I'm fascinated at how hard ianthe worked to cut naberius and coronabeth out of everything.

She could have solved the trials at cannon house so much faster if she had been willing to use a cav.

She probably wouldn't have had to grab the key out of abigals guts if she had just been willing to include either cav in her plans.

But she cant seam to share her own vulnerability with anyone. She will give them jokes and come ons, but she never really let's anyone in and risk surrendering control. Not even Corona.

I think that is her weakness.

Ianthe knows how to be a team player. She even has people she loves and values. Yet she can't seem to take the final step and trust others. She can't be vulnerable

And I think that that is what will brake her in the end.

In the mean time, I continue to look forward to her absolutely camp villian monologs.

I think my problem is people automatically lumping her in with the batfamily just because she’s worked with them/ is in gotham. I hate when i see random batfam posts tagged with helena that clearly know nothing about her and mention her briefly.

Helena’s relationships with some of the batfam IS interesting, and they are a big part of her story. The issue is with people who know nothing about her just associating her as “random batfam member”

Rose + Babs team up. Yay or nay?

i am ALWAYS in favor of two of my favs teaming up so absolutely yes

rose is the kind of person thats like "i will do this on my own and i would rather burst into flames than ask for help" but also she isnt as much of a detective so much to her dismay she does need to ask for help sometimes

and barbara, who IS willing to work with people given that oracle is the go-to for basically the entire superhero community, is ready to strangle rose because she refuses to tell her anything. even when it is important to the case theyre working on

i think rose would have mixed feeling about babs just because rose does keep things close to her chest a lot, and babs is really good at finding peoples private information so rose doesnt really trust her (not that shes necessarily HIDING anything but she just doesnt like people knowing her), but then also she would definitely be impressed by babs overall bc like. fighting skills and detective skills and the whole shebang. its impressive.

babs would kind of see a lot of cass in rose, in the sense that they had terrible fathers that took away parts of their life. so she might try at least a little to give rose the "normal teenager" treatment. but also rose had a fairly average childhood for the first 14 years of her life, then a not-average-but-also-not-that-terrible life for the next 3-4 years, so it would piss her off a little to be treated delicately like that

but despite all of that. they would work well together. they can both be extremely focused and driven when it comes to hero-ing and i think that would mesh well if they were to team up

it would be a bit of a mess but it would be a fun mess. once rose learns to actually trust babs and work with her then everyone else is so fucked

#rose ends up in gotham and she realizes she needs a detective's help #and she considers whether she'd rather call one of the bats or slam her head against a wall really hard #and before she can make a choice babs reaches out like #'hey i found out ur working on this case. i am also working on this case. #lets compile evidence and team up' #on all levels but physical rose is kicking and screaming and trying to run away #but they start working together #its a little bit awful at first but eventually they clean house easily #rose wilson #barbara gordon #dc #it is very important to me that rose is extremely hard to get along with #i say that with all the love in my heart #but she does not want to work with others and actively fights against them #she is extremely difficult to everyone around her 💕💕
