay gets a call from Porsche, and he goes to the compound with adult Kim, and it's a whole Thing.

Chay absolutely adores kid!Kim. He's absolutely feral but he's also a cutie pie, and he gets a crush on Chay quick. Chay loves it; he was such a lovestruck kid with Kim, now it's his turn! (And he teases adult Kim soo much about how he like likes him >,<). Adult Kim is weird with his younger self at first, bc as far as he's concerned, this may as well be a random child. So Chay schlorps him up quick bc the poor kid needs love. And Kim does come to appreciate the way Chay takes care of his younger self (he has some very odd memories about it when they're eventually reunited.)

My goodness, young Kim is so excited. At that age, he had all these dreams about the life he wished he could have, but he never thought it would really happen. But he got away from his father, he gets to chase his dreams of making music, he has a (very cute!!) boy that loves him, that he gets to love in return. It's all his dreams come true. Again, Chay thinks this is adorable, that Kim was such a dreamy little kid. (Kim is also so excited when he finds out that!! Chay lets him write songs about him!! that's so cool!!! And Chay writes him songs too!?!?!)

Like I said, at the start kid Kim may as well be some random child, he's vaguely curious about what happened but has no personal investment (kid Kim might be. a little. heartbroken about that. He's very sensitive.) But overtime Kim warms up to him, learns how to love him and take care of him. It's seeing this as someone else, rather than himself, that allows him to "forgive" himself. It's easy to blame himself for all the bad parts of his life when he's not looking that poor kid in the eyes. And bc I think cuddles are important, and Kim definitely wasn't hugged enough as a child, there's many snugs. There are still Mafia Things going on around all this that Kim has to deal with, so kid Kim spends a lot of time with Chay and his brothers, but there are a lot of times where he's asleep between KimChay. He kind of is like their kid in some ways. It's an odd dynamic for Kim, especially when he gets those memories of being cuddled by himself and Chay?? But ultimately it's a good thing for him. (Except the Porsche memories. He doesn't want those 😤)

Paula- her baby boy is getting married! She has had a little chat with Father Davies once the initial Felix Shock passed; there was a little worrying about Oliver's immortal soul, but she's a very trusting person, and Father Davies is very chill. "You don't love Oliver any less, so neither does The Big Man Upstairs." That was enough for her.

She is absolutely a nuisance at Saltburn, because she cannot STOP DOING THINGS. Traditional British mum, and she keeps interrupting Oliver and Felix trying to get five minutes alone. "Oliver, love, do you or Felix want a snack?" "Felix, dear, I'm a bit lost- would you mind reminding me where my room is?"

Jeff- he still does not Get It but if Oliver's happy then that's fine. He has absolutely gotten into a few spats with his mates when he mentioned Our Oliver's getting hitched in the pub. Mostly because Oliver is marrying some posh wanker, which Jeff takes great offence to. Especially as Felix has been a stand up bloke and paid for the girls to go off to London to get fancy dresses, and has been very enthusiastic about Oliver's family bringing some friends down if they want.

He has been trying to give Felix a Fatherly Talk about hurting Oliver, except he's still kinda using the speech he prepared for his daughters, so it always ends up a bit confused.

Jess/Hannah- They are mostly confused about how on earth Oliver snagged this man. They're a good 7/9 years older than him, so they were always a unit and he was the accessory dork- and by the time he wasn't just an annoying baby they were pretty much grown ups.

They're actually enjoying getting to know him as an adult, and there's a bit of Older Sibling Guilt going on.

Also, a chance to get dressed up and get drunk? Awesome.

The Niblings-

They are all absolutely stoked. Oliver has always just been like... a card at birthdays and a tenner at Christmas, so now he's suddenly cool??? Awesome

Saltburn is a dream, the Cattonlets are just effortlessly NICE. The girls are already a Squad because of insta.

Ru and Connor have a fight when Connor says something rude- they're playing video games and the trashtalking starts fun but gets a bit TOO rough. It actually bonds them a bit, though, because Ru is actually tough as nails even though he's quiet. An abrupt diversion from being a bit of a Fifa Lad for Connor, tbh.

To the anon who brought that up, btw she was never asked that! Someone lied just to stir some shit up, but the harries who went to the play, one had a Pleasing shirt that got allegedly complimented by Taylor R but no question about Harry was brought up to her.

Also on the matter, what I find annoying with ppl trying to figure out whether or not they're a thing is the invasiveness of the fans which makes the whole situation very uncomfortable for both parties! I'm pretty sure Harry has warned TR of what would happen being seen together and she is aware of it but still, I can't imagine how uncomfy this must be to see ppl trying to theorise everything and affirming things based on just sighting of you walking! What makes the whole thing even more odd is to see how his own fans keeps sexualising him everytime he is seen with an attractive person as if the man can't have attractive friends platonically but has to fuck all of them everytime and if this is getting me tired, I can't even imagine what it must be like for Harry. For now I see a lot of projections and speculations which pmo tbh bc as a black woman myself, I see a lot of bipoc harries wanting them to date so they can use it as a "gotcha" towards white harries and also project thru Taylor and have this idea that Harry could be attracted to them... Another aspect that gets on my nerves is ppl wanted those two to date so it brings "diversity" to Harry dating life and all of these are so fucked up, bc Taylor is not an object to push projections onto nor a trophy to prove Harry anti-racism! I mean white ppl dating bipoc does not make them automatically anti-racist plus Harry has proven time and time again his anti-racism by uplifting bipoc, donating to charities, making a safe space for bipoc fans/collaborators, etc!

Sorry a long one but it's been annoying me bc this has gotten out of hands and ppl are pushing this for the wrong reason imo (projections/diversity) and I feel like we should not care about his dating life so much, we should stop viewing him or any attractive woman around him as uniquely sex objects that can't refrain from their impulses bc it's making the situation so uncomfy for Harry and the person he's seen with bc imagine having millions of strangers speculating on lives when they don't know you. Some ppl are comparing it to the situation w OW but with OW they were holding hands at a private wedding like it was obvious something was happening here it's not the case in this situation so we really dunno anything and high chances are that they're friends and/or collaborators for a project (manifesting Harry for Loewe real hard!!!). Either way, we shouldn't be over analysing them like that, I know ppl in the fandom are jealous and parasocially infatuated with Harry but still it's weird esp when ppl are affirming things they dunno (saying Taylor R and Harry are dating) when they don't know shit and are just projecting with little evidence concretely proving they're dating!

I have an opinion about that topic, but for now I don’t feel the need to expose it. Like I’ve said before, I don’t think that what we had access to is enough to make this a huge discussion topic. I have an opinion because I’m a curious human being so I do like to talk with my own buttons and just navigate on stuff, not because I’m actually that interested 😅 tbh, overall, this is just too much and we shouldn’t even think about it.

I still think that going to her workplace with a pleasing hoodie is weird. Sorry, I’m happy that there were no questions made but it’s still odd… anyways, I absolutely agree that this has gotten out of hands and that whatever is going on, there’s nothing to analyze deeply :)

4. Who initiates affection? Why does the other not initiate affection as much?

Val did in the beginning, before they were actually together. Con was closeted at the time and very reserved so Val didn't want to be too forward, but every now and again they would just lay their head on his shoulder or reach out to squeeze his hand so he would know that they were willing to be patient with him.

Con definitely came out of his shell once they were officially together following the events of the masquerade, though. Since then it's mostly been him initiating. Val is over the moon about it, tbh. They're very weary of accidentally overstepping boundaries, so Con being so openly affectionate has been incredibly affirming for them.

8. What do they love most about the other? Why?

I don't know if I should be speaking for Con since he doesn't belong to me, but Val really loves how goofy Con can be. The dad jokes, the way he matches their teasing, just how playful and dorky they both are. There's no shortage of things that Val loves about Con, but that's a big one.

9. What do they dislike most about the other? Why?

First of all how dare you.

Second of all, I mean. I presume Val's recklessness has to be a bit of a source of stress for Con. They're working on that though <3

And listen Val just loves people a lot. Val loves Con a lot. No notes. They're maybe a little upsetti that he's legally married with children because they want a real wedding dammit, but listen. They were illegal married once and they can do it again. A ceremony would be nice though. They have Priest friends who can bend the rules, right?

26. What sacrifices do they make for the other?

Val has been tempering themself a bit for Con's sanity. They have a strong need to prove themselves capable of independence and that often manifests as them running headlong into certain death, but Con doesn't like it when they do that so they're trying to stop <3 They're sacrificing...personal security. Asking for help is a very scary thing for them, but Con earnestly wants to be someone who can be leaned on, so Val has been trying to be more okay with being cared for.

And I imagine must be sacrificing something when he sees Val tear open a hole in reality that turns people into ground beef ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Am joking, but again I don't feel too comfortable making assumptions since he isn't my character.

27. How do they say “I love you” non-verbally?

Okay, well, I'm not really sure that this constitutes as a joke outside of like. Party shenanigans, but I'll bite!

So waaay back when Con was first introduced and Val was trying to come up with excuses to spend time with him, Con suggested they play a game of chess. One game in, and Val was getting absolutely thrashed. They hadn't played chess very much, and Con was...well. Con was Con. So round two rolled around and Val, being the little shit brat that they are, read his mind. Every move he made they matched, each time he plotted a different course of action they intercepted. His stream of thought went from "Ah...they're getting the hang of this" to "Was the last game just a fluke?" to "I hope they like me" (!!!!!) to ".....wait a minute, are they cheating?". He started making wildly illogical chess moves just to test out his theory, and after a while of doing that and Val STILL having the upperhand, Con just goes "I have no idea how you're doing it, but you're cheating."

Anyway, flashforward to the masquerade. Con is badly hurt and trapped in a magic circle. If he moves he'll die. If we try to hurt Auric, he dies. If any of us move to retrieve him before Auric is gone, he dies. He has a plan, but he can't say it out loud and risk Auric escaping or hurting one of us. So instead, Con looks at Val, says "Cheating at chess," and Val understands what he needs them to do. They read his mind, and then they do what he asks because they trust him.

So really "cheating at chess" is about implicit trust and a surprisingly deep understanding and partnership between two people who really only met a relatively short amount of time ago, but OKAY FINE GIGGLE IT UP BITES U BITES U BITES U

40. Do they have any regrets in their relationship?

I think Val definitely regrets that Con's been in danger so much because of them. The Priest of Osybus kidnapping and basically torturing him to get to Val, Con literally almost perma-dying in that circle. They have a lot of personal guilt every time something goes awry that they weren't strong enough to fix on their own, particularly if its something that upsets him. I still remember when they died right in front of him during that Morgantha fight. Afterwords they sought him out and just encouraged him to let them have it. They were so sure he was going to be furious with them, call them stupid and foolish and insist they weren't fit for adventuring anymore. And he was furious, but he told them that they were meant to be a team and he wished they would let him help. It was exactly what Val needed to hear and they've been trying to honor that, but they wish they hadn't caused him so much distress in the first place.

45. How do they support each other? How do they rely on each others support?

I like to think that Val is a good listener without being too pushy about it. They have this judgement-free air about them that makes them easy to talk to, but they won't push you to talk about anything you aren't ready to share (unless you're Deyja and they're playing a drinking game). Val also fusses over him a lot. Lil grandparent. You think you're going to get away with moping but you've got another think coming. And Con just sort of...gets where Val's insecurities lie and is an absolute angel about reassuring them. They're both very patient, very willing to talk things through, and I love that for them I love the communication.

49. Do they keep secrets from each other?

Hmmmmmm. I mean in some ways, I suppose? Perhaps not intentionally, and definitely not actively at least on Val's part, but I do suspect there are some things that they might not bring up. Like I know Con's confusion about gender identity hasn't really been discussed with Val yet, though that's more out of a nervousness to say the wrong thing than anything else. And Val is still trying to accept the fact that people might be interested in getting to know them, so uhh. Yes? No?

Oh wait, yes. Val is keeping the fact that they stole one half of Con's last name a secret. Oops.

Now that I have gotten those more angry feelings out of the way. I really do appreciate having you in my life because you have definitely added a new personality and element to it. I’ve never met someone like you. Literally. Never. I have never had a best friend express interest in sleeping together. Crazy. I’ve also never had one that I haven’t met in person before. Those facts aside, I think that you are genuinely a great person who has been dealt bad cards, and you are the way that you are as a result of those cards. I also think they’ve influenced you kind of poorly because I don’t agree with your views on guns nor Trump. You always act hard and okay, but I really feel like you just need a hug or someone to lean on every so often. I don’t mind being that person for you. I feel like I have been a few times throughout our friendship, but I don’t think I can continue being that person forever. I will continue to be that person for now, but you’re going to feel differently when I get a significant other. We met at the time I had a boyfriend, but we weren’t close to the degree that we are now. I would feel really guilty if I wasn’t there for you, but I would also feel bad for my significant other due to the complexity of our friendship so it would really put my mind in turmoil. I remember that we were talking about my wedding, and how I would invite you to come, and you said you would greet my s/o with “Hello, Im Taylor the person your future wife spends all her time with”. I didn’t disagree too much at the time, but in reality, I would end up spending less time with you. I would still spend time with you, but it would be significantly less compared to now. It actually makes me kind of sad thinking about it. That’s all for the future though. I might even be single for the rest of my life because who knows what the future holds. For now, I will continue to be someone you can lean on, but I hope that you can find a nice girl who can dedicate her time to you and who can support/treat you even better than me. My biggest hope is that you can truly feel happy with your life. I may not express it well, but I really care a lot about you. I always want you to do the things you enjoy, I always want to support your goals and dreams regardless of how big or small, and I want to one day hear you tell me that you are happy.

i totally get what you mean, like i once went to a wedding without my family and i felt socially awkward there since my friend are the one who greet all the guests😹 but i felt like a big girl there, going to the big function without my family😹ughh wedding's food are always good, especially their desserts! im the type who went to the desserts table for like 10 times every hour! maybe because it's free😜 oh, in that situation i am your friend, i'm the type who record/take pic of all of my friends and put it on my social media! i think everyone knows who's my friends are😹 and i keep mentioning to everyone abt how dumb my friend rlly are and so on.

eye contact is so attractive to him, he can’t explain it’s exact details

it’s definitely the way the both of you guys can practically read each other’s expressions just by staring into each other’s eyes it’s sorta telepathic?? im half joking

he absolutely loves the way you look away bashfully when you realize he’s staring at you— as you try to pretend he wasn’t just staring at you not so discreetly

and if you feel like it, you’ll stare back at him— totally teasing him with your eyes, as he slowly realizes that you’ve caught him staring

when you put him back in his place- well.. let me explain this one

people are so easily intimidated by him, so people don’t talk at him when he says some shit

so he’ll be genuinely surprised if you talk back at him, because it shows him that you're not afraid of him (and that’s important in a relationship with bakugou)

when you put his face in his palms. he’ll scowl and tell you off, but he actually likes holding your face in his palms

his hands are naturally clammy, so he’s secretly so insecure about them, and if you show him that you really don’t care- then.. that’ll keep him up at night.

same thing with shouto, but if you run to him for warm in colder weathers, that’ll give him an ego boost.

knowing that you’ll only look for him, whenever you feel cold makes him feel all “mushy” inside. again, like how bakugou is- he’ll pretend he absolutely despises it but he’ll actually love it.

mild spice here- but seeing you all worn out, panting under him when he spars with you is something that’ll leave him speechless for the rest of the day. man can’t stop thinking about it, and he has to restrain himself.

last but not the least- it’s when you touch/play with his hair.

okay, if you randomly send him pictures of yourself (either your prettiest pictures, or the weirdest pictures) he’ll be so in love

like— just look at you! you’re gorgeous to him (saves every singe candid photo you’ve send him)

this is a really weird one but.. when you pick up things with your feet (bonus points if you do it with ease.)

when you start fixing your hair, doing whatever to it— he’s just in awe. (have you hypnotized him with your beauty?)

get him things for his hair like headbands, scrunchies, little barretts and pigtails

he’ll keep it in for as long as he can— since his hair is a little wild, a little braid or ponytail wouldn’t hurt, right?

You know who I am gonna ask for, let's be honest. Freddy Krueger. Lay it alllll out!

[Was planning on drawing an entire comic response to this with all the Freddys making appearances but I don't have enough image space on a Tumblr post without separating into reblogs, and I don't have the time or energy lately, let alone the patience to draw multiple variations of his face in several panels. Also it should be noted I started this prior to my undercut, hence the hair.]

What do I love most about Freddy? Uhhh... If I'm being genuine, the unique nature he's got among the wide array of slashers. I think Wes Craven was utterly brilliant coming up with the character, and the nightmare sequences in-film are spectacularly executed.

If we're talking dislikes, that's an entire list. I should probably save it for a separate post, tbh. I've nursed a long grudge against Freddy since my early childhood and that's not exactly gone away yet, even if he's grown on me and I can appreciate him now. For now I'll just say I really don't like having competition for being the most obnoxious-yet-charming bitch in a room.

Got several favorite quotes from this bastard but I'll only list two. "Every town has an Elm Street" is probably the one I quote most as an adult and it's on some of the fan merch I own. But apparently the quote that stuck with kid me for years was "I am eternal" and I forgot it was a Freddy quote until this year and when I saw the GIFs of him saying that I just had an "oh you motHERFUCKER" moment.

BROTP: Can the various Freddys tolerate each other? Probably not, but I can't see him really having friends to even have a BROTP otherwise.

OTP: ...okay, this one should probably get a doodled comic at some point.

NOTP: Quentin. This one shouldn't bear explaining.

A random headcanon I've had for a while that I'm still a little on the fence about is that he probably always had some dormant hypnokinetic abilities. Probably unaware of it most of his life, but could tap into it during his dreams and it likely tied into his coping mechanisms. Unfortunately, his powers didn't actually have a chance to manifest until after the rather awkward business of dying.

Unpopular opinion time? *deep breath* The 2010 reboot had potential, really powerful potential, and the real tragedy of the thing isn't the fans comparing it to the OG '84 film (though that does get old fast.) The comparisons are inevitable. It was the fact that the OG script for 2010 was loads better than the final product we got, and the fact the theatrical ending killed it. I'm glad the "alternate" ending survived to DVD/Blu-Ray release because it's good. If we'd had that as the theatrical ending instead of what we'd got? While it wouldn't have saved the film from some of the jumbled writing and CGI that aged poorly, it would have made the entire thing better. The '84 film was about facing fear, whereas if the "alt" ending was kept in 2010, we would have had a very powerful story about facing one's abuser and overcoming trauma. And it's a shame and a travesty we were robbed of that, because it's a story I think is always needed.

Song that reminds me of him? Ignoring the obvious options and likewise ignoring the fact I should have made a playlist by now and haven't... In general The Python's Song reminds me of him more than it reminds me of Kaa, (despite it having been part of The Jungle Book OST my entire life.) If you wanted something more on the shippy side and you don't mind metal, Black Wedding by In This Moment is one I easily tend to associate with Freddy as well.

I'm not sure if I've picked a single favorite image of him yet, tbh. One day though!
