So I’ve decided that s05e09 of Flash might just be my favorite episode. ⚡️If not it’s for sure in the top 5! 😂 my other top 4 episodes are all probably crossover episodes to be honest. I really love Olivarry!! Barry & Oliver just have such good chemistry.

Also, I had forgotten that I stopped early in season 3 when I first watched this series. And man was I dumb because it really starts to get better once season 4 begins. But now season 9 is wrapping up and it’s hard not to read spoilers. 🤷🏻‍♀️

One of my favorites attributes of Pearl is just how good at playing off of others she is. She matches everyone's energy so well and is just so genuinely charismatic that all her interactions and duos end up being incredibly entertaining

Other great attributes include her incredibly silly noises, Amazing use of color and shape in her builds– most other people take a very architectural approach to building but hers is just pure art– and her banger pvp skills

Watching Criminal Minds is dangerous. Like, I decided to watch one episode of Criminal Minds season 2 and because that one was to hard hitting I decided to watch another. Just one more I told myself and then it was another emotionally draining one but instead of time for recovery it jumped right into episode 12 which is another very heavy episode. I only have one more before I get to the episodes where Reid is taken and tortured by what’s his name and I’m not sure there will be a restful period for several episodes because yay addiction. And so long story short, well more like long story story, I think I’m going to end up staying up all night watching Criminal Minds. An amazing use of my time when I should really be sleeping because not only am I fighting a very persistent and annoying cold, I am also exhausted and sore all over from laying sod for the past two days straight. And I pretty much go directly from that to a week of craziness and then I start my new job that I know will be horrible for my mental health and am hoping I just get a few anxiety attacks and no new

Well…I guess I kinda got the idea when I was watching through 2012 and saw some other people’s silly little crossovers. I drew a few of my own which you can see HERE and HERE. That is, when I got to the first 87 crossover in the 2012 Space Arc which got me thinking “hey what if there was a TMNT 2012 x ROTTMNT crossover? Like a full length, or at least multiple episode story comic?” So I decided to dig around on the fandom to see if there was anything I liked and was pretty disappointed by the lack of stuff I could find, until I found this picture: (sadly I still don’t know who “L|\|N” or “LNCARTOON” is, if someone could send me a link, that’d make my day)

Seeing these little comic panels gave me a light bulb moment of “Well, if I can’t find any crossovers I like, then I’ll just make one I like!” I started thinking on it some, and soon enough I had drafted a plan for my own 2012xRise crossover. One that didn't drag either series through the mud and was everything I could’ve wanted from a Rise/2012 crossover. And that’s how Rise of the Parallel came to be :]

My favorite is Leo and always has been 💙 I vibe with him so hard, especially 2012 Leo :]

Comic Con-versation

Had this little blurb idea while I was mowing at work, I seem to get these a lot while doing that...

This comes from the idea that during the episode Reign Storm, when Pariah Dark rips Amity Park from the land of the living it's not quite put back into its right dimension which ties into Reality Trip when Danny finds out there's a comic book series about him that heavily goes into his backstory to his dread. The universe? DC where Danny Phantom is essentially the same level as DC is here.

The Justice League was currently called into a meeting, not that is was a new thing for Billy aka Shazam. What WAS a new thing was that Constantine, workaphobic/smokeaholic Justice League Dark member, was the one to call in the meeting. Billy gets deposited by the zetatubes and sees some familiar faces around the table; Batman, Nightwing and Red Robin on one side while Flash and Kid Flash/Impulse sat across from them adamantly talking. Constantine stood by the projector controls with huge stacks of comics, newspapers and magazines.

One of the comics catches Billy's eye; a young man in a hazmat suit looking into a screen that loops onto him watching the screen titled Masters of All Time. He quickly flies over and snatches it from the pile, "Awesome! I didn't know we were aloud to bring comics up here. I've been meaning to catch up on this series." He kicks up his feet and starts reading.

Constantine gives a tired look at Shazam, "You mean to tell me that you know this series? I've just spent that last bloody three weeks studying this bollocks."

"Of course, who doesn't know about Danny Phantom?!"

The remaining league walks in at that point as Batman, Nightwing and Flash raise their hands. Impulse flashes over and reads them in a second.

"Dude that's so crash, these are CLASSIC~. Dad had an incomplete set that he gave me for my birthday. Oh dude! Reality Trip, I remember this one; Danny, Sam and Tucker are chased-"

"HEY! Spoilers!"

"Sorry."

"Constantine if you can just start the meeting about why we're here?"

"Right. As Shazam said; this is a comic book series about a ghost themed superhero. Sorta like Deadman but not magical." Constantine types into the console and brings up multiple pictures of Danny Phantom's scenes from the book. "The comic book series has been running for nineteen years, it's had multiple adaptations and crossovers. Thousands of roleplaying accounts across multiple social medias, millions of enjoyers of the media across the globe."

"How is this a problem for us," Aquaman asks as he flips through one of the comic books. "It's fictional."

"Yes and no." John presses a key and a real life picture of a town comes on screen."

"Holy Geez! Is that Amity Park?!" Red Robin exclaims as he takes over a personal console and makes a 3D render of the city, rotating and zooming until he finds a brick building with a heaping monstrosity of metal atop of it with a sign stating Fentonworks. "It's real..."

Batman looks at Red Robin calculatingly, "I wasn't aware you partook in that kind of media."

"It's a guilty hobby."

Constantine clears his throat, "It appears real. This city didn't exist four months ago and not just that." He pulls up an actual picture of Danny Phantom in the flesh, "This has magical bullshit written all over it and the only thing to explain it is a Tulpa. All of the evidence points to it; millions of thoughts based on one subject, it suddenly appears out of nowhere and there wasn't a blip on our systems."

"Is a tulpa that much of a problem," Wonder Woman asks as she looks over the pictures of Phantom and Amity Park."

"It can be difficult; seeing how this character's powerset changes more than Supe's does and he's just as strong. The problem is if it's NOT a tulpa and the comics are prophetic."

"Why," Batman asks straight to the point.

Constantine looks through the stacks of comics and pulls out two of them; one with a black gauntlet wearing a green skull ring taking up the front page and the other a grim scene of a large blue skin version of Danny Phantom with fire like hair standing amidst skulls and ruin buildings.

"This first one is about a King of Ghosts ripping the city from their plane of existance, he manages to defeat him in single combat and return his city to his world. Sound familiar?" John gestures at the images of Amity Park. The second is where the problem comes from; this is an evil version of the stories hero, corrupted after the lose of his family. He destroys his world with Amity Park being the only remaining city."

"Ok," Flash asks bored as he flips through the comics.

"Ok? Ok?! It's not bloody ok. It hasn't happened yet but other things have happened exactly as they did in the comics!" He pulls up videos of Danny Phantom and Danny Fenton being split apart and a satellite feed of a massive armored vehicle firing at something that can't be seen.

"The next part is Doomsday! Those two events happen directly after the city is ripped from its dimension and dropped into this one. We all die! Dark Danny comes back in time to reassure his future, we have to stop this."

The Justice league shares a look as Constantine keeps ranting about the incoming apocalypse from a comic book.

"Constantine when is the last time you had a vacation?"

To celebrate this occasion and the upcoming crossover with Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, here's a little comic—based on a script by CEO of Star Trek and a sketch I made, brought to life by the amazing talent of @serial02721—that revisits one of the show's most iconic scenes. We'd like to thank Tawny Newsome and Jack Quaid for the work they put into their characters, Mike McMahan for being the creative mind behind the show, Dave Ihlenfeld for writing this beautiful scene, and the rest of the cast and crew for giving us this awesome cartoon!

So with Hazbin Hotel finally releasing in just a couple more months, I thought I’d talk about what might be the biggest underlying question a lot of us have:

How much, if any, crossover will there by with Helluva Boss?

Now to start with, despite Blitzo and Moxxie having originated conceptually as side-characters/villains in Hazbin, I think we should NOT be expecting any kind of major or even minor appearances of I.M.P. in Hazbin Hotel. And frankly, I think that’s a GOOD thing. These two shows really should be allowed to stand on their own without relying on any kind of crossover/cameo appeal. Not to mention that these two casts of characters don’t really have much reason to cross over, given that they occupy pretty different circles. Like just the fact almost all of Hazbin’s cast (human Sinners) are confined to the Pride Ring of Hell while Helluva’s cast are often traveling between the various rings and even going to Earth kind of limits the potential points of interaction. All in all, despite how much many of us might hope for it, I think we should be expecting appearances from the I.M.P. crew in Hazbin Hotel. Though barring one, VERY SPECIFIC possible scenario I’ll dive into later.

Instead, the potential crossover between these two shows that I’m actually very curious about comes not from Helluva’s main characters, but rather from some of the supporting cast.

Specifically, I’m very curious if we’ll get cameos from the other Sins.

Because whereas Blitzo, Moxxie, Millie or even Stolas run in entirely different societal circles than either Charlie or the Sinners she’s trying to help, with the Sins it’s an entirely different situation.

Not only are the other Kings of Sin we’ve met the fellow rulers of Hell alongside Lucifer, we’ve also gotten implications that they do see each other more or less as family. Which by extension, could very well mean they are family to Charlie as well. Basically, Ozzie, Bee, Mammon and the rest could absolutely be presented as Charlie’s aunts, uncles or cousins, depending on whether Lucifer is an ‘older brother’ or outright ‘father’ to the group as a whole.

Which all taken together means that the Sins actually have all the reason to make an appearance or two in Hazbin. Like we know from the trailers that we’re going to have a flashback to Charlie’s childhood of her spending time with her father. Imagine how cool it would be if said flashback included a couple cameos from the other Sins?

Obviously I don’t think we should expect Asmodeus, Beelzebub or any of the rest to be any kind of major recurring presence in Hazbin Hotel, especially when we consider that the vast majority of the action of Hazbin is going to be locked to the Pride ring. But it does feel very natural or even outright necessary to the narrative that they make an occasional appearance. Particularly when we consider that it’s pretty much inevitable that Hazbin dives into the backstory of Lucifer, Lilith and the creation of Hell as a whole, at which point it would be pretty weird if the other sins DIDN’T show up in some major capacity, especially if they are indeed fallen angels like Lucifer.

And of course I think we can all agree that it would be pretty awesome just to see any of the Sins show up in an episode of Hazbin, even if whatever they’re doing is largely unrelated to the events of Helluva Boss. Like imagine an episode or arc where Charlie and Vaggie have a big argument, and Charlie ends up getting advice from ‘Uncle Ozzie’? Like even if you haven’t seen Helluva Boss, the idea of Charlie getting relationship advice from the King and Embodiment of LUST is hilariously surreal on its own, but the fact that it would almost certainly be actually GOOD advice just makes it funnier. While those who have seen Helluva can appreciate, among other things, the parallels between Charlie’s relationship with Vaggie and Asmodeus’s relationship with Fizzerolli.

Now with that all being said, as I alluded to earlier there is ONE specific scenario where I can see the I.M.P. crew making AN appearance in Hazbin Hotel:

Given the fact that Blitzo and Moxxie did originate as Hazbin side-characters, I do think it wouldn’t be surprising if we got an episode of the show meant to pay tribute to this fact. Basically have an episode where Blitzo, Moxxie, Millie and Loona show up as one-off pseudo-villains as an episode-long ‘in-joke’ referencing the origins of Helluva Boss and giving the team a chance to give an idea as to what Blitzo’s and Moxxie’s original roll in Hazbin would have been.

Say, Charlie and co. are dealing with a sinner who is particularly fixated/obsessed with ‘unfinished business’/grudge from their life with Charlie trying to get them to let go of that grudge by convincing them there just isn’t anything they can do about it from Hell. Cue perhaps Angel Dust ‘helpfully’ mentioning that he’s heard of some people who do exactly that, or perhaps simply a rather familiar jingle can suddenly be heard over a nearby TV, and we’re off to the races.

Again, more or less doing an homage to what Blitzo and Moxxie likely would have originally been doing as Hazbin side-characters.

That's fair, I also watched 3 Below before Troll Hunters, because:

A. A show about glowy aliens living on Earth seemed way more up my ally than some dude who slays rock monsters with a magic sword.

And

B. I had absolutely no clue they were from the same universe, & was absolutely flabbergasted when I watched the 1st "crossover" episode.

I've now watched Troll Hunters, & I like it alot!!! (Not as much as 3 Below though)

oh awesome! im not alone! i was surprised that they were having like,, a legitimately bad time for most of the series (looking at you varvatos vex...). and I ended up liking steve and eli together! but I'm kind of afraid that their dynamic will be boring in the main series... For the love of God, TGAMM ISN'T OVER

yes I understand, we dont have confirmation for S3, but I'm sure Disney is waiting to see peoples reactions before renewing it.

Lets take a look at Wander over yonder, a canceled Disney show. It only had 2 seasons, but the last episode of season 2 was marketed as a SERIES FINALE while "the end* was marked as a SEASON FINALE.

Now, lets take a look at an important thing that happened this year: THE WRITERS STRIKE. If you were on Twitter (or x I guess) when all that was happening, you'd know Bill and Bob were at the strike when it was happening, so it also could've been pushed back.

Another thing. To make things simple, because of some rules, Animators cant strike until 2024 (this year) so there might be an ANIMATION STRIKE any time THIS YEAR.

Lets look at Milo Murphy's Law, because frankly, its nothing like that. MML was on Disney XD, yknow, where cartoons die? No one watched DXD. Also, it relied on Phineas and ferb so much that it lost its own audience (no hate I love mml).

I'd recommend Chandlers video, it explains everything with better detail than i ever could (also you should subscribe to him he makes awesome videos, he is workingon a Tgamm x haunted mansion crossover):

I’m thinking about an absolutely epic Xena/Legends of Tomorrow crossover and it’s so cool. Believe me. But it’s mostly got me thinking about how Sara and Xena have such similar arcs (did horrible things after ‘just surviving’ went too far, lost a lot getting themselves back, dead sibling, resurrection (not a spoiler as both die constantly), bisexual, strong themes of love being the most important thing to rely on, REALLY good at combat, was temporarily blinded, fun combo of evil and awesome exes, moved from side character/love interest to lead of a different show, silly episodes interspersed with heartbreaking questions about morality, redemption, and whether living a good life is something they can ever hope for, sabotaging relationships to spare the other person, that one tragic ex-gf who they still have a lot of regrets about, etc) and I really do have predictable taste in shows.

Hmmm, so funnily enough, I've not thought of it that much. I'm not really a "these characters meet other characters" kind of gal when I do crossovers, HOWEVER, (warning: I HAVE NOT WATCHED PAST 13 AND I DON'T CARE TO. GABRIEL DYING WAS MY FINAL STRAW SO THAT EPISODE WAS THE LAST I EVER WATCHED)

Ghost flirts with Dean, Dean is not the player he once was because Ghost is way too young for him

For the record, Price is not and is his type, I am sure you can see where I'm going with this

Oh god, it's just hitting me that I've never actually talked about my SPN opinions on this blog so I have no idea what live fire I might be throwing myself in front of. Whatever, moving on

I'll match the characters up how I think they would go, being -Ghost and Gabriel (hear me out. Both use humor to cope, both were "forsaken" by their fathers, both had asshole siblings. Gabriel was a lot more serious in the later seasons after being traumatized, and I think he'd end up relating a lot more to Ghost and both would enjoy the dark humor the other can provide. Gabriel would LOVE that goldfish joke) -Farah would love Claire and adopt her as a younger sister (Speaking of! Claire is around Gaz's age :D) -Gaz would probably love Jack, I'm just saying -Valeria definitely heavily enjoyed Ruby's "I'm awesome" speech and would one hundred percent "girl boss" with her -I have opinions but I think Dean and Soap, but I think Dean would see himself in Soap and Soap wouldn't like how Dean treated Castiel. -Rudy and Castiel, I don't think I have to elaborate, here. (For the record, Rudy is also not getting along with Dean.) -Alex and Benny, for no other reason than they're both from around the same area and I think both would appreciate finally having another southerner around (that isn't Graves.) -AU Michael and Makarov, don't fight me on this one, you know I'm right. -I'm going to also say Dean and Alejandro, for obvious reasons -Sam and Price, both due to being closer in age and also because I think Price is secretly very nerdy -Laswell and Jody, but... I mean, that was obvious. They don't actually bond over being mother figures, Jody ends up bonding more with Price over that, it's more just... everything in their lives being so unsure because of their careers, even when Jody was just a cop. -I think Lucifer would fucking love Graves, but I don't think Graves would even like Lucifer. I think Lucifer would just be way too much for Graves, and Graves would very likely call him pathetic for being unable to keep a handle on hell and for whining all the damn time. (Also for being caught so easily and so frequently.)

I'm considering this more as Sam, Dean, and CO universe hopped to COD, so I'm just saying... no one is impressed by them, and then vice versa.

COD characters are not going to be intimidated by a bunch of civilians chasing monsters and the SPN characters don't consider war that scary when they've faced the apocalypse 80 bazillion times

There is also the age gap to take into consideration, I mean Gaz and Soap can't be older than thirty and I don't actually consider many of the characters even hitting the 35 mark.

I am also considering this as COD exists as a game franchise in SPN world, and SPN exists as a TV show in COD world, so they do know about each other.

So, I'm just saying, Dean is getting snide remarks from a few corners for his treatment of a few people. Gabriel and Castiel, especially, all points considered. I don't think Ghost, Soap, Gaz, or Rudy are letting it slide in any direction

Price doesn't care enough to stop them

Alejandro is just annoyed that even MORE people are in his base, and these ones happen to be civilians from another universe.

Despite getting along with them, however, neither Dean or Sam are allowed near Rudy. Hey, Alejandro's seen the show, he knows most of both of their shticks is flirting and fucking, he's good. (Cas is the one he has to watch out for, but he's unsuspecting because there's no way that nerd has a chance. Rudy is too loyal to his husband, but Cas definitely has a chance.)

Valeria is actively plotting how to use demons in her quest for power. You know she is already forming that alliance with Rowena

She doesn't like Lucifer enough.

Farah has already offered Claire and Alex (SPN) a home in Urzikstan, Alex (COD) has said he's unsure that'll work out.

Benny is just not allowed around anyone without respective partner there. I mean, look at him... you'd be worried too. I'd be worried. We'd all be worried.

Anyway, I'm very anxious to post this just because, again, I have no idea what I'm subjecting myself to. All I'm saying is, if you disagree with me... um... I didn't watch 14 or 15, so that's what I'm blaming that on. (Gabriel was my favorite character, do not be mean to him or Benny.)

Saw Stone Ocean. I get wanting to keep the story centered on Jolyne’s circle but I feel like we could’ve seen Giorno and Josuke during Maiden Heaven rebooting the universe itself. Like really show surviving members of the previous parts witnessing the cosmic event. Maybe revisit past moments in an extra episode where we see characters predict their fates. Maybe show Dio during the revamped Part 3 sneer over Pucci’s then victory.

One of the biggest complaints for this Part actually is that it's very limited as far as crossovers go! Like yeah, Jotaro is there, but this is the grand finale of the story of Jonathan's descendants as well as the original timeline. It really feels like a huge wasted opportunity for Josuke and especially Giorno to not be there. Like, Dio's sons are LITERALLY a huge plot point, and in the manga ARAKI SPECIFICALLY SAYS ON AN AUTHOR'S NOTE PAGE THAT GIORNO MIGHT SHOW UP. So like, why the fuck didn't he?

It would have been an awesome way to show the duality of Dio/Jonathan's sons too, seeing that Giorno has chosen the path of nobility and carrying on the Joestar spirit (while still being ruthless) while his brothers are following in Dio's footsteps.
