Staking My Claim Part 5

We are almost done just one more after this one! I thought about posting this on Tuesday to give the first chapter of the second book of Boy With a Bat some love.

But with this one literally two chapters away from being finished it didn't seem fair to postpone this one.

Once they other three were gone Jeff turned to Steve and Eddie.

“Right the real reason I’m here is because I’m going to make you two don’t jump each other before Steve is well enough.”

Steve and Eddie looked at each other and blushed.

“Yeah, that’s what I thought,” Jeff said, crossing his arms and leaning back on one foot.

“Eddie go get us some lunch and I’ll make sure Stevie here isn’t going to throw up again.”

Eddie nodded and grabbed his keys. He gave Steve a kiss on the cheek and dashed off, leaving Steve alone with Jeff.

Jeff turned on the light in the kitchen to better see Steve’s face. He held Steve’s chin and turned his head gently to the light and away from it.

“Your dilation is a little slow,” he said. “That’s not good.”

Steve nodded. “I’ve had concussions before. It feels a bit like that. The dizziness, the nausea, the pounding in my head.”

Jeff nodded. “I think I still have some anti-nausea medication and if I don’t, we can try some Pepto, okay?”

Steve nodded. “I wouldn’t have done anything,” he said softly.

Jeff raised an eyebrow. “What do you mean?”

“With Eddie,” he whispered. “Not before we got back to Hawkins, anyway.”

“Oh?”

Steve nodded again. “I’m bit too romantic for my own good. And having the chance I might ruin our first time with puking is the last thing I’d want.”

“First time?” Jeff asked over his shoulder as he went to the bathroom.

“I meant it when I licked him, he’s mine now.”

Jeff chuckled.

He came back out holding two bottles. “Looks like I have two kinds of anti-nausea meds. One is very heavy duty, so we’ll try the other one first. We don’t want to mix something heavier if the knock out drug is still in your system.”

Steve nodded.

“In fact,” Jeff muttered. “I should call my mom.”

He set the two bottles on the counter next to Steve and went to the phone.

After a brief conversation Jeff picked up the heavier medication. “She actually recommended the tougher meds to counter whatever was given to you. She even wants you to stop by on your way home so she can look you over.”

Steve blushed. “She doesn’t have to do that. I’ll be fine.”

Jeff raised an eyebrow and Steve ducked his head. “Yeah, that’s what I thought. My sister is a lot like you, you know.”

“Hmm?”

“She’s the oldest,” Jeff murmured, “so she was brought up that she had to take care of everyone else and couldn’t ask for help.”

“Oh.”

Jeff rubbed the top of his head. “Look, man. I get it, I really, really do. If your parents are as half the shit the rumor mill makes them out to be, you’ve been abandoned and neglected all your life. Somehow, someway you became the defacto older brother to the weirdest group of latchkey kids I’ve ever seen and you think you have to do everything for them because you didn’t get to have that. But thinking like that will only wear you down and out.”

“It’s hard,” Steve admitted. “They’ve been through so much.”

Jeff let out a sigh. “I get that too. You and those kids have been through some heavy ass shit. I also get that you think that because you’re the oldest you can’t tell them what you’re feeling because you don’t want to burden them.”

“You’re Robin and Nancy’s age,” Steve said quietly.

Jeff frowned, not quiet understanding the comment. Then it dawned on him. “Eddie isn’t.”

Steve’s head shot up. “What?”

“I know it’s hard to remember because he graduated with me and the other guys,” Jeff said. “But Eddie is older then you. He was supposed to graduate in ‘84.”

Steve blinked. “Oh. Yeah.”

“So lean on him,” Jeff said. “Yeah, you’re attracted to him. And you definitely want to fuck. But let him in emotionally, too. I think you’ll find he’s as a great a listener as he is a talker.”

Steve blushed.

Just then the door swung open to reveal Eddie with a large bag of McDonald’s.

“I didn’t know what you would like,” Eddie said with a grin, “so I got a little of everything I could think of.”

Steve smiled. “I’m sure I’ll find something I like then.”

They all dug in and polished off most the bag of fast food.

“Seriously,” Steve said, “why does greasy food always the best hangover cure?”

Eddie cocked his head to the side. “I don’t know. It defies all logic. You would think it would be stuff that was easy on your stomach like toast and rice would be better, but nope!”

Steve took Eddie’s hand. “Thanks for taking care of me. I appreciate it.”

Eddie blushed to his roots. “You don’t need to thank me. I just did what the next person would have done.”

Jeff snorted. “Bullshit. You went above and beyond and you know it. There is no shame in accepting his thanks. You did good, man.”

Eddie shoved his hair in front of his face to hide his embarrassment. “You’re welcome, Stevie.”

“I think you should go lay back down,” Jeff suggested to Steve. “We’ll be here if you need us.”

Steve nodded and wandered back to Eddie’s room. He closed the door and laid down, sure that he wouldn’t sleep as he had already slept a lot. But it appeared he needed it more than he thought as he drifted back to dreamland.

You may think that going from the way others walked on is the best way to go. This might be true for some cases but everybody has their own lives. Some way or other we should plan our own path. This also applies to you. You can still take inspiration from others to make your own plan but do not forget to add your own taste to it. Right now it seems like you need to approach with %70 logic, %30 emotions (as an example) to your pursuit. You have to stand in your own ground and draw your own path the way you want. Also do not forget your loved ones while you go down on your path.

It happens- as all things do with you and Austin- quickly. It comes within the two months of you telling Austin you want to make Austin a real Daddy. A daddy who can hold his child and rock it and sing it little lullabies until it grows up to be and strong like their parents. You'd think since you're a grown woman and a surprising amount of your life has become regimented in ways it wasn't after dating and then marrying Austin that you wouldn't miss your period and not notice. You wouldn't miss it one month, two months and only realize something's strange when you go to visit Austin to see his show and hiss and practically yelp in pain when he presses up against your chest. They were bigger but they always got a little bigger around your period, it was fine. But then Austin is murmuring in your ear and pressing his hand against your stomach where he can feel a firmness where there wasn't one before.

"Are you pregnant?"

That's a weird question to ask, you're due for your period any day now, you think, thinking that you're close enough to the beginning of the next month that you're due for one soon. Not that it'll be your third missed period in a row. You shake your head, "no, I'm due for it next week, I think."

Austin raises an eyebrow and presses against the firm spot, waiting for it to give only to realize it's staying firm, there's something there. "When was your last one, Dove?"

You open your mouth to answer once, twice, three times before you look down at his hand against your stomach and see how your breasts are practically spilling out of your bra and you let out a noise of delight and shock rolled into one. Your voice is soft when you answer him finally. "I don't remember."

The squeal of delight you let out and the way Austin laughs and laughs and laughs twirling you around before setting you back down so he can kiss your belly is something the cast talks about for the next week or two.

It's a flurry to try and get things rescheduled, have projects pushed back or dropped all together as your belly starts to curve outward, becoming harder and harder to hide as the weeks go by. You and Austin had made an agreement to not announce a single thing before 12 weeks. It wasn't a guarantee nothing would go wrong but it put you in a safer territory than you would be if you announced earlier. Austin argues every so often that you shouldn't make an announcement, not because he doesn't want people to know but because he's so fiercely protective over your private life with him beyond what the two of you have to show that exposing your child to this nonsense fills him with dread. He worries about the judgment he figures you'll get over having a baby like this. Worries about how if you want to book something short that people may look at your belly and realize that it's not worth it. Maxwell and Simon, your agents and managers and pseudo dads rolled into one promise to get you just one more thing even if you'll have an obvious belly for them because they care about you and your career almost if not more than Austin does.

You tell him- no, you explain to him that you can't do that, you can't go into hiding because you're pregnant. You want to be able to tell the world that you're carrying his baby, that your belly is growing because you told him you wanted a baby. This baby may not be their child, but they're your fans and what would you be without your fans? No, you have to announce it so that you can finally stop hiding in oversized hoodies and dresses tailored to hide your bump. Besides, you've been known to read the gossip blogs and the magazines while waiting for your doctor's appointments. You know very well there's theories as to what's going on and how people find it suspicious you've gone from full body shots on instagram to above the waist shots. There's theories about why you had to drop out of a film that you'd be filming while nine months pregnant and ready to pop if you did. This is the only real way to put them to rest.

"Looking forward to this little one and I having many more mother's days to come. Your daddy and I can't wait to meet you." is the caption you go with on Mother's day with Austin's hands and your hands on your stomach. The comments make you cry though if Austin asks you're only crying because of the hormones. Not because of your little Elvis family bombarding your comments with congratulations or the way any negative comments get overwhelmed by happier comments. Even Kaia and Vanessa say congratulations and you feel something in your chest loosen at the knowledge. You feel the fear that had gripped your heart deep down that whispered how you'd have to hide this pregnancy like you hide your submission to Austin- like you hid your relationships with your other doms- disintegrate and evaporate into thin air.

Austin knows the second he sees your smile and sees your response to a few messages that he's doomed, he's lost the fight of getting you to remain a little more private about the pregnancy. Truthfully he's just thankful you agree with him that the two of you are going to try your absolute hardest to keep the baby themselves out of the limelight. And - as he murmurs, cupping your growing bump one night- their three siblings. Your feed is split between promoting your new project, random other things you'd do and posts about your growing bump, your occasional sickness and how pregnancy isn't really all it's cracked up to be even when you want a baby.

It comes to a head one day when you're seven months pregnant with your big long baby that Austin felt the need to gift you with all his height genes and you're posting something about how this week has just been rough.

"I'm not speaking for everyone, obviously, and all you infertility moms can tell me I'm wrong, but for me- I'm- society gives us all some rose tinted glasses when it comes to pregnancy and from what some of you guys have told me, motherhood." You sigh, wincing as your daughter kicks your rib cage and does this somersault that has your stomach rolling and twisting. "I want more kids but- this hurts. This hurts and I feel huge and I can't breathe sometimes because they're pressing on everything and I know you guys have seen the pap photos, I can't even really hug Austin right any more."

Austin for his part knows better than to interrupt when he hears you talking to yourself and despite his better judgment waits outside your shared bedroom door until he hears words that stop his heart.

"It's selfish, I guess, but I worry sometimes that he doesn't- he isn't going to like me nearly as much when the baby comes out. We've all heard about how guys do that and Austin's but- I don't know. I'm being melancholy and that's not what you signed up for today." You lift up your shirt to show your bump as your daughter does another roll that you manage to catch on camera. "I guess they wanted to show off at the expense of mommy. You are definitely your father's kid."

When it's been silent for a few minutes and he hears you grunt in pain he finally walks inside the room to see you standing in front of the mirror, cupping your bump before running your hands over your chest. There's a part of him in the back of his head that finds the action arousing beyond belief but he sees the look on your face and sees how you're playing with your necklace as the hand that was on your breast moves up. You're so engrossed in looking at your body and allowing your mind to whisper things to you that you don't notice Austin until he's up behind you and his hands are lifting up your belly just so.

"Oh, Aus- Fuck, Daddy, keep your hands there." You moan, the relief palpable in your tone. "That feels so good, she's been-"

"Growing too fast and too big for my little Dove?" Austin's tone is light and playful has he kisses your neck, watching the two of you in the mirror. "The joys of having me as the other half of the genes. Two more months and then she's out of you and you're free until the next one."

Your jaw tenses just a little at the words. It's not that you don't want another baby but who's truly to say he's going to want you enough to make one. The silence after his joke is what makes Austin pause and has him kissing at your jaw. "What's wrong?"

Because something is wrong and you have to communicate with him, if you need something you need to tell him, that's always been the rule in your relationship. A sigh leaves your lips. "There's- you're not going to find me attractive-" you pause and try to take a breath before the first thought that comes to your mind leaves your mouth in a rush. "Elvis didn't like Priscilla after she had Lisa."

Austin drops your belly gently against your protests and turns you to face him while shaking his head, taking your head in his hands. "Dove. Don't- we're not them, remember?"

"I know that!" You practically whine before rubbing at your eyes that are quickly filling with tears. "I know we're not! I know you're Austin and I'm me but I look and feel like a beached whale and my boobs are huge and will probably sag everywhere-"

Austin places his finger on your lips before shaking his head. "I'm going to stop you right there and tell you to look down." He watches you as your eyes slide down his torso and stop between his legs. He's- he's hard just from looking at you and touching you. There's his arousal staring you in the face in his grey sweatpants and you can't help but bite your lip. It twitches a little.

"You're- Daddy."

"I'm hard. You know how I've been the bigger you get. I thought you were attractive before but carrying my baby? Watching your belly swell and seeing your boobs escape every bra you put them in? Dove, if my dick had it's way you'd be pregnant every second you could be." He murmurs, allowing his hands to slide down your neck to your chest where he gives your breasts and nipples a squeeze before sliding down to your stomach. "And when this belly is gone? When our daughter is suckling at your chest? I'm going to remember that you did this. Going to remember how my wife grew our daughter and is feeding her from her own body still. I'm going to know that you're strong and perfect. And I'm going to remind myself we have a baby schedule to stick to. That I can't just immediately put another one inside of you."

His words cause a shudder to ripple through you and Austin smirks just a little, moving his hands down lower and lower, "Dove, if I put my hand between your legs how wet is it going to get?"

You feel your breath shakily leave your mouth. "Soaked. Please, Austin-"

A kiss cuts off your words as Austin's hand slides in between your leggings and your skin, inching ever so closer to where he's ignited a fire. He pulls away just a hair and shakes his head. "Try again, lil Dove. Please who?"

The eyeroll you give him holds no malice but you can't help it even as your arousal threatens to overwhelm you. "Daddy, please."

"I'll always give my Dove what she needs," he murmurs, finally sliding his fingers inside of you with a low groan from both of you.

It's funny how after that night your sex life with Austin up until the end of your pregnancy became a little more intense. More frequent as if to reassure you any time the voice inside your head got too loud and any time every trick your therapists taught you failed. Austin loved you and there wasn't a single doubt about that. Even if there was, the way he was by your side throughout your labor with your daughter would have done away with any doubts. There wasn't much more you could ask for in a partner than what he did for you that day and what he does for you as you recover.

It's a week before any of you are ready to take a picture but you're thankful for Ashley recommending a good photographer for the newborn pictures despite Austin's protests that he could take his own. After all, you wanted him in some of them, and you didn't trust an autotaken picture for this. When it comes time for Austin to post that your daughter's been born he goes for a simple picture that shows your hand on top of Austin's and Loretta's on yours with a simple caption: isn't she lovely, isn't she wonderful.

He saves the other photos for you to post.

Hot take: The Woobification of Sebastian and O!Ciel-How Beauty Clouds Judgement

Hey guys, it’s me again and I can’t sleep. I have another hot take to share! Once again, please don’t take this too seriously, I’m just talking.

So, I just want to start off by saying that I totally get it. I mean it! We’ve been following these characters for years and we’ve gotten so invested in there stories and we can’t help but want them to win, you know? It’s human nature to want to root for the underdog in some ways. And, O!Ciel kinda fits the mold of underdog when you consider his backstory.

But, and this is my opinion, Ciel and Sebastian are NOT the underdogs. And I can’t help but think that if they both weren’t so pretty, you’d see a lot less people excusing their behavior or rooting for them.

I should also stress that I’m not talking about the people who look at these characters through a complex lense, I’m more so talking about people who are insistent that O!Ciel and Sebastian are good people/not evil.

Like I said, I get it and I empathize with the kid, but the kid is a BASTARD. He has progressively become an awful, awful person and that’s the POINT. And I can’t help but find it boring when people try to strip that away from him.

People feel bad for O!Ciel because he’s been through a lot, which yeah he definitely has. And people are mad at R!Ciel for standing against him and at Lizzy for turning on him, at least for now.

And, again, I kinda get it because we’ve been with O!Ciel for so long and it’s natural to root for him. But, O!Ciel is not the good guy! Lol what’s happening right now is that he’s currently being forced to face the consequences of his own actions. Which, let’s be honest, he wasn’t expecting to ever have to do because of his personal countdown death clock, Sebastian.

I can understand why he told those lies, especially at the beginning. But there’s no excuse for them anymore. He should have BEEN told everyone the truth. Would it have been easy? Of course not. But it would’ve been the right thing to do. While it’s understandable why he did what he did, he still took away his family’s ability to grieve and R!Ciel’s ability to rest, at least in my opinion.

Also, I think it’s important to note that, after a point, O!Ciel started to ENJOY being Ciel. So much so that he’s willing to fight the real Ciel for his own name. Which is absurd when you think about it!

His family absolutely ain’t shit for not only not noticing the difference, but also not doing anything to step in and really be there for that boy. But again, that’s part of the point of what Yana is trying to say in that upperclass Victorian society is/and was depraved, shallow, and mostly evil.

O!Ciel may have been thinking of the others when he made his initial decision but the decision was still selfish. I think that it’s ok to say that; while yes, he suffered from heavy survivors guilt and truly thought that his family would prefer for R!Ciel to come back (and unfortunately he wasn’t wrong), he still, if only subconsciously, wanted the power, prestige, and access that R!Ciel’s name carried.

He LIKES being Ciel now and loathes his old name and position. He LIKES the power, the access, the maneuverability, hurting people when they get in his way, killing those who wronged him, the security of Sebastian’s presence, the ability to make his dream come true (made a lot easier with Ciel’s name), the dark mind games he plays with people. ALL OF IT. He loves it and that’s the POINT.

And Sebastian is a demon. Yes we all know that, that’s not news. However, I still feel like we give the man (entity, whatever) too much credit a lot of the time. Again, mostly because he’s pretty.

Is it possible that he grew to care for O!Ciel in someway? Sure! And I do believe he legitimately has a lot of respect for O!Ciel. But I honestly think it’s more likely that the bastard is hungry and the current events are making him worried that he’ll end up being killed or losing his meal in the end. I don’t think it’s impossible or too much of a stretch to say that he’s grown fond of O!Ciel in someways, but best believe that child is food. TLDR: It makes sense why people root for O!Ciel and Sebastian. But I think we give these two way too much credit sometimes and there’s an over abundance of people trying to absolve them both of their evil. I didn't expect Bertholdt to win lol. Back a couple years when I was in my AoT bullshit I was a die hard fan and simp for him. But many people hated him and would shit on me for liking him so I'm happy to see that people like him. It makes me happy that he is getting the love he deserves :,) So without further ado here is....

Affection — how do they show their love and affection?

He'll leave lingering touches on your body and always give you small things. Like flowers he found or something you said you wanted/mentioned.

Blood — how messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

He would get messy but prefers not to. Now he wouldn't massacre a whole town unless necessary, maybe only slit a few throats if need be. He much rather deal with people in other means.

Cruelty — how would they treat their darling once abducted?

He is not too cruel but step outta line and his words will be harsh and if needed you might get slapped. He doesn't want to hurt you but your hurting his feelings by trying to escape and physically hurt him.

Darling — aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

I don't see him forcing himself on you unless somehow someway Reiner got into his head how if he doesn't Darling will never live and respect him. Bertholdt really needs to be pushed over the edge of have some serious convincing by only Reiner that he needs to do it. Bertholdt wants to have you willingly and it makes him psychically ill just to think about forcing himself on you.

Exposed — how vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?

He can be pretty vulnerable especially when you fall to Stockholm syndrome. He will open up about himself and his past. But in the early stages he is more weary about opening up but still bears some of his heart out for you.

Fight — how would they feel if their darling fought back?

He wouldn't like it and would be upset. On one hand he understands why your acting this way. He kidnapped you some you away from your loved ones but, on the other you should love him because he protects you and cares for you and will do anything for you. You were meat to be his and he was meant to be yours why can't you except that?

Game — is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?

He wouldn't like it. It's not fun it's not amusing infact everything but that. It pisses him off and he wishes you wouldn't do this to him. Do you you know how much he panics we he finds you gone from your room. He breaks out into tears and tears up the whole place and spends forever searching for you.

Hell — what would be their darling’s worst experience with them?

He would threaten darling and their family and prove he is not bluffing come back with one of the relatives items(or hand). He only did this because darling was acting up and tried to escape.

Ideals — what kind of future do they have in mind for their darling?

One where you can live peacefully in Marley with him. Reiner visits every so often and your a loving stay at home darling. Bertholdt is obviously the money maker and he makes sure his precut darling has everything they need and want.

Jealousy — do they get jealous? How do they handle it?

He does get jealous because he is a little insecure. When Reiner comes over he can't help but feel jealous of him. He's muscular and confident and great with people. Sure Bertholdt is tall and somewhat strong and can manage conversations here and there. But he doesn't have big muscles and isn't really confident and conversations quickly did and soon as they start. So she Reiner comes over and starts to cling around Darling more than necessary and Bertholdt is getting real jealous. He'll walk over to Reiner and start to push him towards the door and ignore his comments and tells him to leave and he is making Darling uncomfortable. He then quickly grabs Darling in his arms and holds them for a while.

Kisses — how do they act around or with their darling?

He is gentle and kind. He is mostly just a obsessive and possive yandere. So he is still semi normal around you just more clingy and you never go out.

Love letters — how would they go about approaching their darling?

He would probably slowly insert himself in your life. He would appear here and there and try to talk to you. Then he would befriend you and be glued to your side. He would try to date you normally but if that doesn't work when you go on a mission he'll fake your death. But in truth he kidnapped you and now your living in a secret house with him and occasionally Reiner.

Mask — are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?

Not really. He still nervous around you but a little more talkative and bold.

Naughty — how would they punish their darling?

He would chain you up and strip you if your senses. You can't see, hear, smell, and your submerged in water some times. You won't know what's happening until it happens.

Oppression — how many rights would they take away from their darling?

He would take away your freedom. You can't go anywhere until he allows it. You have privacy to an extent but abuse it and it's all gone.

Patience — how patient are they with their darling?

He's pretty patient and willing to wait for their darling. Until darling spits in his face and it's looking like they won't submit willing. Then he might snap.

Quite — if their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?

If darling dies he will be broken and might forget everything and shut himself away. If they leave he's hurt and upset and will stop at nothing to get you back. And when he does he is not the same gentle giant he once was.

Regret — would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling?

Yes. He feels bad you can't see your family anymore. But this is what's best for you and you need to understand it.

Stigma — what brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?

He never had anyone special and the person he did love didn't give a damn about him. He always wanted someone to hold and have.

Tears — how do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?

He hates it. It makes him feel shitty and he wants to comfort you and explain how this is for the best. He hates hearing your broken painful screams. It breaks his heart for you to isolate yourself from him.

Unique — would they do anything different from the classic yandere?

You actually have body autonomy. He doesn't whip you and he's actually very sweet just obsessive and possessive.

Vice — what weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?

How he can be away for a while and he is sensitive. When he is gone darling can try to escape. Also sensitive in general wether sexually or emotionally. So get him weak and you might have a shot at overpowering him.

Wit’s end — would they ever hurt their darling?

Physically? I don't think so. Emotionally and mentally? Most likely yes. He doesn't want to but if he needs to do be it.

Xoanon — how much would they revere or worship their darling?

He thinks your a god/goddess sent from above to help him survive in this terrible world. You give him hope and he doesn't want anyone tainting you.

Yearn — how long do they pine after their darling before they snap?

1-2 years. He's a little slower than most yandere's but remember he wants you willing. So if it takes a year or so that's okay for him.

Zenith — would they ever break their darling?

Accidentally yes. He didn't mean to but sometimes things happen. He's a little upset but at least now your compliant.

So idea Sera and Emily fall and Sera who knows a bit about hell decides that two fallen angels would draw attention they don't need decide to start moving trying to find somewhere safe plus as proper angels not sinners they aren't immortal to everything but angelic steel if someone shots them with a normal gun it's over. She doesn't really know which fallen angels are still around baring Lucifer which if any would be willing to help instead of kill her on sight or even how to get to Lucifer. Meanwhile Carmilla hears about two fallen angels leaves the girls with Zestial and goes out looking for them unfortunately because Sera isn't staying put she can't find them and spends a while trying to find them. While that is happening the two are struggling they have no money shelter or food at at this point probably have some injuries most likely broken wings from the fall and random other things they realize running isn't doing any good so they need to find someway to support themselves or more accurately for Sera to support them. Sera eventually after looking around finds the overlord who filled Valentinos niche before he came along. (Somewhat off topic but how does hell technology work like is it tied to the real world was the Valentino of 600 years ago doing plays and selling woodprints) Sera is very a beautiful and an Angel she could easily be make him a lot of money after all the beautiful 10 ft tall angel would almost certainly be popular so they make a deal Sera will work for him and sell her soul in exchange for money shelter and promise that no one will harm Emily or ever buy her soul. Like the moment after the deal is signed Carmilla shows up realizes the fallen Angels where her ex from heaven and her sister and learns she is too late to stop the deal though Sera does tell Emily to go with Carmilla since she knows she'll be safer with her and accepts her fate. Carmilla doesn't she attacks proto Valentino and either keeps beating him until he undoes the deal or just kills him freeing Sera. Once that part is dealt with she takes the two tired, hurt and hungry angels home. She gets them cleaned up, fed, get someone to deal with the injuries (Sera is worse off she did her best to protect Emily and at points that meant standing in front of things blowing up or taking whatever hell threw at them) and lets them rest and recover. The two also get back together after all neither had gotten over the whole break up originally and after all that well Carmilla makes Sera feel safe and Sera is doing her best to make Carmilla feel loved.

I swear to not-God, you guys are not afraid to completely beat my heart to a bloody pulp with some of these AU ideas. 😭😭 I'm fine! I'm fine! (I'm not fine!)

Without knowing how making deals works in Hell, I guess I could see Sera get to a breaking point and do whatever she thought she needed to protect Emily. Then, not realizing the repercussions of the deal until it's too late, she's trapped. I assume Hell's society is also much more primitive at this time, like there's obviously no social media, shopping, television, or overall community of any kind. The denizens have to find entertainment somewhere, so her beauty would be something Sinners would gravitate to.

I like to think that once Carmilla realizes Sera sold her soul to proto-Valentino, she would not hesitate to just off the bugger right then and there. Like at this point the overlord alliance probably isn't that strong yet. The only other person she still trusts is Zestial, and some guy who puts on plays and makes woodprints isn't going to be a big enough player in Hell's economy that she'd be willing to risk Sera's soul. He'd just be double-dead from the word go.

She and Sera can reconcile, get back together, and start building back the great Hell empire from there. That's how I see it all playing out!

hi luv; i don’t want this to be something but I really like your opinions and I feel you’re a safe person to talk about it, and sometimes I think that someone that is here for a longer time can help me elucidate with what I’m feeling, so I’ve been a larrie for almost 4 years and came to tumblr almost a year ago, I found a happy and peace place here but lately I’ve been struggling with some things, it’s not like I think they aren’t together or the stunts are real, or any shit like this, I continue firmly believing in them but some of louis actions to me are feeling really weird, in the last years louis looked like he didn’t care for us, and I’m not saying he should bcs really that’s something that doesn’t affect me, but what I’m struggling about is that idk, in the last months I’ve been feeling that he really is trying to get us away, with all the bbg shits, and the way he apparently looks disgusted with the minimum things that can attach him to us, to Larry, in general and I really don’t know if this is just my feeling or in someway do you feel the same or has another vision on it, so I wanted to ask you, your thoughts and try to racionalize with them, I know that we’ve been the puchbags since forever but it used to be in a different way, and I’m just feeling confused by him, almost looks like that in this tour he wants to get us away as ever, which doesn’t make sense to me, bcs why in hell he would put a line like a princess park in a song and tour with it and now act this way… I hope you can share your thoughts about it! Hi, love. I’m not following Louis’ tour super closely, but I haven’t seen him looking “disgusted” at things. I can’t begin to understand the babygate stuff, but he’s the one who put the 2015 Larry hug in his WAOYF video recently. If he hates Larry or larries, he wouldn’t do that.

My honest opinion is that there are too many fans looking for “clues” and “signs” to “prove Larry” as if it’s some sort of game they can win. Back in the day I very firmly believe Harry and Louis both wanted fans to know they were together and that they were fighting to be seen. And I do believe they did a lot of things to signal this to their fans. But it’s been a long time since I thought that. I just think they want their privacy these days.

Yes, it’s sometimes felt recently that they don’t want larries around (particularly with Louis doubling down on BG), but I feel it’s more that they don’t need our loud support. They don’t need (or want) our dissecting everything they do to make “proofs” that they’re together. I do believe they are together, but I don’t think proving it needs to be anyone’s priority.

I don’t know if that helps, but those are my thoughts at the moment.

More Kinda/Sorta SI!Aizen, now with some UraIchi thrown at him because Cywscross makes me love it

In relation to the First of the Kinda/Sorta SI!Aizen AU (I feel thats a good tag at least), if anyone wants to read that first to make sense of the mess this is gonna be: this is just a basically more of a dump of interactions and headcannons that I would like to see between Canon and Kinda/Sorta verse (easy way to differ the two, I'll put KS! before their name.) but adding some other spices and ideas because my brain is going weeeeeeee!

But yeah I made the mistake of re-reading remake the universe (remake us) by cywscross which I can not regret because how they characterize Aizen and Urahara and Ichigo makes me go so feral, so beautiful and all that, I feel something like cute aggression? but I guess make it ship aggression in this case? eh, whatever, but once more I'm gonna note all this out because why not? these three are crowding in my head, and they refuse to leave, so I have to get them out in some way, so be forewarned of some UraIchi being liberally sprinkled everywhere.

So, I've touch on some things in this verse that I kinda want to go deeper on, which have also been buzzing around in my head.

KS!Aizen is someone I'm actually unsure if I still want him to be the Fifth Division's lieutenant or the Fourth's; like, this idea is just bouncing in my head rent free, because all KS!Aizen really has to do is change the cycle of souls and make sure the Visored are created; he could do that in almost any division, some of them would make it even easier, especially with how many still disregard the Fourth and all their efforts.

But for some reason, I actually want KS! Versions of Shinji and Aizen to actually bond; like, I think I actually want them to be something like friends? (Battle brothers, back to back on battlefields and in mires, blood coating their blades as it is either us vs them, you vs the enemy, a mentor, a guide, a voice that can help them when they are so stuck in thoughts and memories, who makes the world seem more real, someone I can have at my back and trust, someone who can keep up, someone I know I will see on the other side, just a little more broken, but not gone like so many others) just, the thought of it makes me actually grin? Like, KS!Shinji will be just a bit sus of his second, because KS!Sosuke is still plotting shit and hidding his true power levels, fudging a bit on his Zanpakuto's ability but not completely so he can still get away with some shit.

And then... somehow, someway, I want KS!Aizen to experience An Emotion; I want him to actually feel betrayed, because god can you imagine? (And the thing is, no matter the Aizen, no matter the man, he will hold a grudge forever to the very end... except, maybe, for those his broken, jagged mixed up heart has actually let in; Canon!Aizen won't know this, never having lets anyone in, but KS!Aizen? well, there is very, very little he wouldn't forgive KS!Urahara for, but KS!Shinji?... He'll give the man one chance.)

Also, considering the Visored; that is actually an interesting situation in my head. Like, it doesn't take anyone too long to find out that KS!Aizen is actually trying to make such people a thing, without the fate worse then death going on, and of course his fellow guys are so fucking sus about that, because it makes them wonder if he had a hand in the situation? It's just, Sosuke is actually fully embracing his Hollow, learning the tricks and exploring his new abilities with a single minded focus that unnerves most everyone... It, made the first decade and a half very tense, KS!Aizen even leaving afterwards for about 3 decades with few visits to drop supplies and spar, most doing their best to avoid him, except maybe a few.

(KS!Gin narrowing his eyes, looking at his mentor who took him and Rangiku from starvation and the streets, sponsored them both in exchange for Gin's mind in the future, Rangiku's strength, someone who looked at him and all his sharp edges and thought him worth something more then Rukongai trash, never even looked at his friend with any sort of lust but calculative of her strength and how to make her stronger. Gin thinks of his mentor who wouldn't do anything without a reason, who constantly still works to the bone despite their exile, never lets himself grow dull, who trains and trains, even as the rest of the Visored exclude him for a bit. Looks over to Urahara, that stupid mask still on but unable to hide his own considering gaze as they take in the trickiest of the Visored.

Gin knows Aizen; he does absolutely nothing without reason, with only as much effort as needed. What does it say that he's doing so fucking much, even spitting blood in spars and constant late nights judging by the bags when he lets his illusions down just enough to rest.

It isn't hard to get the rest of the group with the program, just takes his own special nudge here and there.)

So, with some shit, spars, out all dogpiles, shouting and one too many sleepless nights, the Visored and Kisuke do manage to pin down Sosuke enough for him to admit that the Visored need to exist, that while he has been trying to create them he has never picked anyone against their will, has had only too many volunteers to pick from, and with the balance of souls needing to be kept, it's not like people cared to much of Rukongai's outer districts people.

The relationships get better when they see how the Visored that Sosuke has created actually join them, completely, 100% loyal to the man that gave them a chance no one else in all of Soul Society ever gave them. Sure, he experimented and caused them pain, but that's just how life is in the outer districts; they lived one more day, got more power, and became strong enough to protect themselves. (Visored!Ulquiorra because brrrrrr) Sure, Aizen had to shut down most of his labs because of the exile, but he has his sneaky, sneaky ways of getting into Soul Society and getting shit done, so he was able to take at least a few successes. (I'm gonna say maybe 10 or so? the rest he either humanely killed or just wiped their memory and dumped them with a care package) so the KS!Visored group is bigger then in canon, and can be made up of OCs or even random canon characters that might turn a few heads :D the possibilities are fun~

So yeah, the Visored from the Gotei are still sus, but Aizen is still one of them and he does obviously have good intentions somewhere even if he is being very vague about just why, so after a bit they still accept him as one of their own.

And then the Quincy :D (They're like; damnit, ain't that a damn good reason to share?!)

And then they find out about KS!Aizen's shitty situation of forced to live in this bloody world and make Visored or get your soul shredded. (That night, Sosuke finds himself nearly suffocating from a mandatory cuddle pile, KS!Kisuke refusing to let go of him even as the other Visored yell about snacks and fighting over movies or tv series to watch. Even as he rolls his eyes or huffs, he does have a small, barely there little crook of a smile on his lips.)

Now, we have KS!Uraai or Urazen there already... so my brain is like; why not a have budding/kinda already Post Canon!UraIchi forming between the canon characters? In this verse of it, I feel like Ichigo and Sosuke bond over having to wrangle their respective mad scientist creator, sharing tips and tricks on dealing with him, actually going to the other because they can vent to someone who actually understands about loving the blond, who doesn't judge him for it, (doesn't tell him that's what he gets for choosing someone like that instead of someone normal) and who actually offers good advice, tips and tricks that actually helps him with his relationship. There are the movie nights, but then they also form a book club, hang out, dragging their respective blond on double dates and bonding time so they can ensure he's getting fresh air and not killing himself.

And yet both Sosuke and Ichigo are pulled up short the minute anyone calls them friends; like... huh...

On the Urahara's side; for one, I'm gonna say they both have different kinds of injuries, different types of actions, because for KS!Kisuke, he's almost always had an equal in KS!Sosuke, who (desperate, with not enough caffeine in his system, bags under his eyes and way too much paperwork because nobles are still fucking assholes and the captain can't fire or demote them unless it's an actual big reason) approaches the Twelfth's captain and decides: Lets go with the Ichigo Approach.

KS!Aizen: *Stares with dead eyes* Good day Captain Urahara, I am coming to you with Ulterior Motives and not nearly enough sleep to care.

KS!Kisuke: *blinks, surprised, but honestly amused because it is honestly refreshing for someone to come out and say it* is that so? What do you need?

KS!Sosuke: Nobles to get an actual brain or any decent work ethic, but I doubt that's coming anytime soon, so can I possibly use your reputation and some of the Twelfth's work space to scare most anyone who would try and dump their paperwork on me that is most certainly not my problem?

KS!Kisuke: *Now thoroughly amused, doesn't comment about the ill words about nobles because he is still sore about being tossed from the Second* Sure, just make sure you pay it forward in the future.

And then the two get into a debate on some research project, showcasing just how smart KS!Sosuke is, able to keep up and challenge his friend, and thus the rest is history. So, this bond has it's own effect on KS!Kisuke, someone who after being abandoned ended up finding someone just as smart, twisted and monstrous, who just gets him in a way no one else ever has, even as they differ and clash just enough to find their jagged edges catching on something and holding on to it ever so obsessively. KS!Kisuke doesn't have Canon's guilt, or at least, not as much because for him, it was either watch Aizen and his comrades suffer a fate he wouldn't give an enemy lightly/last resort or save them as much as he can; not to mention how with KS!Sosuke's action in his verse, none of the Visored actually blame Kisuke all the much here, and with how Sosuke just keeps training, fighting, never stopping even after most would stagnate...

Well, let's just say that the Visored and the Shouten crew have very different power levels compared to the canon crew.

(KS!Sosuke: *Raises an eyebrow* "Perfection? Sounds like just another form of Stagnation to me.")

So yeah, both Urahara's are different beasts to deal with; I'm pretty sure the two would take pot shots and digs at the other, see what gets under the other's skin, at least when they're not enabling each other in another research binge. KS!Kisuke would probably also find Ichigo fascinating, wanting to see how the other ticks, which KS!Aizen has to smack him or drag him away before his counterpart tries to stab him. Meanwhile Ichigo has to make sure his Urahara doesn't stab KS!Aizen out of reflex, which he is getting better about.

just, the possibilities for this verse, it's fun to think about even if it starts to mutate oddly in my head~

A couple things I’ve done, The Inner World deserves so much better 🙁

It’s a good game that has so much potential, unfortunately it wasn’t so popular

🔆Lol some spoilers ahead(just me info dumping and ranting)🔆

The series would’ve been fire too, I want to see the sillies being silly in their world of soil. I want to know more about the world and it’s lore, like the lore was pretty solid but it had some slight issues. Though I didn’t notice them till I played both games about 7 times back and forth.

I also want to know more about Conroy and Emil, I get that they’re the bad guys and all but I wanna know about their life.

We know about Robert’s, him being taken as a baby after conroy ‘killed’ (well they weren’t really killed now were they?) off the dynasty and never being able to leave the palace while also being neglected by conroy, and we know about Laura’s too, her being hidden under the Mechatre plotting the death of conroy while also trying to find her dad yada yada alright we know that good stories 10/10, but what about the bad guys.

What we know about Conroy is that he was supposedly an orphan along with the other two Windmonks (how Mama Dola found them is beyond me) and that they were all raised in the mountains, specifically the Shovel Mountains, so basically they were brothers. We don’t know what their lives were like during that time or how they were raised in those mountains or anything really. I guess at one point Conroy was just like “Ottilie’s mad fine tbh” and Y’know…did the DEED, that scandalous Windmonk… but I understand him I mean Ottilie IS fine asf.

Fast forward Conroy wants to implement the death penalty for giggles and the king says no, so Conroy says “fuck you” and plans world domination which includes having Reminepo (Laura’s father duh) build ‘wind gods’ AKA Basylians. Y’know the deal, boom boom you’re stone and you’re stone and you’re stone and OO look a baby mine now fuck all of you FFFFFFFFFFFFFFLOOTnoses.

And some small notes I found is that Conroy dabbles in Art (which I think he displays in the throne room as you see down the hallway with all the abstract art but I’m not sure), he keeps plants on windowsills specifically the spiky ones, he takes knock out pills when he can’t sleep or is feeling lonely (poor guy), he hates fosfoses AND tumblemice calling them evil (dawg..) but loves his killer hedgehog Fonk (I do too but make it make sense), I did have more but while I was writing this a friend texted and when I texted back I forgot what I was gonna write for this but in conclusion Conroy is a LOSERMAN despite his narcissistic, good-doer image.

Now Emil is kinda difficult, we know that he tumbled down a windfountain as a child (he was probably a toddler when he fell despite his brother saying he was a baby) and we don’t know HOW he survived the fall but he did and ended up in front of the wacky stuff store where he was taken in by his adoptive parents, whom are unnamed, and his brother, who also doesn’t have a name (well, more so everyone forgot what his name was) but is referred to as Emil’s Brother, Emil probably had a good childhood seeing how he has a photo of him and his family in his office which is shown on the bookshelf he has. They look pretty happy to me, besides Emil, born emo.

Someway he heard about conroy and absolutely Fell head over heels (there’s no way he’s straight. Look at him. Plus that time when he said he’ll NEVER be as attractive as Conroy.

It’s like that “I’m not gay but damn” “you don’t have to be gay to appreciate a man’s beauty.” “Nah bro I’d FUCK you”)

Then he got all Conroy obsessed, like really obsessed. Killer obsessed (he’s so real.) Anyways somehow someway he showed up with a mob of asposians to the wind chapel, WHICH MAY I REMIND YOU. WAS DEEP WITHIN THE ROOT FOREST? HOW’D HIS ASS GET THERE AND WHAT WAS THE REASON HE WAS THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE, anyways he saw conroy’s remains and was like “NOOOOOOOO THE SOON-TO-BE LOVE OF MY LIFE IS DEAD. you dirty flutenoses KILLED him 😾” “😯” boom bam bang flutenoses are hated, conroyalism is a thing yada yada deedoo yknow what happens at the end.

Some small notes of Emil is that he can get so obsessed with something that it scares people well that’s what his brother says (again, he’s so real), apparently he didn’t have friends if not a couple of them so he was probably lonely in childhood but he still had a good life with his adoptive family, he didn’t really choose to be alone though he did try to fit in but I guess him wanting everything to be orderly and wanting little to no fun drove people away, alright we get it. You’re OBSESSED with conroy. I mean cmon you have him everywhere, your office is filled with it, the wacky stuff store has a whole shelf dedicated to him, you’re spending the rest of your life for one thing only and that’s to be Conroy’s second hand man.

Istg he’s in love with Conroy there definitely is some hints of fruit in him.

And one last thing on the small notes, Emil is scary good at sculpting stuff and building, he’s spent 2-3 years on the cable car sculpture thing, in his office he has a model of Conroy’s palace on display sitting on the bookshelf, this means he could technically put conroy back together and revive him. But he’d have to figure out how, I mean conroy did shatter into tiny pieces.

I think that’s all I wanted to dump for now, but I’m very passionate about TIW and will do anything for that series. If you put in enough effort, you could find a way to make TIW 3 filled with new critters and characters. Though this is all fantasy, I know that there will never been another TIW nor will the series ever be released unless a miracle happens. But I’m keeping it realistic so my mind doesn’t build up hope that shouldn’t be there.

None the less even fanart that was made years ago makes me sob tears of joy, maybe one day TIW will get more recognition and the love it deserves.

a little ramble (personal)

I realized I'm grieving my life. It's never the way i wanted it to be, it's constant loss of parts of myself. someway along this way i feel like my magic left me, mostly, too

i stopped believing things can get better, then i hoped, then i lost my hope again.

it doesn't feel right to suffer so much, but i know i have to. i am working with shadows and Death constantly and i know suffering is needed.

i just wonder if there's more people like this. knowing they will suffer and accepting it? thinking it's something that might be necessary to them after a while? like you know you want to live but you also know the way you'll live will be full of pain? and yet you don't want it to end, gaining hope just to lose it?

the words of "hey i used to feel like that too. believe me it get better!" seem such a lie to me. you dont know if it ever gets better, do you? some people are just impossible to get they happy beginning. some of us (like me) are stuck with people that won't let them go no matter what. id doesn't get better until there's miracle. and some people might never see it [the said miracle], some might experience it at the end of their life when they are old and hopeless.

I'm just tired. i wish i wasn't loser of what my dreams are [escape from abuse forever, finding found family on physical plane], but i also know it's something that lets me learn perspective of unusual kind.

don't worry i don't plan to d*e. i just had to get it out of my chest, because i know there might be people here who need to read this: you're needed, so am i, but sometimes the person that saves us is ourselves, and that's why i am suffering now. bc im here to learn and i strongly believe that lesson won't be acknowledged until my next lives.

it's sad to me yes. i might never be happy here but once i go past this life, who knows? maybe it will be useful?? maybe it will make me more kind? prevent other people from suffering bc of how I would treat them [in next life if i hadn't been sad here]?

sorry it's too personal but like i wrote i had to get it on "paper" to you. i need to talk to someone about it, and i sincerely hope i help at least one person like me with this kind of thinking, or if i made you feel even more sad i'm sorry i tend to see world though its darkness rather than light

TW: Animal illness and potential death

I think my cat Hemingway may die today.

Two weeks ago the vet found a lump on his side, and while we were hopeful at first that it may've just been a cyst, he's since gotten a lot worse. He's been deteriorating really quickly, not eating a lot and losing weight even though we've given him anti-nausea medication frequently. Last night we think he might've had a seizure because his walking became very staggered and wobbly out of seemingly nowhere.

I'm hoping against all odds that there is someway to help him, that today won't be my last day with him, but I'm not at all sure that that'll happen.

Even his purring is extremely weak and it hurts so bad to know that he's suffering.

My family and I have had him ever since he was a little kitten. I was only 8 or 9 when we adopted him. He's always been the most comforting, understanding, gentle guy with us. Once, when I was upset as a small child, he tried to comfort me by giving me one of his little beat up toys, but when that didn't work he bit me just to see if that would work. He loved cuddling with my mom all the time and he'd sleep right on top of her head at night.

When he was younger he used to be exactly like a dog and play fetch and we'd have to keep the toilet seat down for similar dog like reasons. He was always incredibly smart. I remember once we were watching something on TV together that had kittens in it and we were watching it on one of those older sets and he climbed up onto the cabinet and went around the back of it to try and find the other cats.

He got along with all the other cats we had really well, although occasionally he could be caught being a little bit of a bully to our second oldest cat Bella. He pretty much raised our youngest cat Twain as his own little baby, letting him jump on his back all the time when he was a little kitten and sleeping and cuddling with him. The two of them always got into play fights with one another too when they tried grooming each other and it was stupidly cute.

In his older years he really liked sitting on the front porch of our house in the Summer. We never let him go further than that for a multitude of reasons, but he didn't usually care. He liked the sun and the flowers and chewing on sticks that he found. He liked sitting on our laps while we watched the sun go down.

He had the cutest, whiny meow whenever he wanted more food or attention.

I really really really really do not want this to be the day he dies, but I also don't want him to suffer if he's in pain.

I'm sorry that I don't have a better closer for this post. I might not reblog anything on here for a little bit. There was a more fun post that I wanted to make instead, but writing this took center stage. Please love your pets while you can, please hug them and kiss them and tell them that they are cherished. Very few things are indestructible. Very few things are plastic and last forever.

Please just treasure your time together.

He's gone.

I know it's cliched, but it doesn't feel real at all. I know he's not coming back but I still feel like he should be here. He was like my baby brother, I don't know what I'm going to do without him.

i finally read all of dolcezza and HABDJSAHGAGS oh my goodness. even after reading all your works for well over a year now, i don’t think ill even get used to how amazing of a writer you are. i truly FELT everything in that story, from her pain of asking for help (she’s soooo real omfg she’s just like me) to the anxiety and terror in the last chapter ???? I LOVE writing about songs. It's the easiest way for me to write, honestly. I guess that speaks more to the song-artist than about me hehehe. The second I hear a song I like, I envision a whole story about the lyrics. Noah Kahan has been KILLING me for months. His new song Forever just officially dropped today and I can't with "we can't make rent, so we window shop." I have lots of ideas based on songs rolling around in my head and you can see how quick I write when I have a song that makes the story easier based on some of my older work (not that I'd recommend reading anything older it's trashy af).

I have yet to fully dive into the lyrics of Paint, but glossing over them, they seem a bit sad. So idk if I'd be able to write one of my cute-gross stories, but I might spin it another direction. The Most Impactful Story On My Writing

And I can't remember its name but I remember one reaction I had from it that has never really left me.

So first, I do remember the premise so let me set the scene. First: This was when I was just getting into manga as a tweenager, just into middle school, and my sister had a couple books in her room that she'd let me read. One of them was a Shoujo series about a witch getting stranded in our realm after leaving the magical realm and now she must deal with life and boys. During the introductory period, hijinks with her magic happened and then...

They just stopped. For like two whole volumes, you literally could not distinguish it from literally any other Shojo series set in the modern day. The theoretical hook was simply gone as she went through love triangle shenanigans. Then, suddenly, they're making this big deal about her potentially being forced to return to the magical realm and what that means and my reaction was "OH RIGHT! THIS BITCH HAD MAGIC!"

And that moment kind of hit hard for me. When I talk in my analysis about getting annoyed about something abandoning its premise or characters just forgetting who they were, I think this is where that core issue for me began. A moment where I was suddenly wrenched out of everything I was enjoying to go "Oh right! There was an actual concept behind this!"

And that definitely is also in my writing. I'm not going to claim to be perfect but as an example, I did a romcom where one character is a werewolf and it's really fluffy and cute... And yet the curse is still real. Pretty much every chapter has to do with the werewolf element in someway. It is still a CURSE, not just her having dog ears and a tail, even if in many chapters it's allowed to be that way for fluff. It is never left hanging for too long the reminder that I chose to make them a werewolf.

That book is Their Ruff Secrets btw and is my proudest work to this day, even if Crises Girlfriends is even more personal for me.

It by no means is the only one though. When I did monster girls, I made sure not to forget their claws and what they were. When I did traumatized, molded soldiers, they were constantly dealing with their training versus their reality as sudden civilians. Rich Witch is possibly to the point where it's so focused on these characters being nobles and what that means that it's a detriment as much as a plus, but I know I wouldn't really write it any other way because I would never want to feel like I'm just ignoring the premise. Hell, plans for that series include one character acting like they're trying to forget that they're a noble and the PROBLEMS that come with that.

And it all started with a fairly generic Shoujo manga that I can't even remember the name of.

Expectations are Hollywood's Lies: Witchcraft Edition (Ghosts pt. 2)

It's not like pokemon, ghosts can touch normal types.

Expectation:

I hate the whole crawling everywhere thing. That's definitely Hollywood bullshit. Not once have I seen or heard of anyone seeing a ghost crawl like this.

Reality:

Sadly, this instance is far too common and so is the pain that comes from it. (Me and my late fiance be like...) That joke made me sad.

So...spirits and ghosts can touch you. Let's start off with that.

It's not like they're touching you 24/7. Actually, it's a little difficult to get your attention let alone touch you. It takes a bit of energy to manifest in general which is why full apparitions are so rare. It's like trying to play a game you know a bit about on a system you've never used before. Things are going to be a bit wonky. Not to mention as we grow older and more focused on the material and things we can touch, taste, see etc, we don't look beyond what we can't. I mean there are a ton of non believers out there and so many of them look for that objective proof that there are a such thing as ghosts and spirits.

"If ghosts are real why haven't we seen them?" Bitch, I don't know, you act like there's a manual for this shit.

There are a couple theories on why it's so hard to make physical contact, a veil making it hard to interact, different planes of existence, energy being hard to maintain when you don't have something very tangible to hold it etc. Which is why supposedly they'll drain your electronics if you're ghost hunting, or even drain you of energy because they're trying to keep theirs up.

Does that make them bad? No not really, we don't even know why they feel the need to do this or do it at all. It just happens. We ask them to show themselves and that might take a lot of power to do so. A lot of the time, spirits will do as you ask to the best of their abilities. Some finding methods of communication easier than the way you originally wanted. Instead of someone speaking to you, like you wanted, perhaps you felt a strange burst of a random emotion instead? Did something fall over? A series of knocks? Spirits and ghosts will do what they can to respond, and honestly, results may vary. Things are strange on the other side.

Speaking of making you feel certain ways, that is a form of contact too. Randomly feeling emotions can be them communicating. For example, if someone was hung to death and you were at their gallows, and you asked during an EVP, "how did you feel during your final moments?" and then at least one of you gets struck with a feeling of sorrow, anger, fear or what have you, there's an answer. If you walk into an old nursery and just feel insanely happy, or loving, thats them as well. Or maybe even you feel as though you are grieving something, also communication and a form of touching. It seems like that way is much easier for some.

For other physical contacts they can affect the body. For a personal example, spirits who do not like me tend to go for my stomach and give me massive stomach pain and nausea until I leave or get rid of them myself. I've also been touched in the forehead while in bed with an wave of fatigue hitting me (Please...do be cautious of this...that's usually not good if this is happening it's best to cleanse the area). Headaches are common as well from their presence, especially if it's heavy or in some other cases cruel.

Remember: a heavy presence doesn't always mean bad, it just means big or a little hard to handle in someway.

So that begs the question: What should you do if ghosts do touch you, or if you think one is touching you?

And the answer is:

Its situational as fuck. It depends on how you feel, how the touch makes you feel, who you're trying contact, where you are. There are far too many factors for me to give you a tried and true method of reacting. If you're feeling brave, invite for a touch or two, make sure to have boundaries, protection and wards I cannot stress that enough. Give some an inch and they will take your ass for a mile. Possession is not a fucking joke. (Hint to part 3)

Do not forget that the ball is in your court as the living person, you set the ground rules, you restrict and permit, especially when it comes to your body especially if it's your space both of you are occupying. But even when you're in their area, a graveyard they've inhabited, a place they've occupied for years, you still have the choice to get the fuck out of there and not interact with these spirits. You do have options and it would be best to use them wisely and to the best of your ability.
