Geneva ‘74 50 years on: Michelotti Lem. The Laboratorio Elettrico Mobile has started as an idea by engineering journalist Gianni Rogliatti who proposed an electric car with wheels in a rhomboidal layout. Michelotti built the prototype using bonded aluminium with the centrally placed rear wheel driven by 48 Volt batteries. It was displayed 50 years ago at the 44th Geneva Motor Show

Nothing important to see here. Just a man at the checkout buying some aluminium and hard cheese.  (Did you never wonder where he got all those aluminium sheets from in Oathbringer?) Anyway, nothing wrong with being prepared. What would you pack for a journey to Roshar?

Steel Inquisitors "see" with metalsight (the blue lines that steelpush/ironpull allomancers see), right.
And aluminum is allomantically inert and doesn't give the blue line, right.
So would a Steel Inquisitor walk into a panel of aluminum the way a bird flies into a clear glass window?

Who wants to lick this aluminum extract off my hand? I just had a man stop me on the street and pay me eight whole dollars to lick my hand (his body’s aluminum levels were DANGEROUSLY low) and I happily let him eat silver dust from my benevolent palm while his two kids watched, tears welling in their innocent eyes. Someone please clean the rest of my hand, I accept cash or apple stock. (BTW Do NOT lick the bandaid, it is covered in lethal amounts of fentanyl :/ ).

A.L.F.A. 40/60 HP Aerodinamica, 1914, by Castagna. Maybe the world's first concept car was designed by Marco Ricotti of Carrozzeria Castagna based on a 1913 Alfa 40-60 h.p. chassis. It was powered by a 6082cc 4 cylinder engine that produced 70hp at 2200 rpm. Thanks to the aluminium droplet bodywork it could reach a 150 kph (93 mph) top speed. The bodywork was patterned after a dirigible, the engine was accessed through square doors located just behind the front wheels.

Pinwheel Shelter, Upper Susa Valley, Italy,
Perched 2,850 meters above sea level, the Pinwheel Shelter represents a remarkable fusion of architectural innovation and a heartfelt tribute to the late alpinist Stefano Berrone.
This mountain refuge employs prefabricated Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) panels and aluminium cladding to achieve both aesthetic elegance and environmental sensitivity.
Inside, the design is both functional and symbolic, with a central fireplace and sleeping areas arranged around it, reminiscent of traditional Japanese tatami mat proportions. T
By providing a safe haven for climbers and hikers in a region prone to sudden meteorological changes, the shelter serves a vital function while celebrating Berrone's legacy.
