John Green. A culpa é das estrelas🌼

"Little girl, your honesty and pluck have made me a friend, and that's rarer than a lover; it's more unselfish anyhow."

One of the best books I have read in a long time. Toni Morrison’s Beloved tells the story of how America’s slavery haunts the present. I loved her use of suspension, how she compares violence based on race and gender, and how, in the most unexpected moments, Morrison unleashes an experimental, poetic voice that gives the novel so much more depth and bite.
Though this is my first Morrison, this is a book and writer I will be returning to again and again.
