Neighbourhood flowers. I’m having a bit of trouble shooting anything white. There isn’t much detail even though it wasn’t a really bright sunny spot & shaded under a tree it didn’t make any difference. Thankfully the bokeh effect blurred the part of the photo that was blown out. Captured July 9, 2023 posted Aug 19, 2022.

I don't know if you talked about this before but is there a show that got colors so right that it WOW-ed you, as in they nailed it all from a to z?
Anon, I love this question. Do you understand? LOVE IT! I'm actually doing a colors award post in December because these shows are doing an amazing job with color coding this year. I'm always pleased with the colors I get, and last year's were a treat, but something about this year is feeding my soul DAILY, so allow me to take some small detours to highlight a few favorites before I answer your question:
I Cannot Reach You's color-coded bokeh effect is driving me mad with excitement each episode.
Destiny Seeker had consistent color-coding every episode, from beginning to end, with no missteps. 10/10 color coding. No notes.
Kiseki: Dear to Me and Never Let Me Go delivered consistent coding through the wardrobe of its couples that has me biting my knuckles simply thinking about them.
The Eighth Sense delivered on its dark versus light color dynamic during that phenomenal colorful kiss and the subway ride.
But Dark Blue Kiss will forever remain the best color exchange during a kiss for me.
Semantic Error could have snatched that top spot because everything was included in the color-coding adventure: lighting, wardrobe, props, TODO!
But if you know anything about me, the champion should come as no surprise because this show understood the assignment, and I devoured it each week with lengthy write-ups, so the winner was always gonna be . . .
Big Dragon
Its color-coding game is unbeatable from start to finish.
The houses, the lighting, the clothing, the phones, the hookups, EVERYTHING WAS COLOR-CODED!
And I'm a sucker for the color coding starting when the characters are kids.
Then those sweet sweet color exchanges! Ah, my heart is gonna explode!
And it wasn't just the colors. Big Dragon was feeding me symbolism every damn episode: Yin/Yang, Tiger/Dragon, Moon/Sun, Dark/Light. AND THE SIDES WERE IN ON IT TOO!
This show knew what it was doing, visually, thanks to cinematographer Ratchanon Kaeosaart who was also behind I Promised You the Moon, and it never missed! This is one of the reasons it instantly gained a top spot in my heart. This show didn't just wow me. It made me fall in love with it, easily, and I have been obnoxiously obsessed with it since.

Hello, I go by Troi (he/him - 35+). I honestly don't know what to put here (I'll edit it later for sure).
I enjoy 3D art (I use a program called, DAZ Studio. None of my work is AI generated). I can barely draw stick figures. I also am a writer/storyteller at heart. My newest obsession is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Every K-Drama Romance has at least 3...
That one adult actor that you recognise from some other K-Drama/Child Actor you've seen in like three K-dramas.
Parents get into debt, so the daughter helps pay it off.
Crossdressing as Son or Daughter due to curse/Mistaken Identity thing.
Amnesia/drunk confession scene.
The accidental falls in slow-mo.
The accidental fall in Episode 3, where ML and FL accidentally Kiss
The alt ML and FL who are the secretary of ML and best friend of Cinderella-type Girl.
Rich boy falls for poor girl when they're children.
Boy best friend of FL or brother of ML has tried to date FL or FL's friend/Has a crush on her since childhood/Has an obsession with FL that makes ML flex his cash/Threaten to split family ties/Move out/Travel far away.
Possible Orphan/cared for by aunt/Uncle/Grampa.
Poor girl is now my Employee between 25-30, and he knows, it's why he hired her there.
Poor girl plays Cinderella to impress the elder's family/They both plan it.
By episode 6-7, ML and FL have a fight due to ML's experiencing/remembering childhood trauma.
ML has proposed at least twice.
ML has set up work 'trips' which are dates, just so Elders stop asking/sending ML on Blind dates.
Based on a webcomic which is either in the opening titles/first frames/obviously advertised in the show somehow.
K-pop is also heavily advertised.
Flash forward to the wedding/Happy couple with a son and daughter, probably played by child actors who played FL and ML as children.
ML/FL/other FL and ML Alt have a steamy suggestion that is in the webcomic but is cut off by bokeh shots of undoing outfits, lips or discarded clothing everywhere.

How did you get into graphics/gif making?
Oh wow, I... it happened so long ago omg, it's actually nearing 10 years?? 💀 believe it happened around 2014! I became sososo obsessed with the How To Train Your Dragon franchise and that led me to Tumblr because that was where the gifs were coming from to facebook and it made me make this Tumblr blog and then just fell in love with these evermovers <33 And then a kind blog explained how to download a free software so that I could make my own. <3
What do you enjoy about making graphics/gifs?
The fact that I can rewatch certain scenes infinite times, that while cropping you can notice small, otherwise hidden details. Coloring and blending can be fun too! And then I get to read all of your nice little compliments in the tags or your metas. ♥♥♥ That is definitely up high on this list.
Your favorite graphic and or gif created by yourself?
This got a little long 😅 I am still so!! proud of this color palette Jaskier set, this orange/gold Clary set, this TK set is just so dear to me, and then there is this set I did for @kiras-sunshine birthday last year, this Tarlos s3 pride set with this Bi!Nancy set, and special shoutout to the sets I made last year for the Lone Star Season 3 Ep and Character weeks, with a special spot being reserved for my feral cat! TK set!! The best legacy I could hope to leave!! 💖💖

question: would you be okay with me making a vox machina version of your mighty nein “planet of the bass” meme? i’m really obsessed with it lol and i thought a vm one would be fitting. i’ll link your post as the inspiration in mine. also if you are okay with me doing this… what was the template you used to make yours? was it something you drew or just like,, a meme template??
HAHAHA yes i am okay with you doing that!!!! as long as you ping me so i can see it!!!! i think percy works for "life. it never die." i also think grog would be good for "EVERYBODY MOOOOVEMENT" but that's just me
i made the template myself on clip studio paint! i copied the fullbody official image of each character from each of their wiki pages into the canvas on its own layer and made each character transparent by using the magic select tool to select and delete their backgrounds. then i gave the canvas a gradient background and pasted on some random 90s eurodance image on the blending mode "lighten" (this is the music bar volume thing in the background). over top of everything i put a subtle bokeh effect.
for the text, i used "Future Techno Italic Font" found here and downloaded it to my computer's font gallery so i could use it on CSP using the text tool. the letters are white and outlined by hot pink using the border effect layer property.
basically i would just arrange the mighty nein pc so that it looked nice and no part of their body got cut off in a weird way for the most part. then i made one (1) text layer with the first "LIFE. IT NEVER DIE" exactly how i wanted it with the size and outline and everything, and just kept duplicating that layer but modifying the phrase itself. this is all on one canvas so it was just a matter of making the irrelevant layers invisible and saving the image so that it was just the relevant m9 member and their phrase visible.

Delawareeeeee my loooveeeee! I cannot believe but I love Delaware now. Before leaving Siham's house, I had been to H&M and got myself a pair of cute comfy pants & top. Since then, I have been obsessed with H&M even more. I never expected to find the same old turtle neck design black top but when I walked into the Delaware H&M I see it first thing and im like FANGURLING OVER IT LOOOL XD then I got myself another pair of comfy pant/top & a stack of underwear. Totally needed the whole thing and got it under $40 can you believe that. It's amazing. 😭😭🤧🤧

"Chashma ghar pe reh gaya"
Probably the only thing that makes me rush back home, cussing, bigger strides, skipping steps.
I was miles away in a bus set for college town when I realised it this time. Sigh. It's ok, it's not like I have to note down anything from the board or something else of that sort - which would matter.
It's not that I'm blind without them, just squinting my eyes to make sure the person across the road is a cute girl or just a guy with long hair seems weird.
4 days without glasses - no fancy number plates to read, no HD vision, just a blur for the distance.
Had to return back home today, probably the lowest point in my academic life, it mattered, scoring good was an essential part of the personality I made growing up, and it was just left to "passing" the exams, and it didn't happen this time. Heaviest heart.
I got on, glasses waiting at home, earphones to deafen the thoughts, the window seat, the pretty green mountains, the occasional rains, a backpack to cuddle, it sure calmed me down.
Oof, the headaches, the strain on eyes finding the aesthetic in the obvious emptiness of nature. I am here now, a little auto to take me home, and I've never been in a auto this cute. Happy moment.
It was dark by now, rain sprayed down, lightest as it can be, the traffic flowed on the opposite side of the road, I was moving ahead. I have never been thankful for forgetting something, the bokeh of headlights that flowed down the street,a river of golden lights, the cold drizzle made it better, my eyes were lit up like a cartoon character.
It was pretty. Pretty enough to make me forget to click its pictures. This one was gonna be my second favourite view.
Glad I forgot my glasses.
They always say everything happens for a reason, it's not that, whatever has to happen will happen, you just have to stay there, don't go back in time, don't go in the future, you can't control either, find what makes you happy in the moment, live.
And if you feel like the view is gonna be pretty next time, where the definition of details isn't necessary, the obsession over making it right isn't required, and if it's going to make you feel happier, just get up and leave.
Forget your chashma.
