I'm fully blaming my sister @soulguana for planting this seed in my brain yesterday. But consider: Ingo x Johanna (protag's mom in Diamond/Pearl)

My basic thought process for this is long, so below the cut it goes!

We'll say Dawn is the protag here for the sake of simplicity. When Dawn finishes her quest and finds all Pokemon in Hisui, she goes to Arceus and asks them to send her home. But! She asks if she can bring Ingo with her since she's certain that they're from the same time period. Arceus agrees and after saying goodbye to everyone, she and Ingo leave to return home.

They get to modern day Sinnoh and of course Dawn has a very sweet reunion with her mom. Tears, hugging, it's very emotional. Once they're calmed down, Dawn points out that Ingo still doesn't have his memories back and asks if he can stay with them for a little while until he can figure out where he needs to go. Johanna, being the kind and welcoming woman she is, agrees and even though she doesn't have a guest room, Ingo can have the futon/couch in the living room.

Ingo's stay with them goes on for a few days, then a week, then two weeks, and so on. He talks with Johanna and she helps repair his coat and hat, and offers as much help as she can while he slowly gets his memories back. They slowly start to fall for each other, but Ingo is too nervous and polite to say anything since this is Dawn's mom after all, and Johanna doesn't want to potentially make things weird between Ingo and Dawn. However, they both eventually end up talking about their feelings late one night, and they agree to talk with Dawn the next morning. Dawn is a little surprised, but she's overall very happy to see her mom happy, and she's always really liked Ingo and saw him as family anyway. So it all works out.

They go on like this for a few months as Ingo continues to get his memories back. Since he's not actively searching out clues to his memories, they come back fairly slow. But once he remembers Emmet, a lot comes flooding back to him and he realizes he has to get to Unova. He's at first worried for a second about how this could affect his and Johanna's relationship, but Johanna insists he go to Unova. She won't keep him from his brother. So, Ingo, Johanna, and Dawn take a flight as soon as possible over to Unova to get to Emmet.

Once there, Ingo decides to head to the subway first. Johanna and Dawn agree to give him some time alone with his brother, so they go sightseeing. Ingo makes his way to the subway and realizes that Emmet is on the Doubles line. He challenges the Doubles line and hides part of his face somehow (scarf? hat? high collar? idk) since he's not yet ready to make his reappearance known to everyone there just yet. Emmet is more important.

He quickly makes his way through the Battle Subway until he reaches Emmet. Cue brotherly reunion with tears and hugs and apologies and reassurances. Ingo explains what happened as best he can and Emmet listens and tries not to ask too many questions even though it's all verrry confusing. By the end of his explanation, Ingo then comes to the part where he has been living in Sinnoh for the past few months while his memories slowly returned. He then awkwardly explains that he now has a girlfriend. Emmet is at first verrry shocked about this, but then he adds that he's dating Piers from Galar (cuz this is my story, shut up, I'll ship Emmet and Piers all I want). Anyway, both brothers are very happy for each other and Emmet calls off for the rest of the day as they track down Johanna and Dawn so that Ingo can introduce them to Emmet.

Also, at some point when Johanna and Dawn are not around, Emmet teasingly says, "So my brother likes milfs, huh?" Much to Ingo's embarrassment.

But anyway, I just think this is a cute ship cuz it's Ingo getting to love this wonderfully supportive and kind woman, and Johanna gets this very caring and polite man, and Dawn gets to have Ingo as her stepdad! Johanna learns to love again after whatever happened to Dawn's father (died, or he left, or who knows?) and Ingo gets this wonderful family and it's just all sorts of fluff. Also Emmet gets to make milf jokes.

he would always make sure to include you. that was including his live streams that he would have often. you hated showing your face to thousands of people and even speaking to them freaked you out.

you couldn’t understand how jack did it? your social anxiety wouldn’t allow this to happen. jack was currently going live as you laid on his bed.

Happy New Year babes!!!! I hope you all had a great new year's and were safe! I'm so excited for this new year and to grow my account. I am going back to school next week, so the requests are going to come out slowly, but I am writing them. I will try to post once or twice a week but I no promises <;3 I love you all so much and thank you so much for your support it really means so much to me.

You didn't know who Ethan was before your junior year in high school. both of you got paired up for a science project and ended up hitting it off and became close friends.

Chad would try to get Ethan to ask you out, he would be sad for weeks after you both finished the project, unable to see each other after classes had changed.

After a fight with some jock, you saw him hanging outside trying to clean up the cuts on his face, you would end up helping him and get to talking.

"Listen Ethan I actually wanted to ask you if you wanted to go out sometime." he would just stare at you in disbelieve, he'd be smiling so much the cut on his cheekbone started to bleed again.

From there on it was official you were in a relationship with him, he would always meet you up after school take the long way home just so he could be with you longer.

After a few months there was a change in how he was acting, you also noticed something different about him but couldn't put your hand on it.

This weekend it was longer due to some holiday and you, and Ethan had planned to spend the entire weekend together watching Star Wars and building Legos, but Ethan's mind had been so wrapped up in his new actives that he forgot.

Crawling through his window he heard his aunt talking, but he also heard another voice, and it was yours. His heart beating faster, just hearing your voice has that effect on him.

But thinking about your voice distracted him from realizing you were walking to his room, once he saw the door handle move panic set in.

Quickly he fell from the ceiling and grabbed a blanket but tripped himself in the process. "Ethan? when did you get home?" and before you both knew it you were holding the blanket while he shot up holding a hand to your month to stop you from yelling.

"Please, don't say anything! My aunt doesn't know yet you can't tell anyone!" his voice was harsh yet soft and scared. He was scared with how you were going to act.

"You're fucking spiderman! Holy shit! Holy Shit" you dropped the blanket and jumped into his arms. he stood there for a second confused, he eventually gave in wrapping his arms around you. feeling the warmth of your body against his. He felt safe with you.

"You have to tell me everything! and oh my god I have so many questions! but also you idiot!" you slapped him aside the head laughing but also giggling at the fact that your boyfriend is spiderman.

From there on you would help him fix his suit if he ever needed it or cover for him if a lie came back to haunt him.

Some nights he'd come to your window sharing all the details about some sandwich robbery he stopped.

There would be times where it's hard to be with Ethan, you sometimes thought he loved being spiderman than being with you. His actions spoke more than words could at times.

Bailing on date nights, sometimes right in the middle of your date. You love him and love seeing how much joy he gets out of helping others, but it also takes a toll on your relationship.

After an argument about how you felt he bailed out on you not wanting to say something he'd regret.

Things just got harder from there, you both agreed that you'd be better off apart, but you both lied to yourself.

Ethan thought it was better only to keep you safe from the criminals, and you thought it was all stupid. Knowing spiderman is who he is but he's also Ethan Landry the love of your life.

Soon things would take a turn for the worst as one of his enemies found out your importance to spiderman. Kidnapping you and using you as a pawn to trap him.

Ethan's heart would break seeing you in so much pain, even after trying to leave you to keep you save it did nothing. there you sat in front of him after he fought the villain. He didn't know what to do.

Male and female Barca players are now playing at the same time as females are getting recognition in the football industry. Pedri and reader (who is a three time ballon d’or winner and two time golden girl winner for Barca) start fooling around, to which reader ends up pregnant. When she finds out she doesn’t tell anyone and keeps the secret for two months (she is still playing, since she’s really good she able to make sure she doesn’t hurt herself or the baby). Pedri decides to go check up on her as well as to see if she’s ok, since she’s been really quiet at practices and everyone noticing that she’s not her usual happy self. She then tell him the news (despite thinking he would reject the baby, since he says he doesn’t want a relationship and doesn’t really want kids) however, she gets the opposite reaction and the support from him, as well as him scolding her for playing two months straight despite being pregnant. Two years later they are at the Barca stadium (idk if it is called camp nou or not, however you can name it the original) celebrating her and his champions league win and they tell the world the two little angel they have and play with their kids, as well as everyone pointing out her ring on her finger.

You knew what you were getting into when you felt his lips collide with yours for the first time; you knew he didn't want a serious relationship, both of you so young with only twenty-two years.

P whole life ahead, your whole career in front of you and it all crashed down when you saw that little stick with the words pregnant on it.

You laughed, you screamed and you cried.

You didn't wanted to give up on football not when it has finally broke the stereotypes and women could train and workout along the men team, both being treated as equals by everyone, media, fans and galas.

You broke the stereotype when you won two years in a row at the age of twenty, a Balloon D'Or Femení and two years before that, two Golden Girls, all of them at the club of your dreams, FC Barcelona. You, along your teammates were and are inspiration to the little girls who liked football and wanted to be like you when they got older.

You had so much to achieve... And you got pregnant. And best news, you weren't in an established relationship with the dad of your baby.

And the baby daddy was none other than Pedro González López, better known as Pedri, number 8 of the Barça's male team and also the 21 of the Spanish team. The man, who everyone loved, screamed and prayed nothing that bad happened to him.

He was also starting his career and you couldnt do that to him. If you had to stop your career, then it would be just yours, because youre not as selfish as youd like to be and neither wanted to make him choose, mostly because you wouldnt like to hear how he would choose his career over a few hook ups that ended up badly. He wasnt ready to settle down, he said it himself. And nothing can tie down anyone.

Thats how you hided it, you didnt tell anyone; not even to your best friend, that you were expecting a little one, especially because you didnt know how people would react and because you wanted to enjoy the little time you had left for football before your belly became noticeable and force you do some motherhood leave.

But as a result, you started distancing yourself from your teammates, from the guys of the male team, shutting every hang out down and just being in your own little world. Which you didnt know but it grabbed a certain Canario's attention.

"Aitana" Pedro called "Is everything okay with Y/L/N?" He looked towards where you, Ronald, Lewy and Mapi were training.

The brunette girl shrugged her shoulders "I really don't know, Pedri. She has been in her own world, we try to talk to her but she backs out again and again"

Pedri sighed heavily, he hated seeing you like this. Truth is, you have been too busy pushing everything and everyone out that you were also pushing him out, when in fact, he had missed you deeply the past few weeks and he longed to see you, spend some time with you just chatting or making a new recipe you wanted to give a try.

He was comfortable with you, he loved being around you and the first week you haven't reached out for him, he was confused but let it go thinking you needed some alone time, still he kept on texting you. And when he saw you didn't replied his messages, didn't answered his calls and made no attempt to look out for him, he started to feel his chest heavy and soon he got the news you had left Spain because of a family emergency.

Now that you were back, he tried to talk to you but you kept on getting away and with your guys's busy schedules, he hasn't been able to make the effor he would like to do.

"Training's done! We can go home now and girls, good luck on tomorrow's match!" Pedro heard your coach said as all of you smiled and thanked his support. You inmediately went to the girls bathroom so Pedro couldn't chase you and when he was done with himself you were already gone.

And that night you girls won, Pedri along his brother watching you with a long smile on their faces. Pedri told his brother he would get down to congratulate all of you girls when he saw you getting out of the changing rooms

"Y/L/N!" You freezed when you heard his voice and then picked up your pace making Pedri follow you "Wait, I need to talk to you!" Eventually he catched up on you "Hola"

You stayed quiet just looking at him

"How are you?" Nothing "You did great today" Still nothing "Is something wrong? I've been trying to contact you but you keep on distancing yourself. We all have noticed, we are worried, I'm worried Y/N, we were good one day and the other-"

"I'm pregnant" You said cutting him off

"What?"

"I'm pregnant" You repeated "and it's yours" Now it was his turn to not say anything "That's why I have been distant, I'm trying to get my head around it and I know you may not want it but I'll keep it and you don't have to worry about it, if you don't want to... Like... I know you aren't ready to settle down and a baby is a huge responsability and I know you don't have feelings for me in that kind of way" You laughed nervously "I have been trying to know how to say this to you since well you're the father of the baby but I totally understand if-"

Now it was his turn to shut you up, however he did it differently.

You were shocked when you felt his lips on top of yours and his arms around your body bringing you into him.

"Gracias" He said smiling "Making me a dad, you're incredible, bonita!" You were confused "What were you thinking tho? Playing football around while being pregnant? You know what could happen if you get fouled or something?!"

"I-"

"Y deja de decir tantas locuras" (And stop saying nonsensed things) He whispered against your lips "We'll be parents" He pecked your lips once again "And a little thing, I have been in love with you for a long time now" You smiled

"I don't want to tie you down or pressure you with this, two months ago you weren't sure about having a baby until you were twenty-seven!"

"Number over here, another number over there, it doesn't matter anymore. We'll have our baby, together. Like a couple if you want"

You smiled "Of course I do" He smiled

"Then I'm glad you had THE greatest performance ever because that will be your last one for now"

"Ni de coña, Pedro. I still have more months to go before baby gets bigger"

... TWO YEARS LATER ...

"Barcelona, winners of the Champions League!"

"Both, female and male team have outdone themselves for this; bringing to the Camp Nou, not only both LaLiga's, Copa del Rey and la Reina but also Champions League. What a season!"

"Ready for the show, bonita?" Your fiancé, Pedro asked you with a smile on his face as he held Alba on his arms as you held, Matías. You smiled at your twins and at your fiancé.

"Ready"

You both got in line with your respective teams to step into the Camp, both kids in each others arms. You were presenting your babies to the world after two years and not only your babies but also your relationship with Pedro.

You had to fake an injury to be able to do your motherly leave and not be pressured by the media constantly, having a whole year off, doing some training at home and dribbling with Pedro in your backyard. You were back this season and you still got it, helping your team win three titles in a single season.

It was a bit hard with the kids and the travelling from both sides but you made it work always. And no one suspected a thing.

Until now.

You received congratulations from both teams and your staff while headed to do some interviews with your babyboy whilst Pedri was with your babygirl. Both kids had a respective parent jersey number and both of your last names together.

Questions were thrown left to right but you didn't answered the ones about your private life or baby's like their names, people can guess. After a long while of press (The one where you received a lot of praise for your looks now in motherhood and for your crazy skills at football), you were able to reunite with your lover and babygirl.

"It was a craziness" He said making you laugh as you peck his lips

"It was but nothing we can't handle" You say and he laughs nodding when Matías started to fuss as his eyes were glued to the ball "¿Jugamos, mi vida?" (Wanna play, my love?)

"Si" He said smiling at you as you left him on the floor and soon Alba was groaning too

At the end of the day, everyone, fans and those who weren't fans, were going crazy at the amount of content they were getting with their now favorite couple and family.

I HAD A THOUGHT.

So i've been thinking about possible Watcher powers, and one that keeps coming back to me is them being able to see the future. (Cause Watchers, eyes, SEE, idk seemed like it fit)

So i was thinking about this and starting thinking about the crazy butterfly effect in all the life series seasons, but esspically 3rd Life, where Grian playing that prank on Scar basically made him win the series.

So, what if, the Watchers saw what this prank would result in, so they sort of guided him to blow Scar up, because they wanted their little Watcher baby to win.

I might be mischaracterizing Her, but i feel like She's not as strict about the rules as the other Watchers, and might throw in a little spice so Her son could win his first game. Or She didn't actually know that the prank was going to result in Grian's victory and just guided him to do it for a little bit of chaos.

i dont think Watchers can see the future necessarily, they more so.... Create it ? They guide the way into their planned futures. Theres not really a ~free will when they're around pulling the strings to make things go their way, but its really for the good of everyone involved, they know better.

While She isss a little softer with rules, messing with the games is a huge rule ! Can't do that ! Watchers cannot touch the games. She would not get in trouble for breaking a rule within a game, Grian would. (And either way the game goes, I think She would be happy, he wins ? Her little champion ! If he loses, thats okay hes safe here at home !)

Watchers don't guide the games, they're strictly for fun, for training, for eating. Their little ecosystem jar...

aside from making more sense geographically (bc I always wondered why there would be a portal sending peter to gotham when new york still exists in the DCU) the titans would overall be better for him to team up with, peter would respect them way more than bruce lmao and they’d be way more open to helping him return home

i agree!! the titans tower is the place 2 be. i know im like a Roy Person™ but i think he and peter would get along like… really really well. partially because peter’s always had a chip on his shoulder about being taken seriously because of his age and reputation and that’s something roy is uniquely able to relate to, but also cause roy is just generally really good with younger heroes? idk

i think there could be a fun interaction where peter gets to see that other young people with great power took on responsibility to protect the world, regardless of personal circumstance. esp cause like we have the champions and young avengers and stuff now, but peter was decidedly on his own for most of his run as a teenager. to my knowledge, his peers were adults. seeing an organised group who continue to mentor and raise younger heroes would be really interesting from his perspective!

roy is an obvious choice, but i think both karen and vic would also be good characters for him to meet — karen for bugs, and vic for the experience of being transformed into something different. i do think dick’s pushed as the dc spiderman just to make him more like…. quilt and less dynamic, but there are a lot of parallels to their origins (both encounter the killer who murderers their loved ones before the fact, but ultimately cannot do anything to stop it)

i also think the idea that bruce would want to adopt peter in the first place is a massive exaggeration of how trigger happy bruce is about adopting children lmao. additionally, like, would peter want to kick back with a buncha yuppies in jersey? nay. let him stay in new york and hang out with lian and maybe kick slade off a roof

Okay so uh, I know that the post I'm gonna reference is more than a year old, but I just discovered your blog and I went on a binge and, well...

The Dragon Au Part 2? The one with Sky (along with the other boys, but I'm focusing on Sky)? Where you said that Sky would probably never tell his S/O about him being a dragon despite the trust he has in his S/O?

It's just...so sad! 😭 So, if I may, could I request a fic where Reader (who is, or wants to be, Sky's S/O) finds out that Sky's a dragon?

Maybe he accidentally shifted during battle, or maybe one of the other Links accidentally let slip that all of the Chain (and, therefore, Sky) are dragons? I'm not quite sure about how Reader would find out, but they do; cue them crying to another Link (probably Time, bc he's The Dad™) or even Sun, and Reader admits that they feel like they're a terrible person bc surely they did something to make Sky not trust them, right...? And Reader asks for advice on what they can do to make up for whatever Bad Thing they did, and how to be a better friend to Sky, etc. etc.

I don't like angst if it doesn't have a happy ending, so idk how to end it on a happy note; maybe Sky talks to Reader about it all & they "kiss & make up" (either figuratively or literally lol)?

IVE BEEN WANTING TO WRITE THIS EVER SINCE I TOLD PINKY ABOUT IT.

Typically you were stay away from battles if anything you were learning how to fight. In this battle though your back was towards a cliff and the monsters were blocking your way into the forest which is where you normally hide. Well… This was a particularly bad situation to be in. You duck and tried to weave through but each time you tried to you almost get hit. Luckily Sky was staying by your side for a bit to fight the monsters off. Though the chain was truly outnumbered.

Not to be a downer but you think they might need a miracle.

Then it happened.

A Lizalfos got a fairly lucky shot at you right in the shoulder. The impact knocked you back off your feet and stumble back.

Right.

Off.

The cliff.

It was weird. You didn’t scream. But something did. It was loud and it felt like the air was full of electricity. In a blink of an eye a black plop swooped down heading towards you. When the blur finally crashes into you whatever it was brought you into its arms and pulled up. “Keep your eyes close.” You hear Sky whisper in your ear, you didn’t even know that your eyes had been closed the whole time. It’s not like you’re going to open them now. Especially with a warning like that.

There was a lot of screaming not just from the boys but monsters as well. A few crashes of lightning made you flinch and hold onto Sky tighter. Slowly your curiosity had peaked and you open your eyes and glanced up at Sky.

Sky who was typically the softest person in the world looked monstrous. His eyes were sharper more snake like and Night Sky-esque scales framed his features. Giving his once soft face a fiercer look to it. It could also be the death glare he had on his face. Behind him were two bat like wings and long serpents tail that matched his scales. It would have been breathtaking if you weren’t loosing blood.

Your glaze was met with his now electric blue eyes, “put me down?” You asked as you had to force yourself to look at the others but as soon as you moved the arrow that was lodged into your shoulder made its move. A curses leave your mouth as you slump back in his arms.

Sky was about to speak but Hyrule beat him, “We should find and get camp set up. For now Let me see what I can do.” The team’s medic was in charge now as the battle had been over for a bit now. “Rancher, Champion can you scout out a better, safer place?” He leads Sky with you in his arms to be seated. When settled with you in Sky’s lap and Hyrule helping you through the process of being stitched up.

You had so many questions to ask but you honestly doubt you would get answers too. “I have a question.”

“Yes Darling?” Sky’s voice was a bit more gravely than normal.

“Are you guys…” You had not idea what to say about this situation as you would assume dragons.

“Yes.” Time said before you could find the words.

A beat passes you look up at the token father, “all-“

“All of us yes.”

“Ok…” You lean into Sky’s chest. Before something bothers you again, looking up at Time again you go to ask him something.

He just sighs “yes. I’ll explain later about how our magic work. Just focus on healing.”

You scrolled through your Rotom phone, absolutely tired from today. As nice as it was to have Battle Studies, the amount of training one had to go through to satisfy Dendra was energy draining. The only thing that made it really worth it was the amount of Experience Points that could level up any team easily.

Luckily, this period was language. Mr. Salvatore had mercy on class (no pun intended) and let a little of free time before class. So you decided it would be best to see what kinds of battle items would help your team in the Ace tournament.

“Leftovers would be good… but perhaps the Lucky Egg could level my team up faster?”

You questioned your decisions, torn between power or levels.

“Or maybe-”

Suddenly, there is a rush of footsteps, before your vision is covered. You drop your Rotom phone in surprise, the device landing with a loud CLACK! on your desk.

“Who is it?”

An energetic tone emitted from the question. You chuckle to yourself, before putting your own hands over the large warm ones.

“Hmm… I don’t know? Who’s very good at cooking, the soon-to-be famous chef?” You smile.

“I wonder?” The voice had a hint of amusement too.

“Arven, eres bien canijo!”

A giggle escaped your upperclassman’s mouth, as he uncovered his hands from your eyes. Arven bent down to hug you from your sitting position, burying his face into your neck.

“We’re best buds, of course you know who I am!”

“Why wouldn’t I? Arven, your voice is so soft just like that caring soul. Plus, those hands are rough from all that adventuring,” you tease lightly.

There was definitely a smile going on, because you could feel his lips curving upwards.

“I shouldn’t expect any less, that’s coming from a Champion,” Arven said. He looked up from his position, now resting his chin on your shoulder. “Que estás viendo?”

“Battle items. The Ace tournament is a lot harder, Nemona’s been training hard.”

Arven hummed, one of his hands traveling up to your hair. He ruffled it slightly, fingers gently caressing the strands.

“She’s not empujando te to do something, is she?” He asked.

Your stomach felt like jittery jello hearing those few words. Nemona had asked you to train with her but…

“No, of course not! She may be eager and happy someone is her rival, but it doesn’t mean she goes to those lengths! It’s nothing to worry about,” you manage to muster.

Arven pondered about the answer for a minute or two, before taking himself off you.

He waves at you with a happy aura painting him. You smile to yourself: Arven reminded you of a joyful puppy.

A puppy that hadn’t seen light in a decade or so, ever since Turo died. Ever since Mabosstiff got injured.

You didn’t mind the way he held you especially close. After all, he had suffered through so much, the least you could do was stay by his side… right?

Well, that joy only lasted for so long. You froze as you heard the seat right beside you creak, someone sitting in it. They placed their items near yours, giving you a slightly warm smile.

Your eyes went wide, before frantically shaking your head, hoping they would take the hint. Thankfully for your classmate, Mr. Salvatore walked in.

You tuned out the usual greeting from him, responding with a slightly grim “Oui.”

Class seemed to take ages, replaced by the shakiness of your body. Even though Pikachu was here as well, the Pokémon’s usual cheerful “Pika!” exclamations.

Hopefully this person would ignore you and take the hint you didn’t want anything to do with them. That you wanted them to get away as soon as possible, never approach you once again. The thought of what would happen…

Before you knew it, the bell rang. Mr. Salvatore audibly gaped at the bell, before shaking his head. He muttered a few things, before baring them a slightly cheerful “Adieu!”

You quickly tried to gather your items, fear settling into your stomach. The least that could happen was a minor injury but even so…

“Y/N! Hey, you got any plans?”

Arceus. This couldn’t have gone any better could it?

“Um, I guess not?” Your breath was shaky, but you managed to pull the simple response together.

“Wanna train with me and my group? We really admire you, and would like-”

A flinch was forced from your natural instinct, as a hand planted firmly across your shoulder. You could feel a menacing aura behind you, and inhaled deeply.

“Sorry. They have plans with me already.”

Arven’s usual gentle voice, forced a deeper tone. You couldn’t see his eyes, yet knew they were already forming to slits. The usual calm gleam was storming in his eyes.

“Y/N, is that true?”

You knew better by now than to deny any lies, because they were going to be true.

“Well yeah, me and Arven planned on going out for a while, going for ice cream.”

“Ooo! Can I go with you?”

“Absolutely not,” Arven piped up.

You and your classmate look at Arven in wide eyes. He had never spoken up in conversations, other than holding a protective hand over you.

“What’s it to you?”

“It’s a date. And by the way, we’re not including you for a threesome,” Arven rolled his eyes.

“Then how come I’ve never seen you with them? Prove it right here and right now,” your classmate insisted.

“What do I need to prove? You don’t believe me?” Arven asked.

Confusion filled your mind. How was your upperclassman going to prove that? It wasn’t easy to convince someone that you’re dating the Champion, currently No.1 in the region-

You looked up, only to see a slightly smiling Arven, who turned his gaze at you. You felt a hand suddenly grab your chin, firmly holding it, before tipping it slightly upwards.

He slightly moved forward a few inches.

“Allow me, to ‘prove’ this then?”

“You’re joking, there’s no way!”

You felt your face heat up within each movement, his face closing in on yours.

Wait, was he-?

There was an audible gasp from your classmate, and the rest of the class, who watched intensely. The Champion… with the Professor’s son?

Warm lips pressed against your cold ones, the heat transferring with ease. You faintly heard Arven murmur something, but couldn’t decipher what it was at that moment. His left hand was still on your shoulder, right one gently caressing your hair from earlier in class.

Something within you coiled tightly with embarrassment, as his tongue -wet and hot - pushed through your sweet lips, and right into your mouth.

There was no doubt a brilliant red blush was spreading from the bridge of your nose to the tip of your ears.

Arven’s tongue with no doubt was dominant enough, as you weren’t quite experienced enough with kissing. His saliva dripped from the files of tastebuds, the maneuver made with so much care. Arven clearly needed more of you to savor, yet gently explored your mouth for flavor.

As for his taste?

God, you couldn’t get enough from the spicy remnants of the Tomato berries he usually cooks with. You could remember seeing him, sitting on his bed, watching with wide eyes as he bit straight into one, juice slightly spilling to the sides of his mouth.

(“It‘s about the way you handle an extreme flavor,” Arven said.

“Handling in it that way?” You asked skeptically. “No way, a death sentence for me.”

Your upperclassman grinned at you. “Wanna try it out? I’m pretty good at least giving love to some.”

You ponder for a moment, before embarrassment fills your stomach. The realization hit you like a bat to a ball, stupidly.

“Don’t even! I would never give that a try!”)

You denied ever wanting to kiss him just for handling a flavor…

Yet here you are.

Absolutely a hypocrite wanting more, wanting to know where that hand sliding down your back was going, wanting to give the same treatment to Arven. After all, he hasn’t been loved in so long…

Arven broke the kiss off, looking into the direction where the exclamation was made me.

And boy was it embarrassing, as you turned too.

“I know we sometimes want to show affection to others,” Mr. Salvatore looked very flushed at the sight of the scene, “-but please… keep it calm for the sake of your classmates eyes.”

You were sure your face was now ruby red by now, if not, caused by the heat of the kiss too.

Arven didn’t seem too bashed by this, but his cheeks were flustered pink too. “Yes, Mr. Salvatore,” he said.

You bowed your head, face feeling as though it were on fire. Arven had just…

Just casually kissed you on the mouth? What was his logic in needing to prove something? Couldn’t you both have just pulled out a photo taken together?

Arven’s grip was still firmly in place on your shoulder. He looked back at their shocked classmates, and waved with a flashy smile.

“Is that all you needed Hirano? Not much to ask for, as Y/N is my partner after all.”

All Hirano could do was look at you with a dumb expression, mouth opening and closing like a Magikarp.

“But they didn’t-? How are you both dating?”

Arven frowned at this, reaching for your hand, grabbing it. He pulls you right against him, before leading you out of class.

Your mind can’t help but process a dozen explanations why Arven kissed you. It definitely wasn’t accidental: he was very intimate in the way he handled it. He couldn’t really be in love with you…

Right?

“Llamando me un mentiroso… cabrones van a pagar después.”

Arven murmured phrases like these as you both went up the staircase. Definitivamente no estuvo bien feliz.

“A-Arven?”

“They have the nerve to even talk to me like that, even after all that I’ve been through with their shit!”

“Arven?” You asked a little more loudly.

“Not to mention, treating you like some sort of prize… they don’t see your real beauty and personality!”

“-Arven?”

“What!?”

You recoiled at the response, as though he had hit you. Arven NEVER snapped at you, even when he was absolutely livid at someone.

“…”

He looked at you for a few moments, before realizing what he had just done.

“Y/N, I’m sorry.”

“No, it’s fine…” you murmured.

“It’s not fine.”

It was a moment before you realized you were in front of Arven’s dorm.

“Why are we here?” You interrupted the numerous mutters of apologizes.

“Que? Supongo que yo quise…”

The blush from earlier was turning a Tomato berry shade. Arven fidgeted with his backpack strap, before sighing.

“He made me jealous, alright? You’re just my little buddy Y/N, and you know I don’t like it when people get so close to you…”

“-Because you’re afraid to lose me to someone else?”

He blinked. “How did you guess? Como adivinaste?”

You decided not to point out the bunch of obvious points. Arven was adorable trying to communicate his feelings, yet delaying a confession about it because of his actions.

Not to mention, his obsession.

“Penny told me that too, since the jerks who bullied her told her she wasn’t worth it for my friendship.”

“…”

Arven didn’t say anything: he had a strange faraway look on his face. You look at him with curiosity, wondering what he was thinking.

“Well, that’s not the point here.”

“Then what is? You told me you brung me here for a reason, que es?”

“-ddle.”

“Huh?”

Your upperclassman inhaled deeply, exhaling softly. He turned away, looking at the floor.

“I want… to cuddle.”

What in Arceus!?

Arven wanted to cuddle? Did you hear correctly?

“Cuddle? As in, a sort of thing you’d do with Mabosstiff?” you asked.

There was a soft sigh. Arven didn’t wait for a reply, merely opening the door to his dorm. He beckoned for you to get inside, and you stepped in.

Of course this dorm was familiar. You had been here many times, swayed by the delicious aroma of cooking, awed by how much yellow there was, inquisitive about all the items Arven had. Especially that raincoat he had. If it weren’t obvious enough from the weather, Arven loved going out and playing in the rain with Mabosstiff.

There was a soft click! as the door closed. You took off your small backpack and set it down near the coat hanger, along with your shoes. Arven did the same, only picking up your bag to actually hang it. It was a small gesture, but certainly a kind one.

He took off his puffy jacket as well (on the coat hanger it went), only to throw his tie across the room with mere care.

“A lot hasn’t changed.”

“Except Poké Beans I got for a deal while there was an auction.”

You went over to Arven’s bed, only slightly turning a corner the wall had, containing the entrance for the bathroom.

“Even the bedsheets are the same.”

“I’m surprised que te lo memorizaste,” Arven lightly teased.

“Cállate.”

You flopped onto the bed, mainly stretching your legs, and keeping your arms tucked into your chest. After all, it was slightly cold in Arven’s dorm. He probably had the best air conditioning room in the academy.

“No Burmy talk here.”

Footsteps approached the bed, and you close your eyes as Arven’s hand runs through your hair. Arceus did it feel satisfying after a hard day at school… and all the worries that had filled your brain.

You had never mentioned Arven’s obsession with you. At first, you assumed it was because you became Champion. After all, who doesn’t like a little fame from their companion?

But you had noticed the intimate actions he took. For example, hugs completely out of nowhere, possessive behavior that drove you insane, and even a protective hand over your shoulder when someone suggested you go with them.

Without your upperclassman.

Still, he had sometimes pushed himself away for no reason, but then came back begging for attention.

What did he really want? Not to mention, merely minutes ago, he had just asked to cuddle?

“Arven?”

Arven hummed, implying to go on. The way he ruffled your hair so gently… you shook your head, trying not to sleep.

“Why?”

“Why what?”

“Why’re you being so… close? First, you kiss me to prove a point. A worthless one. Then, you tell me… you want to cuddle…”

Your face flushed at the last phrase, and you covered your face with your hands.

Silence stretched throughout the room, as the only thing you could hear was the light buzzing sound of the air conditioning. Arven stopped ruffling your hair, hand completely motionless.

“You wouldn’t understand.”

“How come?” You quipped.

Almost immediately, you wished you didn’t say those words. Arven’s hand started shaking, before it pulled away.

“I said, you wouldn’t understand Y/N. You’re so naive,” he whispered.

You lifted yourself up, looking at him. Arven was looking directly at you, his mouth trembling.

“Arven, please-”

“You don’t understand!” He suddenly yelled.

“What don’t I understand!?” You said with frustration.

“Anything about me! You don’t understand shit about me! Nor do you really care about my feelings! I know you don’t but you really pretend you do, and I hate it so much! I hate it that you don’t love me the way you do!”

You stared in disbelief at this declaration of the outburst. None of that was true! Nada fue la verdad!

“Arven, por favor!”

“I love you so much goddammit, you’re so willing to be able to care for me, so willing to hear about my problems, the light to my dark when I was lost!”

“And I know you know that I have these feelings for you! I just wish you would tell me, I’m so sick of having to show how much I care for you back! I know what’s best for you!”

“ARVEN, LISTEN TO ME!” You finally raised your voice.

He paused for a moment, his breathing hitched.

“What you’re saying isn’t true at all! I love you too, you make me feel like I’m such an important person to someone!“

You looked down at the yellow sheets, hand picking at them. Why… why do you feel like this?

Aren’t you supposed to be feeling happy and giddy telling Arven you love him? Aren’t you supposed to be over the moon knowing he’d go to any lengths for you? Then why do you have this unsettling feeling deep down?

Is this the same fear that took you over…

After that one day where he bashed Hirano’s friends skull repeatedly against the wall, until he fainted? All because of planting his hand on your shoulder?

“Y/N?”

“Do you really mean it?”

How could you?

You couldn’t reject his now said out loud declaration of love. That would be such a cruel thing to do. Arven never had love because of his family- only some for Mabosstiff, because it was his partner Pokémon.

“I-I do…!”

“…”

“Me too. I love you, I love you so much.”

“About your cuddles?” You were keen to change the love tone-

The only response you received was Arven finally swinging up his legs onto the bed, snuggling up to you. One arm wrapped around your waist, the other freely going up to caress your hair once more. He curled one leg over yours, making sure to tighten his grip.

“You’re so perfect,” he muttered.

You said nothing. Your hand reached to touch his (the one on your waist), intertwining fingers slightly.

“You deserve all the love.”

Arven nuzzled his head into your neck, his curly hair lightly tickling your ear. His hot breath spread over your body, warming you right up.

At that moment, all you could really do was go to sleep with him, drifting off with the warmth of his body right next to yours.

In the morning however, you wouldn’t be so lucky. Arven didn’t like to wake up early, and you had to stay in the cuddling position for at least two more hours.

If you ever moved, he was yank you right back into the embrace. Arven would murmur phrases in Spanish, telling you how much he wanted to do this.

How could you refuse?

Arven ached for love after all these years.

Got any body headcanons for the Links? At the moment, I see Ancestor (Skyward Sword Link) being more chubby due to his morning laziness and stamina meter.

Thank you for asking! I’ve been wanting to draw the Links’ body types for a while now :D

Ok so, I’m totally with you on the Sksw Link headcanon, though in my AU he’s a bit more than just lazy in the morning: he’s generally very lethargic and tired most of the time… Take that as you will. Edit: I am far from the first person who has characterized him that way! Just to be clear. I take a lot of inspiration from other artists and AUs.

As for the other Links!! I find Champion (Botw/Totk) very interesting to draw, because of the way I made his body change between the two games. In Botw he was leaner, in Totk he’s gained some weight, but is still muscular. And he’s the only one who’s had top surgery, I haven’t decided if it’s an age thing or a timeline thing (that the practice didn’t become a thing until Botw era??).

Rancher (Tp) is buff yadayada come get y’all’s juice I guess. Love drawing him, I feel like gives really good and strong hugs.

And Mural, aaah I adore him, I made his body somewhat inspired by myself as a young teen. Makes me happy. Idk how he feels about it though. I don’t think he cares too much about his body tbh - he does care about his appearance in terms of clothes and accessories, but body-wise? Eh.
