"White Mage" was suggested by LilBedoop on twitter and "Armadillo" was suggested by @also-jam1220-art!! Decided to combine 2 suggestions together from 2 newcomers whose ideas I hadn't used yet! There were actually a good amount of great ideas for fairy types though!

But yes, these are obviously two tiny cute white mage healer armadillos :) Curoll tends to stay rolled up because it's scared, but Panadillo does come out of its shell to help it find injured Pokemon better. They would have LOTS of healing moves and potentially an ability that heals. Like maybe healing whatever Pokemon you call out AFTER Panadillo?

when the spanish arrived to america one of the creatures they found the most interesting was the armadillo, a creature so fantastic for them that it was difficult to describe, one of those descriptions and the one ayotosteed is based on was a "little armored horse" theres a very interesting documentary on this i suggest watching, although im not sure if it has english subs

The first of my new fossils. There are two more Rock type fossil lines and then a series of Ghost types, hitting all the different types I used for fossils in my first region, Bretlan. Glyptocryst are ancient pokemon with sturdy, heavy shells to protect them from predators. Due to its smooth roundness, claws and fangs slide right off and only its underside is vulnerable, though still protected with dense fur. Because of their inherent sluggishness they are reliant on their shell and simply hunker down and wait for danger to blow over. Doedicryst have developed powerful tails, tipped with a crystal mace. Although still imeccaby well defended they are now able to use their tail and claws as formidable weapons to go on the offensive. Despite their icy finish, the shell of a Deodicryst is well insulated and were used by ancient peoples as igloos. Serembolt are quick footed and intelligent predators, adapted well to coursing through the tall grass of their ancestral home. Special feathers rub together as they run to create a static charge whilst other feathers are capable of storing and releasing it. Electrical attacks are typically reserved for defence as they are capable combatants with just their beaks and claws. Kelenkrak are powerful hunters, employing their immense beak like an axe whilst running down their quarry. They prefer the open spaces of the plains they inhabit to better leverage their speed and will flush prey out of hiding with bolts of electricity so that they may run them down. --Attack Info-- --Ability Info--

Circuilin, a ground electric type! it spends most of its time buried underground, absorbing energy from earthquakes. larger tails means more energy. if threatened, it outputs the energy in a huge burst of electricity.

I made a hedgehog/armadillo fakemon evo line. I'm basing the region off America and the three starters are gonna be from the three different region-ish areas (hotter desert, woods, and then the tundra). So here's our fire starter that turns into a fire/fighting!

They curl up into little balls so their spikes face their attackers, but as they evolve their spikes grow larger and sharper and they use it as a weapon instead of just defense.

Inktober 52 2023 - Week 23 - ‘Mask’

I was going to finally upload my ideas for what the Quarians from mass effect looked like for this prompt as I dug out the loft my old art from years ago including some of my ideas and designs for them. But I’m buried in paper right now, and I need more time to dig out all my old art, scan it and do a long explanation as to why I designed them the way I did. Basically It needs more attention, and I’m a bit busy at the moment, so instead have a little creature dump involving the theme of masks.

Bottom left is a fakemon. Poison type involving gas masks. Maybe an armadillo-like Pokémon who changed to poison after eating pollutants when its environment was destroyed by industrial waste. Now it eats the toxins and emits both clean air, or poisonous air as a defence.

Worm masks because of course. Grinning worms are meant to be part technological, so these masks prevents your worm from being hacked or doxxed in their part-computer brains. Customizable to match your personal worm!

I've been working on a new project for a while. I've posted rough designs of these starters, but this week is the first time I'll share the finished design. This is a fakemon region based on the American West called the Occido Region. This is the grass starter, Segolillo. It's a mesh of Sego Lilly and Armadillo.
