Animals: Hummingbirds
Above all birds, the hummingbird gives me that feeling of the mystery and the wonder of life. Such a vibrant little body, such color, and wings that beat faster than thought. I felt as if I could watch the whole of life if I could hold a hummingbird in my hand once.

How'd you come up with the call sign?
To be quite honest I just wanted to use a callsign that wasn't being used by other writers to avoid confusion, and Canary seemed free.
Then I decided that she would be called that because she was really good at whistling and imitating bird sounds.
In the Canaryverse (lol) her teammates started calling her that when she was still a private and before she joined 141, during a night out to celebrate a mission well done. After a few shots of tequila, she started showing off her chirping skills and became quite the sensation.
There is at least one video circulating around of her answering questions in chirps and whistles instead of actual sentences. She gets quite embarrassed whenever someone brings it up.

This article is an interesting and important read for Midwesterners who are invested in either game hunting, agriculture, or environmental conservation, as it educates us on one shockingly net-positive intersection between the subjects through the history and impact of the introduction of Ring-Necked Pheasants in the United States.

How dumb was I at 20
Trying to remember how stupid I was at 20yo. Oh yeah, I didn't have a chance to be 'cause I was working my butt off for my health insurance. Two years prior, I was collecting spare computer parts to provide troubleshooting and repairs to pay for my rent downtown. Then I was working out to become the size I was told I needed to be. Can't forget those tough times. At least I had my babe who I loved.
