30.10.2022. Anxious mess today. Woke up at the crack of dawn, skipped breakfast, and dragged my ass to work. It's one of those days when I don’t want people to look at me and the idea of going anywhere to get lunch makes me feel out of breath, my legs turn to jelly. My friend stayed with me on the phone so I could actually walk out without having a panic attack halfway through. But hey, it’s gotten a lot better than it's been for the past 3 years so there’s your silver lining.

Editing out my schedule for next month today and trying to not think about scholarship deadlines. I also need to get some readings done and fix my bibliography by the end of the month. My works cited page is all over the place. The rest I don't want to think about. Cross that bridge when I get there.

Hi! I’m a 4th year pre-vet student going to apply to next cycle to vet school. Do you have any advice for me?

Hi!! I’m not sure how much help I can be, as I applied to vet school in the Netherlands and I don’t know if it will resemble your application process!

But in regards to studying, I found it really helpful to work from broad concepts to details. Vet school is all about connecting concepts, for which you definitely need details, but you won’t be able to remember/understand them if you can’t place them in the bigger picture. So start with YouTube videos or chatGPT summaries, the explain like I’m five kind of deal and then work your way to the required reading materials and the nitty gritty. I also made a lot of mindmaps en drawings to work through understanding the mechanisms and then explained them to people, to really make sure I understood.

As for the mental part, in the end, it’s “just” an education. So many people succeeded before you and there’s no reason you can’t be part of that group! It’s so so much fun to be a part of the vetmed world, but it can also be hard to remember your why sometimes. Find your niche, don’t feel pressured to be good at everything and focus on learning and enjoying yourself as much as possible!

CUET PG 2024 Registration Deadline: Apply Online Before January 24

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is closing the registration window for the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG 2024) on January 24, 2024. Aspiring candidates seeking admission to postgraduate programs in central, state, private, and deemed universities need to complete the online application process before the specified deadline.

Key Details:

Last Date to Register: January 24, 2024

Application Fee Payment Deadline: January 25, 2024

Correction Window: January 27 to 29, 2024

Exam Dates: March 11 to 28, 2024

Candidates who have not registered yet can visit the new website pgcuet.samarth.ac.in to complete the CUET PG 2024 application. Additionally, the NTA provides an opportunity for applicants to make corrections in their application forms during the period from January 27 to 29, 2024.

Application Process Highlights:

Candidates need to select two cities of their choice based on their permanent or present address in the CUET PG 2024 application form.

15.10.2022. 🎧 Cruel Summer - Taylor Swift🎶

I still have so much editing left to go through, it's giving me a headache. I need coffee and hugs. I had to leave the house in search of a cafe where I could work on my paper. It’s Saturday and usually this place gets very crowded. But at least I’m here early and was able to snag a seat at the back. Why can’t I work from home you ask? I tried!I tried getting some work done yesterday, but home has a bed and it keeps calling my name anytime I try to be remotely productive. I am sorry but I’m weak and very susceptible to taking naps to escape my problems!

On a side tangent, there are only 6 more sleepless nights to go till Midnight releases and I can finally unlock a new part of my personality. Thank you blondie for being the only ray of sunshine this month, I love you.

P.s. How extra do you have to be to have a mini koi fish pond in the middle of a freaking mall??? I swear, Kuwait has the weirdest mix of aesthetics.
