Where did this idea that Chris Argent is the one Argent who cares about the code come from? He's just as bad as his wife, who wants to murder Scott for existing.
I feel like I have a completely different understanding of this that everyone else does. I like him BECAUSE he's a weak-willed jellyfish of a man. He follows orders, there's not much kindness left in him and it's only directed at his daughter. He's a liar who enjoys tormenting teenagers - he was willing to kill Derek and Scott even though he knew they hadn't killed anyone.
The entire point of the Argents is this corrupt family structure. "Women are leaders" they say, as they lie and gaslight Allison. "We don't kill innocents" they say, while shooting Derek and Scott for being outside at night.
How many times did they get it wrong and kill humans? We'll never know because of course they would just cover up the evidence. They were taking potshots at Scott and Derek and didn't even know WHO they were shooting at.
Literally none of them follow the code. They manipulated Allison into setting it aside. The code is bullshit.
"Chris would never torture innocents" bro what show were you watching, you think he didn't know Kate was sexually assaulting and electrocuting Derek?? He didn't seem that fucking surprised to see Erica and Boyd in his goddamn murder basement.
I feel like I am going crazy!!
you are so right.
what do i think of chris argent?
Tumblr media
chris argent is compelling to me because he's not really that good of a person. he has deluded himself into thinking he is.
the indoctrination amongst hunters runs very, very deep. especially with the argents. he never fully becomes deprogrammed. gerard argent deeply damaged both of his children and that is the point. there is no happy ending for the argent family.
kate was gerard's golden child because kate was full tilt sociopathic and enjoyed killing. chris was the lesser of the two in gerard's eyes. we know that while chris did gerard's biding he hadn't been in contact with allison since she was three years old at the time of kate's "death". that tells you chris knew his father's influence was dangerous and corrupting. yet he still let it happen and watched allison be manipulated by his father and become like kate.
three children ended up in his murder and torture basement and the only one i can see him not fully knowing about is stiles because that was gerard's little game. he knew about erica and boyd, he knew what was being done to them and he allowed it. they hadn't done anything to anyone and again they were children. the same age as his daughter. her own classmates. trussed up in his basement.
his intimidates stiles, scott, jackson and derek more than once. people who hadn't done anything wrong. scott, jackson and stiles are all children.
chris also knew full well who and what kate was. he was in denial about it and ignored it. chris isn't a stupid man and i thought it was pretty clear throughout season 1 he had suspicions about kate so he's not even surprised when confronted about it code breaker. he's just disappointed.
he clings to the code because it gives him cover. it gives him a convenient excuse. he can wrap himself up in the code and declare himself a good hunter, not like the others, not like his father and sister when he is. the code is his self-delusion.
he changes because allison died and his code becomes the memory of his daughter. his shitty family and his lack of backbone led down a path that eventually led to her death.
yes allison's decision that night was her own but it was also reckless. why was the archer on the ground? why wasn't she high up like she'd been wise enough to do in frayed or in alpha pact? allison was desperate not only to save lydia but also to prove herself good and make up for her mistakes.
and even when he begins to change it's often conditional.
chris is an interesting character. i like him a lot actually but he's a fucked up person who makes many questionable decisions thought-out the series. he only looks good because gerard and kate are more terrible.

Tumblr media
Five is aged up here.
Characters talking...
Five
Klaus
Vanya
Allison
Diego
Luther
Ben
Pogo
Grace
You
Everyone else talking is white.
Everyone stares at Luther waiting for him to speak. He stands up ready to make his point.
"Um..I guess..."
"C'mon speak up, Luther."
Luther sends Five a glare.
"Before that, I figured we could have some sort of memorial service. You know in the courtyard at sun down."
Klaus flies over to the bar and pulls out his cigarette, smoking away from the group.
"A few words at dad's favorite spot."
"Dad had a favorite spot?"
Luther looked at her confused, how could she not know.
"You know the spot under the oak tree."
Everyone shrugged.
"We used to sit there all the time. None of you ever did that?"
Klaus flies back over, now having two drinks in his hand. He hands one to Five before drinking some of his own.
"Will there be any refreshments?"
Everyone turns towards him.
"Tea? Scones? Cucumber sandwiches are always a winner."
Luther's brows furrowed at the question.
"What? No. And put that out. Dad didn't allow smoking in here."
Five, Diego and Klaus all rolled their eyes at the statement.
"Dad didn't allow a lot of things, Luther."
Luther rolls his eyes at Five.
"Listen up. Still some important things that we need to discuss, all right?"
"Yeah? Like what?"
"Like what?"
Five and Diego were tired of him talking in circles and wanted him to get to the point.
"Like the way he died."
Diego sighs and Klaus sits down.
"Here we go..."
"I don't understand. I thought they said it was a heart attack."
Luther nods at Vanya.
"Yeah, according to the coroner."
"Wouldn't they know?"
"Theoretically."
Vanya was confused at what he was saying but Diego knew exactly what he was saying.
"Theoretically?"
Allison gives Luther a concern look.
"I'm just saying at the very least, Something happened."
"Something, like someone killed him."
"Exactly, He told me I should be careful who to trust."
Diego shakes his head and stands up.
"Luther, he was a paranoid, bitter old man who was starting to lose what was left of his marbles."
Luther shook his head in disbelief.
"No. He must have known something was going to happen."
He looks directly at Klaus with a pleading look in his eye.
"Look, I know you don't like to do it but I need you to talk to dad."
Klaus scoffs and Allison does the same. Klaus shakes his head he was way too high for this.
"I can't just call Dad in the afterlife and be like, 'Dad, could you just...stop playing tennis with Hitler for a moment and take a quick call.'"
Luther looks at him annoyed.
"Since when? That's your thing."
"I'm not in the right...frame of mind."
"You're high?"
"Yes, Yeah!"
Luther points to the ceiling.
"You were just flying."
Klaus lifts up his feet moving his toes around, Vanya moves his foot from in front of her face.
"My flight and my seance powers are two different things. I take my shoes off I fly. I get high, the ghosts go bye, bye."
Luther glares at him as he takes another drag from his cigarette.
"Well sober up. This is important."
"It's nonsense, that's what it is. There are more important things. Like the end of the world."
Luther quickly turns on Five.
"How could you say that? Our dad is dead."
Five shrugs.
"And the world is better off for it."
"I'm with Five on this one."
Luther shrugs him off.
"Then there's the issue with the missing monocle."
"Who gives a shit about a stupid monocle?"
Everyone just stares at Luther as he acts like he made a good point, he starts ranting about how it was someone who held a grudge against Reginald.
"Where are you going with this?"
"Isn't it obvious, Klaus?"
Five glares at Luther and Diego followed along finishing the rest of Five's statement.
"He thinks one of us killed Dad."
The room went silent. Five and Diego continued to glare at Luther, Allison looked offended, Klaus was in disbelief and Vanya was confused.
"You do?"
"How could you say that?"
Diego just shakes his head at him.
"Good job, Luther. Way to lead."
Diego walks away from him. Five gets up as well, flipping him off.
"Our oh so great leader everyone. Screw this."
Klaus gets upset and stands up ready to leave as well when Luther tries to make up an excuse for what Diego said.
"You're crazy, man. You're crazy."
"I'm not finished."
Allison and Vanya also stand up ready to leave the room.
"Sorry, I'm just gonna go murder Mom. Be right back."
"That's not what I was saying."
After everyone left Luther was left alone to process what just happened.
-
A crowd of people hover outside of a bank. An alarm goes off from inside, the SWAT team pulling up at every corner of the place.
Different news channels showed up to get a peek on the action from inside the building. From a building far away Reginald watched along with his adopted child Vanya.
"This is Jim Hellerman, reporting live for Channel 2 News."
"This is Rebecca Coleman, giving you the inside scoop on a recent robbery..."
"John Hughes from Channel 8, three hours ago a group of armed men entered the Capital West bank at main and sixth."
Inside the building a man walked around yelling at his walkie talkie. One of his other partners was struggling to get people to stay behind the desk, he had to wrestle with some of them.
The man on the walkie doesn't notice the younger uniformed girl skipping up behind him until it's too late.
"Hey, get back with the others."
The girl smiles at him leaning in as if to tell him something.
"I heard a rumor."
The man squints his eyes at her.
"What? What did you say?"
He leaned in more towards the girl which made her smile grow wider.
"I heard a rumor that you shot your friend in the foot."
The man stared off into space before his eyes turned pure white. He turned his gun towards another man wearing a suit that had a similar mask as him.
His partner panicked as he watched him trying to convince him not to shoot but it was too late. The man screamed out in agony causing everyone around him to panic including the people outside of the building.
During the commotion, Luther scrambles across the roof of the building before breaking through it, he slams one of the men against the table before throwing him out of the window. The police looked confused and pointed their guns to the window.
Diego ran from wherever he was hiding before throwing two knives into the shoulder of another goon.
"Guns are for sissies, Real men throw knives."
The man that was near Allison climbs up on the desk, his gun now pointed directly towards the children and he kept backing up trying to put a lot of space between him and them.
"Stay away freaks."
Diego pouts at him playfully.
"Hey, be careful up there, buddy."
"Get back now!"
Allison grins at him.
"Wouldn't want you to get hurt."
"Or what?"
The man turns towards the sound of another voice to find Five smiling up at him cockily. He pulls the trigger shooting at the boy but he disappears. He hears a whoosh sound behind him turning to find the same boy but this time he was glaring at him.
He goes to shoot him again but this time his gun was replaced by a stapler however that didn't stop him from pressing on it multiple times in desperation. Five grins at the man, amused.
"That's one badass stapler."
Five grabbed the man's hand that was holding the stapler and used it to knock him out. He hops down joining the rest of his siblings. They all faced the door where they were told more people were. The crowd looked at them in shock, tape still around their hands and mouths.
"Do we have to do this?"
Klaus and Five pat their brother's back before Luther pushes his towards the door giving him a stern look.
"Come on, Ben. There's more guys in the vault."
Ben sighs before walking inside.
"I didn't sign up for this."
The hostages all run out of the building scared for their lives leaving the kids to watch as blood splattered onto the door and windows. Moments later their brother comes out shivering and covered in blood.
"Can we go home now?"
The kids walk outside the building, watching as the police start to put their guns away and the cameras start to focus on them. Diego, Luther, and Allison smiled proudly at the cameras while Klaus and Five do too, Ben stares at his feet shyly.
"Why can't I go play with the others?"
Vanya looks at her dad with questioning eyes. He only looks at her annoyed which causes her to look away from him.
"We've been through this before, Number 7. I'm afraid there's just nothing special about you."
Vanya looks down at her siblings sadly, watching them wave at the people in front of them. She didn't notice A woman watching her back. Reginald leaves Vanya up on the roof by herself making his way over to the others.
"Our world is changing. Has changed. There are some among us gifted with abilities far beyond the ordinary. I have adopted six such children. I give you the inaugural class of the Umbrella Academy."
The children all grin at each other and the audience. The woman moved her attention from Vanya towards the children in front of her. The people around her got rowdy, all trying to be heard.
"Mister Hargreeves! Mister Hargreeves. Channel 9 News. What happened to their parents?"
"They were suitably compensated."
"Are you concerned about the welfare of the children?"
The kids all look towards their father, wanting to hear his answer.
"Of course, as I am for the fate of the world."
-
The woman looks around making sure no one was following her before stepping into the water. She walks deeper and deeper before completely emerging herself into the water.
Her legs started to fuse together before turning into a beautiful coral blue. She dove deeper into the water, gliding against different types of fish until she reached a golden castle.
She swam towards her room before lying on a mattress someone brought that she took from a shipwreck.
She sighed trying to make herself comfortable and closed her eyes. She opened them again when she felt the presence of another beside her.
"How was your trip to the human world, my love?"
The woman stared into the eyes of her husband.
"It was fine. Though I saw the weirdest thing today."
The merman looked at her with interest which she chuckled about.
"Apparently the humans have gotten themselves a group of supernaturals."
"Really?"
The mermaid sighs, looking towards the ceiling.
"Unfortunately, they're under Hargreeves care."
Her husband's eyes widened at the statement she made. While the two are not anywhere near close to being friends with Hargreeves, they have worked with the man before.
"I hate to think of the paths those children would go down under his care."
She looked back at her husband with a deep frown on her face.
"There was another kid that he had left on the roof, almost like he didn't want her around the others."
She laid her hands down on her stomach and started to rub it softly.
"Promise me, that if we have a second child. We won't make one feel better than the other."

You look around the room, staring blankly at the walls. You were bored out of your mind. You knew this was your punishment for trying to leave without completing your mission and you knew it could be much worse with the way they handle things here, you were surprised you got off this easy.
Though the cuffs around your hands were starting to make your wrist hurt. No one has been in since the handler earlier that day and the quiet was starting to get to you. They knew the best way to break you was to isolate you from the people you loved, it was something Five picked up on when he met you and something the Temps picked up on when they would lock you up for days to see how long you'd last. It was like a game to them however they did stop after Five threatened to kill them after finding out about it.
You sighed to yourself until you heard Five calling for you from inside your head. It scared you a bit and you were going to visit him until you heard the sound of footsteps from further down the hall. It was one of the different mermaid powers you unlocked. When you were younger, you always wondered how your mom could talk to the whales back at home, she said it was a gift that mermaids got when they were older, she explained how they communicated with sound and part of you didn't understand until one day when you were on a kill mission with Five and suddenly everything was louder than normal.
You heard the sound of footsteps getting louder and louder as the person got closer. The door to the room opened to reveal Herb with a tray of food in his hand.
"Oh, the Handler decide she's too good to see me now? I'm hurt."
You send him a playful smile to show you were kidding, you always like Herb. He was a nice guy, always kind to everyone and helpful. You did wonder how a guy like him could end up working for the Temps.
Herb smiles back at you placing the tray at your feet.
"Too bad, you get me instead."
Your smile grew until you looked at the tray below you which caused him to get worried.
"What's wrong? Do you not like it? I picked it myself."
"It's not that."
You gesture to your cuffed hands.
"I can't very much eat with my hands immobile."
Herb sighs before playing with his hands.
"I'd love to let you down but the Handler said if I did, she'd doc my pay again."
Herb then taps his chin.
"But she's sending some guards in later, like two or three of them."
He looked into your eyes and you instantly knew what he was hinting at. You wouldn't get him in trouble if there were other people down here instead. You smirk at the thought.
"Could you at least feed me then?"
Herb nodded his head with a smile reaching down to grab the food.

Klaus stood at the bar staring down at the framed photo and ashes of his adopted father with a pout on his face.
"Listen up old man. You know, if I was murdered, and one of my sons--"
He stops himself.
"Adopted sons-- happen to be able to commune with the dead, I might think about, I don't know, I don't know... manifesting!!"
He was laughing about it but the better part of him was annoyed with the thought of having to manifest the man that tortured him most of his life. He wasn't too keen on having him around him but if it'll get Luther off his back, why not.
Klaus starts to move his hands around upset with the fact that he couldn't conjure him. He stares down at the photo, anger and frustration growing more and more.
He sighs and tries to patiently wait for something-- anything to happen but nothing does.
He tries to clear his mind, still nothing and that made him more upset.
"You always were a stubborn bastard!"
He points an accusatory finger at the picture in front of him.
"I don't know about you, but I need a drink."
Klaus goes to grab some alcohol but ends up knocking over his father's ashes instead.
In the other rooms in the house everyone just sits in silence waiting for the funeral to start. The family never felt more like strangers than they did in that very moment.
-
The family now stood outside in the pouring rain holding umbrellas in their hands. Five gave Ben's statue a somber look. He had wondered if he had been there would Ben had still suffered the same fate.
Grace looked at her children with a confused smile on her face.
"Did something happen?"
They all looked at her concerned.
"Dad died. Remember?"
"Oh, yes. Of course."
Most robots wouldn't feel anything but Grace felt an odd sense of embarrassment, sadness, and a small sense of relief.
"Is mom okay?"
Allison looked at Diego.
"Yeah, yeah, she's fine."
He turned to look at Grace, his gaze softening.
"She just needs to rest. You know, recharge."
Pogo walks up finally meeting up with the others before asking Luther to proceed. Luther walks up opening the top of the container which held the ashes of his father, he pours it on the ground but not much comes out. Klaus cringes knowing he was the reason it happened.
"Probably would have been better with some wind."
"Does anyone wish to speak?"
No one steps up, they all look at the other instead. Considering no one had any good memories of him. Grace stepped up facing her children.
"He wasn't the best father.. and an even worse husband.."
Diego nodded along with his mother's words.
"But if he was guilty of anything-- it was caring for the world so much that he sacrificed his personal relationships.."
Diego frowned deeply at her statement.
"Unfortunately, he never asked us how we felt about that. But that doesn't make his death in vain. we must--"
"Stop. Stop."
Diego walks up to Grace, touching her shoulder.
"Mom, You don't have to defend him. He's gone now."
"Diego."
"He was a monster."
Klaus laughs.
"He was a bad person and a worse father. The world's better off without him."
Luther glares at him and Allison tries to get him to be quiet again.
"Diego!"
"My name is Number two."
He looks at her which makes her look away from him.
"You know why? Because our father couldn't be bothered to give us names."
He gestures to Grace.
"He had mom do it."
Grace tries to discuss the situation.
"Would anyone like something to eat?"
"No, it's okay mom."
"Oh, Okay."
Everyone looks down, contemplating Diego's words. Klaus and Vanya were in agreement, Five was indifferent, Allison was sad, and Luther felt torn.
"Look, you wanna pay your respects?"
Diego turns to look at each and every one of his siblings.
"Go ahead. But at least be honest about the kind of man he was..."
"You should stop talking now."
Diego turns to Luther annoyed.
"You know, you of all people should be on my side here, Number One."
"I'm warning you."
Klaus bites at his nails feeling stressed and Five just looks away from the scene already expecting a fight to break out before making eye contact with Klaus.
"He had to ship you a million miles away."
"Diego, stop talking."
Luther got upset. He didn't want to believe Diego's words.
"That's how much he couldn't stand the sight of you!"
Diego stabs his finger into Luther's chest which makes him retaliate by pushing it off and swinging a punch however he misses as Diego dives under his arm. He swings another but ends up missing again. Allison watches with a disappointed look in her eyes, Vanya pulls Grace back not wanting her to get hurt, Pogo tries to stop them, and Klaus puts a protective arm in front of Five which earns him a glare and a smack on his arm.
The two continue to go at it getting closer and closer to Ben's statue. Vanya begs for the boys to stop as Klaus eggs it on. Diego uses technique on Luther which throws him off guard as he felt he was stronger. Luther tries hard to use his physical strength against him but Diego kept slipping away.
"I don't have time for this."
Five shakes his head before heading inside.
Diego stand in front of Ben's statue, taunting Luther and as Luther throws a punch, Diego moves out of the way causing him to punch Ben's statue, breaking it.
The rest of the remaining siblings stare at the statue upset about what they did. Allison rolls her eyes at the two before following Five's lead and heading inside. Diego pulls out a knife throwing it towards Luther and slicing his arm much to the dismay of Vanya.
Luther walks inside the house taking this as a personal loss. Vanya walks up to Diego disappointed.
"You never know when to stop, do you?"
"You got enough material for your sequel yet?"
The two stare down each other before Vanya walks away.
"He was my father too."
Diego walks over to Grace before leading her inside with the others. Klaus watches everything with a cigarette in his mouth, stressed about the whole situation. After everyone leaves he walks up the pile of ashes on the ground.
"I bet you're loving this. Hmm? The team at its best. It's just like old times."
He takes another drag before placing his cigarette on the ashes.
"Best funeral ever."
🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧
You looked up when you heard footsteps coming in your direction again. The door opened to reveal to people both in the Temps uniform without their masks. One was a woman she was a few years younger than you, she had light blue eyes and blonde hair dyed orange at the bottom to match the suit she wore, she did not look happy to be there, on the other hand the man beside her had the opposite reaction especially when seeing your face. He was the spitting image of the girl except his hair was dyed brown.
"Arin, Johnny, long time no see."
You smile at the two getting a big one in return from Johnny.
"Hey Y/n, Looks like you've gotten yourself into trouble since lunch yesterday."
You shrug as he laughed though Arin didn't find it very funny.
"How's it hanging?"
"Not great. Can you believe how boring it is?"
"Ugh, I bet. I once was on stakeout by myself, worst five hours of my life..."
You nod along knowing the feeling.
"Speaking of Five, how's he doing?"
You shrug again.
"Who knows."
"It must suck to be away from him."
You sigh, leaning your head back against the wall.
"You have no idea."
"Hey, Hey, Hey!!"
Arin claps her hands together getting both of your attention.
"Stop this."
"Stop what?"
"This."
Johnny rolls his eyes at his sister before gesturing to you.
"She's our friend. I'm just having a conversation."
"She's a prisoner. We don't Kiki with prisoners."
Your smile instantly drops.
"Really, Arin."
"Shut up. You and Five did this to yourselves. I mean really trying to leave the commission are you serious?"
You scoff sending the girl a glare.
"Arin."
"You're lucky that this is the punishment they gave you. Honestly could you and Five had been any stupider."
Johnny tries to calm her down but she just turns and jabs a finger into his chest.
"Johnny, our jobs are on the line here. We don't have time to play 'friendly', You get me?"
She leaves the room for a bit, Johnny whispers a small apology before she comes back throwing a plate to the bottom of your feet causing some of the food on it to fly off the plate. She sends a fake smile before pulling her brother out of the room with a slam of the door.
You ball hands into fist.
⌛⌛⌛⌛⌛⌛⌛⌛⌛⌛⌛⌛⌛⌛
Five sat on the stairs, leaning his head against his hand. He had been trying to get you to come but you hadn't shown up since earlier. He watched as each one of his siblings passed, each one more upset than the last. It was a pretty shitty funeral.
He sat there to himself for a few more minutes until Vanya came down throwing on her jacket and heading to the door.
"Where are you going?"
Vanya stopped with her hand grazing the door knob, she was still getting used to finally being around again. She hesitates before turning to face him with a shrug.
"I'm headed to a meeting. I'm already late so I'm hoping to catch up with them before it's too late."
Five just nods his head and the two just stare at each other in silence. Vanya figured he wouldn't say anything else turns towards the door again but Pogo came and stopped her again.
"Don't waste your time. Diego's right, I shouldn't have come."
"This is your home and always will be."
Pogo walks up to Vanya.
"Should I get you a taxi?"
"I already called one. But thanks."
Five smiles at the interaction between the two. Pogo has always been more of a father figure to them than Reginald was, Hargreeves was more of a teacher.
"I hope you know that your father loved you very much. In his own way."
"Yeah well that's kind of the problem. isn't it?"
Five chuckles in agreement, raising a hand slightly as a goodbye. Five watches Pogo walk up to the door to check on Vanya before he gets up and walks to the kitchen in search of caffeine. Unfortunately for him there was none. Klaus somehow found his way into the kitchen getting not much attention from Five. Allison later joins them.
"Where's Vanya?"
"She's gone."
Klaus holds on to a guitar, kicking his feet up.
"That's unfortunate. An entire square block. Forty-two bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, but no, not a single drop of coffee."
Five was annoyed to say the least, he hadn't heard from you since you talked earlier and now the sky was darkening. He was worried something might've happened to you and he had no way of knowing, no way to get to you. Now there wasn't any coffee to help him calm his nerves.
He couldn't talk to his siblings about it, no way would they understand. They don't even have their lives together. Not to mention the world was about to end.
"I'm taking the car."
Five moved to walk out of the kitchen. He wanted, no he needed coffee. Something to make him feel like he had some semblance of his life together.
"Where are you going?"
Five looked at Klaus like he just asked him the dumbest question in man kind.
"To get a decent cup of coffee."
Allison looked at him skeptically.
"Do you even know how to drive?"
She thought her question was valid, if the world was going to end, according to Five, there would technically be no need for them.
Five however just glared at the girl.
"I know how to do everything."
Five teleports away from them and into the car. He realizes he doesn't have the key and hops into the house for a second before jumping back, starting the car and pulling off.
He pulled into a stop in front of a place called Griddy's, somewhere he, Ben, Klaus, Allison and Vanya would sneak off to when everyone else was asleep.
He walked into the building not seeing anyone there so he approached the counter before pressing the bell. Another man walks in sitting next to him. The waitress comes from the back apologizing to the two men before taking their orders.
Five talked to the man for a bit, they talked about early memories before the waitress came back with their orders. The man offered to pay for Five much to his relief because he forgot to grab any money on his search for his caffeine. The man had given Five an address that he asked after awhile before leaving the building.
Five was now left alone again as the Waitress went back to where she came from. He was now deep in thought, worried about your safety. He knew how the Handler could be and for some reason she didn't particularly like you. Most would say that she was jealous of you; you were likeable and kind hearted, She however was not. But Five knew better, the Handler had some type of infatuation for Five and that didn't go unnoticed by him and because of that his relationship with you, platonic or not; angered her greatly.
After a while a group of agents walked into the building. Five recognized the orange, yellow and black costumes from anywhere. They found him.
"That was fast. I thought I'd have more time before they found me."
All of them instantly pulled their guns to his head but he didn't show any fear.
"On your feet, come with us. They wanna talk."
"I've got nothing to say."
"You think I wanna shoot someone today? Go home with that on my conscience?"
Five smirks while picking up the knife beside his cup. This was a new agent, Five had seen him around the commission. He was good at his job, Five was better.
"I wouldn't worry about that. You won't be going home."
Five quickly teleports behind the man, stabbing him in his neck causing him to shoot his gun in shock before falling to the ground dead.
The other agents try to look for him as the lights start to blink from getting hit with the bullet. Five watches them look around in confusion from under the table before he teleports onto another one laying down.
"Hey, assholes!"
All of them quickly turned to the voice pulling their triggers but it was too late, he had already gone. All they succeeded in doing was shooting the lights out in the signs that were around the building.
Five smirks at them from outside of the building. You would have chastised him about making this longer than it had to be, you didn't like killing people. Sure you could have had any other job in the commission but the thought of Five being out there risking his life scared you, so you stuck it out. Though you'd rather do a fast and easy kill than drag it out. Five on the other hand could care less about torturing these agents, they took you away from him. They had to pay.
🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧
You tap your fingers against the medal around your hands. Your eyes shift to the door in anticipation. You start to hum the tune of come little children as soon as the door opens. Arin locks eyes with you as you continue your song, her eyes start to turn silver, you smirk as she walked closer to you while pulling out her keys.
You smile as you land on your feet, softly rubbing the bruise that formed around your wrist. You were happy that Herb and Johnny weren't the ones down here at the moment otherwise you'd feel bad.
"Thanks Arin, You're a doll."
She smiles as you softly pat her shoulders and You send her a guilty smile.
"I'm so sorry about this, buddy."
You punch the girl super hard, knocking her out as soon as her head hits the ground.
"No hard feelings..."
You smiled down at the body before slipping out of the door and heading towards the direction of the suitcases.
Though as soon as you turn the corner you bump into Johnny causing him to fall on his ass. He looks up at you in shock before sending you a big smile.
"No way, Arin changed her mind and let you out?"
You grimaced at him.
"Not exactly..."
His eyebrow raised in question. You were weary about how he'd react, the twins were super protective of each other, hurting one was like hurting the other and neither would let it go.
"What do you mean?"
You couldn't really hide the fact that you knocked his sister out because he would find her body if he walked into the room.
"I knocked her out."
"What?!"
You started stumbling trying to think of something to say so that he wouldn't be upset but there was nothing you could say.
"I'm sorry but I can't stay here any longer."
Johnny stands up from the ground dusting himself off while sending you a glare.
"I have to get to Five and help him save the world and unfortunately Arin was in the way of that. I will fight anyone I have to, If it means I can help him."
Johnny's face softened and he shakes his head with a small chuckle.
"You really care about that man, don't you?"
You nod at him.
"Fine. I'll help get you out of here."
"Really?!"
He smiles at you and you quickly pull him into a hug.
"Thank you!!"
The two of you break away from each other and make your way down the hall looking for the suitcase room in the dark corridor. Once you make your way there you find two different guards outside the room with three inside.
"Ugh. I thought they'd be patrolling around right now."
"Don't tell me you're not up for a challenge, Johnny."
Johnny sighs.
"Not tonight."
You smile at him.
"I got a plan."
-
Johnny walks up to the two agents that were guarding the door with a smile on his face.
"Hey, Guys."
"Hey."
"Hi, Johnny."
Johnny's smile falters.
"The Handler is asking for everyone to meet up in the training room."
The two looked at each other in confusion before turning to Johnny.
"Apparently Y/n has escaped so The Handler needs all hands on deck."
"What about the suitcases?"
Johnny looks at them sternly.
"She says this is more important."
"Right. Lets go."
"Yeah."
"Go on ahead you two, I'll let the others know."
The two nod before heading in a different direction once Johnny is sure they are completely gone, he sends you a thumbs up before walking in the room.
The other three agents turn towards him with their guns pointed but instantly point them down when they see it's just him.
"Oh, John. Sorry, We thought you might be someone else."
"Like who?"
One of the agents shrug.
"I don't know, Y/n is a sneaky little minx. We thought maybe she escaped or something."
Johnny starts to chuckle nervously.
"No way. I was in the room they're keeping her in earlier, she's bound tight. No way she's getting out of there."
"Right, obviously they wouldn't let that sneaky little siren just roam in a cell somewhere."
One of the other guards butt in.
"You guys hear something?"
Johnny and the agent look at him.
"No."
"No."
"Weird, I hear someone humming."
Johnny knew what he was talking about, You were using your song on the agent. Johnny was currently wearing his headphones, something he received after The Temps found out you had the power to control people with your voice, of course not every agent received a pair, only the ones that worked with you which is why he and the other two agents couldn't hear you at the moment.
The other agent however had his eyes change into a silver color which quickly alarmed the other two however it was two late as he quickly shot one of his teammates in the leg. The agent on the ground screamed in pain of the shot before firing one of their own.
Johnny quickly backed out of the room before you slipped in and knocked the agent whom he was talking to into the wall, knocking him out as the agent you sirened shot the other in the head.
You let out a shaky breath, watching the blood drip from the agent's head causing you to close your eyes before turning to the sirened agent.
"Alright get out of here."
The agent nodded before leaving the room and heading in the direction of the two.
You quickly grab a suitcase before turning to Johnny; who had come back into the room. You pull him into a tight hug and your eyes filled with worry.
"Be careful out there. The world is a dangerous place as you know."
"I'll miss you."
"And I will miss you."
Tears started to fill your eyes and you were starting to regret letting Johnny help you.
"It'll be okay."
You pull away from him, looking deep into his eyes as he sends you a smile.
"It'll be okay. Now go."
You nod before holding onto the suitcase and disappearing in a flash of a light.
-
"You've got to be kidding me."
Arin frowns looking down at the floor finding herself unable to make eye contact with the handler.
"You had one job. Not to let her escape and what did you do?"
"We let her escape."
"You let her escape."
Arin backs away as the Handler advances towards.
"Actually. It was my fault."
Arin's eyebrows pinched in confusion as she turned to find her brother at the door.
"I let her out."
Arin shakes her head at him, her eyes were telling him to shut up though he didn't listen.
"I don't know why I did it, It was just hard watching my friend being held captive."
"Johnny, stop."
"Arin, had nothing to do with it."
The handler walked up to him with a glare on her face.
"How do you explain the fact that we found her knocked out on the ground."
Johnny makes eye contact with his sister. He had hoped this would get his sister out of trouble.
"I knocked her out, she was adamant about keeping Y/n locked up so, I helped her escape."
"You weren't in the camera footage."
"I snuck in and deleted it in hopes that I wouldn't get caught."
The Handler looks him up and down. Her eyes showed suspension.
"And yet you're giving yourself up now. Why is that?"
Johnny looks down at the ground as the handler continues to stare intensely at him.
"I can't let my sister take the fall for what I did."
The handler turns her attention towards Arin motioning to Johnny.
"Is this true?"
Johnny nods at his sister wanting her to let him take the fall. Arin looks down again, her jaw tightening.
"Yes."
"Arin, leave the room."
Arin hesitates but heads towards the door when her brother smiles at her, she grabs his hand on the way out and he gives it a squeeze before she walks out the door, closing it behind her.
Tears started to stream down her face at the sound of a gun shot ringing through the halls.

You Left Me
Summary:
A house needed a foundation to build on and so did their pack but by the time Stiles got the pack to listen, they all blamed him. He didn’t understand why but during one pack meeting they pointed out how all of their problems somehow connected to Stiles. Stiles panicked because in truth he was the one who saved them time and time again. So how was he at fault?
AO3 Link
Stiles didn’t know where he was going as he ran through the forest. All he knew was he couldn’t go back. Home wasn’t home anymore as evidenced by the way his friends couldn’t stand to look at him. He thought he could stay and ignore how they avoided him, but he gave up after a week. The final straw, the reason behind him running through the forest, was a fight with Scott. He felt tears stream down his cheeks as he thought back on the conversation they had less than an hour ago.
✠ 🐾 ✠
“I don’t know what more you want from me Scott!” he shouted.
“I don't want anything from you. I don’t want you around,” Scott shouted back.
Stiles froze and his eyes narrowed. “Seriously? I haven’t done anything wrong. I defended myself. You know that, and I’ve already resigned myself to being ignored by all of you. I don’t know what else you want me to do.”
“You can leave. You can stop filling the halls with the scent of sadness and hurt. You brought this on yourself. You’re not allowed to walk the halls trying to make us feel bad for wanting nothing to do with you. This is all your fault. You can’t blame us for defending ourselves from you. I mean we know what happened to Allison and then Donovan. Who’s to say Lydia’s not next? Or Isaac? Or Danny? Or Jackson? It’s like the Nogitsune never left!” Scott yelled with a growl.
“Allison wasn’t my fault, Scott. That was all him. I fought—”
Scott snarled. “Don’t lie, Stiles. You killed her and you loved it. Stop using him as an excuse for how fucked up you are! Leave! If I see you again after tonight, I will kill you,” he spat.
Stiles felt his heart shatter. When he looked up again and saw that Scott was serious, he turned and ran.
✠ 🐾 ✠
The blood pounding in his ears snapped him back to the present. His shirt was soaked through from the downpour. It was late into the night and he didn’t know where to go or what to do. Why should he keep going? His dad intercepted a robber while he was off duty one night and was killed. His dad was dead and he had nothing and no one left.
Beacon Hills had been Stiles’s only home since he was born. It was eighteen, almost nineteen, years later and that was still the case. Through all the clashes with various supernatural beings over the years their small pack stayed strong but it was also fractured. Stiles did his best to mend the cracks in the foundation but it was almost impossible when they didn’t have one to begin with.
Everyone had ignored him for some fault they found in him. Stiles knew their reasons were meritless, but it hurt so bad. He stopped caring. When he tripped on a root and crashed to the ground he didn’t bother even getting up. He just laid on the ground letting the tears stream down his face. He was so tired. He was tired of being alone, ignored, blamed, and a part of him was tired of living. It was a downhill slide from then on. Stiles closed his eyes, curled up into a ball on the forest floor and drifted off.
⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠂⠄⠄⠂
He woke with a start, his eyes wide as he tried to get his bearings. He wasn’t outside anymore and he looked down to see himself in dry clothes. He wondered how that happened as he looked around the space he found himself in. It seemed like a small cabin but he didn’t remember any cabins in the forest, and he would remember if there had been one because he’d grown up exploring every inch of it. He rubbed his eyes and blinked several times but the scenery didn’t change.
He looked at his hands and counted. 1, 2, 3…all the way up to 10 to prove to himself that he was indeed awake. He was cold and pulled the blanket closer around him. Wait! He looked at the blanket and then took a deep breath in through his nose. When the scent filled his nostrils it threw him into a pile of memories.
✠ 🐾 ✠
“Mischief!” a boy called out to him.
Stiles beamed and hurried over. “Hi, Theodorable!” he said giggling.
✠ 🐾 ✠
“Mischief? Did you ask your mom?”
Stiles nodded and held up a sleeping bag. “She said we can sleep in the tree house!”
✠ 🐾 ✠
“Happy Birthday dear Mischiefffffff! Happy Birthday to you!” Theo laughed and handed Stiles his gift.
Stiles gasped and squealed. “How’d you get his autograph?!” He threw himself at Theo and beamed.
✠ 🐾 ✠
“Don’t worry, Theo! I brought all your favorites. Movie night is on!” Stiles cheered
Theo curled up under the blanket. “You’re the best, Mischief.”
✠ 🐾 ✠
“Hello?” Stiles said quietly as he entered the house. He looked around at the now empty building. His breath caught and he teared up. “No! Where’d you go?” he cried out before searching the entire house, finding no one and nothing. He went outside and collapsed on the porch steps sniffling. “Theo.”
✠ 🐾 ✠
Stiles’s eyes snapped open and he looked around again. “Theo?” he whispered.
“Hey, Mischief,” a voice to his right said quietly.
Stiles whipped his head in the direction of the voice and came face to face with a guy his age. He was gorgeous and Stiles blushed lightly taking in the blonde hair, blue eyes, chiseled jawline (unlike Scott’s crooked one), and the smile. “H-Hi,” he replied quietly. He was struggling to hold back tears when he heard his childhood nickname spoken for the first time in years. Only his mother and Theo had been allowed to call him Mischief. Stiles didn’t realize how much he missed hearing that name.
Theo gestured to the couch. “May I sit?”
Stiles nodded and went to move his feet but Theo simply lifted them, sat down, and let them rest on his lap.
“You had me worried.” Stiles quirked an eyebrow and Theo continued. “I found you. Your lips were blue and when I touched you, you were so cold. I did my best to warm you up but I was scared I’d lost you,” he whispered and started rubbing small circles on Stiles‘s ankle with his thumb.
Stiles melted at the touch and looked down. “I’m sorry,” he said quietly. “I just had to leave. I guess if dying was truly my goal, I could’ve just stayed and let him kill me.”
Theo growled low at that but with a bemused look from Stiles, he cleared his throat. “Who?”
“Scott,” Stiles replied in barely a whisper.
Theo didn’t stop his growl this time. “He threatened you?”
Stiles nodded.
“Why?”
Stiles shook his head. “It doesn’t matter. Let’s just say I can’t go home anymore. Once I’m warmed up, I’ll get out of your hair too.”
Theo frowned and shook his head. “No. You’re not bothering me and I wouldn’t have brought you here if I wanted you to disappear.”
“But you disappearing is just fine?” Stiles asked, meeting Theo’s gaze.
“I—” Theo started but sighed. He swallowed thickly, struggling to speak with the lump of emotion lodged in his throat. “I didn’t want to leave. I was forced to. They threatened you. So, I left, but I kept an eye on you as best I could. Once I was old enough to deal with them myself, I did so.”
“Really?”
Theo nodded. “There was nothing that would ever stop me from coming back to you. I can back to you, came back for you, Bambi. I’m here.”
“Now you’re here?”
Theo nodded and met Stiles’s gaze with utmost sincerity. “I’m here.”
Stiles tilted his head, his fingers fidgeting with the edge of the blanket. “For how long?”
“As long as you want me here.”
So, forever?”
“Is that what you want?”
Stiles swallowed and nodded before averting his gaze. “Yeah,” he admitted in barely a whisper.
Theo moved closer, his hand sliding up to grip Stiles’s thigh, the touch grounding them both. “Then I’ll never leave you again.”
“Never?”
“Never ever.”
“Promise?” Stiles inquired, leaning closer, unaware he was doing so but not pulling back nonetheless.
Theo shook his head, stopping just short of kissing the amber eyed man. “I promise.”
Stiles closed the remaining distance between their lips and sighed into the kiss, finally finding what had been missing all these years and vowing to never let go of Theo, to never let go of his happiness, ever again.

Things that might potentially happen in the Teen wolf movie and scare the shit out of me:
(of course this is just my opinion)
1. Allison actually coming back as a real person: I mean... If she's a ghost, a vengeful spirit or if we see her in flashbacks that's cool, but if they revive her somehow I think that's bullshit.
2. The new girl being Kira's replacement: It's almost a fact that she's her replacement but if they make her 100% like Kira I think I might actually throw up.
3. Them making the new girl and Liam a couple (Related to the previous point): I am a big Thiam shipper and therefore this is one of the things that scare me the most. J. Davis recycled Allison and Scott's story with Liam and Hayden so... Also Dylan Sprayberry and the new actress have been suspiciously together but I really really hope I'm wrong.
If you're not gonna give us Thiam at least don't crush our spirits like that. Let Liam's love life ALONE please.
4. Them ignoring Theo's existence: This one is also related to the previous one. Theo was alive and was considered an ally to the pack. He had a redemption arc and was very important for the development of the last two seasons. Also... We have seen that they're going to somehow mention the Dread Doctors (based ok Khylin Rambo's Ig Stories) and Theo was essential for that storyline so if they ignore his existence or just blatantly kill him out of screen I'm gonna riot.
I don't think Jeff imagined how popular Theo Raeken would become. If you want proof go to Teen wolf's Twitter account and see how many people mentioned Theo when they knew about the movie.
5. The possibility that Eli Hale is Stiles replacement: Listen... NO ONE will ever be capable of replacing someone as iconic as Stiles. But I wouldn't be surprised if they try to somehow replicate his personality making Eli Hale a Stiles 2.0 instead of giving him his own personality.
6. Making Kate Argent Eli's mom: Teen wolf's timelines have ALWAYS been messy. But I'm still trying to figure out how Derek Hale has a 15 year old son. Derek would be in his 30's in this movie but for him to have a 15 year old son he would have to have him incredibly young. And we know what a fucking creep Kate Argent was.
I was hoping he would be his and Braeden's child but I obviously don't think that's the case given Eli's physical appearance.
7. Breaking up Stydia: I was watching The teen wolf wiki guy's video and the dude (he's a weirdo by the way but sometimes he brings useful info) and he said that we shouldn't expect to see "teenage relationships" lasting and that ships are not even important in a supernatural/fantasy series. I couldn't disagree more. Teen wolf's writing was messy most of the time and many of us stayed for the characters and their relationships. So why building something so loved by the fandom (or at least many people in the fandom) like Stydia and then destroy it out of camera? People are already pissed that they were cowards who didn't dare to give us Thiam endgame so... If they erase Stydia... Well they might as well sleep with an eye open.
10. Makings Lydia and Jackson super close: I know that people started to like Jackson in S6 but to me... He never actually did something that actually gave him a redemption. And it honestly boils my blood that they acted as if he never was abusive towards Lydia. Listen Jeff... MAKING SOMEONE GAY DOESN'T AUTOMATICALLY MAKE HIM A GOOD PERSON.
11. Them pairing Mason and Jackson: Okay hear me out. I know this is probably a stretch but J. Davis has made the weirdest relationships before and since Aiden and Corey are nowhere to be seen, I wouldn't be surprised if they pair Mason with Jackson just because they're both LGBT.
I don't know dude... I hope I'm wrong.
Ps: English is not my first language so I apologize if my grammar sounds off.

Thoughts of Teen Wolf the Movie while watching it pt.3
Coach!😃
Derek still sneaking around corners and just randomly appearing 😂 "🎶I always feel like somebody's watching me🎶"
Feel like Derek could scare Eli himself...give him that s1 Derek stare "I'm not afraid of you" 😠 "okay maybe I am afraid of you"
Eli is so me, clumsy af😭
Derek "😠" Hale
Malia! you can't just cut people open🤦‍♀️
Make the plan. Execute the plan. Expect the plan to go wrong...throw away the plan
Man Allison pulled a Derek 🏃‍♀️💨
Allison's tweaking dudes
Why the hospital lockers look like the ones at high school? Would've been coll if that was one of Nogi's illusions to manipulate her
She's very confused and is supposed to be very dead
Split up!?! One of the biggest rules in horror movies is to never split up
Cause a ball cap is such a good disguise 🧢👍
I got her 👊💥🤛💥🤜💥 I don't got her
"Fuck me man" me whenever my alarm wakes me up for school😭
Allison is karate kid 👍
"Scott Who?" ...oop
"Where's the alpha, I have to find the alpha." "What do you want with Derek Hale?" "No, not Hale. McCall. Scott McCall." Vibes. Oh no, now Braedon flashbacks for me😢
Where is Braedon?! She's supposed to be Eli's badass step-mama
Damn to be honest, I wouldn't have taken that. Woulda thrown them scissors back at that zombie bitch ✂️🧟‍♀️
Poor Argent, imagine the pain of seeing your daughter again after 11 years of her being dead and she runs away
Move, bitch! We know she's back, now let us go catch her🙄
But...isn't it your job to hear about the crimes...sheriff?
oh never mind😂
How didn't he know he was a kitsune? Wouldn't weird shit start happening to him like it did Kira? C'mon you can't tell me this man ain't never got his picture taken w/ the flash on before
Could've made him Hikari's family in some way to add some emotional depth for her and give her more ties to the pack
Or he could've been a host for Nogi like his dad I think? If his brother was that one dude wouldn't that make his dad the man who was possessed by Nogi during Chris's first gun deal?
"I don't want to kill you" oh really?👀
🎶I wish that I could wake up with amnesia🎶
So the hunter thingy place is still here but Monroe's peeps are gone🤨
"who are you🏹" "a friend👹" yea okay Pennywise🤚
Nogitsune: "time to hunt" Pennywise:"time to float" I rest my case
No i would not trust my mother who's a psychotic bitch, especially when she looking at me like I just took the last shrimp fried egg roll that she wanted to save for later😑
bitch so was you 30 minutes ago ⚰
Hey don't talk about my smexy dilf werewolf man Derek like that
Oop, that light was a paid actor
Omg I love Jackson 😂 I never thought I'd say that😶
hahaha Derek holding Eli like a baby
"Yes you did, I saw it🥺"
Man Derek such a good dad, got me all up I my feels
I wonder how Talia was as a parent, especially with Derek since he had such trouble learning control 🤔
Man, Allison honestly fuck you. You had to ruin a good father-son moment by trying to take off Eli's head smh I could never. Stay unproblematic people💅
Not the Chinese ring daggers
Honestly flashbacks to the supply closet when Allison told Isaac that. Hey, wait a minute...no one thought to tell Isaac that his late girlfriend is back (bc they were still together when she died)
"Allison?" No bitch it's Katniss🙄
Hey foul play! You shot my man's while his back was turned!! Now you turn around allison, it's my turn! Imma pull a Peter...Peter where u at, she attacking your fav nephew, Kate her ass
Yayy Liam
dude Hikari that was fire 🔥 (no pun intended 🤣; I'm so sorry guys)
Awww he don't even care if he's hurting himself worse, he just cares about his son🥺
Shut up, Scott! Let the man talk!
Damn Scott, couldn't even take my man's pain?
Everyone but Stiles, Isaac, Theo, Kira, Cora, Corey, Hayden, and Braeden... *clears my throat and looks directly at the camera*
The oni really said, "Suprise shawty!"
I knew I should've retired 🤣🤣
Awww first thing he said was his son's name
if this was a short series we totally should've got a scene of Eli, similar to the scene where Scott Howard first transforms in the og teen wolf movie, and then he just passes out. It would've been so funny😭
I'm sorry but the song that popped in my head when that oni floated down was 🎶I'm spinning like a ballerina🎶
Why's mason's gun sound like its popping popcorn
Sheriff Stilinski said, I can be a ninja toooo
Peter's entrance is iconic and so him, such a western-soap opra villain😂
Deaton and Chris:🧍‍♂️🧍‍♂️
oh c'mon Peter, I thought we were past the whole throat slashing thing😬
How does Peter always know everything 🤔
Also I want to see Eli and Peter bonding, feel like they should have a relationship ay peast similar to when Derek and Peter were younger (hell I just want to see young Derek and Peter again, give me a Hale prequel)
Peter: "Is it me? Am I the drama?"
Ofc they have a plan Scott 🙄 not everyone just makes it up as they go and pretends that hunters aren't dangerous (that's always pissed me off about Scott, not everyone is redeemable)
Allison Argent that is a child
There's gonna be an explosion
There was an explosion
Jackson worried about his tail, please bye💀🤚
Would've been better if it was actually an illusion and not really Allison
You better hobble a little faster Eli
Oh, you can't hobbled fast but ur ass can climb
Me personally, I woulda stayed in that car
"Allison stop" bc that'll work🙄
Damn Scott pulled a Satomi, nice. Why he look confused though, you forget you have supernatural reflexes my guy?🤨
lmao not him trying negotiate as she shoots arrows at them
oh but what if I'm not a werewolf? Really Eli HALE?!
Pretty eyes though 😁
Run, Forest, run
"She's tryna get an arrow through you" Omg Eli is meee like fr Scott listen to the kid
"You faint at the sight of blood?!" "No, but I might at the sight of a chopped of arm!"
You think?!
Scott flashbacks, Eli's future partner is in that car "omg we almost hit someone" jk it's Sheriff Stilinski
Peter has a right to be filled with such anger, legit family was burned alove infront of him and was in a coma for 6 years, I would've been forever angry too bc that's not just something you get over
"Allison stOoOoOp" bc that worked so well last time
also backtrack to Chris saying that Allison wouldn't kill a 15 year old, what about Boyd and Erica? Legit grl went psycho in season 2 and I don't want to here and "Well Gerard..." She still did it
"sure lets talk" 🗡🗡🏃‍♀️💨 we have very different definitions of talking
Eli and Derek are the best part of this movie🥺
Hikari said, "I got one of those too mfs"🗡
Flashbacks to when Hayden got taken by the ghost riders 😭
Meanwhile in the Hale house:
Pt. 3- 5

So I finally sat down and watched the Teen Wolf movie, but it's been out long enough that I feel like it's okay to talk about, but just in case... 🚫*spoilers ahead*🚫
WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK WAS THIS?!?!
1st complaint: literally every single romantic relationship for Malia has felt incredibly forced, even in the show, but none more than whatever the hell she and Parrish had! I might except some arguments for Stalia, but I always knew Stydia would be endgame...
Speaking of Stydia... let's talk about my 2nd complaint which is that trash throw away ✨️reason for Lydia leaving Stiles✨️ "idea" are you- are you really telling me, the girl that was able to convince a whole group of people and HIS FATHER that Stiles even existed after everyone forgot him and was able to bring him back into existence would just... leave him after a DREAM?!?! She fought against everyone telling her she was crazy for remembering someone who supposedly never existed, but she wouldn't fight for a reason to stay with the love of her life??? Cause that's not the Lydia I remember! She was stubborn, brave, and most of all she believed in her ideas cause she knew how smart she was! This just seemed like the "must use woman's pain to further plot" trope. On top of having a reason for Stiles not to be there since Dylan couldn't be in the movie.
3rd complaint: did none of the relationships the show workout or something? Like... why did Scott AND Argent not want Melissa to know they were in town? Argent and Melissa were so cute! She helped him heal and move on, he actually liked and let her be the strong independent woman she always was. I don't particularly care that Allison came back, I wasn't crazy about how they handled it, but whatever. I think Allison would've been happy to see her dad happy again after how he was after her mom died and then eventually her... instead of lonely and grieving his life away.
But no, Melissa and Argent gone.
But also Stydia... gone.
Scalia... gone.
And from what little I gathered Ethan and Jackson are... something. But Jackson is apparently comfortable just being gone and lying to him about why.
Speaking of being gone... onto my 4th complaint! ALL OF PETER HALE'S CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT WAS JUST GONE!!! Like they had me in his first scene with the blow torch, that was just regular old sassy Peter, but then he was just all Gung-ho for killing Allison and right back to his revenge filled ways. He was so protective and ready to finally be a dad for Malia at the end of the show, granted he still had a long way to go, but he was finally fighting with the pack and mending his relationship with Derek. When Scott is monologuing at the end of the final episode he says "Now we have allies who used to be enemies. We have protectors." And it cuts to a clip OF PETER FREAKING HALE!!!!! Like I wasn't expecting perfection, Peter was always a bit of a d*ck, but for all of his progress to just be gone was heartbreaking. Only redeeming part was the cigar and blowtorch bit because it had so much Doc Ock 2004 vibes.
And finally Derek... I just- I can't... I know it's cliche and cringey to say, but this movie is not canon for me. Because if it was, that means I would have to admit all the garbage I just watched was real. And I will not accept that. Most of all Derek's fate... Just no.
Anyway... I could continue, but I would be going on forever with complaints. The way I see it is, I still love the show and I will still watch it. This movie doesn't exist and the characters are all still out there together living their best lives as they should be.
The End.

I wake up holding my head and look at my hand to see blood. I stumbled off of a bed and went to the door but it was locked. "Help!" I bang on the door.
"Allison!" I hear Dewey.
"DEWEY!" I scream for help. "I'm locked in here!" I yell, banging on the door. Once he gets it open I fall into his arms. "We gotta get help. He's here." I cry as we walk downstairs.
"I need to finish look-,"
I cut him off as he walked away from me, "Behind you!" I yell as he gets stabbed in the back.
The killer moves towards me and I try to run if it but he grabs me tossing me across the room and I hit my head again feeling lightheaded and dizzy. I push through the pain and get up going to the door and see Sidney pointing the gun at Randy and Stu as they beg her.
"Fuck you both." She tells them and I slam the door as she locks it.
"I don't wanna take the chance." I cry as they bang in the door.
"Go away!" She yells at them.
Suddenly we hear grunting and turn to see Billy fall down the stairs. "Billy." We both rush over to him.
"Are you okay?" I ask as Sidney says she thought he was dead.
We help him up and he gets Sidney to give him the gun as he opens the door. "Please help me!" Randy grabs him. "Stu's flipped out! He's gone mad!" Randy tells us and I see Billy change into a whole other person.
"We all go a little mad sometimes." He says raising the gun at Randy.
"No, Billy!" We yell as he shoots at Randy. "Randy." I cry trying to rush over at him but Billy grabs a hold of my arm. "Anthony Perkins, Psycho." Sidney stands up turning to us and I try to get my arm free. "Corn syrup, same stuff they used for pig's blood. In what, sugar?" Billy asks me and I break down crying. It was him all along. "Come on, say it. Let Sid know." He uses the gun to move hair out of my face.
"Carrie. Run, Sid." I try to get my arm free.
She turns to run but right into Stu and I had a feeling he was the killer too because he was too calm. "Surprise, Sidney." He uses the voice changer.
Billy carefully shoves me to Stu as he goes to cut off Sidney as she runs. Billy ended up banging her head against the wall making her pass out onto the floor so he kicked her too. "Hey, baby." Stu held me up since my legs were weak as I kept crying.
"Why?" I cry getting cornered by them.
"Multiple reasons baby." Stu walks closer and I can't back up anymore.
"I thought I said don't hurt her? You messed up the first time by cutting her neck a little." Billy gets onto Stu.
"She got in the way and was fighting back. I didn't mean to. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." Stu gives me a sad look.
"I thought we were friends." I cry to them.
"We are Allison. We aren't going to kill you. We could never kill you." Billy walks up to me touching my face.
"What do you want from me?" I turn my face away from him.
"You, don't get it? We want you." Stu laughs.
"And we know deep down you want us." Billy grabs my chin making me look at him.
"When you weren't psychotic!" I yell at him.
"Don't you remember? You told me Viggo Mortensen and Matthew McConaughey are very hot psychotics. Also most killers in movies are sexy to you. Now you have two real-life ones." Billy kisses me and I try to push him back.
I hated that even after finding out he was one of the killers, a part of me so deep down still had feelings for him. I shouldn't still have them after all of this and the same goes for Stu. "I hate you. I hate the both of you." I finally pushed him away.
"But you can't because you love us deep down. Even a drunk you in the past knew that." Stu smirks, confusing me.
"She doesn't remember, you idiot. She was fucked up drunk when it happened." Billy rolls his eyes.
"What?" I ask.
"We had sex when I was with Sidney. We did multiple times but you were always too drunk to remember. That's the only way we could because sober you would never go behind your friend's back. Except for the time I lied and said we're on a break. Also when my mom left. You were sober and knew I was with Sidney." Billy chuckles.
"So you still took advantage of me in a drunken state?" I cry.
"It's not taking advantage if you spill your feelings for the person and be the one to make the first move. You're very bold." Billy whispers in my ear.
"I still didn't know so yes you did. I thought I could trust you." I hit his chest.
"Tell me... Deep down you don't really care because you want me. You want us. You've had feelings for me since we met. The same goes for Stu. You like fucked up things because it turns you on. And you can't lie because when you're drunk the truth comes out." Billy touches my face with the gun.
"He's not wrong, Allie. You're just as fucked up like us. You showed that in a way a lot when it comes to sex. Especially a threesome." Stu smiles behind Billy.
I'm never drinking around guys ever again since I apparently can't trust anyone I thought I could trust.
"Just get it over with and admit it. We won't judge you, baby." Stu smiles.
"I know you inside and out. It's okay, Allie." Billy tells me looking into my eyes.
"You're right." I give in when I shouldn't.
Billy had a way with words and could easily manipulate you into saying things. He scared me but fuck! I just fall into his trap. If someone was to ask me what he's best at I would say gaslighting people.
"What's your plan and motive?" I ask him.
"You'll see when Sidney gets up in a few seconds. Oh look she's waking up. Stu." Billy says and Stu gets a duck tape trying to tie me up.
"No, please," I say as Billy holds me still so Stu can tie me up.
"Just in case you want to go against us." Stu holds me up as Sidney gets up.
"What's the matter, Sidney? You look like you've seen a ghost." Billy tells her as she moves away from him.
"Why are you doing this?" She gasps and sees me with tears falling down my face tied up.
"It's all part of the game, Sidney." Stu plays with my hair.
Stu trades the gun with the knife so Billy could walk up closer to her. "You're crazy, both of you." She tells them as Stu lets me drop to the floor.
"Actually, we prefer the term psychotic," Stu tells her, so she tells them they'll never get away with this. So they say they have with her mother's death and my father's framing Cotton.
"Where you goin?" Stu sees me trying to worm my way out of the room. He picks me up, dragging me over to Billy and Sid.
"Did you hear that, Stu? I think she wants a motive." Billy looks back at us. Billy explains that he doesn't care for motives but then goes on about how her mom was a slut. "How about this? Your slut mother was fucking Allison's father and my father. And she's the reason my mom moved out and abandoned me. Now with Allison's dad, he hurt her physically and emotionally so I didn't like that. No one can hurt my girl. How's that for motive?" Billy explains so she looks over at me as Stu tries to keep me up because I started to jerk in his arm as Billy kisses me.
"Maternal abandonment causes serious deviant behavior. It certainly fucked you up. It made you have sex with a psychopath." Billy tells her.
"That's right. You have it up. Now you're no longer a virgin. Oooh! Now you gotta die. Those are the rules." Stu points the gun at her while Billy holds her.
Stu then goes to pull out Sid's dad so they can blame him for the whole thing. He snapped on the anniversary, killing everyone but them and I managed to survive.
"Watch this," Billy tells Sidney then the guys stab each other except Billy stabs Stu a little too much.
"Please!" I cry as Stu bends down in pain.
"I can't take anymore. I feel a little woozy here!" Stu yells at him.
"I got carried away. Don't worry." Billy tells me as I try to keep my balance.

I know I'm late, but I made the mistake of watching "Teen Wolf: The Movie" and I'm in pain. The subtitles don't match, it took me three rewinds to realize the knock-Kira's name is Midori, and I don't get the existence of this movie beyond "how can we reward the worst characters while making Derek suffer for having the nerve to breath." It's so bad.
Like, everyone's character development is undone sans Scott because he's exactly the same as he's always been. They had a decent storyline at the end of season 6 with the supernatural vs human world war and that would've made a good movie, but NOOOO.
They were so obsessed with recreating season 3B while ignoring why it was recognized as the best season of the show's run. They give us this poorly written and horribly edited crock of shit, throw most of their lore in the dumpster and set it on fire. Because SEASON 3B KNOCK OFF!
Like what the actual hell did I watch? How does the Oni sword that killed Allison still exist, it was a SPIRIT SWORD! Why didn't the come up with a better storyline to revive Allison? Like, this whole movie was to bring that murderous nutjob back to life, but it happens by COMPLETE COINCIDENCE / ACCIDENT! NO ONE KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING!!!
And I'm ignoring knock-off Stiles because seriously? Derek having a kid would be interesting IF THE KID WASN'T A TEENAGER AND LOOKED LIKE HIM! In the words of my sister, Derek Hale is "spicy White, they should've gotten a spicy kid or had a Black kid and say he got back with Braeden instead of giving him a Stiles-looking kid."
And WHY did they take scenes to make it about Scott and Allison when it WASNT ABOUT THEM!? The motel scene was such a testimant to Stiles' friendship with Scott (which I viewed as heavily one-sided because Scott has sucked since season 1) and they go "let's make this about Allison."
And the squick of it all because Allison should be A WHOLE SEVENTEEN YEAR OLD???? She wasn't even with Scott when she died and now I'm supposed to be rooting for this?
You wanna know what would've been interesting? Having the nogistune pose as Allison, had it manipulate them (minus useless Jackson) into resurrecting what they think is Allison and is really just a golem for the nogitsine to inhabit! You wanna obsess with the nogitsune so badly, actually write something that MAKES SENSE!

Derek left Beacon Hills after all the Alpha Pack/Darach drama, and he didn't really wanna keep up with BH, so he asked Peter to not tell him anything. He had no idea that the Nogitsune happened. So, when he finally returns to BH, 5 YEARS later, he wasn't really expecting a warm welcome or anything, but he also wasn't expecting the coldness of everyone. Like they were just cold and polite, something clearly happened while he was gone 'cause they were just treating him as a stranger and not the pack he once was. But the worst thing for Derek was that Stiles of all people was the one leading the cold party, he was, apparently, the emissary and was acting as such. Derek couldn't recognize Stiles, Stiles was no longer the warm, sarcastic, clumsy and innocent human Derek once knew. No. Sure, he was still sarcastic but no longer warm, clumsy, innocent nor even human. Stiles was now cold, sarcastic, stoic, graceful and some kind of a magic user? Derek thought that was the smell anyways. A kitsune that Derek didn't know stepped forward and said "Since our Alpha here seems to have forgotten the meaning of 'introduce', allow me to do the honors. I'm Kira, the one with the puppy look in there is Isaac, the other one with the puppy look is Liam, the redhead is Lydia and our Alpha, you may know him as Red, but Stiles for us and whoever he decides to be friendly with."
Derek is confused and asks whoever wants to answer him out of the ones he once knew "What happened to Scott? Why is Stiles the Alpha now? Why go by another name?" for Derek's surprise, Lydia is the one who answers "Scott is dead now, just like Allison and the Sheriff...I mean, Stiles' dad, not Jordan. Geez, why is it always confusing to explain to someone we knew?!" Derek gets even more surprised when Stiles laughs and says "Well, 'cause as far as they know my dad is still the Sheriff and is still alive. They usually don't keep up with the news once they leave, Lyds." Lydia shrugs and says "You're not wrong there..."
Derek is more confused than shocked or surprised by now. Like, why the fuck they're being so casual about it?! But before he can ask anything, Kira asks something first "Wait, so you guys know Mr Werewolf confused here?" Isaac replies "Me, Stiles and Lydia, yeah. He was our Alpha once." Kira just lets a "Oh" out and Liam just nods So Derek asks now "Okay, but when did that happened? How?! And I still haven't got my answer to why use a different name." Stiles is the one that answers this time "I was possed and thought it would be great to go on a killing spree around Beacon Hills. Scott, Allison and my dad were caught in the crossfire. It wasn't fun, but shit happens and we had some time to grief and lots of therapy, which also wasn't fun. And the name is just something we thought it would be fun, since you know, I'm kinda the only person alive to survive being possed by a Nogitsune. I wouldn't recommend that as well, it kinda sucks to know that your magic kinda made a clone of you and you and your pack killed your original body." and Derek could just stare at them shocked, all he could think was "What the fuck?!"

I always come back
Chapter 5
“Dude! It’s so obvious!” Allison was giving Gregory a wide smirk. “For the last time, I don't like her Ally!”
Both of his friends gave him a deadpan expression. “Stop lying. It’s super obvious. Everyone knows.” Mason told him.
It had been a month since Cassie had joined the school, other than the adoption thing, Gregory hadn’t managed to get anything about her past out of her. It was disappointing, but it didn’t mean nothing had happened between them.
Quite the contrary.
~
“Mr. Ramirez, Ms. Nightingale, why don’t you both read the next part of this chapter?” They had been reading some 20th century play, it was mostly boring, but maybe that was how Gregory felt. “Okay ma’am.” Gregory said, getting up and moving to the front of the class, followed by Cassie. The teacher called up a few more people, and started to give them their roles. “Okay. Mr. Ramirez, you will be Dimitri, and Ms. Nightingale, you will be Adele.” Both Gregory and Cassie blushed furiously. Dimitri and Adele were in love. They were playing the role of lovers.
Everyone in the class was suddenly paying more attention, and with how the teacher was watching, Gregory was certain she had done this on purpose.
“Now go on, start. You two have the first few lines.” Gregory looked down into the textbook to see what the lines were.
Oh man. He is going to send their damn teacher to the pizza plex ruins.
It was a confession scene.
With how Cassie was giving the teacher a wide-eyed stare, he knew she wasn’t exactly pleased by this either.
“Go on. We’re waiting.” Gregory took in a breath and moved over to Cassie, trying to use the textbook to cover his face. “My dearest beloved Adele, please I request you to listen to my words, for I am afraid that I may never be given yet another chance to say these after this moment.” He read out, trying his hardest not to look Cassie in the eyes.
“Oh what is it you wish to tell me? Quick. Tell it quickly, before my mother finds us!” Cassie responded, and Gregory had to admit, she’d make for a good actress. “Ever since I laid eyes on you, that chance day two years ago, I have carried a feeling so strong J have not been able to ignore it, my dearest Adele. You have been the sun in my dark life, and I have cared for you very deeply. I just wish for you to hear this from my own lips, for I know that your mother will never approve of our relationship.” He looked up, and realized Cassie was staring at him, her bright brown eyes had an emotion that Gregory couldn’t understand.
“Oh Dimitri..” She whispered. “I.. I love you. I was afraid you wouldn’t care for me in such a way, so I never told you! Oh! Only if I had, we could’ve made a plan or something to get away from here. But now, it is too late for me. My mother will find me no matter where I go. I am not safe anywhere, my beloved.” The way she said it, made it seem to Gregory like she was actually feeling those emotions. ‘Dang. She is good.’
He placed his hand on her cheek. “My love! This whole time I thought you hated me! But you don’t. And that is enough for me! I do not care what comes our way now that I know. I will find us a way to be happy.”
They were really getting into the roles now, and everyone in class watched with bated breath. “What can we do? No matter where we go, my fiance and my mother will find us.”
Gregory leaned closer. “Do you not remember the promise we made to each other? I will always be by your side, my love. No matter what comes our way.”
Cassie leaned closer as well. “But they’ll find us.. And when they do, they’ll kill you.”
“Then I shall die for you.”
“But.. What if they use magic on me? Make me hurt you? They would do something like that.. My family..” Cassie asked.
“I will still love you till my last breath, my dearest Adele.. Nothing will ever change that.” The two of them stared at each other, not even noticing how close they were, just enjoying each other’s presence, before the teacher snapped them out of it. “Everyone! Clap for them! That was an amazing performance.” The whole class burst into applause for the two of them, and that was when Greg and Cassie realized that they had been embracing each other. The two of them pulled away, bright blushes on their cheeks.
“You did well.” “So did you.”
~
“That means nothing! We were just acting!” Gregory said defensively. “The way you two were looking at each other said it all, she was practically swooning at your words Greg.” Ally responded with a smirk. “And she had been admiring you when you were staring at the textbook, you could say she was giving you heart eyes man!”
Greg simply shook his head. “She was simply acting!”
“Well she gives you that look in class too.” Mason said.
That made Gregory pause, and look up at him. “What?” “The other day, you were explaining something to her, and she was looking at you like you hung up the sun! She is so clearly crushing on you man!”
The brunette blushed at that. Was that true?
“I can see her looking at you right now!~” Ally suddenly squealed, shaking Mason while gesturing to a table on the other side.
Gregory looked in that direction to see Cassie indeed sitting there, looking at him. When she saw him looking back at her, she waved, and the brunette swore he could see her blushing. He grinned like an idiot and waved back.
“Dude it is literally so painfully obvious. Why are you so clueless?!” Gregory groaned quietly. “I don’t like her! Goddamn you Ally.” “Wait guys, she's coming to our table!” Mason said, making Gregory’s heart leap. “Wait what?!” “Hey Gregory..” The brunette looked back to find Cassie standing there, her eyes shining excitedly. “H-Hey! Do you need something?” “Oh I was just wondering if you had a pen I could borrow? My pen ran out of ink and I'm not carrying a cartridge..” Gregory pulled out his pencil pouch and handed her a pen. “Here..” “Thanks.. I’ll return it at the end of the day.” Cassie said, before going back to her lunch table.
“She's lying man! I saw her pencil pouch, she does have a cartridge, it was just an excuse to talk to you!” Ally said, bouncing in her seat.
“She’s crushing on you!” “And you’re crushing on her too!” “Ugh! I’m not!” Were they ever going to let it go?
~
“Look kid, if you don’t admit it, I will go and confess to her for you.” Gregory groaned in response, looking over at the ex-nightguard. “Please don’t.” All he could imagine was the nightguard going up to Cassie and going on one knee with a ring, saying, ‘Will you be my daughter-in-law?’ That would be embarrassing, he would never live it down.
“We all would..” Roxy said with a shrug from the upstairs charging station. “PLEASE DON’T!” “Then admit you like her!” “I don’t! She’s just a friend!” Gregory tossed the nearest object at Vanessa, which happened to be his gel pen. It landed right on her head. “Ow! That’s not how you treat your adopted mom!” “Then stop bugging me about Cassie!” Vanessa’s face softened and she sat down next to the boy. “Sorry.. We were really just teasing you, did it upset you?” Greg looked away and nodded. “Yeah..” Vanessa hugged him. “I’m sorry baby.. We’ll stop bugging you about it. Promise.” Gregory hugged her back tighter with a smile.
“Okay but seriously he does like her.” Freddy said from behind them, to which Gregory just groaned. “Spare me!”

Theo was standing in front of the mirror in their ridiculously big, ridiculously bougie, and ridiculously light entrance hallway, staring down his own reflection, checking to make sure his fangs weren't showing. Which he could feel they didn't do, but he did need to do something.
Soon Tracy was going to pick him up for school, which he found unbelievably annoying, but then he did drive his truck into a tree, so it was mostly on him that it needed fixing right now.
He sighed, impatiently checking his phone.
Tracy was running late, which meant he was running late.
Tara slid behind his back, as if he couldn't hear her coming in her heels on their fancy floor a mile away, putting a hand on his shoulder in one smooth motion, placing her chin on the other, looking at both their reflections.
"Are you nervous your little girlfriend will figure out you're planning to snack on her?" she turned her head to the side, letting out a tiny laugh that purposefully sounded like silver bells or something, because she was the perfect little heiress to the family. "Literally."
Theo rolled his eyes. He was so glad sometimes that he wasn't a girl and didn't stand a chance at having a place in the vampire hierarchy. If something were to happen to Tara, the responsibility was going to go to their cousin, not Theo, since he was a guy. Which was bad for the family, Theo guessed, loosing the status and all.
"It's not going to be her."
It was Tara's turn to roll her eyes, looking as annoyed as Theo felt.
"I don't get you. She's a perfectly fine mark, and you need to get your First Kill soon, Theo," their eyes met in the mirror. "It's not something you can put off for too long," she said with intention, as if talking to a toddler who didn't understand why one shouldn't play with an electric socket.
She patted his shoulder and left, leaving him even more annoyed.
He knew perfectly well that he had to kill someone soon. He wanted to. He had been waiting for this since he could walk, basically. He felt the burn of it in the back of his throat pretty much all the time even with the pills.
But he also knew that Tracy wasn't it. He wanted his First Kill to be perfect. It couldn't just be anyone. But he didn't know who it had to be yet, he didn't see anyone who would be what he wanted.
He just knew that he would know when he needed to know. And Tara rushing him wasn't going to do anything. Theo didn't even exactly understand why she was rushing him. The thirst wasn't getting super bad (maybe just yet), the blood pills their parents got him worked fine; he wasn't female, so he wasn't in waiting for the crown of vampire royalty, even if they didn't really have any kind of proper governing structure or anything in place. He didn't really matter that much in the grand scheme of powers his mother and sister cared the most about.
There was a honk from the outside.
"Your little friend is here," Tara almost sang from the living room, as if Theo wasn't literally standing by the door. "Still alive," she added in an exaggeratedly sad voice.
Theo almost growled, throwing the door open with Tara's infuriatingly ugly laughter following him out.

Stiles got out of his car. More like fell out, but whatever.
"I just don't get it, like, we've trained basically our whole lives. Well, you did, but still, I've done enough, too. Why can't we go hunting with them?" he complained, throwing his hands up, accidentally sending his car keys flying.
Allison looked up at their new school, covering her eyes from the sun, while he scrambled to pick them up.
"No, I totally agree, but I also think that maybe dad and Kate know better? Since, you know, they went through this exact thing and everything."
Stiles made a vague noise. They had this argument hundreds of times by now, both with their dad and aunt and without them. On one hand, yeah, maybe it was a safety thing, maybe they weren't ready or something. But on the other…
They have been training for so long, and when Stiles - an overly traumatised and overly excited seven-year-old back then - learned that he was getting adopted into a monster hunter family, he sure as hell had hoped for some monster hunting to happen eventually. And that was ten years ago. He wasn't that far from being an adult. Maybe he should be allowed to stab an undead thing here and there? Just a little bit. As a treat.
So while Allison may be willing to comply with what their dad said (and what their mom used to say), Stiles was going to kill something. Soon. He was going to get his First Kill in this town. He decided.
So he probably didn't have much time. No one knew how soon they were going to have to move, it was up to the Hunters' Guild. Stiles had better figure it out soon. It didn't have to be something big. Just a little zombie or something.
He finally retrieved his keys and looked up at the school as well. It was huge (especially for a town of this size), and bright, and somehow way too pretentious looking for a public school, really. The sun reflecting from the banner with the school football team's name (Stiles guessed it was football) was almost blinding.
"Okay, whatever. Do you have a scheme or something? Because this place is huge."
Allison sighed and took out her phone.
***
Theo was laughing at something one of the guys on the lacrosse team said, sitting up on the table, his feet on the chair, when he smelled something.
Something that caused the world around him to go bright red like it caught fire, and his all senses to become almost painfully sharp, his throat closing up with thirst. He had to squeeze his eyes shut, his hand gripping the edge of the table under him until it was almost painful.
Everything was so much, all at once, and he was so, so, so hungry, and there was so much food around him, and he felt his fangs press against his lower lip.
He couldn't… he needed…
He couldn't think. He just needed. What did he need?
He needed his pills. That was it. He was not about to ruin his First Kill by accidentally losing control. It was not happening.
His First Kill or his whole family's lives, actually.
He forced himself to let go of the table, then he dug around in his backpack by his side blindly, almost throwing it off the table, until he felt the little container with the very red capsules, almost dropping all of them onto the floor in his haste to rip the bottle open.
As soon as he felt the cold metal taste of the blood from the capsules cover his tongue in one thick explosion, the red in his eyes dissolved slowly like fog in sunlight, like the cover of the pill did in his mouth. He drew in a loud breath.
Josh made a compassionate sound from somewhere to Theo's left.
"Migraines are rough, bro."
Theo grunted in something resembling agreement, slowly peeling his eyes open.
Only to see a pair of brown ones staring at him, squinting slightly, suspicion in them clear as day. The sunlight from the huge window to the right made them look almost golden, like that fake liquid honey in those dumd squizzy bottles; those damned lashes looked like they were borrowed from a calf.
And that was when Theo knew. He felt a smirk slowly sneak its way onto his face. That was his person.
He knew who his First Kill was going to be.
"Who is that?"
Tracy, sitting in the next row, turned around, looking where Theo was looking.
"No idea," she turned back to painting her nails, disinterested.
Well, Theo was going to find this out. It was probably polite to know the name of the guy he was going to murder.
***
Stiles watched Theo Raeken from the bleachers. He and Allison were currently having to endure watching a lacrosse practice, purely for job reasons.
Only job reasons.
The fact that the guys looked mostly nice totally didn't do anything. And it absolutely wasn't as if Stiles actually liked sports.
Really, he wasn't on any teams just because they were moving around constantly, so there was no point.
"Look, there actually are painkillers that are pink, maybe he really has migraines?" Allison asked, showing Stiles a picture of a pill on her phone. "Or maybe he's a drug addict and needed his dose," She shrugged.
You know, like rich kids do casually, hung in the air.
Stiles turned to stare at her.
"So this sounds more plausible for you than the simple explanation of him being a vampire? And the pills were way more bright red than these are anyway. They were blood red, you know," he waved his hand at his sister and turned back to squinting at Theo on the field.
Only to immediately avert his eyes, totally inconspicuously, almost falling off the bench when he saw Theo squinting back at him.
Theo smiled and waved in all of his jock glory.
Stiles was totally not looking at him anymore.
Allison raised her eyebrows at him.
"Do you actually think he's a vampire or do you just need a reason to stalk the guy?"
Stiles actually fell over in his haste to stare at her accusatory and indignant. Like he needed a reason to stalk anyone. He could stalk whoever he wanted whenever he wanted.
And anyway…
"I have taste, actually, and he's… he's…" Stiles made a face and a gesture roughly in the direction of where he presumed Theo was on the field.
Because he wasn't looking.
Allison's eyebrows climbed even higher.
"Not your type?"
"Yeah!" the skepticism in Allison's eyes made him backtrack a bit. "Well, okay, that's a lie, but I'm not having a… crush on a vampire or something! Objectively, he's attractive, but that's it."
They were so lucky there was hardly anyone on the bleachers, so they didn't really need to lower their voices. He was grateful that vampire super-hearing was only a thing of legends.
He found Theo on the field again with his eyes, shit-talking some other guy on the team, by the looks of it. Allison might not believe him, but Stiles was going to prove all of them that he was right.
And get his First Kill in the process.
***
The party seemed like an easy way out. There are ways to get people away from other people even if they weren't that into you, and Theo knew all of them, of course. After hearing that there was a party happening already, he made sure that Stiles got invited as well, watched it happen. He didn't even have to organise anything. He didn't have any guarantees that Stiles would show up, though, but Theo was willing to take these odds.
Now he was standing in the living room, his usual entourage around him, keeping up the sound bubble around him while he scanned the room almost restlessly, waiting for Stiles to show up.
For now, he chose to ignore the possibility of this not happening.
Eventually, when Theo had to go get his glass of mostly juice refilled (he knew he wasn't going to get actually drunk, his body couldn't absorb human food that well, but it was going to have some effect, and Theo wanted to remember every single second of this night crystal clear) and almost went to do it (it was annoying to get through all the people), he noticed Stiles and his sister. Theo couldn't remember her name; she was also very pretty, and betting on her was probably safer in terms of how easy it would've been to get her away from everyone, but Theo knew what he wanted.
He jumped off the closed grand piano he was sitting on, turning to Tracy.
"You know what, this is getting boring," he stretched a bit, lazily. "Maybe we should arrange a game or something. Seven minutes in heaven?" He said distractedly, knowing full well Tracy was going to jump to organize whatever he mentioned.
"Oh yeah, totally," and she was off somewhere in the crowd looking for people and a place.
Getting into the kitchen to refill his juice, he found Josh there.
"I heard Tracy was arranging some game. Should we invite the new guy? Get to know them better and everything, you know," a lazy smile definitely got his point across.
After ticking off this point of his plan, making the cogs of the party move and the clock tick its way to the hour of First Kill, Theo moved forward.
In one of the upstairs bedrooms (he felt kind of annoyed about this, he had wasted some time looking) he found Lucas.
Leaning against the wall, the picture of casual disinterest, Theo took in all the weed on the blue duvet.
"You heard Tracy is organizing something downstairs?"
Lucas nodded slowly. His pupils were huge. Maybe there was not just weed here, actually. Theo didn't know and didn't care.
"Gonna go down in a minute."
Theo almost nodded, satisfied, but stopped himself. He knew he could trust Tracy to work quickly.
Lucas did the rest of the work for him. He smirked suggestively:
"Anyone you're hoping to get?"
Theo shrugged, feigning lazy interest.
"The new guy seemed cute."
Lucas laughed a bit.
After a moment, Theo left.
Now he just needed for Stiles to agree to the game.
***
Stiles almost sighed in relief when that girl that he had seen around Theo (Allison thought her name was Tracy) invited him to that dumb game.
Who the hell was even still playing it, especially in high school? But it definitely was a great way to at least try to get Theo alone with just a little bit of luck.
Which he made sure was going to be on his side by stealing a little amulet from his father's stash of witch-hunting trophies.
A small circle gathered around the kitchen island with the bottle placed as a central piece. Stiles wasn't sure what exactly the rules were, but he guessed it was intuitive enough.
Of course Theo and several of his little pack of small town cool kids were across from Stiles. He still felt betrayed that Allison had ditched him to go talk to some guy with a jaw very noticeably to the side, but then he guessed it would've been kind of awkward to play something like this with a sibling.
Anyway, Stiles was here now, looking at the admittedly attractive smirk on the admittedly handsome face of the admittedly hot Theo Raeken (he knew what he was doing with this pink sweatshirt).
Also known as Stiles' future First Kill.
Someone was talking around him, but Stiles wasn't listening. All his thoughts were about how Theo was going to perish into dust with Stiles' silver dagger in his heart and how he was going to get the traditional Argent hunter bullet tattoo afterwards. He guessed it was going to hurt, but he couldn't wait. He already knew what design he wanted.
Stiles snapped back when someone spun the bottle. He forgot to listen to the rules they used here, but it probably wasn't that different from everyone else's.
The bottle spun and then started to slow down.
Stiles could feel Theo still smirking across the table, so full of himself (and, probably, others, or at least their blood), it was almost annoying.
Theo was watching him, too, Stiles could feel it. He guessed it was a good thing for this particular situation that he managed to capture the attention of the local Main Asshole.
The bottle between them stopped.
***
Theo felt like cackling on the inside. The bottle did what he needed it to do even without Lucas' intervention.
It looked like everything in this game was on his side.
He knew he was probably going to get in trouble for that (he was going to be the last person seen with Stiles when they would find the body, after all) but he knew Tara was going to help him out.
His First Kill was a big family occasion even though he wasn’t an heir. Pureblood traditions and all.
He slid a finger along one of the shelves, walking into the huge pantry after Stiles, and while he did manage to keep his glee quiet, he could still feel a smirk tugging on his lips. At least it wasn’t the fangs. Yet. He could feel it coming, making him feel giddy.
"Who the hell needs to have that much food?" asked Stiles, looking around and scrunching up his nose.
He looked adorable in his little red hoodie.
This was like a fairytale or something.
Theo shrugged, eyes not leaving Stiles even for a second. He could attack him right now and be over with it.
But where was the fun in that?
He came closer, every move deliberately slow, like with a snake, so it wouldn't see you.
"Well, rich people, I guess. Ours is smaller, though" because they used it just for decoration, really.
But this one was really kind of bizarre, why was there a window at all? Wasn't this counterproductive?
Stiles just looked at him.
"Or people who believe in apocalypse."
Theo nodded. He knew how to keep up a polite small talk while waiting for the dinner to be served.
"Or those."
There was a beat of silence. Stiles huffed, impatient.
"So, are we going to do anything or just stand around?" he asked, his tone just shy of business-like.
Theo let out an involuntary laugh.
"You sound so eager, I'm almost insulted," he stepped closer, stopping just on this side of invading Stiles' personal space, of crowding him against the shelves.
Stiles rolled his eyes at him.
"Okay, I'm sure at least three quarters of the people around here who are attracted to guys would fall over themselves to be in my place, but I've moved around too much to do that. Every school has someone like you, and all of you are assholes, and I’m too much of one myself for our personalities to be compatible in long term, and I’m a long term kind of guy."
Theo wasn’t sure if Stiles took a breath anywhere in this little triade, and he was sort of impressed. Maybe it could've been fun to keep Stiles around for a bit. See what else he could hold his breath for.
He stepped closer, now positively overstepping a boundary, smiling at Stiles in the sweetest way he could manage, his oh she actually has a curfew, but you're such a nice boy, of course you can bring her back after midnight smile.
"So… you don't want to make out with me?"
Stiles made a face at him.
"I didn't say that."
He grabbed Theo's shoulder, pulling him in, close, putting their mouths together.
Theo couldn't for the life of him describe what the kiss had felt like. He guessed it was a kiss.
What he could describe was the feeling of a heartbeat just under his thumb on Stiles' warm neck.
Theo let his lips slide down, leaving a kiss on Stile's jaw, before getting to his neck, fangs just scraping the sensitive skin for a second.
Stiles moved in his arms, one of his hands leaving Theo’s back for a second.
Theo pushed his fangs in, the metallic taste immediately making him forget about the party going on outside. For a second his whole world became the fresh, warm, warm, warm blood on his tongue.
And then he felt something sharp against his chest, and it burned, and he stumbled back.
There was a dagger in his chest.
He looked up at Stiles, not quite comprehending.
"You… fuck…"
Stiles looked at him, weirdly, pressing a hand against his neck.
Everything swam in front of Theo's eyes, and then the fire alarm went off, and everything went black.
***
Stiles bullied Allison into not telling anything about the party and what happened to their father (or to Kate, which was more likely; they had always been close, but after Victoria's death they became even closer; also, it was probably weird that Stiles was calling Chris his dad, but Victoria would always remain Victoria because she died before Stiles felt ready to call his adoptive parents mom and dad). He wanted Theo's disappearance to hit the news before he would say anything.
He could see it in his head (half-delirious right now with the lack of sleep right now, and he didn't even know why he slept so bed, it was like he was having some weird dreams), how he was going to be all smug about it because he got his First Kill without anyone's help.
Well, almost. Allison did cause the fire alarm to go off, so in the general chaos no one would notice him sneaking out.
He was probably going to be questioned about Theo's whereabouts, but there was no body to be found, and it's not like he realistically could've had an opportunity to do something to it between them going into that pantry and him appearing next to his car and making sure to cause a whole commotion so the most people would see him being there.
Without any traces of fang wounds that definitely should've been there, but he was going to research this on his own time. He felt it. Even Allison didn't need to know he got bitten.
Anyway, it wasn't enough to turn him, that he was sure of, so he was probably going to be fine.
Most likely.
Possibly.
Maybe everything is different with purebloods.
He pressed a hand against his neck where he could still feel Theo's warm mouth.
He was probably going to need to stop ignoring whatever the teacher wanted to inform him about.
He heard a door behind his back open.
"Sorry, I overslept."
Stiles tensed up immediately and felt Allison whipping her head to look at him, eyes probably all huge.
Because the point of yesterday's plan was to make sure that this voice was never going to sound out loud again.
"Mr. Raeken, oh, it's alright, it's just a couple of minutes, go sit down," said the teacher, smiling at Theo like he was her favourite grandchild.
Stiles watched Theo walk by him, stared at his back when he sat down two rows in front and diagonally from Stiles.
This shouldn't be possible. He used a silver dagger, he had seen his father kill vampires with it before, it worked, Stiles was sure of this. Did he do something wrong? Did he not pierce the heart? Fuck, be was so fucked now.
Theo laughed quietly at what the guy next to him said, and then turned around, his smile morphing into a smirk when he caught Stiles staring.
Stiles looked into his sparkling blue eyes, and suddenly felt threatened. Now there was actually something dangerous in there, not just an asshole jock.
Now he wasn't safe.
He did ended up just teasing a bear in spring, didn't he? But how did it not work? What did he do wrong? Where was his mistake? Stiles' mind was all over the place now, and he couldn't understand what he did wrong.
Allison was tugging on his sleeve, trying to get his attention.
Theo winked at him and turned back around to the teacher.
"Stiles, we're screwed," Allison whispered urgently.
It was so nice of her to be willing to take the fall with him.
***
Theo rubbed his forehead. He just took a pill, and the world around him was slowly becoming less red.
This was not helping his general level of annoyance.
More like rage, really.
He still couldn't exactly wrap his head around the fact that not only Stiles turned out to be a hunter (who the hell else would have had a silver dagger just laying around), he also figured Theo out just like that and ruined his favourite sweatshirt.
Not it was a matter of… honor, Theo guessed, or whatever. Who the fuck Stiles thought he was, trying to kill Theo like that.
Not that he could actually kill a pureblood vampire like that, mind you, so obviously Stiles didn't know his hunting theory too well, but this was not Theo's problem.
Also, Theo had slept like shit last night.
Tara watched him from the door of his room where he was sprawled on top of the duvet.
"You know you need to kill someone soon, right?"
Theo grunted in response. He had no patience for her right now.
He could feel her rolling her eyes at him.
"It can't be your picture-perfect First Kill or whatever you got in that big head of yours, okay? It's just something you have to do, otherwise you're just going to lose control one day and give away all of us, you dumbass."
Theo thought about Stiles' blood in his mouth. About a knife in his heart.
"It's going to be what I say it's going to be, fuck off," he sat up. "It's my First Kill, I'm going to decide how and when it's going to happen, and it's absolutely none of your business. Also, get out of my room!"
Tara stared at him, full of indignation.
"The hell, Theo? You are literally setting all of us up. You have to think about the family's safety, not just yourself! I get it, it must be a complicated concept for you to grasp, but maybe it's time to fucking learn that the world doesn't revolve around you!"
"I know that!"
Tara threw her hands up.
"Is this about the guy that stabbed you? I'm going to deal with it, it's fine, you don't have to arrange your little revenge thing!"
Theo gritted his teeth. Of course she was going to handle it, she was supposed to prove that she was going to be a good little heiress and could keep this family safe.
Theo hated the fact that he was so screwed up last night, he actually told her everything.
She could handle everyone else. Stiles was Theo's.
"You're not touching Stiles. Now, fuck off!" He threw a pillow at her.
Tara caught it with ease, rolling her eyes, closing the door and taking his pillow with her.
"You're such a baby, Jesus."
***
Stiles absolutely hated going grocery shopping. Especially after he had spent the night having a very bizarre conversation with Theo Raeken. In his dream. His subconsciousness could be so unbelievably annoying sometimes. He guessed it had this in common with Theo.
Anyway, he felt awkward with other people knowing what he was buying for some reason. But he was actively trying to get on his dad's good side before he told him he might have totally told a vampire family that they were hunters and had completely zero ideas about how to fix it.
He didn't even know why Theo didn't die. A silver dagger into the heart was how it was done, Stiles was sure of it. He heard sizzling when it went into Theo's chest, so that must mean it did do something, just not what he needed it to.
So Stiles was probably in deadly trouble now, and so he wanted to mitigate the damage as much as he could.
He also didn't have much time, so he needed to tell his dad soon. Preferably yesterday, but he blew that chance. However, he didn't think the vampires were going to wait long. Even Theo in his dream said something along these lines. Which meant Stiles knew, but he also really didn't feel like catching the hell that he was going to get when he told his dad. Even if it was deserved and the least of his worries right now, really.
Now he wasn't going to get to officially kill anything until he was like 30. Practically ancient.
He walked out of the shop with his bags and almost dropped them while trying to get his keys, as per usual.
He felt even shakier today than he normally did, that dream last night felt so weird, it was still screwing with him.
It was kind of Friday evening, so there wasn't much place in the parking lot in front of the shop or in the street, so he had to park in the back alley, which was sort of convenient as he could put his bag on his knee against the wall to make it a bit easier to reach his pocket.
He heard heels clicking on the asphalt behind him, but didn't have time to turn around and look, as someone pressed on his neck, forcing him to lean his head to the side, and then there was sharp pain in his neck.
Familiar pain.
He tried to make a sound, and the person behind him (he could only tell that they had kind of small hands and were shorter than he was) hummed gently, as if to say "shh", and then he lost consciousness.
***
"I think your sister just kidnapped me," said Stiles, frowning.
Theo scoffed.
"She wouldn't."
Theo was lying. She totally would. He could even kill Stiles on the family's behalf.
Theo really had to get going with his plan, Tara wouldn't wait much longer.
"Yeah, no, I'm pretty sure that's exactly what happened, and now I'm dreaming about you again," Stiles sat down on the fallen tree trunk.
They were in what looked like an abandoned garden. Everything was kind of rotten. Theo didn't know why his subconsciousness was doing this. Also, it wasn't Stiles dreaming about him, it was Theo dreaming about Stiles.
"No…" Theo didn't have time to finish.
A bird flew right over his head, screaming like it was insane. Like the birds did around here.
It wasn't in the dream, though. So he woke up.
Blinking awake, he looked at the pool and considered it. Maybe trying to do his homework outside wasn't his brightest idea.
It's not like it was hot enough for the pool. It's just that it symbolized everything that annoyed Theo about trying to concentrate outside, which was primarily the noise, which wasn't apparently stopping him from falling asleep.
Everything made a fucking noise. Birds in the neighbour's little garden. The trees and the bushes. The insects.
The fucking pool and the fucking wind.
But he kind of failed to concentrate in his room as well. He kept thinking about Stiles' mouth under his lips. About the slightly rough skin of his neck under his teeth.
About his blood on Theo's tongue.
Theo slammed his textbook in his lap shut.
He had been this fucking close to his First Kill, he had to get it now. There was literally no other option. The fucker had to die, and Theo was going to be the one to do it. Maybe that was going to stop these weird dreams.
Like hell Tara would just kidnap anyone.
Anyway. If before Theo might have considered letting it go in case of a failure, after that dagger pierced his skin there was just no other option for him. Stiles was going to be his first, and that was it. As simple as this.
He might need to really hurry up though, there was always a possibility that the hunters wouldn't stay to actually try to destroy Theo and his family but choose to run, and then it was going to be a hassle to deal with. Also, there was Tara.
Theo couldn't really go away chasing someone right now, he had school. Tara, however, could do whatever the fuck she wanted.
He heard the sound of heels clicking on the tile around the pool and rolled his eyes. He knew this sound anywhere. That was just what he needed right now. Tara and her bullshit.
"Fuck off," he didn't even look up at her, slamming his textbook again, this time open, the edge jamming into his thigh, in order to scowl at it like he was actually reading it.
Tara laughed her silver bell laugh.
"Still being a huge baby, I see. Come, I have a surprise for you."
"Go away."
"No, come with me, it won't take too long, I'm sure you'll be finished really quickly," she said with a weird intonation and laughed again.
There was something in her tone that suggested that there was a nice virgin girl waiting for him in the woods to do whatever he desired to, or something.
Theo scowled even deeper. He wanted Stiles, not that.
Also, like hell he would be finished quickly.
"No."
Tara almost stomped her feet, Theo could feel it.
"Come on, you're literally not doing anything, just sulking here because you got too bored sulking in your room."
Jesus, his sister was so annoying, he would make a great heiress.
"You'll like it," she added.
Theo squized his eyes shut for a second.
Okay, Tara wasn't leaving him alone apparently. It was easier to give in, he knew it, he grew up with her. He closed his textbook again with a sigh and stood up, tossing it on the lounge chair he had been on.
"Okay, whatever. I don't have much time," that was mostly a lie if one didn't consider thinking about the ways to get to Stiles a hobby.
Which it was. Theo was going to go into town to try to stalk Stiles out today. He was working on his hobby, he didn't have time.
Hunting was a hobby, right? So were specific types of hunting.
Tara smirked at him. He felt that familiar almost rage at the thought that he smirked the same way. He needed to unlearn it, right this second.
"You're going to like it," she said again.
***
Stiles slowly came to. He was confused about what exactly was happening. He felt dizzy and there was something on his wrists. He had the weirdest dream about Theo again.
He slowly blinked his eyes open. Someone was yelling. He couldn't open his mouth. He thought there was something over his mouth.
"What the fuck were you even thinking?!"
Okay, that voice Stiles recognised, although the intonations were new.
Someone was very angry. Someone who was supposed to be very dead.
"That you were going to fuck all of us over with your idiotic stubbornness, you dumb ass!"
She definitely said it in two separate words.
"You…" it sounded like Theo couldn't find words to describe what she was; it looked like it too, his face flushed with, presumably, rage. "You had no right," he gritted through his teeth eventually, way quieter than the rest of their nice sibling chat.
Stiles guessed they were talking about him, and he did not want to know why exactly. But then, it was pretty obvious, considering his hands were bound and there was some tape on his mouth. There was also blood on his shirt, but he didn't feel hurt. So the marks must've disappeared the way Theo's did. Because Tara definitely bit him to knock him out.
Did Theo's sister bit him? She had to, Stiles definitely had felt this exact same thing before, and that was at the party.
Tara moved closer to Theo, getting in his face, hissing something too low for Stiles to hear over the sound of the creek running under the bridge Theo and his sister were arguing on.
Theo grabbed her shoulder.
Stiles decided that this was about time he concentrated on his restraints, since both of his captors were distracted. Although he guessed it was just Tara who was his main captor.
He guessed they were fighting now, judging by the sounds of it, like, physically, but he was too busy trying to pry the little blade he had on his forearm down and then cutting the tape with it.
It didn't actually take very long, and he finished right in time with the end of the fight on the bridge.
The last bit of the tape fell apart.
There was a gasp, a huge splash and a quiet shit, and then there was only the sound of the creek.
Stiles looked up.
Theo was standing on the bridge with his hands covered in blood and a couple of rips in his shirt. He was staring down at the water with huge eyes.
There was a spill of red on the dark water, slowly getting bigger and longer as the water flowed further away.
Theo's sister was nowhere to be seen.
"Tara? Theo? Children, where are you?" Someone called from somewhere in the woods.
"Shit," said Theo again.
That was an admirable lack of reaction to killing his own sister.
Stiles squinted at the water, one part of his brain trying to understand what exactly happened (he should have watched the fight), so he could use it later, since it looked like standard methods didn't work; another part of his brain was concentrating hard on keeping as quiet as possible, and slowly getting away.
It was pretty dark in the forest already, so it was mostly the sound he was worried about. Vampires were way cooler in books.
"Kids?" Someone asked, stepping from behind the trees.
Theo looked white as a sheet and frozen, staring at the person coming.
Stiles wanted to bolt, but made himself walk on silent feet. He desperately hoped no one was going to follow him in the commotion he could hear starting behind his back.
"Theo? Why are you covered in blood? What the hell happened?" Asked someone.
Stiles didn't hear Theo's answer.
***
It has been two days since Tara kidnapped him and apparently got fucking killed by her little brother. The fuck. Did Theo kill his sister over Stiles?
Stiles' weird dreams became more vivid, now actually seeming to happen in real places. Theo was there sometimes, not always, though. According to him, he was the one sleeping and seeing Stiles, not the other way around. So he told Stiles that there were technically legends about vampires biting someone the wrong way and getting a mental connection to them, but it had to be on the neck, and usually when a vampire did that to you, you were dead, so there wasn't much evidence. He also told Stiles what, according to him (Stiles' dream!Theo), had happened to Tara, and, well, Stiles guessed his brain made the only thing that made sense with his knowledge and what he saw about what went wrong when he tried to kill Theo. Apparently, according to his brain, purebloods could only be killed one way, and it had nothing to do with silver.
What Stiles did know for sure, from real sources, was that Theo was now a wanted person among vampires for killing a pureblood, and so now hunters were trying to get to him before the vampires did to use as leverage. What for, exactly, was a mystery for Stiles, but his dad did whatever the Guild wanted.
But Theo was Stiles'. Only his.
So Stiles thanked everything that was there to thank that his father was predictable enough for Stiles to guess his password.
Stiles knew what he was doing was wrong. It went against everything his dad taught him and what the Guild stood for.
He was screwing with the data so they couldn't find Theo.
He knew they were getting close, he saw the maps. He knew it was absurd to believe his dreams, but it was the best he could do right now. He recognised the place Theo was in in his last dream, and he also knew where his father was searching. He didn't understand how or why, but the feeling that Theo was actually there was so strong he couldn't even question it. He knew it was probably his brain mixing up everything and making him believe what he wanted to believe, or whatever.
But Theo was his responsibility now. He was Stiles' fuck-up, and Stiles was going to fix it. The Guild void fuck off and die, they weren't going to use the fact that Theo was already separated from his own kind for their own needs. Stiles was going to kill him.
Or at least try out the theory his brain provided in his dream. Although it was kind of hard to set up. But Stiles could always knock Theo out with a nicely placed silver dagger and just a couple of herbs.
Anyway. Stiles wasn't going to let the Guild get to Theo. Theo was his to kill and only his. It felt personal now that he even got kidnapped for him. And Stiles didn't like leaving a mess, and Theo was his mess.
So Stiles wiped a detail here and there, changed some numbers. He was going to be the one to get to Theo. He was going to be the one to figure out how to kill a pureblood.
***
It was just a couple of hours later that they figured it out.
Well, Kate did. Stiles had never liked her much.
He did expect them to find out, but not this fast. He hoped he had some time to set something up in order to clean his name or something.
He didn't.
What he also didn't take into account was how high profile this case was with the Guild.
And exactly how much of a bitch Kate was.
Stiles knew what it meant. They all did. He was going to be judged. And the Guild didn't take kindly to saboteurs. Especially the ones potentially connected to the enemy (he asked his dad about it, apparently, there were actually legends like that in their books, although Stiles could swear he hadn't heard anything like that; it was before Kate decided to check their data again).
Stiles didn't have time for that. He had a mission to complete, and the Guild was just going to take up his time.
So he got half an hour of sleep in, got some stuff and sneaked away.
He was going to deal with the consequences later. After he got his First Kill on his own terms and cleaned up his mess. Right now, he had a mission.
***
Theo waited, leaning against a tree near the edge of the woods on the side of the road leading out of town.
He knew where he needed to be. They had an agreement.
It was funny, actually, how both of them ended up the prey in their families' hunts.
Theo killed a pureblood. Stiles prevented a killing of a pureblood.
Adorable, really. Red sting and everything.
Considering that Stiles was now potentially the only human who knew how to kill someone like Theo because Theo didn't realise in time that it wasn't just his subconsciousness.
And yet, here they were. Both having to run away, both absolutely refusing to give up. Both determined to make the other their First Kill.
Neither of their lives was going to be easy until they figured it out. Surviving off pig blood wasn't fun, but it was a matter of principle now.
Stiles' ancient jeep rolled up next to Theo.
Theo felt a smirk slowly appear on his face.
Stiles lowered the window.
"Well, I guess we are both unbelievably deeply fucked now and are currently making it worse."
Theo rolled his eyes.
"We are both dead anyway, might as well die in the right hands."
Stiles almost smiled at him. It wasn't a nice smile.
Theo felt almost giddy looking at it for some reason.
He got in the car.

Lying Through His Teeth (ao3)
---
If you asked Stiles a year ago if he would be not only a fox, but a part of Derek Hale’s pack and living in the Colorado mountains with them, he’d have barked a laugh in disagreement. But you see, when it boiled down to it, after the whole thing with the Nogitsune, Derek was the first to believe that him and the demon weren’t one and the same. That Stiles was still himself. He could still look at the now fox and not see a monster that killed their friend. Rather the same mole speckled boy that’s just a touch more coordinated now.
A touch.
His feet still very much enjoy fighting with gravity.
Actually, the entirety of the Hale pack didn’t look at Stiles any differently after he was spat out from a carbon copy of himself. Erica and Boyd didn’t really take much convincing on the matter. After helping save Erica’s life and she called him a pretty good Batman, their friendship was set. Boyd also forgave him for shoving a flare in his face while he was trying to save him from drowning. And you know, saving his girlfriend and all that. So, the Betas love him.
Isaac?
Well, Isaac is a whole different situation. Not in the sense that he was angry at Stiles or didn’t trust him any longer. It was more so the fact that he’d been a part of pulling the wolf out of the metaphorical freezer- Isaac hiding under the bed while tripping balls on wolfsbane. That he now looked to Stiles when he needed someone to talk to. Isaac became closer to him than anyone else. Closer than Scott had once been and they’ve known each other since they were five. The Alpha couldn’t look past the Nogitsune killing Allison while wearing Stiles’ face.
But Isaac could. Because he knew that despite his crush on the late huntress, it wasn’t Stiles’ doing. Not his best friend whose bed he curls in after having a nightmare about his father. Not the boy who after he crawled out from under the bed and cried, held the wolf for as long as he needed. Consoled Isaac like an actual pack member. The thought never even occurred to the wolf. Not a single thing changed between them.
Well, actually, one thing did. The minor crush that Stiles formed on Isaac shortly after becoming friends with the guy got so much worse. Because it wasn’t a one way street. Whenever Stiles had a restless night remembering everything the Nogitsune put him through, the fox would make the short trip down the hall and into Isaac’s room. Curling up with the wolf until sleep finally found him.
At least he stopped trying to hide it. In the beginning, Stiles gave Isaac as much space and time as needed after they all hopped on the road to leave Beacon Hills- his father practically insisted Stiles go with them. Derek was now a true Alpha from selflessly sacrificing his powers to save Cora. Knowing he’d be more than protected, the sheriff loved the idea of his only son getting as far away from whatever the hell was wrong with his home town.
The best part? Aside from living with your crush and best friends? Pack nights. They all have their own spaces, things they do for themselves. And sure, they spend a lot of time together simply existing. But there’s just something different about doing it for the sake of being together. Who wouldn’t love a good, old fashioned puppy pile? No one. Everyone loves that shit. Most of all Stiles, a fox who didn’t think he’d be able to fit in with a bunch of wolves. He didn’t forget Noshiko’s warning that wolves and foxes tend to not get along. But that couldn’t be farther from the truth when it came to them.
They’re family through and through. Taking care of each other and loving one another unconditionally. The way it should be.
“Did you pick a movie yet?” Erica asks, plopping on the couch beside him, throwing her legs in his lap. The she-wolf’s purple fuzzy socks nudge his thigh.
Flicking through Netflix, Stiles sighs, “no, not yet. I’m certainly open to suggestions,” he says loud enough for the rest of the house to hear him. Isaac’s in the kitchen with Derek grabbing drinks while Boyd is paying for the pizza. The fox has been scrolling through their streaming services for what feels like hours and nothing is sticking out to him.
“We could finally rewatch Hemlock Grove,” Boyd offers, setting the boxes down on the coffee table. “It’s been a while, and Derek's been asking about it,” the wolf shrugs, scooping Erica up to place her in his lap, kissing her cheek.
“Yeah,” the fox huffs, “I’d thought about that too. Then I looked at it and saw most of it play in my head and lost interest.”
Isaac scoffs a laugh behind him, “of course you did,” stealing the controller from his hands and replacing it with a mountain dew. Before Stiles can let out a noise of annoyance, the wolf hops the back of the couch to squish himself into the corner next to him. “We’ll watch this,” he says, clicking on Love, Death, and Robots. The new season came out recently and Stiles has been dying to watch it. “No objections? Perfect,” he sets the controller down and nuzzles into the fox’s arm.
“I do,” Derek huffs, balancing the rest of the drinks in his hands. “I didn’t realize you offering to help meant you’d get only Stiles a drink and leave me to carry the rest.” The Alpha sits down in his massive recliner, tossing the rest of the drinks to Erica and Boyd. And Isaac. The wolf didn’t even grab his own.
“Shit,” Isaac mutters, looking at the green can in his lap like he didn't realize he didn't have one. “I’m sorry, Derek.”
Erica cackles seeing his own drink get handed to him, “aww, poor baby had to make sure his boyfriend had a drink.”
“What?” Stiles mumbles, teeth resting against the tab of the soda can. He likes Isaac, that much is obvious. He hasn’t tried to hide that fact for a long time. The fox will even blatantly flirt with Isaac, but it’s never gotten him anywhere. The wolf will smile or sometimes fire a compliment back. But that’s all there is to it. Isaac never pushes for more.
“He’s not my boyfriend,” the wolf in question grumbles, forcing his eyes to look at the screen and nowhere else. Watching the jeweled and gold clad woman scream at the soldiers.
“Bullshit,” Derek laughs. Honest to god laughs. “Do either of your beds smell like just yourself?”
“Hey-” Stiles starts to defend the matter. That none of their beds smell like just themselves. They all cuddle with one another. That’s not news to any of them.
But Isaac was already talking, “it’s not like yours does either. Is it so wrong that I help my best friend to come down from a nightmare? No, it’s not.”
Exactly! Isaac doesn't have feelings for him. A fact that Stiles is more than aware of. He’s all for teasing each other, but at least have it be a tease with some backbone to it. A little meat. Something more than just a baseless jab.
“Yeah, sure, that’s the only reason,” Boyd shakes his head with a smile, reaching to grab a slice of pizza.
“Aww,” Erica squeals, “look at you, Is, you’re so red! It’s cute!”
No he’s not. Stiles' eyes drag to the wolf and holy shit- Isaac’s blushing. Why the fuck is Isaac blushing? It takes longer than it should, Stiles can admit that. But every single cog clicks into place. Isaac only got him a drink, not even his own. Smushed himself beside Stiles when there was a perfectly good, unoccupied loveseat that he’d have significantly more room on. The way Isaac is still avoiding looking at him despite saying there’s nothing going on. The wolf put on a show that Stiles has been wanting to watch. And the beautiful, dark red staining Isaac’s cheeks and ears.
“Holy shit,” Stiles breathes out. “Holy fucking shit!” The fox flails, Erica’s legs curling out of his lap and into Boyd’s. He sets his soda on the table, turning to face the wolf. “You like me, don’t you?” Stiles smiles through the accusation.
“No,” Isaac’s eyebrow ticks as his heart stutters in his chest.
Stop it.
“Lie!” Boyd joins Erica in her cackling.
They all heard it. Isaac not doing a very good job of controlling his heartbeat. Blatantly lying to a room full of supernatural creatures like they wouldn’t have heard it.
“You actually have feelings for me,” Stiles nearly scoffs, eyes wide and jaw nearly on the floor. This can’t be real.
Isaac finally makes eye contact with him, stating matter of factly, “I’ll kiss you right now to prove I don’t feel anything for you.”
“Do it then,” Erica challenges without missing a beat. “We’re waiting.”
Stiles laughs for a second- hang on. What? Isaac just said he’s going to kiss him. How- who- what? How is that going to prove anything? Honestly, how is that going to do anything but hurt Stiles? Kiss him just to flat out say that you don’t like it. That’d do a lot more harm than good. Surely the wolf isn’t that cruel, right? But, there’s nothing more that the fox wants than to kiss Isaac. And maybe, just maybe, he’s being selfish in agreeing. Maybe once will be enough for him. A taste of what he's wanted for so long to stave off the craving.
“Yes, please,” Derek chuckles, “I really need to see how kissing him is going to prove anything. Well, other than the fact that you’re a bad liar,” the Alpha teases more.
When did Isaac get to his feet? Stiles gulps, looking up at the wolf holding his hand out for him. Isaac seems so sure of himself. Standing with his shoulders set and his chin inclined ever so slightly. Like he’s challenging himself too. Or maybe the fox, daring Stiles to make him feel something. Steeling his heart, the fox takes Isaac’s hand, rising to his feet.
Isaac cups his jaw, “you okay with this?” He asks, gently pulling Stiles closer.
Swallowing thickly, the fox nods, “y-yeah. You?”
“Absolutely,” Isaac confirms, free hand grabbing the fox’s waist and pulling their chests flush. The wolf leans down and presses their mouths together and Stiles forgets how to fucking breathe. It’s a total cliché, but there are one hundred percent stars bursting behind his lids right now. Isaac isn’t much better off, growling through a whine around the kiss, deepening it to suck on Stiles’ bottom lip.
But Stiles can’t push this farther than necessary, as much as it pains him, he tries to pull away. The hand on his waist falls to his hip, gripping tightly, preventing his movement.
Before the fox can make a noise in question, Isaac whispers, “don’t.” The wolf is panting into his mouth, not allowing him to back up even an inch. “Don’t you dare pull away from me.”
Stiles can’t even bring his eyes to open, whispering, “but you said-”
“Fuck what I said,” Isaac rumbles in his chest, crashing their mouths together again, swallowing the fox’s sound of surprise. Stiles melts into the wolf, happily opening his mouth to let Isaac slide their tongues together.
“Get a room,” Erica cheekily jabs behind them.
Stiles and Isaac chuckle into their kiss, the fox reaching behind him to flip her off.
“Seems like all you did was prove the opposite with that kiss,” Boyd laughs warmly.
“I’m sorry,” Isaac murmurs into the fox’s mouth, brushing their noses together. Promptly scooping him up and settling Stiles in his lap on the couch. “I guess we were such great friends, I’d rather suffer in silence than risk losing that if things ended messy. I should’ve said something sooner,” Isaac rubs his nose along the crook of the fox’s neck.
“Yes, you should’ve,” Stiles agrees, reaching for the wolf’s hand and smiling when Isaac laces their fingers together. “But I’ve got you now, right?”
“Damn right, pretty boy,” Isaac kisses his cheek. “Don’t worry, I’ll absolutely make it up to you later,” the wolf rumbles in his chest, squeezing Stiles’ waist.
He’s more than looking forward to it.

Prompt: Banished
Stiles nodded and went to move his feet but Theo simply lifted Stiles’s feet, sat down, and let them rest on his lap.
“Who?”
Scott,” Stiles replied in barely a whisper.
“So, forever?”

Now that it's been nearly a week since the finale aired on the main channel, I can finally fully talk about Valerie's interview. Obviously, I'm going to go through it bit-by-bit soon, but something I want to point out first and foremost is how apt and spot on Valerie's description of Allison is.
In the interview, Valerie describes episode 1 Allison as 'self-centered' and 'mired in her own drama'. For those who might not know what that mean, I looked up the definition so you don't have to (because yeah, I didn't know, oops). Mired means to be 'stuck' or 'caught', making it the perfect word for episode 1 Allison. She is stuck in her own drama. She's living the TV drama life where everything is dank and gray and nobody ever wins. Where even when she tries to do something nice for herself, it never works out without any strings attached. Contrast that to the TV sitcom life her husband is living in which consequences just seem to pass him by. He can trap people in his basement, set light posts on fire, steal street signs, and even shoot someone, and have absolutely no negative consequences befall him. We're talking about a man who ate a key because he couldn't handle the possibility that he's an idiot.
Season 1 Allison is very stuck in a drama, since 'I want to kill my husband' is a very TV drama kind of plot. Even more than that, Season 1 Allison is self-centered. When people think 'self-centered', they usually imagine someone who's arrogant, or narcissistic, possibly cruel to those around them, but that's not entirely right with Season 1 Allison. She's self-centered in that she doesn't think about anyone outside of herself. She's so trapped in the plan to kill her husband that she doesn't think about the consequences for other people.
In Season 1, what harm did she cause? Off the top of my head, she lost Patty business, contributed to an assault that put Patty under suspicion, put even more strain on Sam and Jen's marriage, pushed Nick into losing a job he just got, which in turn caused him to speed up his timetable on killing Kevin, which then got him put in a coma. And might I remind everyone that the only reason she was even visiting Nick in the hospital in season 2 was because she was afraid he would wake up and tell everyone about her involvement.
Season 1 Allison wasn't paying attention to anyone else because she was too focused on what was happening to her. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it could have gotten someone she cared about in serious trouble. Another quick reminder that she specifically told Patty that she was going to put the heavy drugs in a burger she was making for Kevin, and then, without telling Patty, proceeded to leave that same burger where Kevin would find it with Patty's name on it (or possibly just with the implication that it was from Patty). Remember, the audience got to see Patty's reaction to Kevin eating the burger, not Allison. The audience were the ones privy to the information that Patty wholly thought Allison would frame her for murder.
Valerie describing Allison as self-centered is true because in the way Valerie clearly meant it- Everyone who read the article obviously picked up on what Valerie meant, but still- she really was self-centered. She was stuck in her own drama. It wasn't until she had conversations with Neil, Sam, and most importantly, Patty that she realized how self-centered she was and actually set out to try fixing that part of herself.
Part of Allison's story in season 2 was about not being as self-centered and seeing things from other people's points of view, especially Patty's. She didn't need self-worth or self-confidence to get away from Kevin in season 1 because she- and we as the audience- knew that it wouldn't be enough, not with how absolutely Kevin had wrecked her life to keep her dependent on him. She just needed to look at the damage she was leaving in her wake, have that conversation with Sam about how she hasn't changed a single bit, and realize that everything she's done since Kevin broke that table was causing other people harm. She was causing people harm the same way Kevin always has.
Just like Sam realized he was a lot like Kevin, Allison realized she was like Kevin in some ways and she needed to fix that for herself. That's why, when Kevin gave her the police documents, Allison stayed in the sitcom after he left. Because it was finally her own time to wake up and realize what was going on. She returned to the drama the second she threw the docs on the table and her immediate next course of action? "I'll fix it."
It's just such a good way to describe such a complex character as Allison even though it was still in that subtle 'use your intelligence to understand it' way that Valerie put into the rest of the show.
As I said, I'll be going through the rest of the interview, especially the significance of the portion on Neil, Patty, Sam, and what the interview means for Pattison. I just really needed to spill how actually brilliant but lowkey Valerie is when it comes to her main protagonist. Because let's be honest. There are plenty of people who got defensive, protective, and offended when they read that part for the first time. I don't even blame them, but looking at everything around that statement is a clear indication of what Valerie meant.
Anyway, I'm off to draft the next post. Thanks for reading!
(I also promise I'll make sure I spell Neil's name correctly in the post about him, since I've probably be spelling it wrong this whole time.)

Hi I just saw that you said we could send you spacegravity prompts and I was wondering if you're ok with writing it if maybe you could do one where Luther actually acknowledges what Allison tried to do to him and tells Sloane and maybe more of the sparrows are still alive
I absolutely can! Thank you for sending this, it was fun to figure out how I wanted to do it and how to include some more of the Sparrows like you requested! They don't play a huge part but they're there! I'm definitely gonna have to explore more of an AU with them alive and pestering Luther for dating their sister.
Full fic is in this post but I've also posted it to ao3 where it can be found here!
Takes place between the end of episode 5 and beginning of 6.
Do You Believe in Rumors
Tumblr media
Maybe she shouldn’t have let him go.
Sloane knew something was truly wrong with Luther after his sister had dropped that man off at the academy. The dead one. The one that was apparently important to his brother. The one who had hurt poor Jayme and Alphonso.
Sloane had been upset her siblings had been put temporarily out of commission but it was a shock to find out that Ben wanted him killed. At least they hadn’t died themselves. And the real shock was that Marcus just stood by and let it happen.
Whatever. That’s her siblings’ problem. She stopped caring about their drama when they stopped including her. They thought they weren’t obvious, as if they even cared not to be in the first place, how they shut her and her ideas down. They constantly reminded her of how she was only Number Five and to “leave the decisions and plans to the actual leaders, Sloane. We’ll call when we need you to figure out an equation or give us ideas on where we should stop for lunch.” They liked to do that. Ridicule her fantasies. She knows it’s because they think she’ll get in the way. That she’s some sort of air head. Because calling her “just Number Five” is stupid when they include Christopher more than her in their battles.
Screw them.
Luther needs help right now.
His mood had been almost unpredictable since he arrived at the academy the night before. All anger and heat when they slept together. Sloane pretended not to notice. She allowed herself to be the person he could find peace in, and he had calmed down within minutes of being in her arms. It made her feel special that he allowed himself to be so vulnerable. But there were still things he was hiding.
He may have calmed down in the night and cheerful by morning but things changed quickly when she mentioned not being able to hide him for forever. He had told her how he couldn’t go back to the hotel, how he had fights with his siblings. Luther had opened up to her more then, confined in her how he isn’t sure how close he is with them anymore.
And then Ben and Marcus wanted to make him a Sparrow. Their secret was out, now all of her siblings knew they had been seeing each other. But despite Jayme picking on him and Alphonso making threats, Marcus having to step in before they killed the new recruit on the spot-
Luther was happy to be included. And Sloane was happy her family was so protective over her, even if they didn’t have to be.
It was short lived because then his sister, Allison, showed up. She had the dead man. She and Luther exchanged a look that didn’t go unnoticed by Sloane… and he was quick to retreat inside.
Sloane didn’t follow him. She wanted to give him space. He said he’d had an argument or two, seeing one of his siblings after whatever happened must have been rough. He probably needed space.
Except now she couldn’t find him.
“Luther?” Sloane calls, her voice echoing in the long halls of the academy. Her room had been the first place she checked, followed by the training center, then the kitchen. So far she hasn’t had a bit of luck.
She’s got her neck craned to stare down one hall before ultimately deciding to go the opposite way, running immediately into Fei turning the corner.
“Oh Fei, I’m so sorry,” luckily she’s able to catch herself before they actually collide. But Fei still adjusts her glasses on the bridge of her nose, “you haven’t seen Luther around, have you?”
“I’m sure Marcus has already got him started on Sparrow training,” her voice regal as always, posture impeccable.
Sloane shakes her head, gaze falling to the ornate carpet, “No, I checked, Marcus hasn’t seen him. I’m starting to worry somethings wrong.”
“It’s not your-“ Fei cuts herself short, undoubtedly about to tell her it’s not something for her to worry about, that it’s the Umbrellas’ drama not hers, but she doesn’t say it, “if I see him I’ll let you know.” She lightly places her hand on her shoulder, giving Sloane a soft smile before continuing on her way.
Maybe Sloane is too harsh on her family.
Or maybe they’re actually trying to be more than civil with the looming apocalypse.
Another thing that’s on her nerves. Another reason she needs to find Luther. She feels safe with him. He’s done this whole ‘end of the world’ thing before. And she’s more terrified than she’ll ever admit.
She’s beginning to think he’s left. That she missed him while she was giving him space. Maybe he went back to the hotel after all.
But Luther would never leave without telling her goodbye. He has to be here somewhere.
And then a partially open door to a bathroom on the opposite end of the hall catches her eye.
“Luther?” Sloane tries again, only to receive no answer. She walks down the hall, closer and closer until-
She sees him.
Luther’s back is to her. He’s staring in the mirror but he’s either lost in thought or can’t see her reflection. But she can see his face.
Paired with the white knuckle grip he has on the sink, threatening to crack the porcelain under his strength, his expression is somber. A deep frown as he stares critically back at himself that makes her sad. His smile can light up a room and to witness a pure polar opposite, a look of true despair and hurt written in every crease of his face, is enough to make someone else despair.
Not only does she see the deep inhale he takes but hears his great sigh. He never takes his gaze off himself, almost as if he’s searching for something. Something he’s not finding.
Being the quiet one, Sloane has learned to pick up on things. People will say and do whatever when they think others aren’t watching and by being quiet, by being still, she’s gotten easy access to the vulnerabilities her family likes to hide.
But right now she doesn’t even have to be quiet to know there’s something clearly wrong with him.
“Luther,” She says, soft and sweetly, hoping not to startle him. She makes sure to take a step forward so it appears as if she’s just found him rather than have been watching him. She doesn’t want to betray his trust by making him think she was spying.
“Sloane!” Luther smiles, pretends as if the world is suddenly alright now that she’s here. But his expression is tired. He’s breaking.
“Hi,” she tries to return it but her own smile feels fake. He meets her in the doorway, putting his back to whatever soul searching he had been up to, as if it never happened, “I’ve been looking for you. I’m worried,” she reaches out and lays her hand on his forearm, which still seems so large no matter how used to his body she’s gotten.
“Well, you don’t have to be, nothings wrong.” Luther tucks stray hairs behind her ear, leaning in to kiss her cheek, and then walks around her to leave.
“Except there is!” Sloane tries, desperate, her heart in her throat. She’s over stepping. He’s going to hate her. He’s going to leave.
Luther stops, turns back towards her and looks almost fearful. But he’s hiding it behind that guise of being her perfect strong soldier.
“I can tell you’re not okay, Luther,” she closes the gap he created, “And I don’t like seeing you sad. I know you said you had a fight with your siblings but I can’t help but think it’s more than that. I’ve seen you argue with them,” she’s seen them fight over her, seen them argue over her family, as if they were at war, “You don’t have to talk to me but I want you to know you don’t have to pretend like it’s all okay.”
Why now does he close himself off so much? Maybe he is drifting from her…
Luther does another one of those big sighs, hangs his head, looks anywhere but at her, “I didn’t want to have to tell you,” he chuckles but it’s not funny, he’s not trying to be, “It’s kinda embarrassing.”
“Luther,” she croons, “I’d never judge you,” Sloane reaches out to take his hands in hers, holding them comfortingly tight. It’s reassuring when he squeezes back.
“You’re right,” Luther says slowly, “It wasn’t just a fight,” she hadn’t thought so, not with how he’s been acting.
Sloane nods, letting him know he has her undivided attention. Now he looks at her. Still, it seems like a challenge for him. Whatever happened must have cut deep.
“You know Allison’s rumor?”
“How could I forget?” She scoffs, only realizes how mean she had sounded when he says-
“Right, I’m sorry,”
“It’s okay,” she’s sincere on that, she’s put it behind her, “Go on,”
“Well,” he swallows, like his admission is painful to even speak. Sloane begins to think that she shouldn’t have brought it up, “Last night she used it on me,”
“Oh, Luther,”
“She made me want her,” he says it so fast Sloane almost doesn’t catch it, “I was on my way here and I guess she didn’t like that. You know… as kids we were stupid and had some sort of crush or something on each other, I don’t know, and I held onto it longer than I’d like to admit, I think because she was all I had for a really long time. But she got over it. She got married. Twice,” he laughs, like he thinks himself pathetic. Sloane reaches up to caress his cheek, soothes him while he talks, “And when I finally moved on, let myself let go of all that, I guess she wanted to act on it. Except she’s only ever acted remotely interested when it was convenient for her. I was just going to leave, I didn’t want to fight about it, but then she… then she,” he falters.
“It’s okay,” Sloane speaks softly, not knowing if she should hug him or not. It breaks her heart when she notices his eyes are beginning to water.
Luther takes a deep breath, steadies himself, holds onto the hand she has on his cheek and leans into it. “She rumored me,” he’s steadier now when he says it, as if it weren’t as serious as it really was, “I didn’t know any better, I couldn’t help it. I kissed her. And I certainly would have gone farther if she hadn’t broken it. I think, honestly, that it scared her as much as it did me.”
When he closes his eyes just for the briefest moment, long enough for an uncontrolled tear to find its way free, is when she hugs him. Sloane lets go of his hands and he looks absolutely terrified before she wraps her arms around as much of him as she can and buries her face into his chest.
Luther is hesitant but he hugs her back and she can tell how mindful he is of his strength. Still he holds onto her like a lifeline. She can even hear the shudder in his breath when he says, “I’m so sorry,”
“It wast your fault!” She insists, voice muffled by his chest.
“I know,” does he? “And I’m sorry if I was rough with you last night. I was confused and didn’t know whether to be angry or sad or-“
“You weren’t rough, I promise.”
He laughs and this time it sounds far more genuine.
“Thank you,” he mutters into her hair.
“For what?”
“For being here, and letting me talk. I don’t think anyone’s really done that for me before.”
“Luther,” she leans back but doesn’t let go, just far enough she can see his face, “You hang on to every word I say, every little detailed ramble about the places I want to see and what’s going on with my family, the very least I can do is let you open up. I'm just glad you trust me enough.”
“I could say the same to you,” he gently smooths her hair.
“I know, I promise that I’m here for you how you are for me.”
“I know,” he echoes her words with a smile, one of his real ones, “I love you for it.”
“I love you too,” Sloane means every syllable. They’ve come so far in so few days. She feels truly complete with Luther.
There’s suddenly a loud scoff from behind them that makes Sloane jump, “Ugh, gross,” Jayme, “Ben!” She shouts down the hall, “Sloane and Luther are doing PDA in the hall!”
Sloane can feel her cheeks heating up, if she weren’t wearing even the faintest bit of makeup her cheeks would surely be completely red.
“You have a room for a reason you know,” Says Alphonso, not far behind Jayme as they make their way down the hall.
Sloane and Luther separate except to still hold hands. “He’s right, maybe we should head there now,” Sloane suggests, calming down from an emotional exchange in each other’s arms sounds perfect right about now.
“Sounds like a good idea,” they’re about to head off to Sloane’s room but run into Fei before they can even take two steps.
“That’ll have to wait, Marcus is calling a meeting,” Fei strides by ever so nonchalantly.
“Guess it’ll have to wait,” Luther mutters, partly mocking her when she’s out of ear shot.
Sloane giggles, stepping on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek, “Yeah, I guess so.”
-- -- --
thank you so much again for the prompt anon! I had so much fun writing Sloane for the first time and writing Luther through someone else's pov! I'm excited to work on some more projects for them!
-reminder to those reading that I am NOT an Allison anti and this work of fiction is not written in bias to condone or critique anything that happened in the show. Instead, it fits a prompt and how I think, further, a favorite character of mine might reaction.
Thanks for reading!

KDA 19: Meantime
"When you became different," 5K began.
His breath paused, holding the smoke in longer than he would have normally.
"I knew something- I..."
Kalrick waited patiently, not rushing the stumbling words. 5K looked down, away from where his dark eyes stared.
"Do you remember Allison?"
"Your sister, yeah." She'd graduated before all of them, so his memory wasn't especially clear. But he seemed to remember her dropping by every once in a while.
"Yeah, she died."
"Oh." He re-situated the red cup in his hands, but it didn't help with any tension. "I'm so sorry. This probably isn't your first time telling me."
"It is actually. It happened when you started getting really busy, and those symbols got inked on you." He nodded at Kalrick's wrists. "You were really distracted and not around often. Didn't really have the time or emotional energy to bother you."
"I wish I could have been there for you, though."
"It is what it is." He shrugged. "But you know me. I've always had... Substance ish- issues. Allison had a blood clot we didn't know about. She hit her head and killed her pretty much instantly, nothing we could do about it."
"But you can control what goes in your body." Kalrick could already feel where it was going.
"Yeah," He nodded. "I've had addiction issues since- fuck, I don't even know how long. I started using in middle school but it didn't become a problem till later. I felt in control of the coke, acid, ecstasy. I guess her dying was all it took for it to- to go out of control. I picked up heroin."
Kalrick couldn't make eye contact with him any longer. If he had been there, been present... But he wasn't. He could've helped pick him back up. No one was there to care for him.
"I blew all my money but even that didn't stop me."
"What did?" He gestured back at him. "I mean, you're ok and still here."
"I died, Kalrick. I overdosed, and it flat lined me for over 5 minutes."
He couldn't tell if it was the smoke or the weight of 5Ks words that made his head dizzy. If he had just been there, but he wasn't.
"My brain got derived- deprived of oxygen and gave me anoxic brain injury. The dose that kicked me was laced with fentanyl, and I have permeant brain damage. Mostly just gives me tremors and concentration problems. Sometimes I lose my words."
"Damn, I don't know what to say. I've sort of jumped back in and made everything about me. If I can help at all just tell me what."
He shook his head. "You don't need to do anything, promise. Just time will help. They say you can recover for years now, when they used to think it was in the first 6 months."
"Man, but I feel like if I was around I could have gotten you help sooner."
"Don't say that, I did some disappointing things to get better. You're the one who deserved better, cause I'm the one who got help in the end. I got rehab, and you got taken advantage of"
"Then lets not think about it. We're here after all, might as well be present now."
"I can second that."
The door knocked, disrupting their conversation.
"Come on in!" 5K shouted.
Randle entered, shuffling through to where they sat.
"Smells like a hotbox in here," He coughed. "Kalrick, how did you even get here?"
"Teleported." Kalrick nodded.
"Then why can't you teleport to wherever it is you need me to take you?"
"Cause it's exhausting and thought it'd be a great bonding experience. I also can't go places alone and don't ask me to explain but only certain places are teleport-able."
"Is this what you do all day?" He gestured to 5K. "I don't think I've ever seen you go to work, which is where I just came from."
"I'm on disability, not that it's any of your business." 5K rolled his eyes.
"You're right, it's not my business. I'm just tired."
"You don't have to help if you're tired," Kalrick said. "I just thought we all were in this now. And I don't know, it feels good to hang out again. We used to research this type of stuff all the time."
"We did," Randle gazed reminiscently. "I haven't picked that stuff up in a long time though."
"There's nothing you practice? Or I don't know, work with or research?"
"Not really. Kal, I like astrology. Like, reading my horoscope or getting my palm read. Demons, spells, tarot- I liked doing that with you specifically."
"Oh."
Kalrick found himself unable to fathom this information. It seemed like that stuff was all they did together. It always seemed like Randle was having a good time and enjoying himself.
"Well," Randle crossed his arms, looking down at them. "Are we going to follow your lead or keep smoking weed on the couch?"
"I could smoke some more." 5K remarked.
"Let's get started," Kalrick gathered his bag.
"Where did you have in mind?" Randle asked.
"Honestly, I don't know which tattoo place I hit up. I was just going to go to all the nearest ones until I found the one someone named Valery works at."
"Why not just call them and ask?"
"Oh. Uh, I guess I didn't think of that."
"I guess you still have use for me after all."
"I've always had use for you. I like being around you."
He turned to the door. "Let's just get going."
But Kalrick could've sworn he saw the edge of a smile.
